I know Fusion decided to do Bandori (DVHS edition) a while back, so could we have a followup? PJSK: DVHS! Four-person units plus a Vocaloid for each, featuring "you shouldn't technically be here" this time. - II
...I definitely didn't spend twenty minutes looking for this post
Dawn to Dusk:
Oshiro (leader), Matsumoto, Ikeda, and Saito
They focus a lot on composition more than anything else, and a lot of their music is said to be best played at night. That’s usually when they have the most time to work on it, too. They don’t really fit in any one genre, though, dipping their toes into everything.
Rin and Len would be their Vocaloids since I think it’d be a funny contrast between them arguing and Oshiro and Saito arguing.
Worldwide:
Ishikawa (leader), Nakamura, Yoshida, and Maeda
This group would probably focus on multilingual songs of all kinds, blending together different styles. Ishikawa of course knows lots of languages, Nakamura knows a bit of other languages, Yoshida’s just fun, and Maeda knows Russian!
Luka is their Vocaloid, since she’s known for being bilingual. I also think she would contribute to their chaos nicely.
Blossoming:
Hamasaki (leader), Fujimoto, Yasu, and Sasaki
They’re kind of like a traditional band like Leo/need, though a lot of their music is more calming. Fujimoto’s great with writing meaningful lyrics, though he doesn’t actually play with the rest of them. Hamasaki plays guitar, Yasu’s on percussion, and Sasaki’s on keyboard. All three of them trade off vocals.
Meiko is their Vocaloid, I think mostly because I associate these four with being more mature/older sibling-figures, kind of like how I think about Meiko.
On Your Feet:
Ueda (leader), Rikimaru, Abe, and Aoyama
They’re slightly more pop-focused, kind of in the realm of dance music. It’s surprising that Abe and Aoyama are part of the group in that regard, but the four of them work incredibly well together (barring some small bickering here and there).
Kaito is their Vocaloid, and I think he’d cycle between being a sort of mediator and contributing to their excellent vibes, haha.

Look at my AITSF Warrior Cats AU!!! Note: Sizes aren't accurate because I drew them all on seperate canvases, I just compiled them to make sharing easier
(Left to right, top to bottom: WC: Pewter, Boss, Date, Mizuki, Aiba, Kagami RC: So, Saito, Renju, Iris, Hitomi, Ota, Mayumi, Ritsuko, Nasu, Amame SC: Moma, Rohan, Dokuta, Chinpei Loners: Falco, Mama)
Specifics under cut
The bodyswapping is still a thing, but I don't really know how it'd work (I haven't read the latest books with the impostor and so on). I think anything is possible in Warriors at this point though.
For plot reasons, cats are able to freely visit other clans' territories and associate with cats outside their clan.
Only based off the first game. While I am aware of the additions/retcons of AINI, I stuck to what was established in the first game for straightforwardness' sake.
-
Saito/Date's colourpoint design is inspired by the lovely @strawby-fields' cat designs! Particularly the fact that colour point cats can become darker.
Although Pewter's role is different here, he's still very clever and talented. Also, he knows what a car is.
Aiba is a normal cat. She was mentored by Pewter, and then was assigned to watch over Date when he arrived at Windclan's territory all confused. They ended up becoming best friends and go everywhere together.
Mizuki is Date's apprentice. She was born in RC, but after Renju and Shoko split up, Shoko left Riverclan and Renju asked Date to raise Mizuki. She doesn't see her parents much.
And yes, no one remembers Kagami's warrior name.
-
Saito was raised in Riverclan by So, but he's off... "Soul-searching."
Renju, Manaka, and Hitomi trained together as apprentices and remained close friends after becoming warriors. The Manaka situation is still a thing, but I don't know how exactly it'd work here.
Renju and Pewter are together, of course! When Pewter doesn't have to attend to his duties, he meets Renju at the borders and neutral grounds to spend time together. It's not forbidden nor a secret, but not a lot of other cats know about it.
-
Shadowclan has a shady reputation because of Rohan, but Moma is trying to clean things up now that he's leader. Oddly enough, quite a few RC cats have connections to SC, both past and present...
Rohan has been missing for quite some time. He's been assumed dead.
-
Mama isn't part of the clans, but everyone likes her so she's friendly with a lot of cats. (Knows a lot about clan affairs despite being an outsider, too.)
Mama lives in the barn and all cats are welcome to come hunt the prey that's around and relax.
Falco is a loner, but he spent a lot of time around the clan and had relationships in several. He attracted Rohan's attention when he went after some clan cats. Rohan kept him around as a sort of "honorary clanmate" to avoid suspicion from the other clans. He also started spending more time around Riverclan to be with Hitomi and Iris.
-
The characters I didn't include (Manaka, Takero, Takushi, Shoko, etc etc) still exist and do their thing, but I just didn't feel like drawing them for one reason or another.

Yuu running away
Guys please listen, cause I know I’m not the only one thinking this. I’m really hopeful that Yuu runs into Rigr & CO but also Not because since everything is STILL f*cking according to sikas plan. That would be bad…..
And plus I’m dying to see Yuu meet Rigr again and to know what he thinks of him.

Hello!I really love your analyses (I am trying to read them all)and having personally returned to the fandom after 4 years it feels like I discovered a hidden gem.
Since my favourite characters are all vampires and since Ferid is also one I would like to ask you what do you think the ending of the vampire race will be like?I mean with the way the story is going it seems that in the end all the vampires are sadly going to die either from the resurrection or with Saito finding a way for them to die as he promised.I would like it if they somehow get turned back into humans and somehow live a peaceful life but it seems highly unlikely 😔.I love Kagami for creating such a complex and deep story but since Horn and Chess appeared there is a high chance that Lacus and Rene will also and seeing my boy Lacus finally appear after 6 years ( his last appearance in the manga was in 2018 if I am not mistaken) to just die hurts 😭.
(I know this is a pretty complex ask and you are not obligated to answer it if it's too much also I don't know if you have answered this already so if you did I am sorry)
Hello!
Please, do not worry about the complexity of the question.
It is true, this ask is one that requires more thought, but it is a pertinent one that deserves attention.
"Hidden gem", this is perhaps the nicest compliment I received here. Thank you so much!
I am really glad that my analysis is helpful and enlightening to this fascinating story. I will try to attach all my analysis in the masterlist to make it easier to read. (I kind of lost track of them and the analysis masterlist does not have them all. Sorry for that. )
Now about your question.
The answer is a complex one, and I really do not think I can offer anything with certainty.
Thus, I will rather discuss the existing possibilities and any assumptions I have.
In the end, we will see what happens in the manga further. What is certain is that I am sure that the ending will be extraordinary and full of meaning, commensurate with this special story, and I support the author whatever he chooses next.
Now I will present my ideas.
In the OnS world, there is a lot of emphasis on the concept of "soul". How the whole universe is created as a "prison" for this soul.
Infinite reincarnation, without the possibility of an end or a meaningful destination for the soul. This is how human life works here, in a continuous vicious circle.
To me, vampirism is simply another form of reincarnation. The same impossibility of freeing the soul, the same immortal "life", the same lack of meaning for the soul, only now in one body and at the cost of altering the memories and personality of the human souls trapped in this form of curse.
Moreover, vampire souls, as I said, do not have the possibility to die. They can only pass into another "form", as demons. So it is about human persons cursed with vampirism, which in the end can only become demons. Still a "circle" type trajectory, without escape.
That is why, I think, that just as humanity needs a new "restart", a release from infinite reincarnations (which maybe the resurrection will do), the souls of vampires need a form of release, of rest.
How will this happen?
Honestly, I do not know. Vampire souls are human, that much is clear. No matter what form they exist in: mortal human body, immortal vampiric body, demonic entity, it is all about human souls in different forms.
And right now there is no Heaven for these human souls, under any form, you know?
From here we can draw the conclusion, that maybe if Sika's suffering will find a solution, and if Guren will succeed in the resurrection, the laws of the OnS world will change and the possibility of a Heaven for all these souls will appear?
But the answer is, frankly, a complicated one. Because it is not just one way, I think.
For example, the vampires transformed by Sika Madu are basically the reincarnations of his angels. And Sika Madu wants to go back to Heaven with them, from whence they fell. So maybe these vampires will return to this Heaven in the end? As angels again, or as human souls?
But there are many other vampires who are not reincarnations of those angels, like Ferid, Crowley, Basteya, Lacus, René, Chess, Horn and the rest of the vampire race. These were just people. So what will be their ending?
And there is also something else. We are talking about the resurrection, which involved the death of every vampire, either for the resurrection of humanity or Mikaela.
But from what we have seen recently, these vampires are not much in the form of "vampires" anymore. Hundreds of them have been ingested by Ferid and their souls are in a state of metamorphosis to the demon form in Ferid's inner dimension.
Here comes a guess of mine.
Mahiru Hiiragi, before becoming a demon, said something, "Next time I am reborn I want to be an ordinary girl."
I think these words of hers should be taken more seriously, considering that since the age of 11 she has had visions and nightmares including about the Apocalypse. Perhaps she knew that there was a possibility that human souls who had reached the demon state would be reborn as humans someday. Perhaps this is a consequence of the resurrection Guren is currently working on.
Mostly, I do not think Ferid is working against Guren's plan by his current actions. Given that Guren's plan directly fights against Sika Madu's purpose, and that Ferid is involved in this plan willingly, I strongly believe that the "resurrection of mankind" means the restoration of the laws of this universe as well. That is, including what Ferid wants since he was 16, "breaking that circle", of meaningless reincarnation, changing the broken laws of the world.
Tumblr media
Especially, Ferid did not say that he does not want anyone to ever be born again, but that he wants no one to ever be reborn in that " putrid " world. In that world of broken laws, which holds souls meaninglessly captive in infinite reincarnations.
Birth and rebirth are two different things. Or resurrection versus rebirth.
Rebirth drags the soul into a new life even if that soul has already lived a life. Rebirth leaves no room for rest.
Resurrection restores a life ruined by something, repairs it and perhaps gives it another meaning.
And if new laws are established for the universe, if the problem of infinite reincarnation in this hellish world is solved and Heaven is opened for human souls, maybe one good life will be given to resurrected human souls?
A life with meaning, at the end of which the soul has a Heaven where it can go.
And perhaps, the souls of vampires ingested by Ferid and turned into demons, as Mahiru Hiiragi implied, can "reincarnate" again as humans, now in a world that offers only one good and meaningful life for each soul, followed of the possibility of entering Heaven.
Thus, in this version, Ferid can be considered to represent the "gateway" through which vampire souls can get a chance to later regain their humanity.
And in the end, maybe the only vampire to die will be Ferid.
I think all vampires except him have had someone who loved them. Look at Horn and Chess, who are good friends in my view, or Lacus and René. Or Crowley with his comrades, with the friends he must have had in his previous life as Ferid's older brother.
All of them had love in their lives, people who loved them. And maybe that is why they need a new good life with these beloved people.
And Ferid, truly unloved by anyone, is the "sacrificial lamb", no matter how surprising it seems.
Basically, his greatest frustration is the rotten way his world works, its meaningless laws, the creation out of darkness by a corrupt God. And perhaps his happy ending is to die, leaving behind through his actions a world of meaning, a world born of love, something he always longed for but could not have.
There is a lot to say in this hypothesis, but what I am pointing out is that I am sure that Ferid will have a direct confrontation with Sika Madu, and more than anything, a discussion with this god of his, in which he will again demand the reason why everything is like that.
If you remember chapter 76 where Ferid asked Sika why the world is like this.
Tumblr media
I think Sika might be willing to give Ferid an answer in the end.
In a way, you know, it may sound strange, but I feel a great similarity between Ferid and Sika Madu. Such a similarity that it seems for me that Ferid is a reflection of the curse placed on Sika Madu.
I would go into a lot of detail, but I risk making this essay too long.
The idea is that Ferid longs for a world with meaning, that good God, harmony and the possibility of a Heaven, the breaking of the cursed circle on earth. Just as Sika longed to reach Heaven again, where his Father (the other God) was, and just as he was cursed to live endlessly on that earth exactly like a Hell.
Even chapter 134, the fact that Ferid's memories where we find out how he feels about reincarnation follows the panel when Shinoa tells Sika that she will see all his memories. Beyond the sudden shift in perspective specific to the series. Perhaps this is also a clue related to what I say about the similarity between Ferid and Sika, about the sufferings of both.
If anyone is interested, I can elaborate more on this theory about Ferid and Sika.
Now, in conclusion, I am sure that no matter how everything ends, the vampire species will no longer exist. They are a cursed creation born of the suffering, frustrations and curse of Sika Madu. This is how the first vampire was "born", from his negative emotions generated by the received curse. So automatically this curse has to be resolved somehow.
And with the vampire species gone, surely their souls will find peace one way or another. I think a balance will be reached in the end.
I also have an idea for how Ferid could achieve this balance. I can elaborate on this in another post if anyone is interested.
After all, it remains to be seen how the author ends this fascinatingly profound story. I have full faith in Kagami and I am sure that the end of the story will teach us valuable things.
That is all for now. I feel like I wrote chaotically again. Please come back with questions about anything you feel. This topic is one that needs to be discussed a lot.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to look into it a bit. I had never answered this question before.
Thank you very much for the trust in my interpretation! I hope this answer was at least a little helpful!
My inbox is always open for such discussions. And remember that kind feedback is welcome!
I wish you and whoever finds this post a good day!

Now that we’e getting closer to the reveal of the First’s actual motives in OnS, I’m pretty nervous about the manga to be honest. I don’t want Shikama to be someone who earns sympathy. I don’t want Shikama’s motive to be family either. I’m so tired of all our “villain” characters trying to justify their actions as do it for family.
guren committing atrocious crimes for family
mahiru manipulating and abusing everyone she meets to protect her sister
saito doing whatever saito does to save urd???
asura and krul betraying their allies for each other.
yuu now becoming a gremlin for mika.
Personally, I think this is getting old. Yes, OnS is a story about family. But it’s also so much more than that? The thing that makes Kureto and Ferid so interesting is that they serve themselves. That’s also why they are some of the more dividing characters by fandom lines, which I think is neat. People can hate those characters because there is no real societal expectation to sympathize with a dictator or nihilist.
I’m a little concerned because Kagami leans on the side of “sympathetic” characters, but that would only create another Mahiru situation in the manga in which most readers are going to be unsatisfied if Mahiru/Shikama get the Happy end. To me, this would just be bad writing. A character may have positive motives and commit horrible actions, but those motives don’t always (or even somewhat) really justify their choices. Considering how many lives Shikama ruined (and the world he destroyed), I will be very dissatisfied if he is supposed to be a Sad Boy.

bout to finally start Banana Fish after making a post about it a month ago or something, and I'm like... nervous??
why I do not know lmao
prob cause its my first new anime since 2017!
and it couldn't have sounded like a more perfect anime to get into
the funniest thing of all, when I made that post about all the qualities that make it look amazing (and then only finding out the KEY ANIMATOR for the series is TAKAHIRO KAGAMI which boosts it up even more), I never looked at the VA's
bc I want to be a surprise, see if I know them
especially seeing as, there's a rise of new VA's now that are taking over. from my own personal perspective, I'd call them the third wave.
first wave to me are the big guns, like Hiroshi Kamiya, OnoD, Nakamura Yuichi, Suwabe Junichi, Takahiro Sakurai, etc etc
back when I first liveblogged back between 2013 to 2017, I'd talk a lot about VA's that were rising in the ranks and getting bigger roles as the years passed
biggest of all now being Eren's VA Kaji Yuki, Kaneki's VA Hanae Natsuki, then there's also Soma Saito, Kaito Ishikawa, Oosaka Ryouta, Ono Kensho, Hosoya Yoshimasa, (and my dudes Kimura Ryouhei and Koukiyama Ucchi). they were just starting to get roles at the time, and now they've a fuck tonne of roles. its lovely to see.
third wave are these young VA's that I do not know, but are in all the new, big, current animes. so I'm likely to not know a whole lot of people in current animes. but I'm excited to get to know them as VA's are literally my thing.
I'm pumped

Hey since they're all gone now and we'll never get to know anything about their past can you do some hcs about chess and horn and how they met Crowley? Love your blog!
Hello! Sure thing!
SPOILERS‼️
But oh gosh how the new chapter broke my heart(though I still love Ferid my pookie but he needs to calm down lol)
How did Chess Belle and Horn Skuld meet Crowley Esuford
Tumblr media
-remember that these are all my opinions‼️
So,to start off,I like to think that they had some kind of connection to Crowley being a crusader.
Like they met maybe after Crowley Eusford became a vampire because of Ferid and Saito's blood being given to him.
I feel like Chess Belle and Horn Skuld are best friends since their childhood and that lead to them working in the same place during those times and maybe like that they met Crowley.
If we agree on the theory that they met Crowley after he became a vampire, then I think the following:
-He must've found them when he didn't know how this vampire thing worked out and how it did affect him.
-He must've thought that if Horn and Chess become vampires like him they would just gain immortality and that was it.Like no suffering or boredom from this eternity without sense.
-I think he didn't turn them forcefully,I think just that all 3 of them didn't know much about this vampire-thing going on and went just like "yep, immortality, cool".
-I mean of course not like that, but something similar, like something foolish.
I don't like to think that Crowley forcefully turned them into vampires because he is just the type to NOT do that.Like look at him,he's waaaay nicer than most vampires.
And judging by the fact that when vampires are in their early stage, they still have some remaining human emotions and feelings going on,I am sure that he didn't force them into becoming vampires.
Their meeting was probably like Crowley being starved to death by not wanting to drink blood and then them coming to help him in some sorta context.
I honestly wanna hear how Kagami himself thinks how their meeting went, but I don't think we'll ever get that😔.
Sorry if this was messy but that's all I got out of my mind,I just don't have enough details on how they could've met.But I bet it's some interesting story.
Thank you for your request!!!

The Beast of the Apocalypse
Check out this pic from Chapter 81:
Tumblr media
Even though Saito says the beast is all "smoke and mirrors," the real one is probably something like that too. The heads most likely link up with the trumpets/seraphs/keys/seven deadly sins. So, going from left to right, I think that:
Dragon = wrath/violence (Sixth Trumpet?)
Lion = pride/vainglory
Wolf = greed/avarice (Second Trumpet?)
Goat = lust/lechery
Bear = sloth/apathy (Fifth Trumpet?)
Ram(?) = gluttony/excess
But theres one missing... so the only thing I can think of is that Tenri's snakes = envy/jealousy:
Tumblr media
I wonder how the chains can function this way... actually, I wonder about a lot of things... Kagami has some serious explaining to do ;w;

Hi, again! I have to admit that the end of this chapter intrigued me quite a bit. I definitely wanna see where they’re going with Shinoa’s powers over demons. After a lot of time spent on angel flashbacks, it’s a good reminder that the humans have unique roles to play. I liked seeing the Shinoa squad, although spending time on crushes I’m not particularly invested in and making very vague, somewhat redundant plans was kinda boring. I enjoy some good girl talk, but I’m not particularly excited about having so many different groups working towards basically the same goal. It’s similar to what you pointed out about Saito still not siding with The First. It sorta seems as if everyone is stating similar values but personal issues are stopping them from just working together and actually accomplishing shit. Idk maybe it’s just me, but I think some of the most engaging and productive moments happened bc of the dynamics within the alliances. As of now, there’s at least 4 different factions, which truly seems unnecessary at this stage. Regardless of how happy an ending we get, I’d feel a bit unsatisfied if 1/4 groups succeeded at the expense of all the others failing. No matter which group it is, because they all have an interesting perspective and feel like protagonists in unique ways. I’m lowkey rooting for them all, so I’d really prefer if they could just compromise lol. I’m sure that solution is way too idealistic of me, but it’s not my fault Kagami wrote such sympathetic characters 😔
On another note… Happy Birthday!!! If I remember right, it should’ve just passed. I hope you had a great day <3
First off, oh my god! You remember! I didn’t expect that. At the time of posting this, yes, it would have been four days ago, but you sent this Tuesday so you were pretty spot on! Thank you so much! I did have an okay day!
I’m actually excited to see where Shinoa’s powers go as well! For quite some time now, the story has hyped Shinoa up as being special and ‘the perfect experiment’ or however it was phrased, but we’d had no real indication of it until now. It’s about time we shifted from tell to show. I’m hoping it gives her a bit more agency. However, I will say that Shinoa, or really rather how Kagami writes her, does disappoint me a bit in other ways, which leads me to the next thing you bring up.
I don’t hate Yuunoa. I don’t care for it either, but the fact that this chapter sorta confirms that Shinoa doesn’t have that much of a driving force outside of it makes me quite sad. You could argue that other Hiragis (Mahiru and Shinya) have a similar thing going on and they do, but there’s more than that, even if the story prefers bringing up Guren as their main motivation instead. Mahiru has the whole thing with wanting agency to live how she wants (which ties to Guren but I firmly believe can stand on its own) as well as wanting to protect Shinoa, as twisted as her methodology was. Shinya also had his goal of wanting to break free from the Hiragis before Guren became what he’d rather stand for. Being able to see that shift adds quite a bit of depth to that.
What else does Shinoa have going on really? As she says her she doesn’t feel like she has much reason for living, so she mind as well have this fight with Mitsu over Yuu be that driving force. You could say it’s similar to Yuu since he’s sorta said Mika is his reason for living, but I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of that either. I liked how Yuu was, at one point, able to somewhat move on and live for others (the Shinoa squad and Guren at the time) he was getting better in a way! But I don't want to rant for too long. End of the day, I kinda wish Shinoa had goals that didn't center around Yuu, even if she ended up dropping them at some point. As she said, she's really just been along for the ride her whole life.
It's nice to see Mitsu actually back and doing something though! Mitsu fans come get your food! I too wish they'd talked about something else, but what can you do I guess. It's just nice to see her. The focus hasn't been on her in SO long.
Now the whole Shinoa Squad being a new group. Yeaaaah this is driving me a bit insane as well. Weren't they just working with Guren, Mahiru, and Ferid? Why is that suddenly changing? I get that it's because they think them untrustworthy, and I get it to a degree, but it's exactly as you said. There's just SO many groups that are fighting for similar things that it's become kinda weird? Like... why did Guren and Mahiru even let the Shinoa Squad run off? They don't appear to be around, and I know that their priority is probably Yuu, but it feels weird that they're suddenly just elsewhere now when they were working together last we saw. It feels like we're missing something here. Anyways. I can't imagine these groups won't join up later, but the fact that we now have to follow 3 different groups (with there being 5 or maybe 6 factions atm) is going to make for an even more disjointed story. And that's one of the big problems with OnS. It's story is kind of all over the place and it can be difficult to follow with how much it jumps around and drops plot points and characters for no reason only to pick them up later like nothing happened. Nothing I've seen here instills me with confidence that this problem will get better.
That all being said, I didn't hate the chapter. Shinoa squad as a whole hasn't felt like they've been the main focus since the Nagoya arc and while I don't think we'll be following them for too long, it's about time they became more relevant. Maybe what I'm saying is a bit contradictory since I just complained about different factions, but hey, there's some pay off here with Shinoa and her abilities like I mentioned earlier, so idk. It's something.
