bad advice: party about it! get fucked up!
good advice: use it as a stepping stone to grow, listen to music… that really is an undoing when it comes to getting over an ex. also retail therapy, if you’re gonna get over an ex you should look absolutely fucking fabulous whilst doing so. write music about it. journal about it. getting over an ex is a great opportunity to make music out of it.

i love you so much char, you mean everything to me
youre right on ALL counts i have at least one lp i haven't spun yet (sam cooke greatest hits), and i still need to spin the rest of the 7"s i bought in the city last week. there are a few artists on my radar to check out more of, mostly the grateful dead and bob dylan (feel free to give more recs your music taste is flawless!) (i'm trying to learn she belongs to me on guitar)
and i have a months-old $50 gift card to an art supply store that i haven't used yet! i just set up a desk in my room so i finally have a dedicated workspace to paint because i'm hoping to eventually apply to an art college :)
songwriting inspiration has been wayyyy lacking recently but by god i hope that changes. if im going to get my whole emotional shit wrecked by some asshole i DESERVE a good song or two out of it dammit !! i'm gonna try sitting down with my acoustic this week and seeing what comes out

Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.
Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.
