Got My Heart On Your Hand
“Can you draw it?” The morning sun shines through the kitchen window. Wille looks up at Simon with puppy dog eyes, a black marker in his hand.
“Please?” Simon eyes the millions of hearts Wille has already drawn on the paper for practice.
“You know the artist needs to have it on transferable paper right? You don’t need to have the drawing on your skin beforehand. Actually, having sharpie on your hand right before going in isn’t going to be good for the tattoo.”
“I just want to know what it looks like, you know… to make sure it’s in the right place.”
“And you think drawing it on with permanent marker an hour before you get the tattoo is going to help decide that?”
Wille decides to finally get a tattoo, and enlists Simon’s help. Little does he know, Simon has a little surprise of his own.
Or: boyfriends who get tattoos together stay together <3
Hiya! I wrote this silly little fic last week, in the wait between episode 5 and 6 because fluff was necessary (even though I never wavered in my endgame believe, that last scene of episode 5 ruined me lol)
Dedicated to the best Wilmon Endgame Truther/Partner in Crime @bigalockwood for helping me keep somewhat sane this past week 💜
Enjoy!
CW: contains minor s3 spoilers
Rated G, 2.6k words, Tooth-Rotting Fluff.

cheer crisis averted (fluffy snippet)
steve x chrissy | fluffy snippet <1k | chrissy getting ready for cheer
“Steve!” Chrissy whines from his bathroom.
He rushes to the door, careful to knock at least half a dozen times to be safe. “You okay?”
Behind the door, there’s an exasperated sigh and shuffling sounds on the granite counter that Steve guesses is all her “getting ready” supplies she talked about earlier being scattered around.
“Just come in, I’m in cheer crisis mode!”
With a deep breath, he slowly swings open the paneled door to Chrissy already dressed in her uniform—emerald and yellow orange skirt and sweater— definitely ironed for crisp edges. The counter displays an array of scrunchies and various brushes that he can only assume are for the bins of makeup on the right side of the sink.
Chrissy turns from the mirror, her hands still tugging at the tight ponytail on top the crown of her head.
“What’s wrong, it looks like you have everything together?” He glances over her figure once more. “You look pretty—uh, for the game.”
With a vigorous shake of her head no, she grabs the rogue can of aerosol hairspray. “Look!”
She presses hard down on the nozzle, pointing the can over the sink as part of her demonstration. It sputters nothing, but a whistle of compressed air past the fancy curved faucet. Her eyes wrinkle in distress. “This is a disaster of cheerleader proportions. My hair needs to hold when I’m tossed up for stunts!”
Steve eyes the can again, thumbing his bottom lip in thought as he reads the label. His head hangs back with an attitude. “Do you really need it?”
She keeps pressing the button until not even air seeps out the little pinhole at the top. She groans, “Deirdre is gonna kill me for being unprepared again.”
The petite cheerleader starts to pace back and forth in front of the mirror, biting the edge of her nails. Steve steps in, blocking the permanent line she’s trying to carve into the tile in an attempt to calm her down. “Chriss, you gotta relax. I can..I actually can help.”
She nibbles at her last fingernail with wide eyes. Before she can ask, he leans down to the cabinet below the sink, pulling at the looped handle. He digs around the back for a moment until seemingly satisfied with his search.
A matching can to hers rests in his palm as he pops back up to her level. She snatches the can right from his hand without hesitation and raises the old can in the other hand in disbelief.
“Oh my God, you have my brand!”
She wastes no time unloading a full 30 seconds worth of spray over her hair, carefully touching up her flyaways and spending extra time around the dark green scrunchie holding it all together. With the final puff across her bangs, Chrissy shakes the can to make sure she didn’t use it all up.
Steve winces slightly at her, softening a bit when she smiles up at him with those big stormy eyes. “There’s still some left in here, you’ll have to thank your mom for me. But you saved my life, you have no idea!”
“It’s…uh, no big deal, really.” His hand scratches at the back of his head with a funny twist to his mouth. “It’s actually my–um– I use that spray on my hair, so use as much as you need.”
Chrissy’s proverbial jaw seems to drop to the floor. “Steve Harrington uses Farrah Fawcett spray?” With a quick bite to her bottom lip to hide back a smirk, she glances back up to his hair.
On her tiptoes, she starts to finger through his hair with glee. “It all makes sense now! Look at this volume! Can you do this to my hair for the team party?”
Steve can’t stop staring at her dimples, the simple joy in her smile as she teases him and teases through the curls of his hair. He playfully swats her hands away and points back to the mirror. “Oh come on, Miss Cheerleader, next time I’ll let you flounder without my rescue.”
“You could never— I know you well enough now.” Her happiness crinkles the corners of her eyes as she looks at him from the mirror’s reflection. She finishes the final touches to her lip gloss. And he leans into a sturdy stance with both hands gripping the side of his hip bones, but in his eyes, he looks at her just the way she wants him to. “You like to rescue people, you’re like Hawkins’ secret hero.”
Steve rolls his eyes, picking up the can with Farrah's face plastered on it as a distraction of something other than the way Chrissy's lips look so full right now as she pouts at him. He crosses his arms to lean against the door frame.
“Maybe I just like rescuing you, Blondie.”

luthen, andor, and rogue one
The doom has finally come upon me, I care about a piece of Star Wars media (everyone who’s here for Stranger/SF, forgive me and avert your eyes from the spectacle that’s about to follow, unless you too share my obsession with the above topics)
We have to wait until 2024 apparently so please excuse me while I scream into the void about LUTHEN in the context of Rogue One -
- or more specifically his ghost, how Cassian becomes for Jyn Erso what Luthen is right now for him, because I’m obsessed. (Forgive any minor inaccuracies as, as I say, I have never really paid attention to Star Wars much before now, other than when Rogue One initially came out.)
We know that by the end of Andor S2, everything will have to have gone to absolute hell for the Rebellion and specifically Mon Mothma, who is forced to go fully into hiding with the Rebellion, and Saw Gerrera, who is badly injured and breaks away from the mainline Rebellion. There are apparently canonical reasons for that that are way too far over my head right now, but what interests me is that Luthen Rael, “Axis,” the master of the Rebellion’s spy network, one of its key strategists and financiers, who brought in the man who helps to ultimately secure the Death Star plans and turn the tide of war, is gone by the time we make it to Rogue One/the end of Andor. I can only assume, based on the foreshadowing we’ve seen so far, that he’s dead (more on that later).
Now enter Jyn in Rogue One. Like Cassian at the start of Andor S1, the Empire has separated her from her family. She too has been in the Empire’s prisons and what appear to be some kind of labor/mining camps. She’s been a child soldier, like Cassian in “the mud at Mimban.” She’s still hoping to be reunited with her father, just as Cassian is looking for his sister. She’s so beaten down that at this point, all she cares about survival, not rebellion. Sound familiar? And just as Luthen does for him in Andor S1, Cassian is the one who encourages her to take this war seriously, “to fight these bastards for real.” He becomes her handler, as Luthen is his, and works with her as she discovers her own reasons for wanting to fight the Empire.
And Cassian, from the first moment we see him in Rogue One, is the one making all of the horrible, messy, secret choices and sacrifices necessary to keep the rebellion going - killing his injured comrade rather than letting him be captured, using Jyn to get him to her father so that he can (unbeknownst to her) take him out. The kind of vicious, tragic decisions that Luthen had to make, or felt he had to - his “I’m damned for what I do,” Cassian’s “We’ve all done things we’re not proud of in the name of this rebellion.” Cassian knows about and has some kind of precarious dealings with Saw Gerrera - who was Luthen’s contact, as well as Jyn’s guardian, and now Luthen is gone. And as many people have already pointed out, Cassian and Jyn end up dying in the very goddamn poetic sunrise Luthen said he burns his own life for, and will never see. ARGH
In closing, a few theories on what might have happened to Luthen based on what we’ve seen so far, because I live for the angst and GOD I NEED TO KNOW:
1) Mon Mothma betrays Luthen to the Empire for some reason in the name of the greater good of the Rebellion, cementing what we already saw at the end of S1 re: her daughter – she’s beginning to take initiative in making ugly sacrifices for the cause.
2) Luthen dies for Cassian in some way, whether that’s protecting him or allowing Cassian to kill him, cementing his growing sentimentalism/that he’s tired of hiding and sacrificing love and connection, and wants to be a more humane person – to make the Rebellion more humane.
3) Luthen dies in some kind of fallout with Saw Gerrera, cementing the tensions there and the break with the main Rebellion. (Also, if this is not the case – the fact that Saw outlives Luthen is so ironic given what we know about them so far, how isolated Saw is and how central and well-connected Luthen is, and I wonder if that influenced Saw’s decision to leave the Rebellion. That would especially be true if Mon Mothma or someone else sold out Luthen.)
4) I doubt it, but Luthen betrays the cause because he’s tired of sacrifice, and either disappears or gets taken out by Mon Mothma, Cinta, etc., or Cassian (also would cement Cassian’s growing coldness and allegiance to the cause that we see in Rogue One, when he kills his own injured operative).
He could also just die in some tragic random way, which wouldn’t fulfill a narrative arc but would speak to the cost of war, and how even the greatest among the great can be brought down by chance, by a single cog in the machine, even by someone who’s just scared or following orders or unaware of what they’re doing. The show certainly has killed off a lot of its compelling characters quickly so far. There’s also potential for the arrestor cruiser incident to come back to bite him, because that was extraordinarily close and showy by Luthen’s standards, but that seems like too much of a stretch.
Anyways, I CAN’T BELIEVE I JUST WROTE 900 WORDS ON THIS and am so mad we won’t have closure until end of 2024, ow.
