Well, if that's true, I just have two things to say to that.

The blog owner doesn't own Marimo's art or any form of copyright to it.

Kefka is a popular enough character that I can think of a handful of other blogs that use him as their muse. The blog owner doesn't own the character.

They can talk to me about it off anon if they have a problem with me specifically, and we can try and see if that problem is on my end or theirs.

ahhh i just remembered alphen and shionne are gonna be at the next tales of festival again and damn that's three times in a row for them!!! that's amazing (for me specifically)!! like genuinely i assumed last year would be the last time they were gonna have both of 'em on, bcause, well it can't be the arise Celebrity Couple all the time, everybody's probably sick of them already and the hype's gone down and all that, and heck they even hinted at that in one of the kagenare, but!! against all odds i get yet another year or shimoji and satotaku performing together

#they've only been announced for day 2 and i'm being so brave about it #and to think we probably have BtD to thank for that......... hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaahhhhh #anyway i gotta enjoy this while it lasts until arise eventually fades into obscurity byyyeeee #but *will it* fade into obscurity tho #because like as a matter of fact it very much did sell 3million copies #so you could argue thats like. a Milestone. a Whole Thing. Arise has left a permanent mark on the series #and is on its way towards becoming one of the quote unquote Important Titles like symphonia or uuhhhh symphonia!!! (vesperia???)#but on the other hand. is that *really* the case like #like ok thats a LOT of sales but. that doesnt mean it's necessarily gonna have the cultural IMPACT like.#the tales fandom dislikes it for one #and so like. like statistically most of the ppl who bought it are like. they're not in the fandom right. like. they played it and moved on #(god i wish that were me)#like that's what im asking is arise gonna be a cultural milestone in the series even #and like. yes and no??? lmao. because like. there's a high likelihood that the upcoming games are gonna be more like arise right #since that sells. and so. well those subsequent games are gonna draw in ppl who like that type of experience :))) so #uh. YEAH. yknow like WHAT IM SAYING IS #as much as zestiria broke the fanbase it's more likely that there's gonna be 2 distinct pre- and post-arise eras #right. uuuhhh. the pre-arise fans and the post-arise fans are just not the same ppl. (for the most part)#anyway so probably arise is not fading into obscurity aaaaaaarrgghhh noooo #but at the same time like. less and less side materials (manga; drama CDs; comic anthologies etc) are being made so what does it matter #what does it matter if they keep arise alive if it's just to routinely sell figurines and uhhh *checks notes* booze and acrylic stands #anyway i'm so excited for the next ToFestival!!!!!!!#toarise hate #im this close to saying arise has destroyed the fandom for good in favor of casuals who are not interested in the Fandom Experience but #im not saying it. i dont know that.

#society if i was a vinyl collector #ig i could be i have vinyl player but no place to have it like.... set up all the time #i just looked into it again and no ones posted my favorite emma ruth rundle cd for sale but my second favorite is a THIRTY FIVE DOLLAR CD.#USED #A USED CD #meanwhile i can buy a vinyl of my fave album for the same price tag new from her store this moment #the only other cds of hers for sale rn are her metal collab album and her newest two in her store 😭#im also looking at biting the bullet to buy a $25 cd of nico vegas bc uh. they dont make cds at all anymore and theyre just gonna get rarer #and yeah yeah i could learn to burn cds and diy it w bandcamp purchases BUT #i like the printed cds i like the cases i like the booklets #“just get into vinyls” i hear u but i have. like 50 cds. i only have 3 vinyls and only one is good #and i dont like how some songs sound on vinyl idk #tbh emma would probably sound really good on it but thats NOT the point bc i cant play vinyl in my car!#anyways. ten dollar copy of marked for death by emma ruth rundle popping up second hand when 🥺#my post

I don't ask this to start discourse, but in the event that it does, I'll delete the post.

But I'm genuinely curious. I've seen a lot of people say they're creeped out or terrified of Keith but then seem to love Gilbert/feel fine with him. And as someone that feels the complete opposite, especially with the way Gilbert acts in the recent routes, I'm really curious as to what makes the difference between the two for you guys?

Especially with the difference in screen time, too, the ENG server has comparatively much less content on Keith than on Gilbert with the exception of collection event stories, and a portion of those are AUs even. Meanwhile Gilbert is largely present in the main stories so far, with a more serious presence. So I'm wondering whats making the impression to lean that way for each character?

#that is to say i havent completed silvios route so idk what gilberts full role is there #but gils first birthday gave me instant 'jesus christ he really will kill me' vibes #keith is clear as day for me what his intentions are but gilly boy is a big ol question mark #even after reading route translations #im really hoping it doesnt come down to keiths different personalities cause id like to think better of this community but..#gonna turn off reblogs over night just in case lol

Something that always pissed me off about DSaF is how it acts like your physical exterior is a moral failing, which is echoed by the characters but only ever reinforced instead of subverted. Biggest L from the writing imo.

so glad you asked! my plans for the premiere will be a suicide bombing at nintendo hq! hope this answered your question!

#I think it's a bad idea lol #I think zelda is not a good franchise to try and adapt to a movie format in general #because it's very much a story that uses the fact it's a video game to TELL the story. so putting it in a different medium changes that #and that isn't to say that an adaptation can never change things about what it's adapting in fact the mark of a good adaptation #is often knowing when and where and what to change and how #but soooo much of zelda and it's appeal and storytelling comes from the fact it's a video game. so I can't imagine liking it as a movie #and then nothing about it is inspiring confidence #I think if they absolutely HADDD to adapt loz. it should've been animated. loz is a franchise where the art direction is really important #so. taking that away is. a choice #and then the movie is being directed by the guy who directed the fucking MAZE RUNNER MOVIESSSSS😭😭😭#and those are. well the quality is. tbf the fact that the maze runner is just not amazingly well written was working against that too #but still #the only possible saving graces are A. the guy said his aims are something to the effect of a live action ghibli movie #I don't have much faith in that being successful but at least he's trying?#and B. I will say the fact it's live action means they're probably going to TRY to take the story seriously??#if it was animated they probably would've treated it like the mario movie which would've been SOOO bad #ultimately though I think best case scenario is a mediocre movie we forget about #and worst case scenario it makes history with other well known godawful adaptations #yes im gonna hate it yes I will be watching it. unfortunately.
