Like obviously there's a ton of reasons why jason just didnt kill joker in utrh or in any subsequent comics after, first and foremost being that he's dc's little cash cow, but I always did like the in universe explanation being that Jason himself doesn't want the joker to die

Not bc the joker is important to Jason in anyway shape or form quite the opposite in fact, joker dying wouldn't benefit Jason bc the joker doesnt matter to him outside of being a living constant reminder of Bruce's failure that can be used to hurt both himself and bruce, if jokers dead then the healing process can start and Jason doesn't want that he wants to be angry and hurt

So Jason doesn't go kill Joker to get revenge bc he already got his revenge when he beat Joker with a crowbar in utrh and killing the Joker himself wouldn't bring him any more catharsis since he doesn't really care about the clown outside of using him as a prop in his ongoing feud with Bruce

Is anyone else bothered by that scene in The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies where Legolas runs out of arrows right before fighting Bolg? Like I wouldn't care if running out of arrows was something that had happened multiple times, but this is like the only scene it's a thing. Because in LOTR he fires hundreds of arrows and we just ignore the concept of running out of arrows. And then we wanted him to use a sword in that fight so he was conveniently out of arrows for the first and only time. I know realistically he'd be running out of arrows constantly but it just seems so weird to ignore it for every scene except this one

The dumbest people in the ace attorney original trilogy (if we apply real world law) are Dee Vasquez and Godot.

If she hadn't have tampered with the body, Dee Vasquez would have got off scot-free - it was self-defence. Her crimes were the mob related stuff, framing Will Powers, and tampering with a crime scene.

Godot wouldn't have been charged with murder. Either voluntary manslaughter, or potentially he would not have been charged with anything if it was decided that his use of force to protect Maya was proportional. So either scot-free or voluntary manslaughter. His crime was tampering with the body, and framing Iris.

I'm pretty sure in the world of Ace Attorney, they'd still be murderers. But irl they could have walked free if they hadn't have done anything after the death.

Dagnabit, I don’t want to be one of these people because canon is all made up and none of it matters but…is Celly Breha’s sister or Bail’s? Because she’s Bail’s in Legends material, but the character is named “Duchess Celly Organa” in Obi-Wan Kenobi credits, and I was all ready to just say she’s Breha’s now, but then I made the mistake of picking up my copy of Leia, Princess of Alderaan, in which it is stated that if Breha had died during her fall from that mountain, they would have been without an heir to the throne and, like, surely Celly qualifies if she was her sister???

there's this breast surgeon on youtube who has had breast cancer and she makes videos about it and she annoys me so much because she'll say things like "as a breast surgeon i had no idea about [things about chemo or meds or radiation] until i had breast cancer myself! isn't that insane!" and it feels really disingenuous because she's presenting her videos as "the stuff doctors won't tell you/aren't informed about" but a breast surgeon wouldn't know about these topics? an oncologist would... like why would i expect my breast surgeon to know about immunotherapy? and by the same token i can't ask my oncologist about surgery because her specialty is the oncology part not the surgery part...

I don't know if it'll actually happen, but I do hope that after the play is over and so is camp, that ej does understand gina once all of this is done and off of his shoulders and just agrees that things may have not would work out in the long run. they were great in season 2, but sometimes good things just aren't always meant to last, and it was gina's first relationship and it wasn't perfect, not all relationships are, and that's fine. maybe, he'll come to realize that he just isn't ready for a relationship when he just should focus on himself and what he wants for his future. honestly, these kids shouldn't be in relationships if they are not emotionally ready for it, cause stuff like this will blow up in their face

Am so upset, I’ve developed my art this far to the point I recon I could safely say I’m decent at my style, but I don’t even like my art style.

I wanted realism, or detail, or really pretty colours and shading, but instead I got simple, cartoonish and basic colours and shading. I can hardly even draw literally anything other than what I do draw. I can’t even do backgrounds.

I want to do art like clockbirds on yt -n-

And it doesn’t help being online and seeing people my age or younger who have probably been drawing for less time than me and yet they’re still a million and one times better than me

Like, seriously, my style is nowhere near what I want it to be. It’s so annoying.
