just a tiny lil snippet of the bucktommy fic before I post it probably later tonight (it's basically almost done, and then I just need a title) ngl this whole fic turned out hornier than I expected but buck is just a baby bi who has his first boyfriend, and I am not immune to how hot tommy is okay 🙈 (buck and I have literally the exact same taste in men and women istg 🤣) i kinda wanted to turn it into smut but I want it posted before the episode and it turned out too long already haha

“When you’re ready.” Tommy says, his thumb tenderly brushing against where Buck’s birthmark is.

“Yeah.” Buck nods. “And when I am, I- Well, I bet you can teach me more stuff than just flying or Muay Thai.” he says half-jokingly, referencing the conversation right before their first kiss, when Buck didn’t even realize he was flirting until he thought back on it – which freaked him out, too, because how often did this happen before? Tommy just grins, all confident and charming, and leans in to press a soft but hungry kiss to Buck’s lips. Buck’s insides swirl and dance and make him feel all giddy and floaty. 

“Oh, I can teach you. I’m gonna.” he whispers, lightly pulling at Buck’s lip. Buck almost asks him to stay. Almost tries to bring Tommy closer, and thrust his hips up to make their clothed dicks collide again, wanting to feel that pressure again. He doesn’t, though. Which requires an impressive amount of self-control, if he says so himself.

Since I somehow manifested jealous Buck, my next wish would be for a pining Buck. Gimme Buck slowly realizing he’s in love with his best friend, only to be accidentally friend-zoned by him. Gimme Buck looking on as Eddie talks about his girlfriend. Gimme Buck feeling left out because he’s feeling like he’s still losing Eddie even more so now that he’s realized he loves him differently. I want Buddie to happen just as much as the next person does but I would really really love if abc didn’t just rush them to be together in this season. There are only ten episodes. I just keep imagining that season 7 ends with a domestic Buddie scene—sitting down on the couch together sipping beer watching a movie with Chris. That could very well lead up to a kissing moment (hence very lovely blushy Ryan Guzman) and he (Eddie) literally wakes up on the couch, dazed and confused. Going “oh my god, I’m in love with Buck.”

Season eight could continue on as Eddie Diaz is a good catholic Mexican guy. I think he will have lots of emotions and hardships accepting those feelings, and also being like yah it’s so easy to love Buck. He’s been doing it for years. Mr.I-put-you-in-the-will. Can’t get any more heart eyes than that tbh.

Of course I’m such a big fan of pining, and this man has been pining forever even if he doesn’t realize it (Thank you Ryan). I would just appreciate a knowing he’s in love pining.

Question: Am I the only one who might be holding onto the idea that Buck won’t date Natalia? It’s just, I couldn’t see the whole thing as a date, even if they already booked another day to meet. The cemetary scene says something, you know? Eddie immediately thinks of it as another possible romantic entanglement that Buck could get caught up in...so why wouldn’t Buck? However, is that the only option? There could be a such a way to talk to Natalia about her experiences and incorporate Buck’s experiences into that.

There is something about Natalia only asking him “out” because of his death experience. It seems like the only link and the only reason she thought about it. Of course, Buck is flashy smile and eye flirty, but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t play back and still be friends? Natalia could be like what’s her name, Felisa? The one with the bad luck bracelet. She meet up with Eddie (on the beach) and they had a chat about their experiences and boom went separate ways.

There is the other side of this though. Eddie sees this as already dating. Buck has the track record and Eddie knows that...so...yeah...

Can you imagine if we get Bi Buck and confirmation of his feelings for Eddie and eventually get confirmation of gay or bi Eddie who's been in love with Buck the whole time!!!???!!! That Eddie has been pining the whole time but never said anything cause he didn't think Buck was gay or bi and was afraid Buck wouldn't feel the same, etc so he pushed his feelings away?! we've talked about jealous eddie, and pining eddie, and afraid-he's-actually-a-homophobe eddie, but i think there's another element we need to explore and that's supportive eddie. because here's eddie diaz having just found out that the reason his best friend has been so weird lately is that he's going through this major revelation and it's all new and he's so excited and a little nervous, and buck needs his best friend to have his back as he explores these new feelings.

and eddie genuinely likes tommy, he was the one who wanted them to get on well! so even if it makes his chest tighten to see them brushing shoulders and holding hands and kissing he absolutely does not have time to unpack that feeling especially if it could in any way derail this thing buck is going through.

and eddie knows buck like no one else, he knows how buck's struggled with feeling rejected and like he's never anyone's first choice. but here's tommy, and he's cool and nice and adventurous and loyal and buck gets all giggly at the prospect of being with him, and that's exactly the kind of relationship that buck deserves to have, one that makes him feel seen and chosen, and this isn't like with his past girlfriends where eddie could be snide and tease and try to help him see how wrong of a fit they are for him, that kind of behavior could really hurt buck here, so eddie is determined that he is not going to ruin this for buck, no matter what, because this isn't about eddie and the weird flutter he gets when he thinks of another man with buck and what it must be like to get to hold him and kiss him.

was thinking about pining buck and how this might be such a different feeling for him because buck is not just heart first, but heart always and that means for all types of things, including romantic relationships. we saw him during his f boy phase and we saw him try and try and try and try with serious relationships and he has never backed down during any of these relationships. he always tried and shoot his shot. but pining? longing? yearning? he might have felt this but for entirely different reasons. some kind of wanting that he feels is too much. but to have those feelings in a distinguished romantic context? with a person that means so much to him? buck doesn’t just not try, sometimes he tries even without thinking, but eddie is… different. eddie is his best friend. eddie is someone who he wants in his life for a very long time. and if people he tried with before left him so easily, how can he ever survive that with eddie? if he tries with eddie, he needs to be sure, he needs to be calculated, he can’t dive in this head first like he always does. so he keeps it in at first, keeps it in for a while, lets himself sit with it, turn it over and over in his head and let it bleed through his gaze because one wrong move and everything will crumble around him and he might just lose the best thing that ever happened to him.

we know that eddie and marisol run into buck and tommy on their date. (we also know that tommys actor isnt in many episodes this season)

tommy will see how buck is acting around eddie. he realizes all along that buck was not actually looking for his attention but for eddie’s. he talks to buck after their date and is like “i don’t think you were actually trying to make me jealous, i think you were trying to make eddie jealous. its clear you like him.” and then buck goes to test the waters by coming out to eddie.

from the articles where oliver and tim have talked about sexuality, it 100% seems like buddie is not off the table. they are definitely open to it. they don’t have plans right now to get them together but they are considering it.

i would love if we end up getting a buck finding out and coming to terms with being bisexual AND being in love with eddie, but doesn’t know how to go about it and obviously eddie’s sexuality would be in question
