Was it curiosity? Karnie Blue wasn't entirely sure what it was that drew her to the statue. No pony else seemed interested in it. To them, it was just another blade of grass dancing with the wind. It looked so plain compared to the colourful land that is Equestria. Sticking up like a needle in a haystack. It felt natural and calming, the same way she felt when she woke up in a makeshift burrow. But it was different this time, she wasn't afraid. She circled the column of stone a few times, not looking for anything in particular. But when she gazed into the eyes of the Changling Queen, her head became full of voices. But not one of them were her own. "SPAWNLET!" The voice bellowed as the little unicorn winced in pain. "What do you think you're doing?! Don't let those ponies corrupt you! You must free me from stone! It is your sworn duty to your queen and your mother!" Chrysalis's voice was as loud as standing next to dynamite. So much so, she had completely lost control of her body. Leaving her to quiver on the ground and begging for the pain to cease. "B-but how? How do I free you?" "That is for you to figure out. Do whatever you must to free your queen!"
