RGTK but it's an Invader Zim au called Invader Kraken!

Ruby is sent to the surface as Oceanside's NEWEST resident to conquer a large town of human's! Chelsea is also tagging along to monitor or watch out for any threats stronger for Ruby to handle.

Connor and the solidarity squad immediately know Ruby isn't human and try to prove that she's an Invader planning to take over Oceanside.

Ruby gets infatuated and amazed by all the culture, food and beauty of the human world and tasks herself to experience the human world while Chelsea tries to help Ruby get back on track to finish the mission.

Ruby crushes on Connor while Connor tries to prove Ruby is a Kraken.

The Krakens and Mermaid's have decided to team up to conquer the ocean world first, then the surface world! But other sea monsters try to stop Ruby and Chelsea from completing their mission which ends up into a giant Kaiju fight that is basically the Monster battle of the week!

Gordon denied the heroes theory of Ruby and Chelsea of being Mermaid's and Kraken's... Because Krakens are ginormous and mermaid's can't walk on land.

Idk what else to add it's basically a enemies to lovers kind of au for Ruby x Connor.

A;lkjasdfsadf I love it. The idea of IZ AU has also been rummaging through my brain but the details are incomplete.

The idea of the mermaids and krakens teaming up together is really cool though. That means Nerissa and Grandmamah are in charge of both and I can see them being like an old bickering pair all the time. Just constantly taking potshots at each other while commanding their forces as one.

I feel like it'd be more of a case only one recognizes Ruby isn't human, lets go with Margot, before slowly but surely convincing her other friends she is indeed a kraken.

Oh god I just had a horrible thought. The Dark Harvest episode and like....Ruby would have the same fear like Zim, not having human organs and being found out by a doctor. She starts taking organs and it is horrible. That's the turning point when the other teens are like okay Ruby is definitely not a human.

A;akjsdf how ironic in an IZ AU Gordon is a much happier less insane character. How fitting.

au notes for Merfriend au (shitty name ik i’m braindead ok) bc yes. ft a doodle i made after crying abt how my art skills suddenly disappeared and i can only draw garbage like that:

There’s a legend in mermaid tales that if a human kisses a mermaid, the mermaid will become human. Only if the mermaid is submerged in water will they turn back into their original form. However the human will be cursed along with them and will turn into a fish if they’re underwater.

Bakugo is at a summer home with his parents and encounters a mermaid when walking along the shore one day. They become friends, under one condition. He can’t expose the identity of his friend, or they’ll kill him.

Kirishima left his kingdom in search of his friends (aka bakusquad) because they all went up to the surface and they didn’t come back. He searches around the area with Bakugo in hopes he can find his friends and if they’re alive.

shit that didn’t fit in these 3 paragraphs but are still important:

- Bakusquad is a bunch of sea animals but mermaid-ized if that makes sense. Mina is a sea slug, a hypselodoris to be exact. Denki, an electric eel. Jirou and Sero I’m still on the fence about, since I don’t really know what kind of sea animal would fit their quirks.

- Rest of 1A are humans. Edit: I made a masterlist for their roles.

- This is a Kiribaku au so 🙏😔
