Simple answer? I'm not good at multishipping. And my ship is janto. I see the appeal, but I just can't. A great character, but I don't see it.

In a parallel universe, I could see it. That would be a disaster though. But I actually think they have compatible levels of Being Done With Shit. But I'm just really not good at multishipping.

Sure! They certainly would never be bored. The idea of them together sounds really fun. It would be an adventure for both of them.

So I have like…. 15 (!!!!!!!) fic ideas sitting in my WIP google doc where I list all my stuff so I dont lose track of them. 3 of those I have actually started in some form or fashion.

As for sharing; I think Ive shared all the ideas in some form or fashion but I am incapable of keeping my wips to myself so here is the start to the “Price thinks he caught his wife cheating but actually she’s just masturbating” fic lmao

The lines in John Price's face testify to the worry that nags him every day.

He’s paid to worry. His men rely on it to stay safe- not that they so much as actively do, but it’s the fear of failure -of one of them not coming home- that drives Johnto account for every possible course of action during an op, and come up with three additional back up plans for each initial potential course.

He accounts for everything. No detail goes unnoticed, no stone goes unturned. He doesn’t have the option of making a mistake. If a clerk files a paper wrong, worse case scenario John resubmits a report. If he does his job wrong? Someone very likely will die.

There’s many, many things in the day that worry John but you are not one of them.

Not usually, anyway. And the slight nagging sensation as he pulls down the street that you two live on is easily accounted to him projecting and empathizing with the plight of a young soldier John had come across while getting ready to leave base.

One of the corporals under Soap had left the day before once placed on leave, only to be back on base this morning.

John hadn’t commented on the corporal's red, puffy eyes. The man’s ego’s already suffered a terrible blow, and his crying being acknowledged by his captain would not have helped matters.

The poor sod had walked in on his girlfriend in the act with another man. Not so much as a Dear John letter, but letting him find out in the worst way possible.

And so John brushes off the nagging in the back of his brain. He’s a worrier, and apparently his brain feels like torturing himself with thoughts of how absolutely wrecked he would be if he found himself in the same position as the corporal.

He leaves his bags in the car as he parks, too eager to see you to bother with them. He can unpack later.

The house is quiet when he first steps in. “Darling? I’m home.”

He expects to hear an excitable “John!” and you scrambling to him from whatever room you’re in. Your usual routine ending with you flinging yourself into his arms.

He’s greeted with more silence. Maybe you’re in the shower? John has text you on base that he was coming back. But the house isn’t all that far from base. Maybe you haven’t seen the message if you haven’t looked at your phone.

He makes his way up the stairs, grinning slightly at the thought of catching you in the shower. He’ll need to be careful- that he doesn’t spook you thinking you’re alone in the house only to be found naked and wet. He would feel terrible if you slipped from fright.

No sooner does John reach the top of the stairs does his stomach drop clear to the floor.

He can hear the mattress squeaking.

Her writing is so good and Im still working my way through the fic of hers I am reading but fr fr y’all if you have even the slightest interest in bdsm dynamics I know absolutely nothing about the tr fandom so idk how close it follows anything canon but it flows so nice aaHHHHHH

Lowkey the characters I always love most typically fit the same archetype (for whatever reason I huff the “traumatized soldier” trope like it’s blow and I cannot stop myself).

Like Ghost is just delightfully traumatized and I wanna snuggle him and make things okay for him going forward.

And the ghost fics/ideas are definitely the ones I get more notes on but lowkey Ive been feeling Price lately and while the price snippets/fics have gotten good responses they haven’t pulled near the numbers as the ghost ones but I do not care lmao literally if anyone comments anything nice on my stuff Im so happy but I’m not like…. Gonna cater my writer with the purpose of getting the most notes (tho I am pleasantly surprised when something blows up) so whoever my flavor of the month is, isn’t particularly swayed by reader response.

And of course Jacob will always have a special place in my heart because I have simped for that man since 2018 and I *will* excuse the kidnapping, brainwashing, and cannibalism. Because he is my babygirl.

For my actual OCs, while I haven’t written very much for her yet I just love Honey so so so much any time I do a snippet for her she just writes so easy for me.

Like I love CC still and they have their similarities in certain aspects of disposition/motivations but sometimes I gotta wrestle her down lmao

7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?

This one may be obvious, it's Punk. I don't have the history with him that others do as I missed everything wrestling related from 2000 until 2022, so I only have his AEW run to base things on, and he was/is.... adequate. I wasn't impressed with him or the Elite after Brawl Out, but then seeing the behaviour of Punk fans on here (trolling the Elite tags to screenshot posts that were NOTHING to do with Punk and gloating, being blocked for not liking Punk "enough" etc), and then the horrendous homophobia and misogyny of Punk fans on Twitter - it completely turned me off him as a person and a wrestler.

This isn't all Punk fans btw. There are some absolutely lovely ones on both platforms, but the loudest are the absolute dregs. And the language they use made me really nervous about going to live wrestling wearing a Bucks shirt because I was worried about people being vile. It never happened, every live show I've been to, people have been super, but gods I was fretting.

12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

I've been going over and over and over this. I don't think I like anyone that people view as unpopular. When I first got into wrestling, I adored Piper and the Rockers. Neither of which were unpopular, but you couldn't get any merch for them in the UK in the early 90s.

Now I like the Elite, and Tumblr has introduced me to so many other wrestlers from all over. I do find it amusing when the WhatCulture boys go "People don't really like Wheeler" for example, and I'm here going "Oh my sweet summer children, how little you know" 🤣🤣

In other media, I adore John Hart (Torchwood - Johnto my beloved ship), Gloomcookie (until it went a bit weird), and Delirium is my favourite of the Endless. So those are lesser characters in popular works, but unpopular.....sadly I cannot think of any I'm afraid 😔

This is the owner of the Arcaine (Tag) and Nidoking (Zene) I asked for advice. I have been reading through this blog and saw you may have a joltick to spare. Me and Tag have been run out of too many towns in Johnto, and even with our most recent heist, money is getting tight. I can't risk anything too high key so I need a smaller pokemon to help make ends meet. If not I may not be able to keep my pokemon. I used to have a full team but a lot of them I sent to shelters because of money problems. I am thinking of relocating to Hoenn, if you could spare a joltik or give me advice for any pokemon to catch there.

Hoenn... I'm not in the business of recommending pokemon, capische? Too personal a process for me to get involved in. You know berry trees out there are legally public property? That should go a ways toward keeping your team fed.

The fashion industry is a $1.5 billion industry and growing. Not many people know firsthand what it takes to start and build their own clothing brand. There are the challenges of severing snaps, die sets, and even the fabric be delivered marred. Fashion designers must acquire the originality that can lead to the success of their brand by creating an enthralling look that identifies with the market they wish to target. There is not only a need to really work hard, but the want to be good at what they do. The entire process is rather daunting in that one is willing give their all so that they can start their own label for there hold many risks. 

            The main goal of fashion is to provide a unique visual in the form of clothing; however, as an ever-changing business, it still lacks the diversity both on the runaway and behind the scenes. There are not many highly-praised black fashion designers that one can name off the top of their head, but ask someone to name thirty Pokémon and they can do it without fail. In this industry, black fashion designers are a rarity. They are not like unicorns, mythical creatures that one has read stories about, but never seen with one’s own eyes, but they are rare, nonetheless. Sure, you have the rap moguls who create their own designs from P Diddy’s, Sean Johnto the homeless stylings of Kanye West.  I am talking about the ones who journeyed into the fashion industry not because it was something to simply stick their toes in, but because fashion was their life; fashion was what they live and breathe. Out of the 470 members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, only twelve are African-American today. Oddly, there are less black designers now than there were in the 1970’s.  It might not mean something to most, but it is troubling that there is a lack of diversity within an industry that is heavily influenced by the style of African-Americans—Rihanna, for example. 

 Nevertheless, black fashion designers like Armando Cabral and Carly Cushnie—to name a few—not only took great strides with their designs of underground subculture, they were also able to create opportunities for other designers of color trying to make their mark in the fashion world, like Chyna Nesby.

Chyna is a twenty-eight-year-old self-taught designer from Decatur, Georgia. Having sewn since the age of twelve, fashion has become Chyna’s life. At times, she would alter the clothes of her dolls and make them her own. In a sense, fashion chose her.  In the beginning—like many young people—Chyna thought it would be best to choose a career that would gain her assured stability. Computer Science became her major starting school, the study of the principles and use of computers. You can’t fault her for that. In a day and age where computers are gods and not having one means that you are most likely were living under a rock, why not aim for the “safer” target?

            But silly old’ life had other plans. Chyna found herself placing school on pause, and after losing her job as a baker in 2012 and unable to find a job to save her soul, she used that opportunity to pick up the sewing machine. With the help from her best friend, Susie, both began to embark on starting their own business. It was the desire to create and the constant watching of Project Runway that gave Chyna the inspiration she needed to launch her own line.

            “Seeing the finalists present their collections on the season finale would give me so much joy. I would constantly tell myself that will be me one day.”

            After talking about life, love, and what they really wanted in life, both Chyna and Susie developed the name, FierceLove for their clothing line. The name stemmed from the fact that if one was going to do anything, be unapologetically fierce about it. Live Fierce. Love Fierce. And with that, boom! Fierce Love offers various collections from dresses to swimwear. Not excluding men, Fierce Love has created a few men’s items like coats, jogging suits, and a couple of custom pieces she designed for a few men in the past.

            Who wouldn’t love to work for themselves? Set your own hours and being your own boss can tempt the most diehard 9-to-5-er. However, even when with working for yourself in the career you love, there are still some ups and downs. Chyna sees doing her own thing as an amazing feeling. However, with great power comes great responsibility, and with working for yourself, one hundred percent of that responsibility is your own. On the days when you want to just slack off, there is no one to tell you otherwise. In the fashion industry, slacking off is not an option; therefore, Chyna continues with a morning routine of showering, getting dressed, and placing her phone in the other room to keep the 9-to-5 mindset to stay on track.

            Like many fashion designers, many grab inspiration for their designs whether it is from their personal style or styles that they observe. From the street styles of Atlantic Station and Little Five Points to iconic fashion eras of the 50’s, 70’s and 80’s, Chyna gains her creativities. She describes her own personal style as versatile, where she can be a pretty princess on Monday and be a ninja in all black on Friday. To her, fashion is a form of self-expression and individuality. Every chance she gets she is studying fashion; keeping up with all the high-end fashion shows as well as enthralling in its history. For how could we have a stylish future if we don’t know our stylish past?  It is a feeling. When most people assume that having great vogue is following trends, Chyna goes against the masses. Though trends can have influence on what fashion designers create, Chyna stays true to herself by creating what makes her feel good.

            “In turn, when people wear it, they feel good, too. That is what fashion is about.”

            What feels good on her body is the deciding factor in the fabric and material she uses. The choosing of the right fabric can lead to countless hours spent in a fabric store. Her favorites are the stretchy, form-fitting for what makes her feel sexy and confident she knows will make her customers feel the same.

            Though inspiration can be very valuable in the industry of fashion, having the right set of skills is also crucial, as well. A perfectionist when it comes to her garments, Chyna believes that it is necessary for aspiring fashion designers to have great attention to detail. To her, her lines must be perfect. To many, it can seem a tab extra, but Chyna believes that it shows through in her work. Along with technical skills such as pattern making and the obvious sewing. and having dedication, consistency, and integrity as work ethics, Chyna believes that one of the best skills to have is patience. If you do not have the patience that comes along with designing, then you might as well just hang it up.

            Chyna wants to hang in there. Her goals for the next ten years are to own several boutiques that include a few high-end designs, several fashion weeks, and having her clothing being strutted on red carpets and the Met Gala for dream clients, Lupita Nyongo and Vana White after mastering gowns once she learns more about tailoring. Not selfish with her talents, she hopes to inspire less fortunate teens and teach them the skills of sewing thus guiding them towards the awesomeness of entrepreneurship. For them, she advises:

            “Just be patient and keep pushing. It gets rough. There will be stress and there will most certainly be tears. There will also be those beyond amazing moments when you complete something that you never dreamed you could. Seeing a vision that you had come to life is worth fighting for. Also, never stop learning. We will never know it all. The moment we think we do, is the moment we fail. Remain humble, learn whatever there is out there for you to learn, and just grind it out.”

            Black aspiring fashion designers like Chyna are paving the way in attempts to become a commonality in the industry that lacks their talent in hopes of influencing others and improving the history of fashion. Hopefully, there will be an increase of gifted originators like her so that the term of “black designer” will no longer be used in referring to an outsider in the same industry that they greatly influence.

thank you <3 i haven't listened to the lies of captain john yet but every other canon appearance said nothing about his culinary skill so i assumed everyone else who gave him some had done more research than me. i was a fool to trust lol

also i have read almost every johnto fic on ao3 and i desperately wanted more i'm not used to being a rareshipper but at least being a semi prolific writer is good for something (once this fic is done i have like three more waiting in my head. god has cursed me for my hubris and my work is never finished)

I would really like to make my own lone ranger comic where john and tonto start just as justice partners but then they develop more complicated relationships and in some time they become so attached to each other that their relationships become toxic. and I know that they are legends and legends live forever and are made to cheer people up, but I would like my johnto to be more human. that means that they literally could be killed and seriously injured. and that makes everything more interesting because where's the intrigue if main characters cannot be killed nor seriously injured, it makes em too much of mary sue and mary sues are boring because it's breathtaking when you read something and you know tgat the character could literally die. it makes reading 100 times more enjoyable, for me at least
