hii. been busy here and there so all ive done is rewatching unfinished anime series and dealing w both asthma and acute laryngitis and depression 🤡🤡

but ive been thinking abt hayami whenever i listen to mitski so. I Have To make a post abf her

- i think hayami straightens her hair for the majority of her middle school final yr. bc in the manga, its shown in the manga that she still has curly frilly hair but to separate herself from Irina, its tied up and straightened

- which leaves me to think shes those cases of blonde suddenly turn brunette as they grow older but in her case its like hella obvious. I dont think her mom would let her dye her hair so the dying hair thing is out of the question for me

- this mostly stems from the ova where she has blonde hair + some ppls interpretation of hayami in which she has brown hair and i think thats so swag

- i think hayami has hazel eyes.. just bc it just seems fitting that she does yk. and also brown hair + hazel eyes combo hayami ? God Bless

- how others see hayamis eyes can depend on the lighting.. like when its sunset it appears more brown to others or when its morning, it appears more green. could even be gold in a very specific moment

- its mentioned that hayami is more expressive in the beginning of assclass and gets more stoic later on.

- And then i think abt how matsui tried to box hayami into the tsundere stereotype even tho it just makes me see her more as a person w communication problems and issues handling her facial expressions

- shes so catcore. Hayami was a latchkey child from a very young age. we dont rlly have any info on hayamis life from her graduation forward aside from some in the korotan, the epilogue and like some meta info,,

hayami was relied on a lot and had to do others dirty bidding. i imagine her believing that it was some form of friendship, some way of maintaining their relationship (considering the absence of her father and mother and her chasing for validations)

i think her previous classmates were afraid of her at the beginning, but when realized that hayami had good intentions, they used her loneliness to benefit themselves

its great that shes honed her receptionist skills but in the end, its mostly just for helping someone else. and the fact that chiba isnt depicted as like being against it is kinda off.. hayamis known for her stretching thin of herself and chiba, being arguably hayamis closest friend, would. at least realize that she has a self-sacrificing tendency (seeing how observant he is yk)

heyyy hi a little life/med update !!

and idk its like!!! i knew it was BAD like especially these past few months its been just. VIOLENTLY out of control but god the absolute relief ive been feeling is making me feel like i was still grossly underestimating it, it had completely taken over my life. right now its like, i encounter any random trigger and i brace myself for the anxiety spiral to come and then it DOESN'T and its so ??? like i still have The Thought but then i just go "ok" and dismiss it like an annoying notification and thats IT, while the last time i was on therapy i literally described my ocd as having hundreds of those cymbal-banging monkey toys of different sizes just sitting there in my brain Waiting and every single time i got triggered one of them would start losing its absolute shit - for example if im at the supermarket, on top of the everything about existing as an autistic person at the supermarket, thered be like a dozen of them constantly going ALERT ALERT CONTAMINATION CONTAMINATION EEK EEK DANGER DANGER BANG BANG BANG- and now the monkeys r GONE. get turned into mostly-dismissable phone notifs, idiots !!!!!!!!!

2. How did you find out about or discover it?

i'd seen the movie before and when the trailer came out i thought it looked really good so it was on my radar before it came out. but the reason i actually started watching was that i was disappointed in house of the dragon bc daemon and rhaenyra weren't a toxic enough couple when they actually got together and i wanted to watch some toxic romance. lol

ok long version of the story! (sorry if you don't care about hotd lol)

i was really excited about hotd after the trailers started coming out and like the freak i am, i was especially excited to see the insane uncle/niece incest grooming go from gross to fun when they eventually marry and fight a war and everything goes wrong and they're both crazy and toxic and evil. that's my idea of a good time. this shot from the trailer in particular had me excited for this dynamic:

and the beginning was so promising, their scenes when she's still a teenager played by the younger actress milly alcock are very intriguing! creepy but intriguing.

but then episode 7 happens. i knew ahead of time that the plot of the episode was that daemon's wife has just died and at her funeral he fucks his niece, as you do, and then suddenly rhaenyra's husband also dies and they get married for succession war reasons without permission from her father the king who would fucking hate this. insane sequence of events! and i'd heard that the marriage ceremony was going to be valyrian rites with blood and stuff. for the uninitiated, valyrian refers to the (mostly) lost civilization of blond people who ride dragons and do incest and they're rumored to have done blood magic and stuff. so i had high hopes for this whole valyrian marriage rites scene. a blood sacrifice? some animal or...? an altar with LOTS of blood! their dragons take to the air! they should fuck on the bloody altar while their dragons fuck in the air! either way the visuals will be insane and amazing!

yeah, so the episode airs. and i'm BORED. they made this shit boring somehow. the dialogue is bad and so is the directing. they have a bland conversation about their respective marriages and then have some tepid sex. it just doesn't look like they're that into it even. was that intentional? i cant tell. other more interesting stuff happens and then close to the end of the ep shes like uncle i need you so i can win the eventual war that everyone knows is going to be break out so we should get married. hes like hmm ok. but shes already married so they fake her husband's death so he can sail into the sunset with his boyfriend. toxicity and evilness toned down as much as possible. then they marry and the valyrian ritual is just like. fine. no dragons. they cut their palms so there is blood. if i saw it without prior expectations i'd probably think it was kinda cool but i had built it up in my head to be way cooler so.

in the next episode they kinda just act like a normal couple. despite the whole incest age gap uncle niece grooming shit. i wanted them to be screaming. i am sad about it.

im on tumblr and i see a post with a jacob anderson quote saying iwtv is basically a show about a married couple slamming doors on each other. i'd seen some gifs and ofc i'd seen the trailer months ago but this makes me go !!!!! THIS could be the toxic marriage i was looking for! i go watch it immediately. two episodes have aired so far but it only took me one to fall in love! new obsession unlocked! louis de pointe du lac is my truest love!

at that point im barely able to give half a shit about hotd anymore, i dont even watch the last two eps until days or weeks later. (in the last episode daemon and rhaenyra do get more interesting as they have some tension over him acting like he's in charge even though she's the queen and he's just her consort. he also strangles her a bit when he gets upset, which is very unsurprising from a misogynistic violent man who murdered his first wife (of 3) but some people were shocked. insert iwtv comparison here.) (i've also rewatched hotd with new eyes recently and enjoyed those episodes a lot more when i didnt have my own expectations clouding everything. i WOULD recommend the show for anyone who thinks family drama leading to a literal war feat. dragons sounds like a fun time. it is good and hopefully will be continue to be! also that quote from the showrunner saying daemon wanted to marry his brother and his niece was the closest he could get to was fucking life changing. ryan condal said gay targcest rights. also rhaenicent<3)

anyway iwtv becomes my #1 obsession from episode one and has stayed that way ever since!

i just hung out w new people and played ddlc which was very fun! we did some reading and stuff for it which was cool and then i got anxious and tired from the anxiety so i had to leave alkdfjahl but it was cool to see ddlc again and hang out with new and old friends

i FINALLY MADE PROGRESS IN HONKAI.... i finished chapter 13 and god.... i forgot how much i love this story so much just because its been such a long time since i was able to sit down and play it. like im pretty sure the last time i was able to make progress was back in december...? the only times i ever made progress was when i finished an exam and id just sit and read for a while and augh its such a good story i love it so much,,,

kinda related but getting news that theyre finally putting cn voices over the cgs is so nice ; w ; i mostly play in cn voices so it felt weird when it switched to jp but me and my friend were maybe going to stream honkai together on the weekend (i feel bad bc i'm probably going to be annoying. bc thats my fixation rn), so itll be cool to see the cgs in cn !! hopefully?? idk i tried to play it today but its still jp alksdjafh

that being said im also v excited about the weekend w my friend,, i just hope i dont wind up being annoying...

So this is my first post here, name's mimi and i've just been casually writting stories for a very long time. Used to rp all the time yet havent in a few years. Recently my muse in dystopian has risen again and im very excited to publish what ive got. Won't promise it's any good lol havent been using tumblr in a very long time either and everything is so different so pls bare w me, english is not my first nor second lenguage so kidness its thanked. I'm just messing around with it, trying to enjoy myself and hopefully you like, it if not.. well, i'd like it. Wasn't even gonna post this whole thing into the tags but i figured it's always helpful to build up of each others energy (if anyone interacts w it, again no pressure this is mostly for me). My first story will be divergent au kinda sorta aka before the events of the movie, set in dauntless and w eric bc we love a bad boy. Also want to focus on building the characters as we got them presented in the book and the society status but once again, dont make no promises.

Here are some of my thoughts during my first writting session (im halfway through)

• i think my biggest mission in this story other than finishing it is to not kill y/n at the end to explain eric's extreme assholness&cold heart bc lol isn't what we all think will happen? i mean wouldnt it be a dystopian story if the main/fav character didnt get killed off riGHT VERONICA but also predictable idk we'll see

• also always wanted to write stories of four and eric initative times and fights HC but i gotta warm up to the characters tbh and fight scenes bc there's a lot and i need to explore the world first, make it my own in a way even though i own nothing bc im not veronica roth but you get what im saying

• refer to previous point, am i fully knowloadged of the world? The factions? The OG story? No, so i'm sure i'll ramble through and adapt it to my own mind, hope thats not off putting. I'll try my best but you know how things turn out sometimes.

• i do have a small bullet point and inspo fcs for the characters presented in the story & i want to make like a post for them but also too much work and im still getting to know them myself so im sure they will grow a lot but probs will post them just so we are @ same page w them??

• also finish writting chapt 1 would be a nice i guess lol

• fyi story is written as second person prespective refering to you all the time, character y/n and our main character is literally just us, thinks dauntless is hella cool but doesnt believe shes cool enough to be, she'll work her way up and eventually fall in love w eric and probs figure out some shit going on in chicago

IM FALLING BACK INTO THE FANDOM

haven’t read the books in over a year but they never get any less good

thats a lie. it was slightly less good than when i first read it, probably because im older now and noticing the little things that i dont like, but its still bringing back all my childhood happiness from reading the series and its still amazing

first of all. i dont know how i didnt notice this until now but prentice and tiergan for sure had something going on 

they def had some side fling happening (if its confirmed they didn’t in later books and i just forgot, dont tell me)

like tiergan is so bitter over him being broken?? he hates everyone who played even a small role in prentice’s exile?? come ON this is not a regular bromance-type relationship 

i wish the kidnapping scene was more... realistic? idk i really loved how the drug hazes were described and a lot of it was super good but i felt like it was kind of short and the kidnappers really didn’t... do much?

like they kinda just threatened to kill dex and half-heartedly questioned sophie for only like 2 pages

also why would they not just kill dex immediately they have 0 use for him

His hair!!! Yes! I like it too. I also like that they went with a whole different direction with Unmei's design as opposed to the other protagonist's desgins because before this, the protagonists usually looked like Regular guys as far as anime goes

Like just look at them. Obviously they aren't full regular guy bc this is anime style still, but they aren't too flashy. They did stray away with it when it came to Asuto a bit bc idk what that hair is, but with Unmei they just went all out. It's nice, it's new.

And tbh I think that Haru takes the "regular guy" approach in design choices this time around. Bc in IE we have the main protagonists (the guys above), but we also have the main trios and their designs are mixed when it comes to full anime and just regular guys

The original trio can all pass as regular guys, gryphon trio (with Tenma) (also apparently GO/Gryphon trio is also their ship name, I found that out when I was looking for images HELP) is mixed, Tsurugi is anime and Shindou is just a guy. Ares trio is like, the most anime.

As for Victory Road idk who the full trio is, maybe we don't even have a trio this time around! They have been mostly focusing on Unmei and Haru and nobody else really, so maybe they opted for a protag duo this time! However, it is possible that Jouji is the third protag bc he's been pretty prominent too, just not as much. Though can't be sure, bc Jouji has been mostly shown with the other important characters rather than a focus like Haru and Unmei...

Got shown in the latest PV and I haven't seen him before. He also got shown right before Haru and Unmei so ??? Maybe it's this guy while Jouji fills the role of the best friend or childhood friend instead! I'm really curious, honestly I hope that they do all the new characters justice bc I'm sooo excited to meet them and grow attached to them. Out of the characters I haven't mentioned, I'm personally looking forward to seeing Garyuu and Soji a lot!! I reached the image limit for this one so maybe I can show them later...

ANYWAYS HARU. I'm really excited to see Haru because like AJFIGJFJAJWF!!!! Not only am I excited to see a kid of an older character in general bc I wanna know what Endou was like as a dad, but Haru's story already intrigues me. Haru's title is Soccer Monster and he is incredibly talented and good at soccer (which isn't surprising considering he is THE son of THE legendary goalkeeper Endou Mamoru (Mamoru Endou actually, I'm just used to doing last name, first name for IE lmao) who is known far and wide in the IE world), BUT in reality he finds soccer kinda boring (Endou is crying a river hearing this). And like, you know, obviously he finds it boring because he is simply TOO GOOD at it, he probably doesn't have any challenges anymore right now. So I'm really excited to see what they do with him bc from some things they have shown he and Unmei become friends quickly and Unmei even shares tactics for matches with Haru even though they aren't on the same team (does this mean Haru switches to Unmei's school? I wonder). So I wonder how everything is going to actually play out, I'm guessing that he relearns that soccer is fun together with Unmei, but can't be sure.

Anyways, Unmei! Apparently Unmei starts out hating soccer and then ????? And now we gotta bring back soccer??? Really curious how the plot is going to play out here too. Also, Unmei himself doesn't actually play, he's actually going to be the team's manager. Though he does know how to play soccer from what we have seen, so I wouldn't be surprised if they go PLOT TWIST and Unmei ends up becoming an actual player later in the game. But him not being a player is also a new approach for a protagonist!!! They are doing so many new things with this game!!! I like it and I am excited to actually see the whole game and experience the new story!!!!!!!!!!

Idk .. fast forward in February I asked him to be my valentine and he said yes. He started clinical about 2 weeks before so I know we wouldn’t be able to do anything together but I just asked .. bc yknow I want him to be mine. Idk on Valentine’s Day I called him to tell him happy Valentine’s Day real quick since he had been working.. and then last week he said he missed me 😵‍💫😵‍💫 idk I just said I missed him too bc idk how to respond to that.. like we haven’t really talked much since he started his clinicals for class.. I mean yea I’m sad we don’t talk much but I understand and give him space because I respect him. I do text him good morning and good night even if he doesn’t always respond to them.. idk

We talked on the phone today for a little and he was saying how he got braces and ofc I’m like “pics or it didn’t happen” and he’s like “ I’ll show you in person . I’ll pull up” and I’m like nah you won’t” and he said he would during his week break in 4 weeks and idk I don’t believe him but I really hope he does come over.. idk I’m touch starved ..

Hi welcome back! God i feel that life has been wild lately so i totally understand. Oh hey no worries ive been in a boat too of like. Man i really want to do this thing but my energy just isnt there. I instantly fell in love with her. Very nice clara supremacy she is so good. One day ill have her on main. I think i stopped at tb 60 so i can work on a few characters but the artifact grind hates me. Oh that sounds real interesting i cant wait to see it play out i just finished the bit where cocolia turned bronya & took the one herrscher at uh. Ch 3 end? Oh i know that one! Catarina my beloved she's so stupid i love her. Easily one of the best protags in recent memory. HI THANK YOU!!!! god it really has. and the weather here has been so gloomy recently that i have no energy to do anything even if i have the time. the horrors are endless but we stay silly. and thankies once again!!! i MIRACULOUSLY managed to not fail anything so were all good. unfortunately this month is also already packed but luckily its stuff i more or less either know [polish] or like [geography]. and two of the teachers i disliked got fired AJDKFJG. history guy for offering to raise students' grades if they go around spreading konfederacja [a polish extremely far-right party] flyers and that math teacher who couldnt count for saying hitler was a good person. just another day in a polish school, i guess. but both of our replacement teachers are very cool so we're so back. god yeah totally!!! not only do i have something to do for a while but i ALSO get to eat at the end. literally a win/win situation. yeah that Is annoying but as i mentioned its luckily not as common over here.... and ouhggh pain. gran canaria is VERY beautiful but id also like to visit the other canary islands someday...... the carnival on tenerife is one of the, if not the biggest, ones in spain so thatd be fun to see as well. i only missed the celebrations on gran canaria by one day which was quite annoying but oh well. GOD YEAH. im still convinced School Air is a thing bc i simply cannot explain so many things without that assumption. i played resident evil as a kid on the ps2 or ps3 i think and idk how because i tried a few years ago and got scared and quit. not a big horror game fan. i’ve forced myself to play a lot like amnesia, outlast, prey scared me so bad i played like an hour and quit.

gna geek out a bit. there’s this game called silent hill p.t. it was a playable trailer for a since abandoned and unreleased silent hill game. it was released for free on ps4 but when the game was cancelled, it was taken down and unable to be redownloaded. i housesat for my moms boyfriend when i was 15 and he had the game, he never deleted it so it was still playable. i played it in the middle of the night in his gaming room in pure darkness and i have never played a scarier game. i turned every light in the house on and kept every door open. i slept with his two great danes on the bed LMAO the consoles that had it downloaded were being sold for thousands afterwards bc there was no other way to play it other than buy the console and account that it’s downloaded to.

played sm gta growing up and im so excited for the new one!! the trailer looks phenomenal

never played valorant but i’ve downloaded it to play and then forgot about it twice HAHA
