#idk when or why I particularly had that as my url#but it's iconic so good#the silver chair my beloved … best tcon book dont @ me#actually it's debateable cause they're ALL so fantastic in their own way#but the scene when Rilian is tied in the chair and begging to be set free … unmatched#we had the radio theatre of tcon growing up and I'd listen all the time (I still have them!)#and the voice acting is absolutely unparalleled#if anyone loves audiobooks or tcon or whatever I'd highly check recommend to it out!!!

what does your URL mean, and why did you choose it? what genre do you primarily favour? what are you top five universes to RP within? what universe have you never even considered writing in, and why?
My URL is (loosely) based on lyrics from Florence & The Machine's song "Daffodil", especially the line "made myself mythical, tried to be real." I sorta spun that one around in my head, came up with realmyths, saw it wasn't taken and voila! LOL I chose it because I think the line (and the URL) fit the majority of my muses, in that, even though so many of them are larger than life (mythical, sometimes literally) they do their best to remain as down to earth as possible (real). At least, that's how it fits my view of my muses. It also works in that they are (within their own canons) living, breathing mythical/larger than life beings. So it sorta has that meaning as well.
I tend to favor sci-fi/fantasy/modern fantasy, as you can probably tell from my muse selections lol. But I do love a good mystery and historical fiction/period drama now and then.
Top 5 universes to RP within: 1. fandomless fantasy/sci-fi-I feel like it's interesting to have characters who are mythical/immortal beings interacting with everyday people, or other supernatural beings. It's just something I have loads of fun with. 2. Doctor Who - I feel like the nature of the show means there are so many possibilities for threads. Obviously I currently have the 13th and Redacted Doctors, though I'm also planning on giving Persephone (and probably other muses of mine as well) a Doctor Who verse where she's a companion. IDK why but that's long been a dream of mine. I just need someone's Doctor muse to volunteer lol. I also plan on adding more Doctor Who canons and maybe an OC? I just love the show and the world created within it. 3. Bridgerton - What can I say? I love a good period drama. And Bridgerton has tons more diversity than the average period drama. I love all the muses I have from the show and might add some OCs or more canons in the future. 4. The Witcher- shoutout to @okruchlodu because I adore our Yen & Ciri threads. Overall, I really enjoy RPing all of my Witcher muses. And feel the world is an intriguing one. 5. GOT/ASOIAF - What can I say? I love Daenerys & Arya, especially in the books. And I love bringing them to life within that world. So I had to mention it, even though I don't have as many threads going as I'd like to lol. Honorable mention goes to Arcane, and a shoutout to @ferinehuntress, @shimmerbeasts, @jynxd for being lovely lovely humans and keeping my Arcane muses, particularly Vi, active. I do truly love the world of the show, and while I am not yet as immersed in it as the others mentioned above (s2 where are you? I feel like once it comes I'll get a ton of muse lol) , I still feel connected to it and that's in large part due to our threads. So thank you <3
What universes have I never considered writing in? Hmmmm...probably fandom-wise, Stranger Things & Supernatural because I tried to get into ST twice, and failed. And as for supernatural, I once watched all of s1 & half of s2 and bailed. So I'm just not super into either show. That said, I wouldn't say no to RPing with muses in those fandoms, because I believe in the creativity and ingenuity of the RPC and that muns here could bring their characters to life super well and make me interested. So...yeah. As far as fandomless/general settings go, anything that's super normal is a no go for me. I feel like I struggle to make threads (and writing in general really) interesting when all that's happening is....regular life, you know? Like a thread where no one's supernatural, no sci-fi shenanigans, no mystery, we're not in the past, etc. would just not work for me, because I'd struggle to keep it interesting for both me and my RP partner. So there are no coffee-shop AUs in my future lol. Though I never say never. hahah.

i don’t know anything about resevil but there are multiple right?? which one was your favourite and why
oh yeah there r like dozens of games. my fav is re7 ^ thats what the url means bc its tagline is biohazard and it came out in 2017 yada yada idk i just reallly love it. firstly the atmosphere is really good, i have had the game for like.. 3 years atp and yet im not even halfwaythrough bc it fries all my braincells its so scary im so tense when im playing i literally break out into goosebumps its crazy.
ethan winters is one of my fav protags in any game ever. guy who drove from la to louisiana to look for his wife that disappeared 3 whole years ago and his only reaction to the most gory shit is just to let out a "FUCK" the progression of the genuine fear at the beginning to his final oneliner just being playtimes over?????? (final boss is a kid) first person games r designed w a blank slate protag in mind so the player can embody them as much as possible but ethan is great bc u feel his progression as much as ur own. u feel the excitement and the adrenaline after the first jack fight. u feel as exasperated as he does after the second one. u feel as powerful as he does in the final gauntlet before the final boss. its so great i love ethan so much<3
re7 would not b the game it is w/o the bakers though. theyre SO good. the majority of them serve as the boss of each segment of the game, except for zoe and joe. jack is the regular stalker enemy type (follows and tracks you through the house) but his va is having SO much fun. there is so much emotion right behind jacks insanity. theres a bit at the beginning where u can trigger jack to cut off ur leg and instead of continuing to kill u, he'll stop and pull out some first aid med and let u reattach your leg (everyone infected has really high regenerative properties but u dont learn ethans infected til re8) hes like cmon son:) u can do it:) its crazy to me like theyre still human underneath the 3 years of torture and manipulation like T_T margarite is like a bug boss and lucas does saw traps. zoe is the only one of the immediate family who wasnt fully turned into evies control (the final boss kid shes the one who infected everyone) and she helps ethan through the game and its so interesting to me bc all evie wants is a family so jack is her dad and mia (ethans wife) is her mom and zoe and lucas r her siblings and when ethan gets to the house she wants ethan to be her father instead which is why jack hates you so its like this father and daughter tearing away evies family which is fun bc in re8 ethan does everything he does for his daughter so<3 foreshadowing<3 joe is not particularly impt bc hes just a dlc character so hes the mc for this 4hr game set after the game hes jacks brother. ugh while walking into the final boss fight u see this diorama a kid zoe made of her family and you know everyone is dead except jack who also serves as the final boss and when joe kills him he says this is a farewell from the family, brother. and its gory and fun but afterwards when zoe wakes up (bc of things that happened to her jack was trying to get her) joe tells her that despite everything jack was still her father and its like Augh. this game. tjis game

A/N: Idk if this is good, but I wanted to write it so bad, so I did it because I can:

Title: Puzzles

Sophie woke to the warmth of Gideon’s body and the crackling of the fire in the hearth. She could also hear the children, speaking in hushed tones and giggles. Cracking open an eye, she saw that they were currently sitting side-by-side by the coffee table, their backs facing her. Her left arm was resting on Gideon’s chest, and it rose and fell with his steady breathing.
She realized that their legs were tangled together under the thick blanket that she could only assume their children had placed over them. She closed her eyes and took a blissful stretch before resting her temple on her husband’s shoulder. He was still asleep, emitting soft snores that she felt in her belly.
They had been patrolling all night, and had barely gotten any sleep before their children woke them up again, ready to begin the day. Sophie and Gideon lasted until midday before they must have fallen asleep. The fact that they’d managed to stay awake that long surprised Sophie.
She wiggled her toes a little bit and adjusted herself, so that she could stretch the leg that was thrown over Gideon’s hips. His hand was warm on the small of her back, and she didn’t want to accidentally shift in such a way that would cause it to slip off her. Therefore, each movement was minuscule and delicate.
Gideon’s breath stirred the smallest tendrils of her hair. She looked up at him, brushing a lock of hair away from his forehead. She loved him very much. So much so, she often surprised herself, as she had never thought she could ever love someone again, after what had happened to her all those years ago. She kissed his jawline and put her ear to his chest, feeling his steady heartbeat against her cheek.
It was times such as these that she felt as if the world stopped at her fingertips; like no matter what happened, she would be fine, as long as she were here, with Gideon by her side and their children near.
She heard Gideon grunt softly, as he always did before he woke up, before slowly opening his eyes. He blinked a little, his dazed eyes slowly roaming the room, and closed them once more. He turned to where she was, resting the tip of his nose against her forehead.
“Good morning,” he muttered, his voice an octave deeper than usual and thick with sleep.
“Evening is more like it,” she replied, reaching up to stroke his impossibly soft hair.
She felt Gideon’s muscles shift as he stretched them, the hand he had on her waist tensing briefly as he did so.
Finally, Gideon let out a breath through his nose and said, “that was the greatest sleep I’ve ever had in my entire life.”
Sophie chuckled softly. “I would have thought the best sleep of your life would have been on our wedding night.”
Gideon opened his eyes and smiled, “we didn’t do much sleeping that night, though, did we?”
Sophie nudged him with her elbow. “Why is it that you’re only like this around me? You act diplomatically and mature to everybody, and yet you say the most scandalous things when it is just us.”
Gideon pressed a soft and lasting kiss on her lips. He then brought his lips close to her ear and muttered, “I’m not trying to woo everybody else,” before kissing the spot where her jawline began.
Sophie’s eyes shuttered closed, Gideon’s warm breath sending shivers down her spine, but she turned her face away from him and nodded in the direction of their children. “We should spare them the sight of their parents kissing.”
Gideon turned to where they were huddled around the puzzle. Sophie resisted the urge to turn his face towards her and kiss him regardless.
He looks back at her soon enough, his sea green eyes bright in the soft light the fire emitted.
“They’re not paying attention.” He said, brushing a strand of her hair away from her face with his knuckle. “They have their backs to us.”
“They could turn around at any second and begin shrieking, like two of them did last time.” Sophie said.
It was no mystery to anybody who the two that had done said shrieking were.
Gideon presses his lips together at the memory of that before raising his eyebrows and smirking.
“What’s that smirk all about?” Sophie asked.
Before Sophie could so much as to guess what it could be about, Gideon turned on his side and lifted the thick blanket so that it shielded them from the children.
“How is this?” He asked, kissing her nose.
Sophie huffed out a laugh. “It’s better, I suppose. At least this way, our eardrums will remain intact.”
“Hallelujah.” Gideon said, flashing her a dazzling smile, that made her insides melt. She put both of her hands on either side of his face and lowered his lips towards her own. They kissed softly, unrushed and lavishingly so.
Gideon was so warm. His body seemed to emit heat when he slept, which meant that right now, his skin was hot enough that it felt as though Sophie were standing right in front of a furnace. It ended up working in their favor, because whenever Thomas gets too cold at night, they plant him next to Gideon and he’s able to fall asleep. They’re absolutely adorable when they sleep together, if Sophie does say so herself.
Sophie giggled against his lips, causing them to break apart.
“What?” Gideon asked, his smile soft as he kissed the corners of her lips.
“I just thought about something silly.” She said, spreading her hands on his chest and roaming upward, intertwining them at the nape of his neck.
“Would you care to elaborate?”
Sophie shook her head giggling.
“Come now,” he said, playfully, “I’m dying of curiosity.”
“Alright. I was thinking about the time you slipped off the roof while we were patrolling in London.”
Gideon laughed through his nose, burying his nose in a particularly sensitive spot of her neck. “I’m never living that down, aren’t I?”
Sophie shrugged her left shoulder and kissed Gideon’s bottom lip when he lifted his head.
“Not a chance.”
His eyes fluttered shut as he kissed her shamelessly, his hands sending shivers through her as they travelled up and down the sensitive skin of her waist and hips.
“We should stop,” Gideon said, breaking apart. “Before they realize we’re awake.”
“Yes, I suppose we should.” Sophie said.
They kissed once, twice and then thrice (for good measure) before reemerging from the blanket.
Once they’d gotten over their daze, they arranged themselves in each other's arms, fitting like pieces of a puzzle, and gazed towards their children. They were quiet as they built a puzzle Sophie had left out for them while she and Gideon rested on the couch for a while. They hadn’t expected to fall asleep, but thankfully, the children were still entertained by the puzzle. Barbara had a blanket over her shoulders and had placed little Thomas in her crossed legs, periodically hugging him and adjusting the blanket, so that he didn’t get cold.
Thomas, on the other hand, took every opportunity Barbara was looking away to try to crawl out from the blankets and watch the puzzle-making action.
Eugenia was humming to herself, picking up random pieces and fitting them together. Every time she’d manage to get them to go together, she’d get up and do a little twirl, before sitting down once more and starting the whole process all over again.
Thomas was the first to realize they’d woken up. He gave them a toothy grin and crawled out of Barbara’s arms. Using the table to slowly get to his feet, he padded over to Eugenia.
When he got close enough, however, Sophie reached over Gideon’s chest and scooped him up. She tucked him into her arms and kissed his little cheeks.
“You’ve been caught by the love monster.” She said tickling and attacking him with kisses. Thomas giggled and tried to squirm away from her, but she held on tighter.
Part of her wants to hold Thomas forever. It felt like just yesterday he’d been born, four months and two weeks premature. He was still so small and light in her arms and got sick far too easily, but she thanked the Angel everyday for his life. Her miracle child. Who seemed very keen on getting away.
She stopped peppering him with kisses enough to hold him away so that she could see his face.
“You don’t love the Love Monster?”
He met her stare before putting his hands on her cheeks and kissing her forehead. Sophie
raised her eyebrows at him and when he giggled again, she tucked him in her arms.
“No,” she heard a soft voice say.
She pulled back. “What?”
“I love Mama, not the Love Monster.”
Gideon chuckled and ruffled his hair.
Sophie gave Thomas a final kiss on the forehead and let him go to his sisters.
They watched their children put puzzle pieces together, Eugenia aggressively so, going so far as to slam her fist upon two tricky pieces.
“Mama! Papa! Do you like it?” Eugenia said, gesturing towards the unfinished puzzle.
They both craned their necks to see.
“Oh. Erm…”
“We love it!” Sophie said.
“It’s lovely.” Gideon added.
When the kids turned around again, Sophie covered her mouth.
“There’s not a single puzzle piece that’s connected to its corresponding partner, is there?” Gideon asked.
“No, I’m afraid that in the hours we’ve been asleep, they haven’t managed to piece any together correctly.” Sophie said.
Gideon pressed his lips together and shrugged. “Well…”
“They’ll get more intelligent with age.” Sophie said.
“Yes, yes. I should think so.”
“I should hope so.”
They looked at each other and smiled, and then laughed, perfectly content with the life they had made for themselves.

for a long time my personal brand was the friend that loved glitter vfx and makeup in general, ofc i would go all out and leave trails of glitter everywhere lmao also i like having a url that is recognizable but not fandom affiliated

yes lmao so many but the active ones are only @ellavaday for rpdr stuff, @ccantaloup for cute animal videos food and reminders to be kind to yourself (it is where a lot of... not particularly good stuff used to be documented and instead of deleting it i decided to rebrand it and keep it as a reminder to myself) and @ateneawrites for fic writing (this one's a baby and it's brand new bc i haven't written for fun in a good 6 years, i'm rusty but definitely having fun at least)

SO I FINALLY FINISHED 5D’S! And what better way to celebrate than to go through my favorite characters as…briefly as I can
Slight spoilers I suppose?
Let’s work it up from 10 to 1
10- Jack
Was gonna go with lucchiano but who am I kidding Jack’s great. He’s a drama queen with an even more dramatic wardrobe. Never afraid to express himself and just bluntly blurt out what he thought.
His obsession with Cup ramen is on another level but what can I say? Love is love, Jack x cup ramen for life *wipes tears*
But seriously speaking he’s great. His very first line was enough proof of that. He just… apologized for being late then declared “I AM KING” like the…king he is.
My favorite Rival character still remains Manjoume… and… Yeah I still prefer Kaiba over Jack but damn was he a good rival.
Like he has to be the only Rival so far with an actual past with the Main character, no? That was pretty interesting because usually, the protagonist meets the rival somewhere during the first season and we go off from there. But here we had to go through their backstory to know what their relationship was fully like. Nice touch.
9- Aki
Hands down my favorite female protagonist so far. I adore Anzu and feel neutral enough about Asuka but Aki? NAH MAN AKI’S AMAZING. I think 5D’s just does the best job with its female characters. Like it actually gives them big enough roles. I loved how Aki got her own episodes…be it the D-wheel ones or just… fillers.
Her crush on Yusei was justified, at least it seems so to me, and honestly never got obnoxious. Sure she had a moment here and there but it was honestly never a bad thing. Hell faith shipping in general isn’t exactly a bad Idea.
Speaking of shipping, is anyone going to talk about her little frienshipmaybemore moments with Crow? No? Ok…
But anyway, overall, SHE’S AMAZING AND I LOVE HER. There was more to her than some boring pining love interest and it shows with each episode. So when people say she has a great personality, they’re actually talking about her personality. AKI RULES
8- Mikage
Would’ve been way WAY higher on the list if the thing with Jack was thrown out the widow.
That being said I think she’s the more mature of the Jack-crazy trio. Like sure she was just as into him as the other two, but in some scenes she was a lot more tolerable.
But that honestly might just be my bias towards this amazing woman speaking.
She’s devoted to her work, gentle, caring, gorgeous and just all around a wonderful character to see.
I loved most of her scenes in the series, and the fact that there was more to her than just the jack part. She actually had an important part to play in many episodes and honestly proved herself to be a very fun character. I just wish they gave a her little more screentime than what she got.
A lot of lost potential there- I mean come on.
7- Rua /Lua
He reminds me of Judai WAY too much. LIKE WAAAAY too much not to be on this list. The guy’s adorable. And I love how they made him the emotional one. Like they could’ve gone with the “the boy is always rowdy and tOUGH” stereotype, but they didn’t. Sure, ruka (who I don’t like as much) was much more gentle, but it was much easier to see Rua cry than it was to see her do so. It’s just fun is all.
I also adore his deck and that little theme that played whenever he dueled… Plus his relationship with Jack and Yusei…GOLD GOLD.
6- Ushio
I made a whole post about Him, You think he wouldn’t be in my Top 10? Well think again. Great development would see through again.
5- Sherry Leblanc
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA SHERRY.
What you just witnessed in the line above is my internal reaction to literally any scene this beautiful badass woman happens to be in.
She’s just amazing. She has this really… tough energy IDK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT BUT SHE’S A REALLY INTIMIDATING WOMAN. But not in a bad way, oh nonononono in a REALLY REALLY GOOD WAY OKAY.
Her character arcs and episodes somehow felt…really separate from the whole team 5D’s shenanigans even though they were basically connected…
Like she had her own motivation that didn’t particularly rely on bonds, but was still willing to accept and even form a bond with the whole team.
Revenge is kinda hot ngl.
Okay no it’s not. But seeing a vengeful character that WASN’T played off as evil or particularly wrong amidst a bunch of friendship is magic ones was pretty refreshing.
The moment she took her helmet off when dueling yusei I was HOOKED and so was Aki but shhhhhh.
But damn I love what they did with her at the end, Rushed as it may have been. It took her joining with Z-one briefly and dueling Aki and Crow ( a very underrated duo btw) to realize that maybe thinking of the past and only the past was not a very good idea.
Anyway love her. And her duels are always a delight to watch.
4- Placido
Before he showed up, sherry was supposed to be 4th but here we are. Placido Placido Placido. I want to make it clear that…I really couldn’t care less about Aporia as a whole. But Placido and Lucchiano were pretty fun characters.
Now I finally get to talk about my beloved.
This dude was…the biggest mood. EVER.
He would hang up in that third one’s face like it was nothing and constantly ignore his boring ass. Oh. You have a plan? Ok. I don’t care. It’s boring. I’m placido and I’ll do what I want. Kiss my D-wheel ass.
He has a lot of hilariously sassy lines, which include and I quote:
“I don’t know what god wants you to do.”
“But I won’t accept it!”
The guy just does not care and I’m living for it.
Not to mention his bee analogies which- Why have I not seen anyone point out????? BEE ANALOGIES COME ONNNNNNNN

3- Kiryuu
Edgy dude with pretty hair. Also gay. Also the crash town arc. Need I say more?
I will anyway.
Honestly dark signer Kiryuu was pretty fun to me with all the crazy laughter and stuff…
Then past/ flashbacks Kiryuu was just as interesting but in a completely different way. Sure he didn’t get as many episodes or screentime as the rest, but what I saw of him was more than enough for me to care about the Character. Like unlike the old satellite gang (Rally and the other two whose names I can’t even remember) I actually gave a shit about this guy when bad stuff happened to him.
Not to mention his growth. Like…He went through reverse/ negative development, then uphill by the end of the signers’ ark with all the…dying in your hands gayly stuff, then downhill again by the beginning of the crosstown arc….aaaaand back up and higher than ever by the end of it. Basically the fact that his development wasn’t always constant just added some spice.
Plus his dynamic with his ex-teammates…team….satisfaction (Try saying that with a straight face) was always pretty entertaining, especially his with Yusei.
Speaking of which...
2- Yusei
With all my talk about him…and…my profile picture…and URL, it may come as a surprise that he’s not number 1 here, but honestly it’s so close you could call it a tie.

i can’t believe it’s been two years since i made this blog & officially joined the fandom! it’s been a rough year but running this blog has truly helped me get through it, with all the wonderful jokes, gifs, memes, & content that you’ve all shared with me. it feels like a big family here on this blog, especially when i recognize the urls of those who are always in my notifs, supporting me 😭✨ it means the absolute world to me that you are all here, enjoying my content & the random stuff i blabber on about.
i had intended on doing a small 5-sentence drabble game for this occasion buuuut classes are still keeping me really busy so hopefully i’ll be able to host a game during the summer 🤞 that’s also why this year’s post is... short & small 🤧 but know that if you’re reading this, my love & appreciation for you is immeasurable!!! ✨

to be honest, i had thought about taking a long hiatus at the start of last year because i was feeling really uninspired for any of my fics after MotH. particularly around March, it really felt like tumblr was on a continuously downward slide of engagement for fics & the like/reblog/comment/ask ratio was really getting me down. i couldn’t help but compare my works to other writers, wondering what i could be doing better to make people want to chat with me the way i saw they were doing with others. idk. it’s hard not to get these thoughts in my mind, esp when i was already feeling stressed about classes.
i wasn’t expecting to start a massive series but Daechwita left me little choice in the matter with how furiously it hit me with inspiration. MLT seems to have breathed new life into my blog! i never expected this amount of love for it, especially when there were so many incredible Daechwita fics coming out at the same time, so i feel particularly thankful for those that have continued to support this series from the beginning. thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all of you that have read, that have left me the most wonderful comments, that have sent me funny (or wonderfully silly) asks/theories about the series (& any of my work in general).
i’m still trying to make myself fully comfortable with the fact that there will always be a disparity in the reblogs/comments/likes, for better or for worse, & that it’s not really a reflection on my specific work. it can be hard, because my work is intensely intimate for me because of my writing process, so it can feel like i’m being personally judged or graded at times, but i’m workin on it. i keep remembering the messages about MLT, particularly the ones where some of you said lines like what OC’s mom says to her at the end of May 1861 (that you are always deserving of love no matter what) helped you feel a bit better about yourselves. that’s why i want to write. i want to keep bringing this happiness & comfort to you all. i have to keep reminding myself of what really matters when all the social media numbers business gets to me. but im trying my best!!
anyway. all this to say i’ll be sticking around for a while longer for sure 💗 thanks for joining me on this journey!! lets keep being kind & thoughtful to each other, to keep this a warm, safe space 💞

Reason for url: STORY TIME so back in 2011, I’d finished my studies and moved to a new town for my first proper job. Since this job involved teenagers, I thought it prudent to retire my old Livejournal, which I’d kept for a decade by then and which had a number of stories from my personal life. Particularly from when I was a high schooler myself back in the digital stone age when the internet was, in fact, a terra incognita to most people. I’d long since removed all details that could identify me too accurately and friendslocked all entries about my private life, but I was ready to move on from that name and those fandoms anyway.
(this is part of the reason why I’m wary about discord, actually: Because I’m uncertain about how much of the activity there is happening in voice chats. Nevermind someone potentially recognising my voice; mind that my spoken English is recognisably accented and no matter how minimal the chances are, I do not want my students finding my fandom presense)
So to start anew, I created a new LJ, and spent A LOT of time trying to find a name that would accurately represent my New Internet Self.
I landed on daysofseptember, because September is about beginnings and endings. It is the beginning of the academical year, the beginning of work, the beginning of learning. And it is the end of summer, the beginning of the end of the year. When I was twenty-six and finally out of the educational system, it felt ironically like my life was ending. The story was over, the goal was reached; the rest of it would be something else.

to those who made my 2020 a little better,
i just wanted to let each one of you know that you mean tons to me and that you truly have, in one way or another, made this year better. i’ll be honest, 2020 was just not it for me, a whole lot of shit happened and i’ve had countless of days where i’ve been too tired in ways i can’t explain. at the same time though, good things have happened as well, one of them being the people i’ve met on tumblr; some of you i’ve been friends with since before, some of you i got to know this year and some of you even very very recently. still, i can’t thank these people enough because they’ve all been part of making this year less shitty than it would’ve been otherwise. thus, i wanted to at least let the mentioned ones know that they’re the ones part of that
now, i’m really not good with words, and i absolutely Hate being sappy, yet that’s exactly what i’m being here fjkdfk. i’m deadass out here cringing at my own words but please bear with me this one time LMAOO.

I'm italian." and like. idk. Favorite color: a fact about me is that I don’t like picking favorites of pretty much anything even though I’m pretty solidly in the blue camp for color--still, I’ll go with what I’m into right now, which is that I’m kind of digging bright orange & yellow flowers for summer. I just got some for my main room and I love the way they brighten everything up and just feel kind of glowy.
Currently reading: Oh boy. I just finished a string of books and I’m at a loose end. So here’s some recs: Peter Darling, by Austin Chang, a trans & gay Peter Pan remix, The True Queen, by Zen Cho, a gay followup to Sorcerer to the Crown which has POC main characters and is very good (the plots are exciting and unpredictable in a very refreshing way), Ash by Malinda Lo (bisexual Cinderella), and then I reread the Tiffany Aching Discworld series which I loved even more this time--I was thinking last night that in the Witches books he drew the world of the Witches, and in the Tiffany books he made it sing.
Last song: Rod Stewart - Rhythm of my Heart. Make fun of me all you want but while walking home last light night from visiting @truncated-symphony, it was a nice listen in the dark. (Never will I roam / For I know my place is home / Where the ocean meets the sky, I’ll be sailin’)
Last movie: I haven’t been able to focus on many movies since the pandemic started so I think the last time I watched a movie was spontaneously watching Winter Soldier again with @brightontheoutside because she was talking about it as she watched and I was like fuck I love that movie I’m watching it with you. I know it’s a boring answer but I really really haven’t been able to watch a movie in any real way for over a year. Also it was so nice to watch it with her even digitally and without seeing her face or hearing her voice. I miss my frieeeeends.
Last series: I think this means TV? It’s been even longer since I’ve been able to watch TV, since before the pandemic. Somewhere along the way my attention span for it just snapped in half. I’ve really just been watching youtube. So! I’ve been watching a playthrough of Resident Evil: Village which is wild if you know me, I hate the horror genre, but for some reason this doesn’t apply to games? Especially when men play them? I like male fear. And when people are making sarcastic jokes while bad shit happens. I also have a soft spot for fantasy horor. So it’s extremely fucked up but I get why y’all are gay for the tall vampire lady. mad respect.
Sweet, spicy, or flavory: uh, all of the above. I have a hell of a sweet tooth but I wouldn’t say no to any of those. Spicy food has to be flavorful though and not just pure pain.
Tea or coffee: Do these surveys ever come up with more interesting questions? As usual: I don’t drink coffee, so yes, this is the only time I’ll pick. I drink herbal teas because I can’t have caffeine, it fucks with my anxiety and the anxiety drugs I’m on. I prefer fruity teas & hibiscus but I’ll try just about anything.
Currently working on: I’ll answer this like Jess did! Professionally, I am working on making some ebooks that I can’t tell you about because it would reveal exactly where I work but they’re both going to be beautiful when they’re done. I really wish I could say because I would love to tell people to buy at least one of them, I cried really hard while making it (because it’s so complicated, design-wise, I ended up basically reading it) for multiple reasons. If that makes you curious and you know me in real life, feel free to message me and ask--I just don’t want to say publicly!!
Personally, for fandom/the internet I am STILL working on my beast of a Legolas/Gimli fic. I had wind under my sails when I was still reading LotR (part of the reason I dragged my feet reading it was so I could keep writing) but when I finished I got a little stuck. I’m at the part where they’re reunited with Merry & Pippin and I’m working on Gimli’s POV of that scene but I haven’t cracked how I’m going to approach it. I need to think on a bit and I just haven’t yet.
For my real life, I’m also working on a long-term project (that wasn’t meant to be long-term! argh!) of removing the stain and re-staining a table that I’ve had since I was a kid. It was stained white because I wanted white furniture in my pink room but I’m A Grownup Now and the table was all dinged and dented and needs to be a new, less dingy color, that brings out the wood grain better. (White stain does not look good--if you want white, use paint. imo.) Also going to put a polyurethane protective coat on there so it doesn’t dent so bad in the future, the wood seems to be very soft and this table is definitely a working table that holds my internet router among other things. I finally got all or most of the stain off (after probably 2 years, I refuse to look up how long it actually took) (removing stain is REALLY hard) and I’m moving on to finer grain sandpaper at last. I’m both terrified and excited to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and get to actually stain this thing--part of me definitely wants to be like “well there’s a spot of white stain here in the crevice of this joint no one will see better get it out and take another week” just to avoid making any permanent changes I can’t undo.

It would be around the time Voyager got back from the Delta Quadrant and I'd have my own Intrepid Class ship, yes I've thought about it way too much lmao, but it was what got me through secondary school. i first joined the IT fandom last january after watching the movies. i read the book about 3 years ago, but i didn’t even realize that there was a fandom to join until i watched the movies! i always loved the story, but idk something about the movies really sparked my interest in IT and that’s when i joined the fandom!
my #1 favourite ship is of course, reddie! i just absolutely love the childhood best friends to lovers trope and i believe they are soulmates. i also really love stanpat, i wish we could have seen more of them but their story of how they met and fell in love warms my heart <3
