A blessing is anything that makes you depend more and want more of God, which is why some of the biggest blessings are trials. #trials If you face trouble today, it doesn't come from God but triumph through it does! #trial Jesus never promises safety, health or financial prosperity. He promises something infinitely better...Himself. #tribulation A question for Christians: if God has already overcome the world-and left us the instructions to do the same-why do we choose to let the world overwhelm us? #tribulations God never promised an absence of valleys, but He did promise His presence in the midst of them. #trialsandtribulation Jesus said that you will have troubles in this world. But He also promised that He's already overcome them. So today, declare victory over whatever you're facing because Christ has already won the battle. #bible The Christian should expect to be regularly crushed under the inexorable wheels of history until Jesus comes again. We are not here to be relevant, powerful, and understood. When you make God your priority, at that moment Satan makes you his priority. When you made the decision to 'get in the boat with Jesus to cross over to the other side' you invited storms of adversity to come. (Mark 4:35) Yet be reminded that Jesus is in your boat. He is your peace. He is your protector, and surely you will get to the other side. When you answer the call of God on your life, and get into the boat with God as your priority-the enemy makes you his priority and that what conflict is all about. You can expect conflict to come when you make God your priority... You can expect weapons to form too- but I'm here to encourage you, and to remind you of the Word-it is written 'no weapons formed against you shall prosper' (Isaiah 54:17) they will be formed but they shall not prosper! The question is not "Will I survive the storm and will I get to the other side Jesus?" No, the question is "WHY will I survive the storm? What is waiting for me at the other side? WHO is waiting for me on the other side of the storm?" You can be sure when the storm comes, and it will... there's something about you waiting to be released! And there's someone waiting on what's IN YOU, and WHO is in you, to be released.
