have you ever read a fic and wondered 'what are the statistics for this fic's content?' well i have. and i watch a lot of coleydoesthings on youtube and i see them do stats for fics ALL THE TIME so now im doing it.

NUMBERS UNDER THE CUT

so, what have i decided was worthy of my time youre wondering. obviously every plot point isnt here, but the major ones and my favourites are. hopefully some of yeres are too! (my favourite character is mischa so there is a lot of mischa here. youve been warned)

Noels crush on Mischa

Noel started crushing on Mischa in the very beginning - the first time he mentions it is in chapter one. between then and chapter 152, noel has a consistent crush on mischa. noel spends 64% of the fic crushing on mischa, or 152 chapters.

2. Mischa's crush on Noel

a three part mini opera. just kidding. but it is split into three parts, because mischa doesnt initially recognise hes crushing on noel. so. lets begin. mischa first starts unknowingly crushing on noel in chapter ten, and continues to be blind to it until chapter 39. that makes up 12% of the fic. mischa then spends another 113 chapters knowingly crushing on noel, which is another 47% of the fic. in total, until the confession in chapter 152, mischa spends 59% (142 chapters) crushing on noel.

3. Nischa dating

nischa have been dating since chapter 152. thats 35% of the fic. just over half of what noel spent pining.

4. Savannah's crush on Ricky

while it can be argued that savannah was crushing on ricky since the beginning, she first explicitly states in in chapter 21. having an actual sane 'pining period', ricky confesses in chapter 51, meaning savannah only pines for 12% of the fic (30 chapters).

11. Ricky's nightmares

ricky gets nightmares, triggered in chapter 131, and gets medication for them in chapter 224. as far as we know, ricky is taking the medication and is no longer having nightmares. so, we can say that the nightmares lasted 93 chapters or 39% of the fic

12. Mary making an effort

Mary, mischas adoptive mother, began making an effort to be familial to mischa in chapter 77, and has continued to do so since (love you mary x), so 93 chapters or 67% of the fic

14. Mischa's hate comments

mischa first saw the hate comments on his youtube channel in chapter 207, and they have continued ever since. mischa has been getting hate comments for 30 chapters or 12% of the fic
