The streets of Arcadia was almost empty. A handful of people were already on the way to work, and Kana blends in the crowd all making the commute. Unlike them, however, he was full of energy. He wasn’t able to visit her yesterday since he was in Leuda, but today was a different today. Today, he starts his day with her.

Everyone had their own reason to rise in the morning, and for Kana, this was it. There was just no comparing starting your day and seeing your most important girl. That was all the motivation he’ll need for the rest of the day, and it helped that he could work and see her at the same time. Talk about luck! Ahh, just thinking about her makes Kana want to run to the ranch!

“Mornin’ beautiful! Miss me???” Kana was way too energetic this early in the morning. He made a loud entrance as he entered Sunset Rach’s barn and expected to be greeted by his lovely gal. Instead, he sees her boss. Of course she’d be up this early, too. If there was one person who could match his dedication to horses, it’d be Ms. Spitfire. “Mornin’ to you too, boss. ”

He passed by his new boss, giving her a quick pat on the head before turning his attention to his beloved Hayate. If this was an anime, his eyes would already turn into hearts. “How’s my favorite gal? Did ya miss me?” Hayate was silent at first but eventually neighed gleefully in response. Tsundereness averted.

Day 3 on the road

We stayed 2 nights at Palo Duro Canyon.

Shout out to the blue hair who done gone plum crazy cuz her 2 lbs of rat dog was tryin to kill my cur dog. I tole her my dog wuzzin gonna hurt her dog, but she just started screamin and hollerin bout how she couldnt do this no more. I think her husband wuz thankin the same durn thang, but prolly about her and not the rat dog.

We did get to git out n drive around the bottom of them canyons. We stopped for Rach to take some photos of some wild turkeys. I'll tell ya what.... that city slicker gal a mine aint skeered o shit. She marched herself right on up to that ol Tom and started a snappin a ways. He wuz so shocked. He let her. Then she got some photos of them canyon walls. I'll get her to put some of em up here for y'all to gander at.

That day reminded me of my Paw Paw Pete. He always had a bottle of Wild Turkey stuck in his boot in the closet. I bet that blue haired lady's husband was a wishin my Paw Paw and his boot wuzzin on vacation with them too.

Episodes 1-7 (part 1)

Okay, so in order for most of this to make sense, I’ll summarize each episode and give my thoughts on them. Spoiler alert I guess. This is just for me to let my thoughts out, so you can totally ignore me. This is going to take a while.

Episode 1 (Pilot Episode)

Introduces Savanna (Sav for short), the MC

Sav is moving to California from Montana

Sav is excited to see her old BFF, Brooklyn (Bitch/Brooke or short), who moved to the same city and school that Sav is moving to years ago

Sav arrives at new school

Sav meets Angelina (Lina) and Genevieve (Gen)

Sav finds out what Brooke’s been up to, which she became the most popular girl in school and is the leader of the “Barbie Dolls” (3 richest and most popular gals at school)

Only thing I have to say is that the old editing, video quality, and stuff like that really brings back the nostalgia. Also immediately knew that this was the typical high school drama trope and knew that I was going to hate watching the series again.

Episode 2

Sav tried to reconnect with Brooke

Brooke pretends to be nice until they’re alone

Turns out Brooke became a real bitch when she moved to Cali. (stole Parisian Gucci from Lina, framed Gen for cheating, cheated on her bf Sage a couple of times, immediately smacks Sav down for trying to be her friend, etc.)

Sav has a break down at home

Lina and Gen offer to take Sav shopping because Brooke always teases Sav about her clothes and suggest that she dye her hair

Sav accepts

Okay, I totally understand that Brooke didn’t want to be embarrassed and ruin her reputation, but did she have to be such a bitch about it? She literally payed the mfing smack down on innocent Sav, all because Sav just wanted to see and talk to her old BFF. Also, besides Brooke’s bullying, the fact that Lina and Gen offer to change Sav so that she can fit in is wrong. I know the reason they do it is because they hate seeing Brooke bully Sav about it, but they shouldn’t let that get to them because Brooke is just an insecure loser who thinks that everyone is her enemy.

Episode 3

Sav, Lina, and Gen (I’ll call them the gang) go shopping

Sav dyes her hair, and apparently is super hot but wtf am I supposed to know their animal characters

Okay, so I left this part out because it doesn’t contribute much to the summary, but Sav starts to not eat because she thinks she isn’t skinny and thinks that because Brooke is skinny and pretty, skinny is the key to being pretty. She doesn’t have anorexia, as she does eat little bits so that her family and friends don’t worry, but starving yourself is not cool kids. if ya wanna lose weight and not kill yourself in the process, just exercise and eat healthy meals! When Sav started started starving herself, I literally went “honey, no.” Not only is there bullying so far, there’s this horseshit. Anyway, moving on.

Episode 4

Sav shows up to school looking fab af

Whole school is shook and Brooke do a mad

Brooke tried to tear down Sav again by sarcastically complimenting her, telling her that the plastic surgery looks great and usually it takes months to recover from it

Sav absolutely flames Brooke by saying “You would know Brooke. But sorry, not everyone needs plastic surgery to look good.”

Brooke tries to clap back and say that at least her hair doesn’t look like the color of a carrot

Sav roasts her again by saying “You’re right, it looks like you borrowed it from a banana.”

Brooke gets mad and storms off with Sage

First period starts, which is English for Sav. (Note: also in the class is Sage, Gen, and Rachael (Rach, one of the Barbie Dolls)

Brooke texts Rach to ruin Sav and spray ink on her, which gets all up in Sav’s hair

Sage offers to take Sav to the office to get it cleaned up

Sage also offers his phone to her to call home and get cleaned up there.

Introductions, crushing, that kinda bullshit

Sav goes home, washes up, and calls the gang to tell them she’s crushing on Sage and they encourage her to go for him

Okay, so some more bullying, not surprising. But the fact that the gang encourages Sav to essentially make Sage cheat/leave Brooke for her is very wrong, and the gang’s reasoning was even worse (“Are they even officially together? All they do is make out in the hallway and I doubt they’ve even had a conversation. Plus, it’ll be one step closer to overthrowing Brooke.”). Absolute pigshit. Idc that Brooke is a bitch, Sage is taken, and therefore Sav should not try any moves unless Sage breaks up with Sav on his own accord without any outside forces. Also, I’m fully aware that the roasts were kinda trash, but this is from 2010, and plus I think they’re good so eat my ass.

I would like to note that they are in the 11th grade at the beginning of the series, meaning they’re the same age as me and yet they act like they’ve got 5th grade drama. Grow tf up.

Well I have 2 irl best friends- Riley and Hannah. I’ve known Riley since kindergarten and she’s super great! She’s someone that I know I can turn to when I just need to talk about my feelings and we also just have a lot of fun together. She’s such a caring person, like she randomly gives me gifts and doesn’t even expect anything in return ksjdnak how crazy is that?? Hannah is my cousin!! We’re only a couple months apart so we’ve literally known each other since we were in the WOMB. I literally just… idk I would do anything for her. She’s such a unique person?? Like she’s SO mature. I would never ever think we were the same age if I hadn’t known her my whole life. We also just bring out the absolute weirdest sides of each other so any time we’re together is so crazy and fun lmao. AND I think I have a couple of people that I’d consider best friends on here, but I’m gonna talk about Rach ( @seunghosties ) since I feel closest to her out of anyone. Rach is my SUNSHINE. She knows exactly the right words to cheer me up?? I tell her things that I wouldn’t really tell anyone else bc akjdnak idk she’s just so comforting? And she’s the only one that I’ll actually talk about my future with askdjna idek WHY. She’s become such a special person to me and I’m genuinely so sad that she lives in Canada :((( BUT LIKE WE WERE EVEN TALKING ABOUT GOING TO LANGUAGE SCHOOL TOGETHER SO LIKE IDK THAT’S PROOF THAT I LOVE AND CHERISH HER SO MUCH OMFG

Fitness + nutrition + generally being ACTIVE is a massive part of my life, but it’s not my whole life!
