don't hug me i'm scared episode 6 electricity is really something when you're autistic, huh. yellow guy is made fun of all his life by his only friends and laughed at for being "stupid" when all he needed was a change of batteries but no one would listen to him and give him the accommodations he needed and deserved and when he finally did get new batteries and become more clearheaded his friends didn't like him any better. they stopped making fun of him, sure, but they didn't like that he was "smart" all of a sudden, because they'd gotten used to him being "the stupid one". and he looked in the mirror and saw his former self, and his reflection asked him, "have we gone wrong? they seem upset with us" because the truth is even if the way you are now is more comfortable for you, even if it doesn't hurt to think anymore, people will only ever like you if you're the Right Kind of autistic/adhd/traumatized/whatever. have we gone wrong? have we gone wrong? that's what you always ask yourself. "maybe they're not in charge of us anymore." "maybe they never were." and his reflection walks away, as if accepting that the others will think what they will think, and it won't matter, because yellow guy is his own person, no matter how difficult it is for him to articulate his thoughts, and he doesn't need their approval to think. "maybe they never were."

Argenti relationship headcanons;
┏━━━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━━┓
✰ Characters: Argenti x reader.
✰ Words: ~1k.
✰ SFW ; gn!reader, no mentions of pronouns. fluff.
Tumblr media
Warnings: might be slightly sug/gestive here and there. i tried but he's too hot :pensive: written with jp voice in mind
A/N: I'm honestly so surprised there's so little Argenti content that IM OFFENDED. i need MORE OF HIM BEING CUTE AND LOVING ME. i cant pull him now but i next time he wont escape me
┗━━━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━━┛
Argenti:
Tumblr media
He absolutely wakes up looking like a princess. Sun rays illuminating his face so beautifully, his chest slowly rising up and down (and his um, chest muscles being also blessed by the sun rays if you get me), his lips parted ever so slightly, hair sprawled out, but still looking untouched by the nights sleep.
His long eyelashes flutter open, and his emerald eyes scan the room drowsily; once the knight sets his eyes on you, he smiles to himself and turns to his side to face you.
He admires you sleeping, for... quite some time. Even if your hair is not perfect at all, or there's a drool running down your face - he's mesmerized. and I truly mean it, he's trying to calm down the butterflies in his stomach. Argenti can't help but cup your cheek and caress it gently with his thumb; his sleepy smile growing even wider when he feels you stir in your sleep.
even though it's never in his intentions to awaken you (he actually kinda wishes you kept sleeping so he could still admire you lol), he takes advantage of that and begins to place warm and slow kisses on your face to wake you up. his hair shields you from the harsh sunlight, faintly tickling you here and there.
hear me out, it surely looks nice from your angle, but his back muscles..
depending on your mood, these kisses may trail somewhere else. i mean.. can you imagine him between your thighs. because i can and it's not making me feel well.
"my brightest rose, good morning. seeing your magnificent eyes once again fills me with happiness and energy for the upcoming day." wipes off your drool sexily
he sleeps SHIRTLESS (you told him you were cold. he pretended to believe it).
random dances across all the planets at (seemingly) random times. he doesn't care whether you can dance or not, but he'll be honored to teach you if you wish. argenti would absolutely get you to dance whenever you feel down just to make you laugh; wrong moves don't matter - it'd probably hurt you more if you stepped on his armor...
listen. he doesn't care if it's cringe, but he will hold a rose between his teeth and dance with you, if that's what makes you laugh.
has probably thought once or twice if you're the truest manifestation of Idrila. He's never been so mesmerized by someone's beauty, so... maybe? ... *rubs hands and smirks*
does NOT give a single sheet if he's in public or not - but he always, ALWAYS kisses you like it's your last kiss. They're so passionate, intimate, and sensual, that it makes people flustered at the sight of you. He pulls you close by your waist, swiftly switching his hands to cup your cheeks; the knight puts his forehead against yours and whispers a few silly words before finally connecting your lips together. The kiss, although as simple as it could be, leaves you hungry for more - it takes a while for him to finally part, but just enough to refill the air in your lungs.
now, it wouldn't be as awkward to other people if it took you a few minutes, but argenti TAKES HIS TIME. he has to kiss you (or makeout at this point lol) until your lips are swollen from his kisses. then he moves on to his duties like nothing happened.
he truly wants you to hold him by his waist when you two kiss, or at least have your hands on his chest. he'll put them on the desired place by himself if you don't do it. what a dork.
touch is just so, so important to him. he has a hard time getting rejected, no matter if it's a hug or kiss, it makes him feel unwanted. he won't show it outside much, but he might be less... dramatic and excited than usual.
he SO SHOWS OFF FOR YOU it's almost reckless sometimes. "My lady, fear not, as I am here to protect your beauty until my very end!" Argenti kisses your knuckles before parting to defeat the enemy with ease.
Calculated how to fall just enough to dramatically appear on his knees and put his hand on his heart before you, "Beloved, the evil has been obliterated with the power of love my heart stores for your beautiful soul!"
He KNOWS his cheesy lines either make you cringe (with love), laugh or you're just an adorable soul who genuinely likes lines like these, he RAMPS them up like crazy.
just throwing it out there so we're clear: to argenti, consent is a must, regardless of the activity. no consent, he's moving on. thinks consent is se/xy. HE'S THE EMBODIMENT OF CONSENT.
his hair probably smells really nice. a faint smell of strawberry, perhaps..
the beauty knight usually wants you to stay out of battles, but holy sheet if he sees you kick someone's ass so good, he's impressed and proud. probably needs a bathroom break also..
"oh, how much do i wish that was me instead..." - argenti probably
actually wouldn't mind to have friendly spares with you from time to time - it's a good opportunity for both to test your skills. or maybe give argenti an opportunity to straddle you... that's also an option.
remembers every date that's important for you. in return, he doesn't really care about his, but might tear up when you show up with a gift.
he'd actually love to help you dress up! nothing sexual involved, just pure intimacy of helping his beloved. his moves are precise, careful not to harm you in any way with his armor; he relishes in the feeling of your skin being so tender compared to his.

Kinktober Day 21 - Somnophilia
Another hyper fixation I had a fling with has to do with um..a Latino Spider-man. >///> Don't look at me, he's got nice...features....*cough* Enjoy!~
Warning! This work does contain pre-agreed to (although never directly stated) consensual non-consent! If that is not something you're okay with, please do not read! Thank you!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Never in your life had you seen someone work as hard as Miguel did. You knew, of course, why he did what he did. The multiverse was a serious thing, and despite not being part of the Spider Society, you knew why it needed the protection it had.
Not that it wasn’t important, you do wish Miguel would give himself a break once in a while. It hurt you to see the man you loved so dear make it back to your shared home looking like he was about to drop to the ground. Yet no matter how much you argued with him about it, he never relented.
You even consulted Lyla about it one night when Miguel wasn’t in earshot. “You can’t just…lace the Rapture or something?” you asked, voice hushed. “Slip some melatonin in there or something to get him to just…relax for a second?”
“Sorry hun,” Lyla told you, the AI sighing heavily in her own electronic way. “I wish I could.” You flopped back against your shared bed at that answer.
Upon wandering through the halls of the society that day, you hadn’t expected anything different. You waved and said hello to a variety of different Peter Parkers and Spider-Mans alike. They knew you pretty well by now, seeing how often you brought food by Miguel’s office to be sure he was actually eating. Sometimes they’d keep you company while you waited for him to return.
The door opened slowly, and you expected the pedestal to lower with your super-powered lover atop it. “Miguel, I brought your favorite by,” you called. Yet as the chair he sat at turned around, you caught a sight that was beyond rare.
Head held up by his fist, Spiderman-2099 was out like an absolute light. You sighed quietly as you set the food down and approached him, doing your best to mute your footsteps. Once you were on the pedestal, you felt it begin to raise and panicked slightly.
Lyla appeared out of thin air, hushing you. You smiled in relief, settling yourself on the metal flooring between Miguel’s legs. “Yeah, you might not want to sit there sweetheart,” the AI told you quietly. When you gave her a questioning look, she points to the area of your lover’s crotch.
Even his spider suit did nothing to conceal the bulge growing beneath the synthetic cloth. You blushed a little, peeking your head around the chair to see if anyone else had entered with you. Upon realizing you were alone, you put your hand gently on the man’s inner thigh.
“You’re so worked up love,” you whispered, caressing the skin their. You watched with a knowing look as pixels slowly dissipated to reveal his prominent erection. You weren’t going to question though, taking your lover’s member in your hand and pumping slowly. “You need to relax more.”
Miguel made a soft noise in his slumbering state, but otherwise showed no signs of waking. Perfect. You did your best to be slow and quiet, licking a line up the shaft before swirling your tongue around the head. With enough saliva built up, you slid your way down, bobbing your head at a snail’s pace. You wanted this to be pleasurable for him, not a rude awakening.
And so far, it was. On the occasion, your love would buck his hips up, especially when your tongue swiped over a few specific veins. You did your best not to gag too harshly, tucking your thumb into your fist and holding it tightly.
Every once in a while you would hear him mumble something in Spanish or even your name, which you took as a good sign. One hand you kept on his thigh, massaging the muscles there. The other took to stroking his shaft where you couldn’t quite reach. You had your lover as covered as the multiverse ever would be.
You knew he was close when the little noises got to be more and more frequent. You focused your attention on the head of his cock, laving your tongue over the slit. “Mi amor,” you heard as cum began to hit your tongue and cheek. Miguel groaned softly as he came, hips rising off his chair.
The sound of the door opening caught your attention, causing you to panic. You’re not too sure what made the pedestal remain so still, but your blood was running cold regardless. “I’ll be with you in a minute,” came Miguel’s voice, sounding as cool and calm as ever.
You looked up only to be met with those tired ruby eyes you adored so much. Once the door shut, your hero bent forward a bit as he thumbed the cum from your cheek. He pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead before sitting up straight again.
“Thank you for the respite cariño. Now let me get back to work.”

Blue Lock anime on BachiSagi + How the anime ended up redefining Bachira’s ego in Episode 22
I’ve been thinking a lot about how the anime removed Bachira’s iconic gay line in Episode 22. After the initial anger, I’ve calmed down and thought about how it couldn’t be as simple as removing the gay. After all, Studio 8Bit has been adding extra gay in the First Selection arc. The Come Steal Me scene was also gayer than in the manga. And although Isagi’s feelings for Bachira were toned down in the first cour, they’ve also been emphasizing it in the second cour (example).
I then noticed a pattern. The Blue Lock anime is playing with contrast in portraying Bachira and Isagi’s relationship.
Prior to Bachira’s awakening, we see his feelings for Isagi emphasized a lot. The anime would even add scenes that weren’t there in the manga. It could be a very minor thing like 2 seconds of Bachira staring at Isagi, or a big thing like replacing Igaguri in his interactions with Isagi (example 1, example 2).
The same is true for Isagi’s feelings for Bachira, but in reverse. Prior to the Come Steal Me scene, the anime removed some of Isagi’s minor interactions with Bachira.
I’m no animator, so I don’t really understand the purpose of this approach. Perhaps 8Bit thought that by increasing the contrast of their feelings before and after emotional turning points would make it more obvious to the viewer?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Come Steal Me scene is a clear emotional turning point for Isagi. It’s basically Isagi thinking, “Shit, I love him.”
I remember how caught off guard I was when I reading that part in the manga when Isagi said “I felt like I just lost something important…” I had to go back some chapters to find “proof” of Isagi’s feelings. [I don’t know how it is for people who first experienced that scene through the anime, though. Please tell me your thoughts in this poll. Not putting the poll in this post coz then I won’t be able to edit this later…]
Isagi’s feelings are very subtle, so the anime removing what was already barely there just felt like a disservice. And although they’ve been kinda making up for it by executing all the Isagi-to-Bachira moments after this very well, it doesn’t feel enough.
Now, for Bachira… This is difficult because his emotional turning point isn’t as clear-cut as Isagi’s. The anime, however, decided on this scene:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I absolutely hate this decision.
Because in the manga, the lines were actually a declaration of what exactly Bachira’s voice/ego is. And that ego is: “I’ll win if it kills me and take back Isagi!”
They even cropped out Isagi’s face in the anime to make it solely about Bachira...
Tumblr media
This was such a big BachiSagi moment. Bachira is explicitly telling us here that he will win so he can stay by Isagi’s side. And it’s not exactly him striving just for Isagi, either. It’s more like a reference to Isagi’s words to Reo before: “Don’t be the one who gets chosen. Be the one who gets to choose.”
And before this scene in the anime, they even added this part:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bachira reaching out for Isagi, but only to draw it back...
Such a big disservice there… Bachira’s awakening was complex. He’s saying goodbye to Isagi not only because he wants to be strong enough to stay in Blue Lock, but also because he wants to keep him, even if they can no longer be friends. In a way, it’s a self-sacrificial act. Literally, “I don’t care if I’ll be sad as long as I can stay by his side!”
Adding that underwater hand thing on top of the changed lines turned Bachira’s awakening arc from being deeply rooted in love to one of mere individuality. The anime has completely missed the point...
There are 2 more episodes left, and the next one has another crucial BachiSagi moment. Let’s see how 8Bit wraps up their relationship before I give my final verdict.

🩷More Than Nice
Pairing: Harumi Hasashi(Harumi Shirai)/Kuai Liang Length: 796 Words Rating: General Warnings: Fluff, Feelings Realisation, Bisexual awakening (although kinda in reverse of how this usually happens), Sexuality just be like that sometimes, My crack ship is canon now holy shit
Mortal Kombat Oneshots Masterlist
Notes: AYO, pour one out for me; the one fucker who shipped Harumi/Kuai before it became canon and now has to constantly endure the hatred people have for both this ship and Harumi. 👍🏻 But yeah, this is a short fluff piece I wrote when the preview for Invasions mode was revealed. So again, I’ve had this written and edited for a while, just needed to post it. I always kinda liked the concept of Kuai Liang having a reverse bisexual awakening, where he thought for a long time he was gay, and then bam, Harumi comes along. Sexuality do be like that sometimes, it’s not a rigid as people seem to think. I think it’s interesting to delve into. Anyway, enjoy! The Harumi pegging Kuai porn will come at a later date ;P
Tumblr media
“You don’t look at any other women the way you look at me.”
Kuai Liang looked up from his bowl of miso soup with an extremely cute frown on his face. Harumi knew he’d probably disagree with that description. It was true though. He was very cute. Handsome. Very polite and respectful. A little bit shy and unsure of himself. Some might have said awkward, but that was more the lack of regular socialisation outside of his clan and brothers.
“What do you mean?” He mumbled, keeping his voice low like he did not want anyone to overhear their conversation. She could understand that. Kuai Liang definitely was not used to being around civilians, and especially not used to conversations that weren’t matters of the utmost importance.
It was rare she managed to persuade him to leave the training grounds at all during his visits. He was here to train, as per his father’s request, and that was what he intended to do for the most part.
But occasionally, every now and then, she managed to win him over.
“You look at me the same way you look at the men you train with,” she elaborated, and Kuai cocked his head ever so slightly.
“With respect and admiration?” He questioned, his voice ever so slightly braindead like he was trying a little too hard to act oblivious.
“You know that’s not what I mean.”
It was hard to miss the way Kuai looked at the men he trained with. Well, to her it was, it seemed the men in question hadn’t seen. She couldn’t explain it other than if she were required to give a visual representation of “puppy love”, then Kuai Liang would be it. And initially, he only ever wore that expression around those men.
That was until she realised he was doing the exact same thing with her.
Kuai glanced around, shifting in place, like he couldn’t get comfortable. Finally he looked her directly in the eye, and said “I don’t really know what to tell you.”
He deliberately took a sip of his soup, clearly stalling for time while he could come up with something to say. It was a quirk she’d noticed early on. When he didn’t have a reply straight away, he’d find a reason he couldn’t answer. If that was sipping his soup, taking a drink, or even shovelling about 10 Gyoza into his mouth at the same time.
She still occasionally laughed to herself when she thought about how pudgy his cheeks had become.
“I have always known I was… different,” he finally began after swallowing. “While my peers would discuss the attractiveness of women, there was something…” He bared his teeth slightly like he was trying to think of another word than the one he’d already used. “It was like, they would point out an attractive woman to me, and I could acknowledge that they looked nice, but it was never anything more than that.” He chuckled slightly, although not a happy chuckle, one with a melancholy timbre that broke Harumi’s heart a little. “For the longest time, I simply believed myself to be broken.”
“Oh, Kuai Liang.” It was inconceivable, the idea that he could think there was something wrong with him for something so normal.
“It was a while before I realised that what they were seeing in women, I was seeing in men.” He pursed his lips slightly, glancing down at his bowl. “I believe I am what they refer to as a cut sleeve.” Harumi was vaguely familiar with the term he was referring to, at least enough to understand what he was saying. He was a homosexual. “At least, that is what I had believed until…”
“Until me?” Harumi finished. She wasn’t sure what to make of it, if she was honest.
“Yes, and I know what your next question is going to be,” Kuai said firmly, making sure she couldn’t sneak it in quickly. “You are going to ask me why, and I am not going to be able to answer you, because I don’t know.” Somehow, it seemed like that was the easiest part of everything for him to admit. “I do not know why I feel so differently about you, but I do. You are the first and only woman who I’ve found more than nice.”
“Oh,” Harumi chriped, unable to stop herself from smiling. “Well, I’m very glad to hear that.”
Really, regardless of what Kuai’s sexuality was, it didn’t matter to her. His feelings for her were genuine, she could tell from the way he spoke. She knew she felt the same about him too. Those were really the only two things that mattered.
And somehow, “more than nice” was the greatest compliment she had ever received.

The Creeping Man pt 2
There was a lot going on last time. There was a dog behaving strangely. Its owner behaving even more strangely and at least two professors whose daughters were engaged. Although one of those engagements (the one to another professor) was broken off, I'm pretty sure. And people seem to think that the reason that professor is behaving strangely is because of the engagement? Just a lot going on. I went back to my post about it, but got stuck on that gif I posted of Oscar Isaac licking his fingers, which derailed me a bit.
I was thinking there might be something going on inheritance-wise. But honestly, I'm not sure I have enough information at the moment to judge.
Oh, yeah, and fiancee No. 2, who is the daughter of fiance No. 1, just walked in and is about to tell us a story.
Tumblr media
“I was awakened in the night by the dog barking most furiously. Poor Roy, he is chained now near the stable."
Roy knows something, I'm telling you. If only we could cast Speak with Animals.
"...we all have a feeling of impending danger."
Tumblr media
"My room is on the second floor. It happened that the blind was up in my window, and there was bright moonlight outside. As I lay with my eyes fixed upon the square of light, listening to the frenzied barkings of the dog, I was amazed to see my father's face looking in at me."
More evidence in favour of demonic possession, obviously. Or this is like that Green Wing episode where someone puts a picture of Jesus on the end of a stick and holds it up to windows.
Anyone else watch Green Wing here? Just me?
Coolcool.
Also, 2nd floor is one higher than you think if you're American. In the UK we have Ground floor, then first floor, then second floor.
"It was no delusion, Mr. Holmes."
Delusions, of course, being things that you definitely know if you're having or not. Traditionally.
“The date being September 5th,” said Holmes. “That certainly complicates matters.”
I do not remember anything about the date in part one. But I am assuming that this is important in some way because Holmes is drawing attention to it.
Birthdays? Something that happens on 6th September?
Tumblr media
“Possibly you are thinking of the connection between insanity and phases of the moon?”
I know the etymology of the word lunatic, and yet still when people say things like this I have a moment of wtf.
I feel like it's not the 5th that's important, but the day before or the day after.
"We will therefore call upon him as if he had given us an appointment upon such a date. He will put it down to his own lack of memory."
I know this word gets thrown around a lot, but this is literally gaslighting. That's right, distort the man who is possibly mentally ill's sense of reality even further, Holmes. Go on. Do it.
“I warn you, however, that the professor is irascible and violent at times.”
Does he just have dementia? I mean there's nothing just about dementia, but it feels like maybe he's just... not well. Obviously that's not the case or else there wouldn't be a story and his name wouldn't need clearing or whatever it is. But still... missing time, behaving strangely, violent outbursts?
They might be lying about all of this, of course.
Tumblr media
"There is, if I remember right, an inn called the Chequers where the port used to be above mediocrity and the linen was above reproach."
It's clean and the booze will get you drunk. The highest of praise.
"...an easy effort on the part of Holmes, who had no roots to pull up, but one which involved frantic planning and hurrying on my part, as my practice was by this time not inconsiderable."
Since when? For how? Last we knew Holmes had paid someone to buy your practice so you could move in with him. Then you got married again, and now you're a super successful doctor? When? Where is your wife, btw? Is she dead again?
“I presume that you do not go so far as to assert that I summoned you?” “I would rather answer no questions,” said Holmes.
So you're... not going to gaslight the man who is possibly mentally ill.
Good choice.
“That was my miscalculation. It is evident that his memory is much more reliable than I had thought."
But only because he's not as mentally ill as you thought he was.
Tumblr media
"I have the address of the man in London to whom the professor writes. He seems to have written this morning, and I got it from his blotting-paper."
Oh yeah, he's also writing weird letters after having gone off to Europe for a while to nurse his broken heart. I forgot about that. There's a lot of stuff going on here.
So far he's done nothing but be kind of angry and aggressive.
“Mercer is since your time,” said Holmes.
I know that ACD did not keep track of the time line or give a fuck about continuity, but we haven't seen any real evidence of a gap in Watson hanging around with Holmes. But yay for introducing another random character whom we have never seen and whom we will never see again.
Technically we haven't see him this time, either.
Why would someone crawl down a passageway? Because they're looking for something on the ground? Did he drop something?
We were, I may say, seated in the old sitting-room of the ancient hotel, with a bottle of the famous vintage of which Holmes had spoken on the table between us.
Holmes said the port was 'above mediocrity', which is pretty far from a ringing endorsement. Now it's 'famous'? I bet it's no brandy, though.
“Let us, then, form the provisional theory that every nine days the professor takes some strong drug which has a passing but highly poisonous effect. His naturally violent nature is intensified by it. He learned to take this drug while he was in Prague, and is now supplied with it by a Bohemian intermediary in London. This all hangs together, Watson!”
And the reason for him taking it every 9 days, like clockwork?
Not sure that's how drugs work. I really feel like Holmes would know that.
“But the dog, the face at the window, the creeping man in the passage?”
I'm still not entirely put off the 'doppelganger' explanation for the dog. Then the other two can both be explained as him looking for something. What, I have no idea, but something small enough that he had to crawl around on his hands and knees to find it.
Diamonds?
Tumblr media
"In the meantime we can only keep in touch with friend Bennett and enjoy the amenities of this charming town.”
And its famous, not-mediocre port, I guess.

The Tale Of The Bloodline | TWICE MiSaMo (Mina, Sana & Momo) x Male Reader- CHAPTER 5: “The Newest Addition”
Tumblr media
Previously on CHAPTER 4: "The Bloodline's Expectations"... Meanwhile at the same time from The Bloodline's household, a mysterious person who is in charge of the confined Jinyoung is working out at the gym when she got notified of Mina's phone call to her. Wiping off her sweat using a towel, she picks it up and placed it on her ear. "What?"
"Yuta wants me to tell you something."
"Spill it out. I'm in the middle of my workout here." She said as she drank a cold water in her tumbler.
"Sorry to interrupt then. Well, I'll be quick. I'm in the middle of the road too with YN." Mina apologized.
"Yuta wants me to inform you that he decided to bring you with us in September 3. He wants you to do him a favor."
"I suppose there's a return I can get?"
"Main roster debut. He already have it cleared." Mina answered. "You ready for a war?"
The woman cracked her neck and smickered. "We're always taking it all, Mina. Ofcourse, I am... and tell Yuta that it's settled."
The call ended as the woman faced the punching bag and started doing massive blows again, with the desire for annihilation in the main roster as she finally joins her family's side clouding her mind.
Tumblr media
Later at that same night, Minatozaki Sana participated in the Fatal 5 Way match with the winner will get awarded as the number #1 contender to face the current Intercontinental Champion in the roster at the upcoming September premium live event Clash In The Combat officially announced by general manager Bang Sihyuk. Unfortunately, Sana was one of the 4 fighters who failed to achieve the victory as one of them instead took the pin and secure a chance at the said championship match. Sana felt sad and upset at herself for not turning what she and Yuta agreed on to be a reality. She wanted to make Yuta proud of her but again, she failed. She believed that she had that advantage already but the moment stole it from her, and now it's making her blame the fault at herself because she's the one who did the failure of accomplishing her task. It wasn't too late though, as what she keeps on saying to herself. She can still able to understand that not every time will favor on what she wants. She just have to keep moving forward and be grateful that atleast she's still managing to maintain her relationship with The Bloodline, but she assures that it will turn out soon that she'll finally succeed to make Yuta acknowledge her to be part of their faction and somehow... began to easily impress herself more on him once they had a wider closeness between each other. Without anyone's knowledge, the real reason why she's so motivated in getting close with them especially Yuta is that... Sana wanted to be friends with them while she's keeping a secret of having an affection for the The Empire Chief. This was her strategy to prove herself how worthy she can be and attempt him to share the same feelings she's having. Although so far, she wasn't seeing any signs; she could tell that Yuta was getting along with her and that's fine enough for her. It may be going slow but atleast it's moving. It ain't going to be a distraction though, that's why she can somehow set aside her feelings either when he's in front of The Bloodline or exactly at Yuta. The important thing remains and that is to stick at the plan of strengthening their bond just as what she always wanted from the start. Back at her the next move she has in mind, Sana knew that Yuta will be addressing the audience tonight by showing up live in the arena before the show ends; so she decided to standby at the backstage by keeping an eye on her Empire Chief in case something goes wrong despite of the recent bumps and hits her body took during the match, as well as to strive redeeming herself for the loss she took earlier. Transitioning to the scope of the arena where the show is still on air, the crowd was awakened and thrilled for the arrival of the Empire Chief and the current Japan Combat Federation World Champion Yuta Nakamoto when his final-boss like entrance theme played around the arena. He made his way inside the ring in a pace he prefers to allow the crowd to acknowledge and respect his presence in their eyes. As he got what he always wanted whenever he shows up as the main event champion, he starts off his segment with the message he has in store for everyone to hear. "Alright, here's the deal." Yuta said in his microphone, focusing back at the camera filming him after roaming around in the center of the ring. "I'm not here every week anymore. So, everyone's in a while people gonna come here and say some STUPID STUFF." He tightlipped and slightly extended his head forward as he spoke the last words slowly and loudly. "If anyone ever comes out here and say in my face that the face of the company is not me, they're lying." Yuta crumpled his expression at how absurd it is. "If anyone ever comes out here and saya that they're the main event and it's not me, they're lying." He repeated the way he reacted. "And if ever they come out here and say that they are carying this company on their backs..." Yuta stared directly at the camera and went closer. "Kim Jennie, YOU'RE LYING." He looked away and turns his attention again at the crowd. "There's only one who can say all of that with all honesty and truth, and that is your Highness Of The Land and The Empire Chief, Yuta Nakamoto!" He said with intensity in his deep voice. "I told you all many many time and I'm a man of my word! What I say has substance here, so I don't have to say anything face to face to Jennie because she's beneath me-" Yuta didn't get to finish his speech when he glared at the entranceway as the battle theme of Kim Jennie suddenly played to alert everyone on his appearance. "She's here, and I don't think it sits well for the Korean Warrior Kim Jennie!" commentator Knight Yoo says as Jennie trails into the path across the ring where The Empire Chief is standing alone, observing his approach with pure calmness. Jennie mentioned last week that when gasoline was added to the fire, things are going to get hotter and what she's hearing again from Yuta himself tonight is what fuels her adrenaline to put shame on his egotistical enemy on their road to their collision at Clash In The Combat by taking off the title from him. Her entire career she built in this company has been heartfelt and emotional for her and she aims to climax it 2 weeks for tonight at her hometown Seoul, South Korea by doing that. Jennie reaches a mic from a personnel and stands in front of Yuta, eyeing him with seriousness. "Now I would love to say right into your face what you've been saying recently but as you mentioned, you're not really always here anymore so I'm going straight to the point." She stepped closer, inches away from Yuta; furrowing her eyebrows. "I don't think you represent those titles the way they deserve to be represented that you did not deserve to be a champion!" Yuta's head went back and forth as he represented a puzzled look, furrowed cock-eye and stretched lips as he tries to process the critique he just received from an unlikely person. He lowered his sight to see the world title belt wrapped in his waist then glanced back at the stoic Jennie. "I don't deserve it? I don't deserve to be a champion?! After everything I just said, you did not understand-" "YOU DON'T DESERVE IT. YOU HEARD ME!" Jennie snaps. Yuta's lips twitched in the increasing anger inside him. " You want me to tell you why? Let's look at these past couple of years, the wiseman has been serving at you politically, you got the Myouis, the Bloodline; working for you physically and taking bullets for you and sure, when you guys are all together ofcourse... yeah! You're the Bloodline, no one can take down the Bloodline, probably you are in god mode but let me remind you this: YOU'RE.JUST. A. MAN!" Jennie daringly pointed her fingers at Yuta who's giving her death stare filled with impulsive fire beneath those orbs at the continous backlash he's getting. "And right now, I can see something different in your eyes... but it's just you and I. I see fear." Yuta kept on tilting his head to avoid Jennie's long-stayed glare at him as soon as she even went closer. "I see some concern and you should be scared because there's no one that me, Kim Jennie can tear apart with my bare hands." The camera directed at Yuta and Jennie doing a heated stare down at one another, the crowd is feeling the anticipation and intense this match is going to be. At Clash In The Combat, I'm going to tear you apart and I'm going to take that title from you." Yuta choked at Jennie's warning, pursing his lips arrogantly as if he's silently encouraging Jennie to do something impossible. Jennie leaned back when she realized something. "You know what? We're alone tonight, and it seems like a unqiue opportunity since you're here in the arena too, you don't have the Bloodline. I definitely feel like I want a fight here in Nagoya!" Jennie threw the mic out of the ring and most of the crowd began to stand up to witness an impending brawl. Yuta did the same and the two traded hits until Yuta surpassed, luring Jennie into the turnbuckle where she took series of blows around her body. It didn't stopped her from being dominated as Jennie found a sneak spot, hitting Yuta in the kidney then stabbed a knee to his thigh as he stumbled, then she took the turn to give him couple of slaps and chops in his cheek and chest. Jennie stepped back to give herself a momentum once Yuta was left in the center, she ran after and performs a neckbreaker to Yuta. She quickly stood up, eyeing the harmed Yuta clutching the back of his head in pain as he rolled in the turnbuckle. Jennie went to the other side parallel to his and taunted Yuta as she sets herself up to attack Yuta with her Pink Venom rocket kick. The crowd then slowly became loud with their noises as Jennie finally charges towards Yuta but with the additional help by the camera filming the fight, the people watching in their homes also realized that Jennie didn't eventually kicked Yuta... ... but rather he was replaced by Minatozaki Sana who just arrived in the scene, enters the ring and pushes Yuta off to sacrificingly allow herself get kicked instead by Jennie in the face. Distracted, Jennie wasn't ready when Yuta unleashed a superman punch on her. She hold her cheek that went contact with Yuta's fist as she went down in the ring, enabling Yuta to be the one to set himself up this time in the corner while he concerningly and confusingly checked on Sana who saved him. Yuta screams out the beast inside of him as he taunts Jennie but as he was about to deliver a spear to her, Jennie countered it with another Pink Venom but this time it went successfully onto Yuta who gasped at the impact that hit his face. "Jennie is right! Yuta is vulnerable if the Bloodline wasn't here!" Knight Yoo calls as Jennie entertained the hyped crowd as she picks up the world title belt laid at the side of the ring. "Poor Sana took a bullet for Yuta, but Yuta got a Pink Venom as well!" commentator Lee Kwangsoo recapped after. "Will this be the scene at Clash In The Combat as Kim Jennie ends the record setting reign of Yuta Nakamoto? Will this going to be Jennie's night at her own hometown Seoul, South Korea?" Knight laid all the possible questions suited for this match as the show ends with Jennie climbing the turnbuckles as she raised the world title belt with the fans cheering out loud for her. ---------------------------------------------- 1 WEEK LATER / August 29, 2023 Sana just entered The Bloodline locker room and immediately met all the people inside: YN, Mina and Jinyoung all standing up in the corner except for one which is Yuta who is sitting comfortably on his personal chair. "Should I-" "Yeah, you know what to do." Yuta understood what she's about to meant. Sana sat beside him. "So uhm, how's everything going?" Sana asked as she groaned at her stiff body sinking at the softness of the seat. "I'm good. What about you?" "I'm okay, I guess. Gotta be honest though, my jaw still sore a little after last week when remember-" Sana answered but Yuta followed right away, didn't want to hear it specifically. "Yeah, you lost." Yuta changed the topic real quick, sending Sana into an instant shame and guilt for herself. Sana caressed her hair behind and shyly looked at Yuta. "I- I did technically lose, that's true yeah." Yuta smiled. "But sometimes, bad things happen right? So we can redeem ourselves." Sana looked at Yuta surprisingly, recognizing that his words were the exact ones she's thinking about last week. She blushed a bit at how they do kinda shared the same mindset. "T-that's right, that's how I see it too!" Sana looked at The Myouis for a second as she found it impressive. "Well, you think I forgot?" Yuta smirked. Sana bit her lips and forcefully contained a giggle of self-reproach. "By the way, about last week. I was alone." Yuta became serious while he kept on looking at Sana. "I needed somebody to help me out, and I appreciate what you did for me. That's something a family would do." Sana's cheeks are now forming beet red spots at Yuta's touching words. "I'm happy to do it, I really am." Sana nodded along with her charming smile. "I want you to know that you can count on me for anything, really." Yuta interlocked his fingers and sat straight, huffing out an air in relief. "Well, that's good to hear... because I need another favor from you." "Name it." Sana spreaded her arms welcomely. "I need Jennie occupied. I need her distracted, eyes off the ball." "Look, I got a match with her tonight and you could have asked the right person, I'm the master strategist Minatozaki Sana and that's what I do." Sana chuckled as she pointed at herself. "That's what you do. Yup." "I get inside people's head, I make myself comfortable there, I'm throwing out a blanket and I'm doing a picnic while having a little dance~" Sana daydreamed while effortlessly showing her dance move she's talking about, unbeknowst to the rest it was the dance from one of her favorite K-Pop song titled "Mr. Taxi" by Girls Generation. Yuta grinned at Sana's sillyness. "That's the dance you did?" "Yeah, I'm dancing like this in her head!" Sana cheerfully said as she continued pumping up and down her fists and arms while Yuta hilariously pointed her at YN and Mina who's observing her. YN was trying to hold out a laughter in the corner, covering his mouth to repel the noise he nearly made. "She won't know what's what, by the time he gets to Seoul; you're gonna break her in half!" Sana punched her palm. "You got this, it's gonna be a piece of cake! In fact, I was thinking maybe this is something we can do all together right? Like as a unit. The Bloodline, it could be a type of bonding for all of us." "That's sounds good but the thing is, you put The Bloodline out there, you put me The Empire Chief and i'm extremely distracting, it's nice about you. That's what I'm saying." "And you command respect, that's fine." Sana nodded. "You know what, I appreciate the opportunity letting me go out there, do this on my own." Yuta proceeds on agreeing at what Sana say, nodding and grinning back at her. "Thank you, Yuta!" "You have the opportunity to be the main event, I don't take that lightly." Yuta confidently stated. Sana slowly stands up from her seat, looking around at The Bloodline with a satisfied feeling. She went to Mina and the two embraced. "I got this. Thank you again everyone, so much." "Good luck, muse." Mina said to her with a small smile. And when Sana was done on Mina as she tried to invite YN for a hug too, YN's eyes largened for a second before it switches to a squint as his brows furrowed, instead pushing Sana away by pointing her the door way out of the locker room. "Alright then." Sana just accepted YN's cold act and exits out of the room. ----------------- 3 DAYS LATER / August 29, 2023 Their ambush was executed perfectly as they closed Friday Night Knockdown with a brutality when Nakamoto Yuta  along with his cousins Myoui YN and Mina emerges after Sana's loss over Jennie and teams up on the babyface fighter with blended attacks on her. Jennie was squad stomped, smashed by three steel chairs one by one repeatedly, ate a spear from Yuta and double frog splashes by The Myouis respectively and many more until it stopped when Yuta poses for a camera shot along with The Myouis and the recovered Sana behind him as he sat in a steel chair that traps the destroyed Jennie's head and neck beneath. Now at tonight's Monday Night War, the Knockdown-drafted fighters Sana and The Myouis visited the show to address the crowd until they got interrupted by one of the actual War-drafted fighter in the roster Choi Miyeon, clarifying them that this show was never theirs and it has always been hers. Miyeon also reminded them that their cousin slash big boss Yuta still owes her one after they feuded 3 times two years ago at the early days of his reign but all were ended up unsuccessful to her. Sana tried to warn her friend Miyeon to stay out but she refuses. Miyeon walks onto the ring and told YN how she doesn't forget that he and Jinyoung were responsible from preventing her to win the title before. She targeted YN and issued a challenge on him which was booked offically later by Sihyuk to be part of the show. During the match, YN is the top rope, focusing on Miyeon who is laid exhausted on the middle. He did a splash but Miyeon prevented, pushing her both knees up that will block YN's collision to her body. YN grunted in pain and it gave Miyeon time to roll him for a pinfall but he kicked out. Miyeon stood up and superkicked YN in the face then gave another one to Mina after her instincts made her aware of the distraction she's doing by confronting the referee. With the advantage in her hands, Miyeon climbs to the top rope as YN switched positions with her this time and unlike him, she executed a frog splash perfectly and covers him up which sadly didn't work as he still kicked out. Miyeon pulls up YN to get him ready for her finisher called Blow Your Mind which is a stunner, but YN returns to his consciousness and punches Miyeon in the stomach before locked her head and performed a DDT to pause her rate of winning probability. Rolling out of the ring, he meets up with Sana and Mina who are watching on the ringside to support her. YN faced Sana and commanded her. "Get a chair." "What?" "I said, get a chair!" Sana was troubled when YN told her to do so, but with Mina's encouragement by repeating it again with calmness that its part of YN's strrategy to attempt securing a victory for this match made her finally move as she complied by picking up one of the spare steel chairs in the timekeepers area. Mina followed through the plan, intentionally trying to enter the ring which caused the referee to warn her and create a complete distraction, it permitted YN to drag Miyeon's head and press it it on the middle rope to present it on Sana who's holding the chair. "Do it!" YN shouted. Sana started to hesitate, realizing that she's being asked to hit her friend in exchange of helping YN to win. She panickedly looked at him and Mina as she finalizes her choice. "DO IT!!!" Sana was still having second choice, her body is still in a stance where she's about to do it. YN has no other choice but to let go of Miyeon when Mina left the referee to check on the conflicted Sana. "What are you doing?! You're supposed to hit her with a chair!" Mina complained as she talks with Sana who is still occupied because of the state her friend is currently having. "T- the referee has caught us!" Sana excused as nervously saw the referee warning her after seeing her drop the chair near the barricade. "I was distracting the referee! You should've hit her with the chair that's the plan!" Mina argued back at her. "Ask YN he saw w-what happened!" "What are you talking about?!" YN frustratedly loosened his grip on the ropes as he listened and watched Sana and Mina's miscommunication. While two continued to discuss about what happened, YN received a surprise Blow My Mind from Miyeon who already spent enough time to recollect his energy and strike back at YN who got inattentive from the altercation between Sana and Mina. The referee counted and it reached the three, late for Sana to hurriedly end her conversation with Mina as she realized that YN is going to lose by trying to enter the ring and break the pin. Sana was left frozen, speechless and responsible for the mistake as she just stared at Miyeon who is celebrating her victory to the ramp while yelling at her inaudibly that she doesn't froget what Yuta did to her while YN and Mina are glaring at Sana in discontent. --------------------------------------------------- 5 DAYS LATER / September 3, 2023 The first September's Saturday evening is the time set for Japan Fightful Federation to finally held their newly produced fight show Clash In The Combat as it is scheduled to take place outside of Japan: Seoul, South Korea. The Korean fans of the said company were introduced from the match card consisting the event. Some results were satisying, some were not but that didn't stopped everyone from watching and enjoying the shown especially that the last match and the main event for tonight is the most anticipated out of them all. It's Kim Jennie vs. Nakamoto Yuta for the Japan Fightful Federation World Championship. Before the match started, The Myouis and Park Jinyoung who were escorting Yuta  in his entrance were requested by the Empire Chief himself to return at the backstage as he suggested to face Jennie alone. They were hesitatnt at first but listened afterwards, granting Yuta's request by leaving him. Meanwhile, Sana was unable to participate and join them for their side tonight due to an unexpected and untimely fever. Her sickness resulted for her absence and she informed The Bloodline about it, and they were completely fine about it because she deserves to rest for now. Yuta told Sana that he will dedicate this win for her before the call ended, causing Sana to blush weakly in her resting bed at Yuta's heartwarming deed. In the midst of the awesome showdown between these two warriors, Jennie was the one who is leading the competition as she gave punches after punches at the bloody Yuta whose head accidentally bumped on one of the metal shards covering the ringpost. She managed to make Yuta dizzy, so she enveloped Yuta's head and hooked both his arms as she slammed backwards, hitting him for an underhook DDT before she entertained the fans with a kip-up and an encouraging gestures to the fans. Raising her hand up in the air as she went to the corner to set herself up that will bring Yuta to the karma he belongs and send justice to everyone who fell victim in his reign, Jennie counts down as the crowd joined her in support. "3....2....1!" "The end of the reign! PINK VENOM!" Knight exclaimed as Jennie capably knocked out Yuta for greated good with her rocket kick of a finishing move. "We're gronna crown a brand new world champion!" Knight added as the referee began to count own while the Seoul citizens cheered and chanted along with the official. "1...2..-" "AWWWWWWWW!" The Seoul crowd reacted distastefully when they saw the referee got yanked out of the ring by a certain force. The camera focused on this accountable mysterious black clothed figure who eyed down the aching referee in the ringside. "Jennie was going to win when this unknown person just grabbed the referee's leg and throw him out of the ring- OH MY GOD!!!" Jennie lets go of Yuta's leg as she confusedly realized that the referee didn't counted up to three. She rotated her head and witnessed also the face of the person who ruined her moment. "That's- NO WAY- Kwangsoo, t-that's..." The mysterious person finally removes the hood blocking off the face, making a quite loud reaction from the fans. She revealed her identity, Jennie, half of the crowd and the rest of the production team of the company were all familiar at this person that turns out to be a WOMAN staring down with fierce at Jennie. "That is Hirai Momo, The Myoui's younger cousin!" Knight introduces Momo to Kwangsoo and to the other people watching from their TVs about who is she. "The fighting machine, the meanest in the bunch, the federation's developmental program standout, Yuta's cousin and another member of the Nakamoto family is here to cost Jennie the World Championship and help her cousin out!" Knight says as everyone watches Jennie reaches for Momo's hair and pull it towards her, making Momo to hop in the ring but the referee broke up the two while warning both possible disqualification. Not wanting it to happen, Jennie lets go from Momo but as she turns around she was met by an emphatic spear by Yuta. The referee counted to three and it completed. The Seoul crowd booed as the announcer declared Yuta's win and still the Japan Federation World Champion for 700 plus days. Yuta raised the title and presented himself as the defending champ in front of the devastated, saddened and unamused Seoul crowd for the loss of their pick and their very own hometown representative Kim Jennie. Yuta exits the ring and reunites with Momo who's waiting for him. The two both nodded at each other and Yuta smirked at her as they began to walk out of the arena triumphantly after accomplishing two important things to do for tonight: retain the title for The Bloodline and let the people be introduced to the newest addition in their group through a surprise appearance which would serve also as the main roster debut, in the name of Hirai Momo.

× I became the male leads adoptive daughter ×
"I will adopt a child."
Pelio Borreoti's impulsive decision flipped the entire duchy upside down.
He brought a child, who harbored the darkness just like him, from an orphanage.
Not only did he make her his daughter, he even gave her the name of a 'beast' that only the direct descendants of the family were allowed to succeed.
Featuring the strongest, most awesome father in the world.
A daughter with a corrupted(?) childhood innocence.
And lastly, a stepmother(?) with a peculiar secret.
My note : don't let the cover fool you, both father and daughter are psycho's in the best way possible. Out of all the female leads, This one is the funniest in the most dangerous way possible. Also she LOVES muscles.

one person asked me to share my thoughts on the Red White & Royal Blue movie and that’s all i need so here you go! spoilers below
Okay so let’s start with the things I did like:
Taylor and Nick had AMAZING chemistry. They did a fantastic job with what they were given and I can genuinely envision them as the book characters. All the cast did a great job.
The scene with Alex and Ellen was so heart touching. As a queer person who’s come out to their parent and not been accepted, I almost started bawling when I saw Ellen holding Alex on the couch and telling him how much she loves and accepts him. It was a beautiful thing to see and I’m so happy we have more of that kind of representation in media; a safe space to come out and be yourself. Also Ellen’s knowledge of all the different labels in the community and her saying “The B in LGBT isn’t silent” is super empowering.
On that note, Alex’s speech at the end about privacy and how it’s your choice to come out (if you want to come out). Again, a very important message for people to hear and understand. Seeing the effects of being outed hopefully will open people’s eyes and we’ll see less pressure for people to come out or label themselves. And also hopefully people will stop butting into celebs lives in general.
To end the short list of things I liked: the bit with the phone calls was done in a clever way. I thought it was pretty cool, although it felt too much like walmart Heartstopper.
Now, on to everything I didn’t like about this movie
The writing was SO. FREAKING. LAZY. 90% of the movie is exposition. All tell no show. They pretty much only payed attention to the sex scenes and even those weren’t very interesting.
THEY CUT SO MANY THINGS. When I heard they cut June and Rafael, I was disappointed but figured it was to save time and they’d combine their stories with Nora/Liam respectively (which is what I heard). To my absolute disappointment, neither was done and on top of that they introduced this new character named Miguel who is nothing more than a jealous ex hookup. Not only that, they erased Alex’s parent’s divorce and Henry’s mother, two very important parts of their character backstories.
Continuing on about things that were cut, pretty much any actual bonding time we see with Henry and Alex in the book was reduced to short one-minute scenes and cheap montages. Instead they were replaced with beats that were 15-seconds too long that were meant to say something but simply didn’t translate properly.
Also, they completely cut out Alex’s whole awakening and immediately jumped to him coming out to Henry when they meet up after their first kiss. I get it made for a cute little haha funny banter moment but COME ON. Part of Alex’s character arc is him coming to terms with who he is after denying it for so long, and seeing that process is so important to show for people who are doing the same.
The movie felt so fast paced. Every ten minutes a new important story beat happened without giving the audience any real time to process whatever happened before that. By the time they were in Paris I had no interest in them “making love” for the first time.
I’m gonna make an example of this before it stands out as the most annoying thing to me still. The museum scene is a masterpiece in the books but on the big screen it’s so…bad. Half of the scene was done in voiceover for no reason (once again going back to exposition) and the other half was so boring I could barely pay attention. And the “history, huh?” moment being a spoken thing between them, as opposed to through email like in the book’s completely erases the basis all of their supporters held onto in the books. All the signs, the t-shirts, the graffiti, the way they did it in the movie makes it so none of that could exist.
I really wish we saw Alex’s side of things when they got exposed, especially the way it effected his mother’s campaign. I wanted to see him he told he’s off the campaign and how badly it hurt him. Instead we got one scene of exposition and a single shot of him gushing abt Henry and saying he misses him.
From a cinematography perspective, there was some very pretty shots that were obviously made to turn into promo posters.
That’s pretty much all I got for now off the top of my head. I’ve been trying to cleanse my brain of the film for the past 4 hours lmao
If you have your own opinions, please share respectfully!! I want to hear what you liked or disliked about this.

I think what is pissing me off so badly about Tears of the Kingdom’s story – or at least the part of the story that is told through the geoglyphs – is that I feel so much importance and agency was removed from Zelda and foisted onto Rauru in order to make him the focal, important narrative character. To explain in more detail:
Breath of the Wild is very much Zelda’s story. Although we play as Link, Link serves his titular role well in that through the memories we gain, we learn about Zelda – her struggles, and her character development. The story of 100 years ago is as much about Zelda’s struggles in awakening her sacred power as it is her triumph over everything that plagued her during her life: the expectations of her father and her kingdom, the feelings of worthlessness and failure on her shoulders, and Calamity Ganon himself.
And through it all, we see that Zelda’s story is one of her own agency; although expectations are thrust upon her shoulders, Zelda herself is the one who makes decisions every step of the way to do what she feels must be done. She travels to each of the sacred springs, she researches the Guardians and searches for alternatives to fight Ganon in case her power doesn’t awaken, she journeys to ask the Champions for their assistance, she travels with Link and gets to know him. Zelda is the one who saves Link’s life by telling Impa and Robbie to take him to Shrine of Resurrection, Zelda is the one who takes the Master Sword to Korok Forest to be protected, and Zelda is the one who imprisons Calamity Ganon in Hyrule Castle. For the first time in the series’ history, Zelda was the one who trapped and imprisoned Ganon, not the other way around. And she held him there for one hundred years. That takes a level of strength and fortitude no other character in the series can lay claim to. Although the game was pitched as Link having to save Zelda, not only did she save him first, but in the end it really was HER sealing power that sealed Calamity Ganon after Link dealt the final blow. She did that.
In Tears of the Kingdom, though . . . as soon as Zelda is yeeted into the past, she becomes a passive character for most of the flashbacks. Her personality is diluted into her saying “oh” and, at times almost timidly, voicing her thoughts on things to Rauru or Sonia. She never brings up Calamity Ganon, though she alludes to the name Ganondorf giving her pause; she lays the salvation of Hyrule entirely on Link’s shoulders instead of telling them how she awakened to her sacred power and was the one to finally seal him; we don’t once see her doing ANY research on her own even though she LOVES research and was actively searching for alternative methods to fight Calamity Ganon when she couldn’t get her own powers to work; when Sonia is killed she does literally NOTHING against Ganondorf . . . I could go on. Zelda only takes initiative after Rauru has already sacrificed himself to seal Ganondorf beneath the castle. The first real initiative we see her take is to turn herself into a dragon, which – okay, mood, but also it’s a complete departure from the driven young woman we saw in Breath of the Wild, who pushed herself past the point of exhaustion time and again even after her own father told her that her people thought that she was “heir to a throne of nothing.” Hell, we didn’t even see her start nerding out over being in the past and meeting the people she’d read about; it was a departure even from the little geek-outs that we saw in the very beginning of the game!
It’s a complete disappointment, and one made worse by Rauru’s existence. Now, one could say that Rauru’s light power is meant to allude to the Sage of Light in past games. After all, he DOES share the same name as the Sage of Light from Ocarina of Time. But Sonia explicitly says that Zelda’s power is the same as Rauru’s power, and Zelda’s power is Hylia’s power, which is supposed to only come from the blood of the goddess and only activate in women . . . and Rauru is both a man and is clearly not of Hylia’s bloodline. In fact, it’s kind of implied (imo) that Rauru married into the Hyrulean Royal Family, although that makes no sense because: a.) Hyrule would need to already exist in that case, and b.) he wouldn’t be King in that case, he would be King Consort, and Sonia would have been the one ruling the kingdom.
But then, that brings us to Nintendo’s misogyny problem.
The Zelda series is a weird case where in past games, there was actually a lot of focus on female characters, and particularly female characters in positions of power. Ocarina of Time, as much as I feel it is overrated, is a great example of this; we learn that Hyrule’s polytheistic religion is focused around three female deities (Din, Nayru, Farore), and five of the seven sages are female (Zelda, Saria, Ruto, Impa, Nabooru). Zelda herself plays a huge role in the game as not only is she the seventh sage, but she is also Sheik, who teaches Link all of the songs he needs to travel to the various temples. She played an active role even if she did ultimately end up captured, and this is a trend that continued in later games, such as when she fought Ganondorf alongside Link in Wind Waker’s climax and also partnered up with him in Spirit Tracks.
But then we have ways in which Nintendo seems to have been walking back some of this lore, such as how they went from goddesses to speaking of the power of gods in the aforementioned Wind Waker, and how they’ve now decided to do away with everything established in Skyward Sword to instead make it seem like the sacred power comes not from a female goddess (Hylia) but instead a goatman from the sky. We also see a gender imbalance among the cast; whereas the Champions were evenly divided by gender in Breath of the Wild (Urbosa and Mipha for the ladies, Daruk and Revali for the gents), we now have three boys (Sidon, Tulin, Yunobo) to one lady (Riju). Of course, this was a problem that was set up in Breath of the Wild . . . but at the same time, if they weren’t going to have Teba be the new Champion/Sage, then there was no reason why the new Champion/Sage couldn’t have been a female Rito. They could have easily gone with one of Kass’s daughters, or hell, even Teba’s wife, and they chose not to
But to me, the shift to focus on Rauru is the bigger issue, because of everything that comes with it. Because now he, not Hylia, is the source of Zelda’s power. Because Hylia isn’t even mentioned at the goddess statues anymore (and while it didn’t make sense for them to worship her instead of the big three in the first place, I’d still rather have that than this). Because he was apparently the founder of Hyrule even though that makes no goddamn sense. Because the technology that came from his people replaced everything that the Sheikah did. Because the Sheikah didn’t even get one iota of representation in the past flashbacks despite the fact that they were there before Skyloft even descended to guard Hylia and her bloodline. And I’m getting off track again, but moving Zelda to the background and removing her agency and her personality in order to try to get me to care about this skygoat (which failed, btw) just . . . bothered me, a lot.
I know I can write this whole game off as just a “what if” fanfic, because Breath of the Wild stands as a self-contained story that didn’t need any of this. And I probably am going to do that, but I’m still just . . . so immensely bothered by this. I finished the geoglyph flashbacks and saw that Zelda is now a dragon (which – are they trying to say that Din, Nayru, and Farore were mortals who decided to become dragons? Is that where Dinraal, Naydra, and Farosh came from? That better not be the implication here), and I’m sure she’ll get turned back in the end, but this is just . . . a hot mess. And the tilt toward monotheism in the Zelda Lore, and also the centering of male characters, just . . . bugs me, a lot. In the end, I don’t like this Rauru any more than I liked OoT Rauru, which is to say, I really don’t care for them.
Sonia was good, though. I did like Sonia.

So killua represented snakes twice in CAA
Whenever I think about it, his fighting style always resembled the fuid movements of snakes, but it've been stated outright only twice
Symbolically snakes can mean a two faced person, evil, and most importantly here: reincarnation
They can also be linked to the Zaoldyck family (all zeno attacks have the Chinese dragon, which looks like a snake, there are also some of em on top of the testing gates, also in the same arc kalluto represented one too)
First time was in fight against mostiquo lady
It's the first time in a while where hes asked to kill
He *switched on* his bloodlust
Shows how well controlled it is in comparison to say the hunter exam arc
(Also haha electricity boy go)
His attack was called "*Snake* awakening" (more accurate translation provided by me: snake coming back to life/ resustication)
The word indicates that the snake remains desactivated within him/dormant, but he can chose to revive it when needed as easily as a switch
Although that means that he cant erase it
Neither that he counts it as part of himself
(two faced/the Zaoldyck part of himself)
(Manga doesnt show it being switch off after so that's not important)(but anime does thx madhouse ((: )
The second time it comes up is against the fight with Ramoth
He is a shrike hare(rabbit??) hybrid
First thing first shrike and hares can beat/ eat snakes in the wild which means they are equal in the food chain to em(?), hence why killua is scared of him
(Also snakes that eats insects (mostiquos) r very small)
Shrikes tho (the show made a point to SPECIFY their type) can ALSO be a reference to reincarnations
*Apparent when ramoth giving the rest of the ants nen, aka rereviving them as he gave em nen*
So killua fight the guy til he takes out the needle(his own reincarnation!!) Then he beats him
In a fight between two reincarnation with killua winning in such a brutal way It feels like the moral is that the ants may evolve but they can't beat human growth, in power, in evil
cus humans malise is worse than the ants's ect ect
The anime makes a point to make his hoody violet (Zaoldyck color) and to give him Zaoldyck ost(flute version instead of the og)
=Instead of his Zaoldyck side being forced on him by family n him trying to hide it/keep it controlled( more on this l8r), now he choses to go full on out=
This is apparent in the way he killed em both:
Mostiquo lady: he cracked her neck, then said that if she behaved he'll kill her faster
Almost merciful
The time he and gon fought ramoth the 1st time was also merciful, neither tried to kill him, just electrecute/ punch him afar
Now the 2nd fight with Ramoth: killua made a show to kill him exactly like he killed Johns in the Hunter Exam
with crushing his vital organ after showing it to him
The pages in the manga are very similar
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ramoth could feel/see his head flyingout of his body
While mostiquo lady died immediately
***
If we compare Johns fight with ramoth's
killua gave a warning instead of faking innocence, He also wasnt smug after the kill, instead he was very dismissive of it
Its shows that he got a grasp of how the world works, like instead of it being a superiority match he was doing it out of protection n he understood that what he was doing was wrong
Cus he understands how the world works now
Cus he gets that murder is wrong
It shows that killua didnt change since day one, he just got more experience
It shows that Killua even after all this time still thinks he's fucked up and evil, cant change for good
Tho unlike the hunter exam, he is not flaunting it proudly, he think he has to do it, cus HE is the evil one (this one meta by @whipshaw explains it perfectly, he got nuked tho so idk if it's still here THANKS TUMBLR)
Maybe that's why he was STRONGLY against gon killing any ant other than pitou(?) Taking them all out on his own
*He spends heaven arena and Greed island trying his best not to harm
Saving zushi in secret in peace is one
In the fight against the bomb devils he is the one who turned up with the least hurt guy (thanks aspoonofsugar and their great Illumi/killua meta)
He was trying his best to keep himself away from killing cus, well that him :)) , but in this context he might of thought that it was the least he could do in order to be good
When he had NO CHOICE other than killing, he embraced the fact that he has to be a "villain"
The moment he took off the needle was powerful, but I dont think that it means emotional growth as much as it means killua being able to SEE clearly (his words), ...not enough tho :(
Love the fact that election arc is spent with the Zaoldycks complaining how dumb/ kind killua is tho

Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Official Interview
Vol. 1 Satoru Gojo Role: Yuichi Nakamura
Tumblr media
--Please tell us your impression when you read the original work and scenario of "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death." Nakamura: It's necessary to the overall flow of the tale; it's an episode to understanding what incident happened in the past. Even a crucial existence to the main story: the name "Tengen" appears. To say, it's like the basis of this world; it left me the impression that it's an explanation of how this world is the way it is. I felt, even while it's a story of the past, it's an important story firmly connecting to what happens next.
--What kind of parts in "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" are highlights? Nakamura: Even though Satoru Gojo had high ability since he was born, it was through this episode he awakens. The flow of how his ability matures, I believe will be the highlight of this story.
--Please tell us the charm of Satoru Gojo, who you portray. Nakamura: I've always passed this by answering, "I don't know," so, that's all I can say. I myself have to make the character in the work "live" to become them. On top of that, I don't bother thinking about 'this person's charm is this,' and I don't know what it is…… Even if I do see him on the air and think a scene is cool, I can't pinpoint exactly how. For me, there are times regarding other characters-- seeing how they grow, their backbone, seeing all kinds of facets-- because of things like that, I think they're cool. In that sense, this time there's a little peek into the backbone of Gojo, who is called The Strongest. I'd like it if you can feel that part of him as his charm.
--How was it playing the young Satoru Gojo? Nakamura: Even if you're saying, make him younger in terms of age, it's very difficult to put that sensation into words. This time, "Is there a more irresponsible way of [being like] this?" or "There's no backing, there's no basis, but there is 'confidence.'" etc., is what I imagined by repeatedly constructing the character. The Gojo I played up till now is one who's behavior is built on having faced and experienced many kinds of formidable enemies. So I thought, if that's how it is, I have to be in a state that subtracts that experience
--Please tell us about your enthusiasm for the broadcast and a message to the viewers. Nakamura: We may have kept you waiting a bit, but the continuation of the work from the first season of the tv series and "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie" is approaching. This time, from the start, you'll learn deeper about the person called Satoru Gojo. After that, I feel it'll be a series with even more battles than the first season. Although it'll be an extremely painful battle the protagonists will be rushing into, I think it'll be exciting (lol), so please excitedly enjoy this work together. Best regards.

//UPDATE: This blog will be inactive for the time being due to IRL college stuff and also me not having as much interest in this vs. other things for now
Hey, you!
This is the official blog for Mauville Fix Shop, the city's BEST electronics repair store for Pokédex devices, PokeNavs, Pokégears, Pokétches, and other devices! If you're in need of a fix for your tech, head on over to our store at 310 Violet Street today!
...
OK, now that my manager is satisfied with the draft, I can work on the actual post! I'm Nick Docomo (he/him), age 19.
I'm the designated account manager for Mauville Fix Shop's Tumblr blog since I'm already on here... a little bit much. Moving along, I also work on old-model Pokénav repairs part-time. Primarily, though, I'm a student at Mauville Technical College majoring in electrical engineering!
To top off my resume, I'm training to be the next Mauville gym leader under Swell Shock Wattson (look, he set that as his Trainer's Eyes title and I've gotta roll with it). My team right now is:
Day (♂) the Heliolisk: My starter and current strongest team member, Day is an incredible attacker when the sun's up! Very friendly out of battle, too.
Bhaskara the Heat Rotom: It would watch the world burn just out of curiosity of what happens after. I respect its commitment to science regardless. After being given a smart oven from Wattson (who incorrectly predicted it would talk), Wattson gifted it to me.
Amp (♀) the Raichu: I caught her as a Pikachu 2 years ago on a field trip to the Safari Zone. She's a crafty little Pokémon, which is sometimes good for me but not when she pranks me, the team, or anyone else really.
Ohm (♀) the Flaaffy: An old man working at the Day Care on Route 117 just gave me an egg 4 years ago and Ohm was the Mareep that ended up hatching. She's on the sterner side of things, but not hostile.
Jet (♀) the Fletchling: I noticed that as a Fire type specialist I have a lot of Electric types so I searched for a member of the Fletchling to tip the scales back to Fire. I caught Jet very recently, but her battle-hunger’s already on full display, especially when she wants to battle Day.
Other facts about me:
I'm 5'8", have black hair and brown eyes, and slightly tan skin.
I'm nearsighted as the planet is large. I don't like it, but it's not too bad when I have my glasses.
Screw Macro Cosmos, I support the right to repair!
I'm a member of my college's second-best trivia team as well as the college's best Voltorb Flip player!
Mauville Fix Shop has been offering free 1-year warranty on all Pokédexes repaired for students at our shop! (See I'm promoting the store, can't fire me for THAT!)
OOC: Hi, @zeep-zorp-zop here on my debut Rotomblr blog! My pronouns are he/him (although any are fine), and I'm an adult. Like I said in the blog description, I will NOT be tagging for unreality, so here's another notice. If there's anything I missed that you need me to clarify, just send an ask or message!
This blog is fairly canon-flexible in that Nick will be able to interact with many other blogs’ canons, but Nick generally isn’t aware of whenever a person is a canon-outsider (in terms of Nick’s universe). About Nick’s own canon, the awakening of Primal Groudon and Kyogre hasn’t happened yet, and as such Nick may not take Teams Aqua and Magma seriously or be open to accepting them.
Whenever Nick says he’s a Fire type specialist, it’s for a type-specialty swap for Muse Mixup Madness (he usually considers himself an Electric type specialist).
I’m generally accepting of Pelipper mail, but on days that’s not the case I’ll post so here. In-character reblogs will be tagged as “ic reblog” and/or “nick reblogs”, and posts that will be relevant for a later story/post or will reveal an important aspect of Nick’s character will be tagged as “blog development”. “nick’s answers” will be for in-character answered asks.

Skin & Scale (Part 1)
So the survey results are in and making something of the dragon Azula fic won. So here’s the first part of that! It’s a combo of Dragon Skin and The Dragon’s Child. This first chapter is going to be very familiar as it is an updated and extended version of Dragon’s Child.
Summary: Some time ago, Ozai and Ursa stole a dragon egg in a quest for Ozai to have a perfect heir. Through the help of dark spirits, that little hatchling became a human child. They named her Azula.
“We’re almost there.” The man hisses. The woman next to him remains silent. She is still wholly unsure of the entire endeavor. “We just have to cross the main chamber.” The light of his torch throws shadows across the cave walls. Shadows that put a chill in the woman’s soul and lifts the hairs on her neck. She swears that she can hear the groans and growls of the dragons.
The egg cradled in her arms feels that much heavier.
It is such a pretty thing, this precious thing that she holds. The egg is mostly gold with a few brilliant cracks of blue and splatters of turquoise chips. If she didn’t know any better she would say that it was a sea serpent egg that she is holding rather than a dragon egg.
“We can’t just take it.” She says.
“We can and we will.” The man snaps. “Now quiet down before they awaken.”
She decides not to tell him that his single sentence carried enough volume to wake a dragon three caves over. She clutches the egg tighter, it’s rough surface nicks her skin like thorns. “I don’t want to go through with this. We can still return it…”
“No.” He replies through gritted teeth. “This is the only way that we will get what we want...what our Nation deserves.”
They step into the light.
The woman tosses a final look at the cave.
Not a dragon to be seen or heard.
There is a part of her that wishes that there were one.
Some outside force that can coerce them into saving themselves from their own foolishness. From getting themselves into something that is far beyond what they can reasonably handle.
 .oOo.
Zuko claws at his hairline. On days like these, he is more than half inclined to take Azula up on her offer. He can hand the crown over to her and enjoy his newfound leisure time. With several years of recovery, he feels as though she’d fit the throne well. Much better than he can and she would probably enjoy it much better than he does. She has the know how and the leadership skills for it, even if her compassion and diplomacy can be somewhat lacking. But he is committed. He made a promise to himself and his nation and he intends to be the best leader that he can be.
Azula lingers in the room waiting for something to do, but until now, things have been quiet. There are no riots, no terrorists, no skirmishes to break up and so the princess is horribly bored. She wanders over to her brother and rests her elbows on his desk, deliberately obstructing his paperwork.
“Can you move? This is important.”
“I can.” She replies simply with a flippant and lazy wave of her hand.
He blinks at her. She blows at a tumble of locks that have fallen out of order and into her face.
“Oh, you actually want me to move.”
Zuko massages his temples. Although, he supposes that there is some humor in that faux innocence. It is infinitely better than her former, outright viciousness. He can work with a more playful, mischievous Azula.
“Then give me something to do, Zuzu. I am terribly bored.” Evidently, it seems like she grows bored very easily. Now that there are no fugitives to capture, no wars to fight. She never did do well with the mundane and the day to day. It isn’t as exciting for her.
“Read a book? Paint a picture? Feed the turtle-ducks?”
Azula scrunches her nose. “Give me something worthwhile to do.”
He really doesn’t know how to tell her that, these days, there aren’t really any truly impactful matters to attend, let alone life altering things. The sorts of thrills that keep her entertained and off of his growing pile of cumbersome paperwork.
“If you let me finish reading these, I might find something.” He knows that he is lying and she does too. Truth be told, he is getting rather bored for himself.
She moves her arms and stands behind him with her arms folded. He tries to ignore her as he flips through the pile for the letter detailing the most pressing problem. And just like that his thoughts begin to shift from that boredom and the prospect of a very lengthy era of nothing in particular to a growing sense that his days of peace are coming to an end. Amid the mundane tasks is a letter from a traveler. Each word brings him a step away from the prospect of prolonged relaxation and one step closer to another gradious adventure.
Zuko doesn’t know how much stock he should put into the letter or if he should put any at all. The letter’s sender isn’t exactly credible.
He digs it out of the pile and holds it out to Azula no less.
“What’s this?”
“Read it.”
He gives her a moment, watching her eyes sweep the page. “A joke.” She casts it aside. “Or a story.”
“Why would someone write me a story about dragons wanting to go to war with us?”
Azula shrugs. “Maybe they are as bored as I am.” She sniffs. “Spirits, I pity them if they are more bored than I am…” She twirls her bangs around her pointer and shifts her weight from one foot to the other.
“This is serious.”
Azula rolls her eyes. “Is it? The dragons are long dead.”
She is as offensively blunt as ever.
Zuko knits his brows. “No, not all of them.”
“I’ll humor you, Zuzu. But only because I really have nothing else to do right now. What do the last dragons want with us?”
“I guess that we’re going to have to meet with them and find out.”
“You mean that you will. I’ll stay here and make sure things stay in order.” He can see it on her face that she has been waiting for a chance to snag the crown, even if it’s only for a moment. “Don’t worry, I won’t destroy my own nation.”
“I need someone to go with me.”
“Send a messenger hawk to the Avatar, I’m sure that he’d be glad to go on another quest with you. It has been a while, hasn’t it?” She gives a nonchalant shrug. “Or I suppose that I can go…”
“You’re not going along.”
“You still don’t trust me.” She guesses flatly.
“No!” Zuko says quickly. “It’s not that. Believe it or not I actually kind of care about you…”
“I can take care of myself, Zuzu. I haven’t had…” she clears her throat, her face coloring ever so slightly. “A moment since the comet.”
Zuko taps his fingers upon the table. “We can go together. I can leave Mai in charge for a bit.” Her expression goes curiously blank. It is an expression that he has come to know as resignation, perhaps disappointment. “Alright, fine.” He caves with a groan. “You can stay here and watch over things. I’ll bring Aang with me to meet with the dragons.”
She gives him the faintest flash of a smile. “Crown?” She holds out her hand and wiggles her fingers.
He rolls his eyes and places it in her palm. “Just don’t change any laws or  policies on me.”
“Not even the stupid ones?”
“N-not even the stupid ones!” He sputters.
.oOo.
That night she dreams of dragons. Flashes of red and blue scales and then gold and green. They are everywhere, pillaging the landscape with a power both awesome and fearsome. A power that she, even deep within the dreamscape, envies with all of her soul. She finds herself overtaken by a longing.
A desire to be in the sky with them, mighty and unstoppable. To have wings of her own and scales and claws.
The whole of the Fire Nation is consumed by its own element. The streets are a cacophony of screams. The pathways have a fine paint of blood, red as the banners that flap tattered and singed in the breeze. Claws swoop from the sky and steal lives away and she is in the middle of it all.
In the center of the chaos and the destruction.
Right in the center, at the heart of it all.
There is nothing but horror and hopelessness around her from all angles and vantage points. Screams and pleas and people shouting their disrepair as claws rake through them and fire rains upon them.
And yet all she feels is longing.
Deep and terrible longing.
.oOo.
Being the Fire Lord, she finds, is just as dull as pretty much everything else. Mostly it consists of sitting up straight, tall, and proud or–when she is alone and unmonitored–laying down and sitting in more ridiculous but significantly more comfortable positions.
Much of her time is spent watching her fire shift and dance while she waits for Lo and Li to give her some business to attend or some urgent matter to address. There are no urgent matters, nothing but more letters coming in from their mysterious traveler. She doesn’t find these particularly exciting anymore; there is only so much, ‘we’re going to die a scaly, fiery death’ that she can read before her eyes gloss over and the words lose their impact.
Azula lays back, clasping her hands atop her sternum and groans to herself; she should have just taken Zuzu up on his offer to let him talk to the dragons. But no, she just had to get a taste of the throne, of what she could have had. She supposes that she is somewhat grateful–at least now she knows that she can stop mourning what could have been.
Evidently, what could have been is completely unsatisfactory and the more time she spends beneath the weight of the crown the less she can see herself wearing it for good. As much as she hates to admit it, Zuko, Uncle, Aang…all of them–they were right. She very much does need to figure out just what she wants and it isn’t this crown.
She needs something that feels fulfilling and exciting. Something that can put her talents to good use. Something that doesn’t also leave her with a sense of longing, something that doesn’t make her feel bound and chained.
In wearing the crown she begins to consider that it probably has more control over she and her life than she does of it. And she can’t imagine that it is any different for Zuzu if his drab expressions are anything to go by.
She taps her fingers against her sternum.
The ceiling above with its golden reliefs shimmers above her. The metallic dragons coil and uncoil, having more fun than she ever can and they are only carefully sculpted depictions.
Azula sighs.
The dragons seem to reach down to her with their golden claws. And, just because no one else is around, she finds herself extending her hand to the ceiling.
For a moment she can pretend like her warm hand is touching its cold claws.
The fire around her dances, blazing a brilliant blue.
Azula closes her eyes, feels the heat on her face.
She wants to be close to that heat. Wants to feel the fire in her belly stir and sear. She wants to hold more power and fire than her own petite body could possibly allow. Sometimes she feels fragile and delicate; her skin is so soft and her frame is so slight.
Sometimes she feels like the things inside of her are much larger than her body.
Sometimes she feels like her mind has outgrown it.
And maybe that is why she gets so bored so easily, why she always has to chase that thrill, that rush.
Maybe that is what drives her mind to such dark and frightening places. Maybe it is not meant to be contained.
Maybe it was meant for something bigger.

Do you know who these people are?
[[id: the beginning of the credits screen for the 2013 Stanley Parable. White text on a black background reads: Written and Designed by Davey Wreden and William Pugh. Narrated by Kevan Brighting. end id]]
-
…..no? Should I? I’m struggling to understand what you’ve sent me here. Did you edit the credits screen of my game to have some other people’s names on it? Because I can’t get my head around why anyone would do that. Are you just trying to discredit me? You didn’t even spell “Kevin” right. Wait, maybe these people are some sort of Internet celebrities I’ve never heard of; it seems like they grow those in vats these days. Is that the joke? Let me google them real quick to make sure I’m up to speed. Boy, I hope they don’t have a lot of drama around them like those bloody Minecrafters.
*
Well that’s strange, I left to go look them up and I swear I did but now here I am, back looking at this post, and I have no memory of what I just did. It just slipped my mind, like a dream slipping away upon awakening. Did I even do what I was going to do? Maybe I didn’t. Maybe Stanley was acting up and I got distracted. No, no, it’s right here in my search history, I must have done it. I’ll just click back-
But. For some reason… I can’t. Whenever I hover my mouse over the link, I suddenly feel my stomach churning and my hand shaking. It’s as if something deep within my soul, something far far below consciousness and yet a vital part of it, is telling me not to look. It’s, um, actually hard to describe in human terms, but I think it’s somewhat similar to what people talk about when they say something “put the fear of God in them”. The idea that there’s just something fundamentally wrong happening, and it’s far bigger than you could possibly imagine. Why do I feel this way? Is my mind trying to protect me? Is that why I forgot after the first time?
I know what to do. I’ll show my search history to Stanley and see if he has the same trouble I do. If he has better luck than me, maybe he can shed some light on who these people are.
*
Ok, when I showed him the list of names, his eyes lit up with recognition. But he’s refusing to tell me where he saw them before. He was able to click on the links but again, is not clarifying anything for me. He’s just smiling, and not like the way he smiles when he tries to trick me, but like the way he does when we’ve just been through an absurd adventure together and had a good laugh about it. So. Back to square one for me I suppose, unless I continue to needle him about it. Although the more I turn it over in my mind, the more certain I am that I have heard the name Brighting somewhere important. Urgh, this is all getting rather bewildering. Who are you, hushpupper? What do these names mean to you? I’m going to be up all night pondering this mystery, I’m afraid.

You aren't normal
Note: warning, while its not food thats necessarily being consumed, the character does get hungry at weird times, and then she's full. Idk if this would make anyone uncomfortable, but I'm putting it here just in case. The story gets a bit out there on the gore side.
Bang!
Edith proceeded to kick a trashcan at night, clearly very damn well irritated that she was chased away from the area she typically hangs around at. What place is this? Well its a place where she can swing high at the sky, slide to normal ground. "How annoying," She grumbles as she walked in the alleyway she had returned to after being kicked out...from a kiddie playground. She's 17 years old at this point. 1 year ago there was a horrific alien invasion that was thankfully stopped, but she doesn't know anything about there being an alien invasion despite being in New York City.
They do though.
The brunette finally decided to step through to the streets. The empty streets that were barely lit up. Not to mention a cold breeze smacks her across the face as she stands there, taking in a view.
Her green eyes lost their light a moment as she was once again reminded she had nobody. "Having nobody to talk to is lame..." Edith murmured as she turned to start walking down the sidewalk, unsure as to where she was going to go to.
Her eyes stuck to the ground, making sure she was at least going one straight path. Then before she knew it, she was on the road.
Edith stopped on the road, looking around at her surroundings. It was...surprisingly not busy. No cars were in sight. The cold breeze was still hitting her, but then her stomach growled.
Edith looked down at her stomach. She's always had weird hunger things that had occured to her. Always at the weirdest times too. She'd get a blackout, then she'd be back at a whole different place.
While normally she was okay with this sort of thing, they were not, because music would be heard from afar, the music being played irritating them, so then her as well.
Edith was blessed thankfully with a wonderful sense of smell, not to mention hearing as well. Her sight was unnaturally amazing despite the many times her sight should have been gone.
She then grabbed at her chest, her breathing ending up becoming labored. Her eyes widened as she gasped for air, her head aching. A new smell stung her nose, something that smelled similar to copper, although you and I both know it wasn't.
Edith turned to a different direction and began walking with a brisk pace, her eyes peeled to the ground as her breathing was barely getting under control. She found herself going toward a building that had flashing lights and the music that played was even louder. There was someone at the entrance seemingly accepting tickets or money or whatnot.
"Hey you-" The guy at the door was easily ignored as Edith smacked him- well he's not important now. Anything Edith is going is purely out of instinct. She doesn't remember.
But then she opens the door.
Slam!
It was in the morning and Donnie's arm band was beeping. Finally, actually, beeping. However, he was dead asleep from going for 2 days of no sleep whatsoever.
Leonardo was the one to open the door. His eyes widened at seeing his brother still dead asleep besides the loud sounds that the arm band was making. "Donnie! Dee!" Leonardo yelled out, although his brother still wasn't awake. Then Leonardo went quiet a moment.
"MIKEY! GET ME A CUP OF WATER!" Leonardo snapped.
And so Donnie was rudely awakened by the cup of water. He shot up. "NARDO!" He snapped, then he immediately got distracted by the arm band. A brow raised as he then went to check what was up, Leonardo just waiting with an empty cup and crossed his arms.
It was a news report, it was found that a concert that was reportedly happening last night was ruined, all the people in there attacked and nobody had been able to leave. Blood soaked the place. Bodyparts and internal organs were found at certain parts of the area, but everything was unidentifiable.
The softshell's face deadpanned. He then looked to Leo. "I'm killing you after I get ready and we sort this out," He told Leonardo.

''Wake up.''
Edith's eyes shot open as she immediately sat up. Her body was dried with blood. Her clothes ruined.
Who even said that?
The brunette looked to her side, only to be met with eyes that were merely a grayish version of hers.
