task force 141 holiday headcanons

A/N: no bc like how fun would it be to spend christmas with the 141 like bffr rn. also feel free to send in requests for future posts ;)

soap

tbh i think soap would be the most hyped for it, he's the kind of mf who starts celebrating in november (besides it's not like he celebrates thanksgiving). like as soon as the weather starts getting chilly he's humming "last christmas" by wham! under his breath on missions and planning out christmas gifts for each team member. soap also wears santa hats whenever he can, and he tries to get the others to wear them too. he can usually get you, price, and gaz on board, but he's never gotten ghost. it's soap's life mission to see ghost in a santa hat though.

gaz

gaz seems like he'd be excited for christmas too, but not as excited as soap (at least he doesn't show it as much as soap). gaz is the kind of guy who looks forward to relaxing and doing nothing during christmas whereas soap looks forward to all the traditional christmas activities, setting up the tree, making a gingerbread house, buying presents, the whole shebang. on another note, i am officially announcing that gaz is stupid good at making gingerbread houses. like it's not fair how good he is. apparently it's because he's been making them with his family ever since he was a kid, but still. it's like scary impressive how good he is. like he will casually suggest building a multistory house with functional utilities, a garage with a working door, and a gingerbread remote controlled car.

price

price is a big softie for christmas. lord knows he can't go a single year without telling the task force about the christmas truce of world war one. and im serious about that, like sometime before christmas he will call everyone to the dining hall before dinner is served and make them listen to his speech about how the christmas truce should be a reminder that humanity still exists and it's important to treat fellow soldiers with respect and dignity. obviously super important stuff but it's sorta like the bullying presentations they show you in elementary school, in that you've heard it so many times you're just over it. besides that tho, price is pretty gung ho about christmas. again he doesn't get as festive as soap does (bc nobody can get as festive as soap does) but he's definitely in a happier mood because he let's the team get away with a lot more shenanigans during the winter season. on another note, he's also a big fan of eggnog, but he says the eggnog that soap makes is too sweet, even when soap doesn't even add any sugar. he always drinks it though, and sometimes he tells soap to make a batch just for him.

alejandro

alejandro and rudy both flew up from mexico to spend christmas with y'all and they are living their best life fr. idk why but im in love with the idea of alejandro drinking soaps eggnog but also sneaking a bit of bourbon into it. according to him it's because soap's eggnog tastes like shit and he needs to make it better, but you're pretty sure he's just ready to get drunk. he's definitely more chill about christmas than rudy, but he always gets involved in the festivities. one time he tried to decorate a gingerbread cookie, but when it turned out bad he made a show out of giving up and went to go talk and drink with price. he also is a big fan of mistletoe, not necessarily the kissing part just the concept. plus he thinks the plant is pretty.

rudy

rudy won't stop talking about the weather and how excited he is to have a white christmas (he's never experienced one before) and he's also completely in awe of the gingerbread houses gaz makes. rudy's actually a really good artist though, and so he makes the cutest little gingerbread cookies you've ever seen. he's also a firm believer in eating the head first to take the gingerbread man out of it's misery. rudy also really really likes buying stocking stuffers, and he'll drag you along to go shopping with him for like an entire day just shopping for candies and snacks and stupid knick knacks. if there's a competition for holiday spirit, it's definitely a toss up between rudy and soap.

ghost

and now for y'all's favorite: ghost. ghost tells people that he's ambivalent about christmas but it's clear he enjoys it. he doesn't sing carols or decorate gingerbread cookies with the rest of the team, but he'll sit on the side and watch everyone else, a cup of soap's eggnog in his hands. one thing he does partake in is decorating the tree, but that's mostly because soap always asks him to decorate the top of the tree. he also worries a lot about gifts, not because he's scared he's gonna get bad ones, but he's scared he's gonna get good ones. ghost's very conscious of the persona he puts on, and he feels like it would be contradictory if he got a super heartfelt gift for the team even though he knows they would love it. in the end though, he still gets them it anyways but tries to counteract it by not wrapping it and just slapping on a bow and trying to act nonchalant about it. he always takes careful note of how they respond though.

nope! although my dad used to claim that i was named after some slavic actress/model/wife-of-Some-Guy whose name i always forget

the weekend before the last, just your average sunday afternoon mental breakdown

sort of, but also not really? i do believe that there are certain people who are supposed to be in your life at certain times but that doesnt necessarily mean "forever"

4. Do you drink liquor?

rarely - im not opposed to it, i just dont often do things where there's alcohol involved

5. What do you usually daydream about?

listen. i have a very specific daydream universe that i always come back to but. you know how you sometimes read a story and can pretty much guess what's wrong with the author? describing my daydreams would be like that except you wouldnt have to guess at all, it'd be the most on-the-nose thing you've ever seen. might as well just post a list of everything that ever went wrong in my life and it'd be less embarrassing

6. First thing you notice about other people?

their voice!! (i mean obviously lots of times you see people before you hear them, but i dont really notice anything more specific than a general impression about appearances at first glance, yk?)

7. What's your favorite quote from a TV show/movie/book?

does a poem count? cause the only thing i can think of is "Es gibt keine Schuld. Es gibt nur den Ablauf der Zeit." from tucholsky's poem aus, which i havent stopped thinking about since i read it nine years ago (and for which i still havent found an english translation, sorry!)

absolutely hate when people overexplain stuff to me that i know, that you could reasonably assume i know, and that i've told you i know. i know a lot of times people mean well (which is why i wont get actively mad at anyone), but if i already told you i know about something, you really dont have to explain it to me like it's brand new information. (looking at all the guys who heard about my field of study and then went on to describe the most basic sociological concepts to me)

9. Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?

ireland!! i have no specific plans but i've wanted to go to ireland ever since i was a kid and saw the photos my parents took on their trip to ireland in the 90s

10. Where were you born?

in a small town in northern germany :)

nothing exciting tbh - video games, talking to friends, going for walks, and writing (<- i say, barely having written anything in months)

hi! im new to the john simm goodness (finished life on mars yesterday and i feel CHANGED) and i was wondering why john and philip glenister call eachother husbands? i know they were in a couple of projects together but im a bit confused. PS i've been scrolling through your blog looking for what to watch next and i think im going to watch Prey first, but any recommendations are apreciated! I wasn't expecting to have a john simm phase in the year of the lord 2022 but thank god there are still blogs like yours out there! <3 -newbie anon

First of all thank you for this lovely ask and welcome to John's fandom!! It makes me just as happy to know there are people still loving and appreciating him, I found myself saying the same in the year of the lord 2020 and am still loving every minute so definitely hope the same happens for you 🥰💖

Also so so glad to hear you've seen Life on Mars because it really is (in my completely unbiased opinion ofc 😂) one of the most life changing shows around, the ending is beautiful and a stunning sort of twist that sticks with you forever. As for John and Phil you've already noticed they work together a lot but they're also super close friends off set as well so "husbands" is a cheeky way of referencing that and expressing some love at the same time plus there's probably some hardcore mancrushing going on too for good reason tbh 😂

Not sure how much of his work you've already seen (and if you ever want to chat about it or him please feel free to send asks or messages anytime!) but I have to start as always by recommending Mad Dogs which is without a doubt the best series I've ever experienced, an absolute trip that plays on your mind every second. Prey is also absolutely fantastic and imo VERY underrated, an incredible display of John's acting and as a bonus one of my favorite looks for him too so you really can't go wrong 😍

I was floored when I searched jjba in the site I usually watch anime at and there were so many options, i kinda got confused but i found a 'watch order complete guide' so that's fixed but i never knew jjba didn't have that many fillers? apparently, all the ova's related to the story so it's recommended to not skip anything, excited to watch it tbh, long continuity types r a grind but the complex storylines are pretty rewarding when they finish im p sure, excited to see the animation too tbh

and ohh u both watched the prev seasons together? were you both able to understand the plot properly? (/genquestion/lyttheart) it never rlly occured to me that people watch anime 2gether since i usually rewind a lot (/lytheart) and oh wait, i'll make sure to hold off on reading the manga till after i finish watching the show then, ty for the warning :')! (/gen)

even though it got spoiled for you, i hope you were still able to enjoy stone ocean! (/gen) and yea i'm gonna need to agree, the character design for j geil is so wel-done it actually warrants an actual physical reaction from the audience (physical "yikes" from me lol), it really does fit his character or what i assume his characterization is meant to be xp does it make sense that the first time i saw his design i assumed his head was either: a rotten food or literal turd? idk haha(/lytheart) the art style definitely is dynamic and unique i can agree (/positive)

and ohh, using album song names as attack/power names is actually so clever, i don't know if i would've understood the reference until a few weeks but yeah it is deffo really smart(/gen) is there any other similar references like that? and woah, so kira is like a very plot relevant char (at least for those seasons im assuming) and oh part 1/2 are different from the others? looking forward to seeing how tbh but i'll find out when i watch that scene :D (/positive) a 'flaw' btw? i'm resisting the urge to find posts about it and watch for myself (/joke/lytheart) that sounds super cool

and i just searched for 'jjba part 4 rohan blue hair' scene, i don't know if i found it but i found some other scenes with different and p unique colorings. i'm really curious how they integrated that with the anime actually though i imagine it was around the fight scenes since those scenes typically have the most effects? and woah, his design definitely looks nice tbh, i don't know why but the bit about you saying "kinda cuz theyre pretty not bizarre (in comparison.)" reminds me of that one meme with the guy in yu-gi-oh w/ the normal hair as opposed to literally even in the series lol

and ohh, on rohan, i haven't seen many 'self-insert' type characters, at least not ones that have had good fandom reception?) but he does actually sounds really cool as a character from what you've said, i'm looking forward to seeing him carry the manga economy for a bit haha, that'd actually be a good promotion stunt now that i think abt it lol and yea no worries, ramblings r ver fun to read (/lytheart)

tbh i haven't seen much from csm aside from the makima memes and a fanart about one of the demon designs but it deffo looked very cool! and ohh, kobeni? she's a major character ryt? i never knew her name before but she looks super pretty tbh, and yay i'm glad you like her,! (/lh) i've heard the series gets kinda dark at some scenes? not sure about the specifics really, but from the scenes you've shown of him, denji's humor is pretty funny ngl xD and yikes for makima, idk anything about her tbh but if it's major spoilers i assume it's important to the story,, and yeah not liking her as a person is p understandable :'))

you've mentioned you read spyxfam and kimi ni koisuru satsujinki(found out the english trans is something like 'Killer In Love')? could I ask what you like about those? any scenes stuck out to you? liked and disliked chars maybe? YAYAYAYA the certified best way to watch it is to watch part 1 & 2 (phantom blood + battle tendency in the same like period of time?? like dont take a break after phantom blood ends (by break i mean stop watching for a month) then you watch 3, 4, then the rohan kishibe ova's. if ur in it for the fact its jojo id say to watch the anime ova version, then to watch the live action one later whenever you feel like it- its jojo but not art so it doesnt really pack that exact same punch after the ovas you watch part 5 and then 6 the one thing i'll say about jojo (other than every other thing ive said :D) is that araki does not give a fuck he WILL kill the characters you love and he will NOT feel sorry even the main character isnt safe i honestly would not reccommend reading past part 6's manga because part 7, 8 and 9? havent been animated yet the mangas just good to read because its the original you feel araki's like self in it (more) or whatever

we both understood the plot really well jojo can be confusing, but.. almost... everything is eventually cleared up and its great also ,. the FORESHADOWING in this series is unreal. it does not exist thats how crazy it is /j

i still enjoyed stone ocean aswell i knew what happened but it still was like "w w o w that just happened" also it was the first time id seen cgi used in anime and it was super cool

the using song names for abilities stuff is like, really reoccuring i think almost every power after part 2 has some musical/tarot connection theres a lot more obvious (?) examples of this like "man in the mirror" named after the michael jackson song, or notorious b.i.g, or the one named metallica depending on the kind of music you like its more easier to pick up on the references

kira is VERY plot relevant. so plot relavant i insist you do not search him up at all it might be hard cuz ive been gassing him up but once you get there youll see why part 1/2 are different for a big reason which will become immediately clear 10 minutes into part 3 for that reason a lot of people say to skip the first two parts when starting but i just say No....? like. theyre plot relevant, they set the stage, and they bring in joseph and jonathan!!!! those guys are amazing and telling people to skip those part because what? cause its not like the rest is such a slap in the face them not being the same is the point!! part 1 and 2 are set way back like way back like with cowboys so theyre not going to have the stuff/ thing that made part 3 forward different because they just werent there technology wise!!! part 1 is such a charming part because jonathan is literally such a sweet heart like SUCH a sweetheart and part 2 is brought together by joseph and these other 2 characters (spoilers) plus part 1 is literally the most important season ever. i wont say why but. it is. season 3 only works because of the stuff it takes from 1 and 2, literally in show or just in like writing or art (as in the people from part 1 and 2, and the way the storys work) I AM RAMBLING.

uhhh rohans coloring switches and all or the big color changes like

that ^ aren't always cause of big scenes (though that one kinda is) thats whats cool about it though?!?!?!

honestly i think rohan started as a self insert but just became araki's favorite character which is so fun because its like no way a side-ish character got his own ova AND live action version hes just him (on the topic of the live action rohan ova--- i am SO glad they didnt make him. irl anime. becuz like whats the point then just watch the anime hes honestly just real rohan and its great they didnt make the actor dye his hair neon green or anything)

the devils in csm are super cool i love the designs cuz theyre. they re all so unique :DD i dont recall which but one of them really reminded me of like the collosal titan from aot (which is another show i really like) uhh you should def not search up ANYTHING having to with aot also like jojo its a series i watched with my brother :D he'd already watched it but he wanted to show it to me ANYWHP denji reminds me of joseph from jojo humor wise sorta. like ever so slightly (i kinda like denji more cuz hes just he makes me do that little throat laugh where you make no sound but you did definitely laugh

about sxf and killer in love it seems well ill staft with spy family but i love it because . found family is one of my favorite tropes ever ALSO LOID AND ANYA/ ANYA AND YOR'S RELATIONSHIPS R SO SWEET i have never awwed over fictional characters like i awwed over everyone in spy family

i jus love how sweet it is. killer in love though i love for.... sorta the opposite reason i first liked it because the way the mc felt about this girl was just. really the same as how i feel about this.... one girl... ive mentioned her before i think so flatout i like it cuz i related to the mc but BUT hes kinda a serial murderer which is why i have to ask you to take everything i say with a grain of salt he is one flawed mc. like hes fucked actually hes mental but like.... i get it.... like i reread it and the entire time i was like yeah you do you bro i get it. ALSO ITS GENUINELY SO GREAT WRITING WISE AND VISUALLY it has no right being as pretty as it is visually like i censored the words cuz theyre spoilers but

idk if itd register but he was ALWAYSS my layouts until really recently usually him and this one scene where he's holding a knife as the banner

for spy family i have no characters i hate honestly, but for killer in love i heavily dislike this one boy.

hes just not it if you read it youll see why theres another character like him,you actually meet him wayyy before this guy, and theyre both bad in the same way but the other guy is just so pathetic that i cant hate him. cause like i get it

uhhh i dont really like isekais or fanservice romance animes if its a romance anime and the main character is a brown haired boy, i 9/10 times skip it cuz theyre usually a miss the only isekai ive ever stomached is devil is a part timer and i just couldnt watch season 2 this one isnt particularly a genre but if the female interest looks 15 and has. double d's not that there arent girls built like that but if you cant make good female designs, you probably cant write a good story either (the only exception being one piece- but holy hell i cannot watch it. i know its great but what is. THIS?)

another trope.. well design i hate and throws me off is Thigh Highlights. chest highlights. shoulder highlights. this one more applys to artists than anime honestly but 9 times out of ten if someone does little white highlights on their big breasted teenage looking characters chest they probably like little kids i have to say it 9/10 times they love children thats just how it is second i notice the shading like that i just cant trust them

also i dont mind how long it got dwdw im super glad you send these cause it always has me rethinking on stuff i like and forming newer opinions really :))

A Witch & A Hick, Chp. 3

Little Secret

This chapter is just the two learning about each other and car problems lol.

Also warning for Elizabeth offering sex as payment lol, it doesn't happen. Also I do hc Lester living in a trailer bc its extremely common and realistic tbh.

Lester puts the truck in drive and looks at Elizabeth as he presses the brake,

"I remember you said there's a town nearby, any chance we can go there to fix up my van?" Elizabeth asks as she pets the two dogs,

"No need, they'll charge ya criminal prices. I can fix it." Criminal prices, he repeats in his head.

"Oh come on, you've already done so much." Elizabeth says her face soft,

"I insist! I can't just let them uh take ya money when I can fix it for free." He smiles and Elizabeth mirrors it. Lester gives from the brakes and drives towards his home,

"I have a feeling there's something...more behind this." Lester gulps,

"What made ya think that?" Lester nervously laughs and his hands tighten around the wheel,

"That's how most men are, expect a favor for a favor. Though they often expect ya know." Lester blinks and cringes,

"Aw that! I wasn't thinking anything like that, hell I wasn't even thinking about you doing anything."

"I mean I'll do it." His eyes widen and he stops the truck again,

"What?" He blushes and looks at the girl,

"I'll get you off, I've done it before."

"No no! I have to decline, I just ain't that kinda man." Lester nods to the woman who shrugs, he lied. He is that kinda man, he's had victims beg for safety with offers of sex. He always took it, but let's the girls fall back in the hands of his brothers.

"Not that I don't find ya pretty!" He defends quickly and Elizabeth laughs,

"You're real purdy, I just. I just can't." He sighs and Elizabeth notices how tense he is.

"Thanks, for calling me pretty." She smiles,

"I think you're real pretty too." She compliments Lester who blushes again, Lester has never talked to a stranger this long. Never had a girl call him pretty, never met her.

"Ya just sayin that cuz I'm given ya a ride." Lester chuckles and Elizabeth shakes her head,

"Nope," she pops her P,

"Everybody's beautiful in they're own way, just as nature intended." Lester blinks and remembers her van, the witchy collection in it.

"Oh right, you're a witch!" Lester exclaims and Elizabeth nods,

"How'd you know?" She teased and Lester laughs,

"How'd you even get in all that junk anyways?" Lester asks and flicks his hat,

"It ain't junk. Don't be rude," Elizabeth smirks and Lester nods his head, Jonesey puts her head on Lester's lap. He pets the dogs head.

"Sorry but, how did you ya know..start?"

"My sister got me my tarot cards, she really showed me the basics of witchcraft. Our parents didn't really care all that much but never let us do it in the house. Guess that's why I moved out so early too." Elizabeth laughs,

Lester pulls up towards a driveway of a trailer.

The trailer is a once white single wide, covered in vines and ivy. Bones hung from the porch ceiling,

Elizabeth notices his front door was wide open, and in the yard were scatters of trash, car parts, bones and more. The windows were open but blinds were keeping the inside blocked.

It looks like nobody lives there, as stray cats scurried under the trailer and hissed at each other.

"I'll be quick, I'll just unload your van and fix her right up in a jiffy." Lester smiles at the girl and gets out of the truck, Jonesey follows and Mac follows after her.

Elizabeth smiles as she watches the two dogs sniff around and play, getting out of the truck her barefeet sink into the grass and dirt. She stretches, the truck wasn't entirely comfortable with Mac siting right on her.

"Sorry for the mess, I don't really have guests." Lester says as he unhooks the van,

"Its fine, I've seen much worse."

"Nah, doubt it." Lester shakes his head and wipes his hands on his jeans, Elizabeth takes note of the depreciation joke he says.

As Lester pops her hood and smoke rises from it, Elizabeth frowns.

"That happened before?" Lester asks as he waves the smoke off, Elizabeth nods.

"Yeah, I've had a couple engine problems. Mainly because of oil, but my light wasn't even on."

"Yup, cars will do that. Just spring a problem on ya right as ya were doing fine." Lester grazes his hand over the engine and instantly finds the problem,

"When's the last time ya changed the cooling fan?"

"Never."

"Cleaned it?"

"Never." Lester sighs and Elizabeth frowns,

"That bad?" He nods,

"Your engine is busted, you're gonna need a new one."

"Nooooo." Elizabeth groans

"Hey its okay, this happens all the time. It's just an accident." Lester tries to comfort the girl, she squats and hides in her knees.

"Hey now," Lester gets on his knee and pats the girls back.

"We can maybe order one from the next town over, but it'll take a while for it to come in since we're basically in the middle of no where." Lester then sits with the girl and he blinks when he hears a sob come from her.

"Jeez darlin, it ain't anything to cry about." He says and Elizabeth looks up, her makeup more runny than before,

"This is my karma! I know it is and- and I shouldn't be cryin-ing but-" she hides her face again and Lester stutters,

"Aw no no, this ain't karma just an accident. Honest."

He isn't entirely sure what else to do, seen plenty of girls cry in Ambrose. Ain't none of them cried like this.

Crying about karma, hell if karma was real he'd be dead, he thinks and shakes his head. He gently pats the girls back as she sobs. The two dogs show up and sit around the two Mac places his head on the girls back. Pushing Lester's hand away, Elizabeth quickly hugs her dog.

After a couple minutes, her sobs stop and she looks up.

"Im sorry Lester, I just. It's just been a lot today," she says and wipes her eyes, smudging her makeup.

"Wanna talk about it?" Lester ask and Elizabeth looks around, noticing the sun is starting to set.

"No, not right now. I'm just tired now, sorry for bothering you with my emotions and junk."

"Ain't no bother at all, I'm happy to help." She shows a smile from his words as he stands, he puts his hand out and she takes it to stand.

"I know, and thanks again. Do you think it's alright if my van stays the night? I'll try to go to another town in the morning and order an engine. I'll find a motel too." She says, trying to clean her face up from tears and makeup.

Lester raises a brow, and Elizabeth shakes her head already knowing he'll offer his home.

"Lester please you've already done so much for me! I promise that by tomorrow I'll be out of your hair." She says and Lester shakes his head,

"Darlin, How about we both go into town order you an engine and when it gets here I can put it in. If you think I'm letting you sleep in that hot van for the night you're dead wrong." Lester stands up straight and crosses his arms, Elizabeth actually has to look up to see his face.

"I've got a spare room, it's messy and mainly holds all my junk but it's got a bed, a desk and a closet." Lester says and Elizabeth takes a deep breathe,

"Thank you," she says and Lester uncrosses his arms,

"I mean it, without you I'd probably be kidnapped by some crazy guy. Unless you are the crazy guy." She jokes and Lester nervously laughs.

"I like to call myself unqiue." Lester jokes and Elizabeth laughs,

"That you are friend, that you are." Elizabeth says and watches as the sun falls behind the trees.

After grabbing her needed things from the van, the two walk towards the trailer.

The two walk onto the wooden porch, Elizabeth's hands grazing the bones hanging above,

"Those are my people repellents, makes hikers skedaddle." Lester jokes and Elizabeth smiles,

"They're beautiful," she compliments and Lester walks through the open door,

"Yup, they sure are. I uh, I keep my door open so the strays can come in and relax and get away from the heat." He says and flicks on a light, it blinks a few times but turns on.

The two are standing in the living room, the couches covered in fur and scratches. Clothes are all around and clean and unclean bones sit on the coffee table.

But the recliner is free of fur, just a flannel on the back.

Lester notices his playboy magazine on the coffee table and quickly snatches up the magazine, Rolling it up he laughs embarrassingly.

"Sorry about that, again not often I get guests." Elizabeth smiles and shakes her head. From behind the two, Mac and Jonesey come running in. They jump on the couch and sit next to each other.

"My house is there house." Lester pets Jonesy's head and smiles, putting the magazine behind the couch during this. He turns to face Elizabeth whose staring at the bones,

"I'll show you to ya room," Lester walks to the right and opens a bedroom door,

The bedroom filled with bones in boxes, books, clothes and random knick knacks. He quickly lifts boxes from the bed and pats the dust off.

"My casa your casa." He smiles and Elizabeth places her stuff down, Lester stands in the doorway now.

"Thanks again, Lester. I really appreciate it." Elizabeth puts her hand out and Lester looks down at it. It's so small, he gently grabs it and Elizabeth grabs one of the bracelets on her wrist. She brings it over her hand and onto his,

"I can't not give you a gift." She says and lets him go, Lester looks down at the bracelet. A whole set of animal teeth with beads in between.

"I- thank you. It's so purdy." He says and continues,

"You're a real uh...what's it called?"

"Freak?" He quickly shakes his head, and takes her hand again. Putting their wrists together with the bracelets,

"Unique," he smiles, "You're a real unique girl."

"Is it because I mess with bones and junk?"

"Well that, and because you're real nice." Elizabeth smiles,

"You're just as unique as me Lester." She says and the two look at each other for a second, wanting this conversation not to end but not sure how to continue.

Suddenly from behind Lester, Mac barks.

Elizabeth laughs,

"It's past his bedtime, sorry he gets cranky when he's not in bed by this time." Lester let's the dog run past him and onto the bed,

"Well, goodnight, um. Sleep tight?"

"You too Lester." Elizabeth quietly shuts her door and Lester stares at the closed door. Jonesy whines from behind him,

Lester turns to the dog and squats, he pets the dogs cheeks and smiles.

"She'll be our little secret, right Jonesey?" The dog licks his face.

I've only got the first issue of batman who laughs and I haven't read up to that part yet in dark nights but he is so awesome!!! I wanna get the rest of batman who laughs and then dark nights heavy metal after I finish but my ass is broke so we'll see hahaa (there's a freakin soundtrack for dark nights overall I don't really like it but they got me with Maria brink I like the two songs she's on and the red death song cuz the red death batman is woah, although the lyrics make more sense once you've read the comics buutt they should totally make metal animated movies and use the soundtrack)

I haven't read anything with Tim and from what I've seen in comic panels of him on tumblr is that he is a disaster lol I'm pretty sure there was a panel of him straight up eating food (pizza? I think?) out of a dumpster in an alley boyyy no

I haven't read any DCeased yet but I'll defo get around to that at some point it looks pretty cool

Ohhh shit I'm gonna have to rewatch titans I think I'll watch one episode tomorrow cuz I dunno if they're releasing all the episodes at once or weekly or however and I wanna watch them all at once but I'll watch the first new episode cuz I know I won't be able to resist, poor jason it's not fair 😢 with the age they made bruce they could have included all his kids tbh like we could have talia and damian I know it's titans not a batfam show but I can't help but want talia and damian! (I'm stuck between wanting to marry talia and raising damian with her or marry dick and helping him raise damian 😅 I think dick would be the safer option cuz that'd keep the freakin league of assassins away from me but then again TALIA, why must I get this attached to people who aren't even real)

You should go to your local library's website and see if they are connected/have hoopla! It's this awesome app that partners with libraries and basically let's you rent online books and comics for free!(they have TONS of batman graphic novels!!!) Unfortunately your library puts a limit on how many you can borrow a month (mine is 8) but still, free legal comics!(that's the main way I've been reading comics! Tho I did go to a comic hook store while in nyc the other day and got some Bat graphic novels and a new one where I saw Damian doing casual rock yoga with Ra's and like needed it obviously xD ), another way is the app/website DC Infinite, it is a per month subscription but compared to buying comics individually it is really worth it!(I also just got that cause Hoopla didnt have the Red Robin series or this one Jason todd series haha)

Omg they made a soundtrack for it?! I need to check that out! Well I should probs read it first tbh xD but yes omg they NEED to make an animated movie of it! Tho they already went so hard with Justice League Dark Apokolips War, I'm worried they wont wanna do another one so dark so soon🤔 but they really need to! It would make such a good movie omg

Omg I def reccomend Tim one, he is SUCH a relatable disaster omg, I love him so much xD like his narration for the Red Robin comics literally says stuff like "Can you please find my common sense? I seem to have misplaced it" and "except for everything I'm perfectly fine", like he is the most relatable xD

Okay so I wouldn't mind/really want them to make a spin off of Titans of the Bat world and bring in damian and stuff cause they made this bat universe so dang interesting and the cast is great and gah. But also just have Gar in it cause he is my other fav xD

And yas! I have no idea if they are releasing them all at once or not!!! I kinda like having something to look forward to each week tho tbh!

Bro this season is gonna kill me if I'm already crying rewatching the scene where jason almost comits suicide omg. Oh man, you can see the build up to all the red hood feels and the direction they might take it with these dif scenarios.

Lmao I love it and the chaotic vibes you give so much 😂 but bro, I feel you about getting annoyingly attached to fictional character omg xD they make them way too interesting and attractive in fiction lmao. Lately im always switching between the 3 older batboys of who I'm obsessing over at the moment xD (right now its tim but I think it's about to switch to jason again after titans )
