THE FIVE GREAT HOUSES OF ADILISTAN.

an introduction to the five major houses that make up the world of my wip.

HOUSE LAHARI.

House Lahari, the first house of the Noon dynasty, held the ports. Mounted in a castle that sat atop a lone hill overlooking Sand Bay, House Lahari manned all ships and overlooked all trade that concerned their sacred land.

Descended from Karamat Lahari, a sailor who was said to have won the Goddess Phauzia’s favour by presenting her with a lithe snake that sung and danced and coiled around her arm like a bracelet, House Lahari was the first of the Fated Five upon whom befell tragedy.

HOUSE PIRZADA.

House Pirzada, the second house of the Noon dynasty, overlooked infrastructure. Great temples with open roofs were built for the Goddess Phauzia, lest her rays miss all who came seeking her counsel. The Pirzadas were a simple people, more devout than most, and quiet in a way that left one wondering indeed if they were more foe than friend.

Their descendent, Sefa Pirzada, was said to have been a close companion of Phauzia, and one of her most trusted advisors and friends. It was a bond her blood refused to forgo.

HOUSE LAAL.

House Laal, the third house, were masters of swordsmanship. From the forging of steel to its expert wielding, House Laal dominated all. They sired the greatest warriors the Sol had ever known, including Ramineh Laal the Ruthless, their descendant who ensured a name for all that would share her blood.

Many whispered that she had been the one to aid Phauzia in the carving of the throne, that it had been Laal hands that welded the seat that now housed foreign and—some would argue—unworthy inhabitants.

HOUSE JAFARI.

House Jafari, the fourth, knew more of matters of expenditure than gold itself. Calculated and sharp, they sat the council of every Noon King and Queen to come into power as the doyen of funds. They worked closely with every house to ensure funds were equally distributed, for the betterment of the realm.

Yanik Jafari had been witty enough to yield the Goddess’ interests. It was his knowledge and quick calculations that kept them there, however, and no more quickly was she impressed by him than she had him placed at the head of her own council so that all matters of outlay pass to him.

HOUSE NOON.

Lastly, House Noon, the fifth and final house of the Noon dynasty, and the house that brought about its shining glory. House Noon yielded the greatest power of them all, one that irrefutably trumped all others: the blood of Phauzia. For while the Fated Five possessed the blessing of the Goddess, her very being flowed in House Noon’s veins.

The work of Phauzia’s carving rested beneath their fingertips, their bones, and its power was conclusive. Their blood was worthy; picked by the shining Phauzia herself when she fell in love with a comely village man by the name of Mumtaz Noon. Their love was one that singers and merchants alike prattled of on the shores of Sand Bay to ensure commerce. A man with no inheritance to ensure the great Phauzia even a semblance of luxury nor comfort, Mumtaz had only a slight ring, thin as wisps and dispensable for the likes of the Goddess. But she loved him for his character, not his glory, and they lived a life of prosperous rule, during which they sired multiple children and grandchildren to inherit the kingdom after them.

It was said that when a Noon sat atop the throne it glowed with sunbeams sent from the sky lands above, a boon from the long-departed Phauzia and her consort Mumtaz as a mark of their favour.

this will be a short lil drabble thing because karamatsu is a little hard to write for (for me at least!)

“Karamats-mmph!” Your boyfriend’s lips found its way to your own once again, your head slightly spinning and your heart pounding against your chest.

That’s all you two have been doing for the past hour and a half.

Making out on your couch while the title screen of the romcom you two decided to watch played over and over again.

The popcorn bowl you were sharing was long forgotten and strewn across the floor while the two of you locked lips with each other.

After a few seconds, your eyes flutter close as you kiss him back, heat radiating off of both of your guys’ cheeks.

Karamatsu pulled away and looked down at you while propped up on his forearms, a blush so obviously present on his handsome face.

“My Karamatsu lover…I…as much as I love laying sweet kisses against your heavenly lips…I…well…if I may confess..” His voice trailed off as did his eyes but you brought his attention back when you cupped his cheek with one hand and gently faced him towards you. “What is it Karamatsu…?” You spoke softly, his name rolling off of your tongue so smoothly.

He sighs and leans into your touch, giving your hand a small kiss before he speaks in a low tone. “I…” You looked over his face in concern and nodded for him to continue. his dark brown eyes trail away again.

“I want…to touch you…”

His voice trailed off at the last bit and you almost barely heard it but you just smiled and tilted his face up to meet yours.

“Do it then….touch me Karamatsu..”

That was all he needed for him to capture your lips into a searing kiss and run his big, warm hands along your body.

You shuddered slightly at his touch and arched your back into him, making him press his body against you slightly harder.

He may have been a romantic at heart and preferred taking you slowly but god did that all break down when it all becomes pent up inside of him.

Karamatsu couldn’t get enough of you.

And you sure as hell couldn’t get enough of him.

For example, in Surah Yunus (10:62-63), Allah says, "Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve; Those who believe and (constantly) guard against evil." This indicates that the Awliya Allah are those who have unwavering faith and righteousness, and who are under the special protection of Allah.

The concept of Awliya Allah is also emphasized in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. He is reported to have said, "Allah has said, 'Whoever takes a friend of Mine as an enemy, I declare war against him.' My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have imposed upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears; his seeing with which he sees; his hand with which he strikes; and his foot with which he walks."

The qualities of the Awliya Allah, as described in Islamic teachings, include piety, humility, fear of Allah, love of goodness, patience, and gratitude. They are known for their devotion to worship, their adherence to Islamic teachings, and their service to humanity. They are considered spiritual guides and role models for the Muslim community, and their exemplary conduct serves as an inspiration for others to follow.

Furthermore, the concept of Awliya Allah is not limited to a specific group or sect within Islam. Instead, it encompasses individuals from diverse backgrounds who have attained the highest levels of spiritual excellence and closeness to Allah. It is believed that the Awliya Allah are granted special blessings and spiritual insights, and that they may even have the ability to perform miracles (Karamat) through the divine power bestowed upon them by Allah.

In Islamic tradition, the recognition and veneration of the Awliya Allah is a way to seek spiritual blessings and guidance. Many Muslims visit the tombs or shrines of revered saints and scholars, seeking their intercession and blessings. However, it is important to note that some Islamic scholars do not support this practice, as they believe it may lead to the worship of other than Allah, which is considered a form of shirk (associating partners with Allah) and is strictly prohibited in Islam.
