Are there any ITV shows you've watched where you wished the concepts in them had been executed better than they actually were? Ishqbaaaz is one of them for me, even though I still like it for what it was as a whole show (minus the redux and the leap after it). I'm just asking out of curiosity, because I wish that there were more good ITV shows. Most of the recent ones have felt way too samey to me though.
I think it's the case for EVERY SINGLE ONE i've watched like non-ironically (shit like Naagin and IMMJ2 and all, I know what I'm getting into and I'm watching it for shits and giggles.) Almost every ITV show I have invested time in after Ishqbaaaz started out with a good concept, and then fell victim to TRP nonsense. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Hi TT, I hope you're doing ok :) I had a random ITV related question. Are there any FLs in any shows that you genuinely disliked? I've never really disliked any FLs in the very few ITV shows I've watched, except for Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. I didn't dislike the FL at all in that initially, I actually liked her a lot. But after the show took a leap I found her very toxic and triggering (I legit got a panic attack after watching some of her scenes) for personal reasons.
Any FL that's sanctimonious and starts giving bhashan about her sanskaar and ways of life being the right way gets on my shit list tbh. Like, fuck offfff with this bs, girl. You have too many other problems in your ridiculous life to be moral policing this rando who isn't gonna change their life listening to this nonsense anyway. Just cuss them out in your mind like the rest of us and move the fuckkkk on.
But an FL who I especially hated? Riddhima from IMMJ2. I've never seen such an unlikable and stupid female protagonist in all my life of enduring ITV. I spent almost every episode of that show thinking she deserved all the absolute NONSENSE that happened to her on a daily basis because THERE IS AN EXTENT TO WHICH YOU CAN BE SO DAMN RIDICULOUS. DARWIN AWARD WINNING ANTICS ON THE HOUR, EVERY HOUR. I never engage in victim blaming, even in fiction, but my god, that character was really fuckin asking for it.
