I agree with all of this and I want to add that I think Leon would only ever emotionally cheat on his partner because of lingering feelings for Ada but NEVER the real deal -- which is just worse in my opinion and makes for the best kind of angst because you KNOW Ada just has a different part of him that won't quite belong to you, ever. He's renounced ties with her in re4r and everything but there's just something there in him towards her, he'll never acknowledge it or ever talk about it, but you see it.

#at this point i've read too much aeon angst in reader fics but it's interesting nevertheless #like if you want it too close to canon without rewrites or reimaginings. leon *will* have feelings for ada and there's no sugarcoating it #what's important here is the reader character and what they do about it or how they feel #if they put not wanting to be the second person as priority. girl. Brain still soup but like. I think making one or both (or more!) characters involved in relationships with each other aromantic makes the dynamic soooooo much more compelling. Because if you remove romance as a motivator, you really get down to the nitty-gritty as to WHY that character is seeking out/involved in those relationships in the first place. Whether that relationship involves romantic factors or is more of a queer platonic thing. Much to think about....

How are the clones who have young Jedi Padawans deal with them ? Like- imagine Cal's or Caleb's battalion. Are the clones especially protective of them ? Do the kids get feathers or something ?

Caleb for example seemed very close to his battalion, and they did admire and respect Depa a LOT. Did the poor boy have to deal with overbearing winged clone Dads/Brothers ?

And regarding your Take Flight question, I unfortunately don't really got an answer for you. Because different groups of clones all have different and unique relationships with the nat-borns around them, so I can't really give a generalize answer.

I can't really even answer for Cal or Caleb specifically, since when I write and develop stories, I need to really build up how I perceive the culture of each battalion, who makes up the group, *their* personal backstories, and how that goes into how they interact with those around them...and I can't really do that big of a dive in an ask response!

But yeah, I'd expect it to be different and unique for both of their situations, and I guess I'll leave it at that!

I've come to the realization that I've known about mdzs for about 4 months and so far I've been juggling in my head 3 different songxuexiao fic ideas (ones actually not ship fic only about post canon song lan and inner turmoil which we love) and SOMEHOW all of them involve little kids to a certain degree, either raising them or having a group of little ducklings following u everywhere u go.

This is a first and a pattern I wasn't expecting but I guess I'm welcoming it!

How do we feel about Miller, generally, in the fandom?

i'm not sure tbh what the overall feel about miller is in the fandom. i've seen both positive and negative opinions so my guess is a mixed bunch, but to which way that tips i actually don't know bc i joined the fandom 'late'.

personally, i don't particularly like him as a character. i understand that they wanted a noir vibe so that must have factor in it's creation but a. he's just wasn't one of the characters i was drawn to, b. i can't get over his obsession with julie. i still think the story could have worked without pushing the obsession that far. crooked cop with loose morals gets a kidnap job, but as he digs in realizes how deep this goes, how much of a threat to belters that 'weapon' actually poses > eros > he becomes radicalized again/wants to stop it, etc becomes involved if you will. eros is more than enough to spiral, seek revenge, stop and so the list goes ... he still wouldn't become my fave, personally speaking but the overall story still holds. then again i'm being very subjective bc it made me uncomfortable.

i have to say, that i did not expect, when i read leviathan wakes that miller was far more self aware about how a. unhealthy his obsession was b. that the image of julie he made up in his mind wasn't actually julie, in the sense of who julie actually was but his own projection. i also do not personally agree with their decision to add in the kiss on the show, nor ship them, but to each their own.

i did whoever like the use of the investigator as a plot device. it's on the weird scifi stuff i find intriguing so yeah. and i get why they picked miller for it, but overall i'm eh about miller's character but i do like what they did with the investigator later on.

i want a style that i can have fun with, that i can have a lot of creative freedom with. i wanna be able to try new poses and body types and perspectives and all that fun stuff. and the style i have right now doesn't really give me that very well, so i'm switching it up to something different. kinda more accurate anatomy, but i am not touching realism lmao (nothing against realism it's genuinely so cool i just like being a lil funky with it)

your art changes as you draw. it can change drastically, or the changes can be minor. but it still changes as you try to find a style that makes you happy. and my art is still trying to figure out what it wants to be.
