#posts #madara #sorry i feel like ive said this exact thing on some post already a while ago .. but i came across this picture again and it brought up #some thoughts #this scene's like the only instance during the entire war arc where we get to see him display any emotion #smth other than lust for battle or excitement etc #we can actually see that even for him as free of emotion as he comes off most of the time #there's quite an amount of hurt for him at the source of it too #mdr also kills sasuke after this. first tries to avenge izn's death but then goes and stabs a stand-in of his right thru the heart #and he looks so unhappy w this afterwards #cuz he feels like he Has to doesnt want to kill him but has to #we also see him remember hsrm's backstab and this time it is not a romantic memory #contrary to the first time when he talks abt him to the 5 kage #here u can see that it did hurt him and he remembers every single word hsrm said to him .. #repeats them to sasuke and then applies that same logic to him as well #hsrm had to kill him for the village so now mdr for his version of peace. has to do the same thing as well #kill his own kin as a sacrifice to achieve what he wants #but also sfdgesfdfsd #just this interaction here w tbrm alone .. its so dissatisfying for him cuz like he wants do SOMETHING abt his grief over losing his #brother. but he cant. he cant even fuck up and hurt his killer anymore over it #its too late #he shouldve done that earlier but couldnt and now its too late #just like everything else is too late for him too. no way back anymore no way to reverse anything thats happened

the thing about when people say “oh, eddie was just comforting chrissy because he’s such a good guy” or even “his first response to seeing a girl in distress was to make her feel better hes so scrunkly!” is like.... that’s just not what happened there. eddie’s first response to chrissy’s visible distress was to be defensive and haughty. he thought she was scared of him, and it hurt his feewings, so he was brusque and then tried to bail completely. he had a very “sorry to be an imposition >:(” energy. 

it wasn’t until chrissy reassured him that he wasn’t the problem, and beyond that, asked him to stay, that eddie relaxed. i love eddie a lot, but it was chrissy who was instinctually kind and empathetic here. she was the one who put her trust in a relative stranger, one most of her peers mock and judge and even fear. maybe he was her only option to get drugs, but she chose to open up to him and be vulnerable. he just reciprocated.

acnl is a superior game to acnh in almost every way except the graphics. it’s actually making me mad

i love that we are discovering our boundaries and saying No, but there comes a point where you can't cancel on your friends anymore. you have to say yes eventually and actually be there. if you like being invited you have to show up at least once. like listen to your body and energy, obviously. but there will come a time where your friends will start hurting and think you're avoiding them or don't like them or don't want to hang out, because every single time you had the opportunity you said no or you canceled last minute.

#student living #literally every week is a different opening times than the previous since the week before easter break #ive been to pick up a parcel three times now first time it was closed for the day on Wednesday which i hadnt known #but the sign they put up said they were open until 3 Thursday and Friday but i had class until 2 and am half an hour walk between campuses #didnt get back on time on Thursday but got there with 10 minutes to spare on Friday but it was already deserted for the weekend #the opening hours sign said temporary hours was just for that week so i was like okay guess ill wait until monday then #got a notification this morning about another parcel being dropped off with regular working hours included at the bottom #go to pick up my parcel after noon and the place is deserved and theres a new sign up #theyre open only until 12 for the first half of the week and then until 3 Thursday and friday again #so theyve changed opening hours from 8-5 to 8-12 🫥 but not sent out any notice about this #when am i supposed to collect my parcels if you keep changing the times with no warnings? #this is like the 6th week in a row that theyre operating on new times #i need to collect my package its stuff i need for this weekend im also waiting on my friends birthday presents to arrived for this sunday #and of course reception isnt open on weekends for students when everyone would be available to collect their packages outside of classes
