Hey Tumblr, I need people's help. I am looking for a Karate Kid/CK fic that I read a while ago and have lost. I feel like it has something about Green Tea in the title and it is a teen Lawrusso where for reasons I can't remember Johnny ends up staying at Miyagi-do and sits up all night because Daniel tells him not to move. AU!Johnny Lawrence sketch based on this post (X)

I personally love how this turned out, especially the colours in the background and the way that Johnny stands out. I’m going to draw another half with Daniel in it, but I got tired since I haven’t been sleeping well, so I’ll draw it tomorrow!

still fleshing out the AU but what I have so far is that Johnny wanted to thank Mr Miyagi for what happened in the parking lot and then wanted to ask if he could repay him in any way but halfway there, some teens, bordering on college age try to mug him in an alleyway (causing the cut across his face.) As a result, he decides not to thank Mr. Miyagi yet, but to go to a party some friends had invited him to when he gets absolutely hammered and decides to go find Daniel and beat his ass like he should of at the tournament (but verbally.)

And because every time I think about the parking lot scene from KK2 I have this feeling that the front of Johnny’s neck would have bruised really bad from that, not to mention that the crane kick (or just anything front that fight) from KK must have bruised or broken something , and since broken noses can cause bruising of the eye, I went with that.

I was thinking about my GI Johnny au (that’s the working title anyway) and I’m no closer to any actual plot, but I do know three things:

1. Johnny’s in Chozen’s military class:

2. The Air Force discipline is hard for Johnny to take seriously after Kreese’s betrayal.

(I tried color with this one and ended up with 2 alternatives:)

3. The Air Force definitely makes Johnny cut his hair :/ (but only so it doesn’t touch his collar, ears, or eyebrows apparently.) 

I--don’t know what actually happens, per say, but I definitely put him in the situation.

Last week, I commissioned my friend Adilson Reis (aka reisart) for artwork of my OTP, Jimmy and Julie, from my WIP fic Is This Love? Today, he shared the final product of his labor.

My OC Julie Lawrence is the sister of Johnny Lawrence from The Karate Kid/Cobra Kai and the love interest of his friend and fellow OG Cobra, Jimmy. This scene takes place in a future chapter of the story, which is still being written.
