To procrastinate or not to procrastinate
Today was my day off from work and I planned on making it a productive day. Last night, I wrote a "reasonable" list of things to do on a post-it note.
drop off mail at the post office
deposit a few checks $$
do laundry
shop for bathroom necessities
etc.
This morning, I woke up later than intended. My warm bed (the one true love) was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave it. I woke up at 10am, which gave me just enough time to head to the pool for a quick morning swim. For lunch, I spent an hour feasting on a gigantic sandwich that was large enough to feed an entire high school swim team.
Afterwards, instead of running errands, I took "a break" and decided "to stay home". I enjoyed the sunny and warm weather by cuddling on the bed, snacking on Organic Cheddar Bunnies and fruit gummies, and binge watching the second season of House of Cards. But the time my break was over, it was dinner and the bank had already closed for the day.
I guess I could always do my errands later. On the bright side, I did swim.
