ITINERARY OF: 4 DAYS TOURS FROM MARRAKECH TO FES VIA DESERT
DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY
After that, we met at the agreed-upon location. We will begin our tour in the southeast, passing through the High Atlas via the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 meters), visiting the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, and stopping for lunch in a local restaurant. We will then cross the Atlas to about 2.300 meters, stopping to take in the spectacular views and see the Berber villages. Later, we’ll continue to Ait Benhaddou’s Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penélope Cruz have all been filmed on this stunning stage. Lunch hour in town is free. Then We’ll continue on to Ouarzazate, “Africa’s Hollywood,” and stop for pictures at Africa’s second largest studio, “Atlas studio.” We’ll also view the Taourirt Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most stunning Kasbahs. The Rose Valley, which runs through the Skoura palms, is the next stop on the itinerary; it’s a lovely spot to admire the more than 700.000 palm trees and several kasbahs that dot the landscape. Damascene roses are grown in this valley for cosmetic purposes, such as rosewater. In May, the Rose Festival is celebrated here, and it is a significant event in Moroccan culture. We arrive in Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.
DAY 2 : DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA – BERBER TENTS.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart Dades valley for Todra gorge, where we may marvel at the large number of kasbahs and their unique beautiful features. From Tineghir, a nice asphalt road travels up the valley to the gorge and then to the desert. The scenery is breathtaking. Locals dwell in the area, and their adobe villages can be observed. These gorges are popular with rock climbers due to their various uneven surfaces on the rock sides. After a short walk through the Todra gorges, you’ll have time to stop at Touroug for lunch before continuing on to Erfoud. You’ll pay a visit to a local fossil craft shop. After that, you’ll travel to Erg Chebbi’s fascinating sand dunes.Following that, you will travel to the fascinating Erg Chebbi Dunes, commonly known as Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel and prepare for an hour-and-a-half camel trip to watch the sunset. You will continue to the camp or an overnight in a traditional nomad tent while riding on the back of your camls. Dinner and a night in the middle of the dunes in a bivouac.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA – NOMADS – KHAMLIA VILLAGE – ERG CHEBBI.
The day is spent in the desert. “Sunrise date” is a phrase that means “dating with the sunrise.” If you’re in the midst of the desert, it’s well worth getting up early to see the most amazing sunrise you’ve ever seen from the top of a dune near the camp and take in this natural wonder. We return to Merzouga on camels after sunrise, where a sumptuous breakfast awaits us. Then we’ll skirt the Erg Chebbi, a vast stretch of sandy desert where we’ll locate Morocco’s Big Dune, which stands more than 250 meters high. We next continue on the road that was once utilized for the “Paris – Dakar” race, which ends in the Algeria Mountains. Stopping in Tissardmin oasis, where we can still see fossil quarries, we continue on a route where we can observe nomad settlements and learn about their secrets and customs. The next stop will be at a lookout point to take in the beauty of Erg Chebbi. We’ll then arrive at Kamilia Village, which is originally from Mali, where we’ll enjoy a relaxing cup of tea while listening to a Gnawa spiritual music event. Transfer to your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the town or watching the sunset from the dunes close to the hotel. In the motel for dinner and the night. Make a pit stop in the Tissardmin oasis.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT – AZROU – IFRANE – FES
We begin our final day in the north after breakfast, passing through the world’s largest palm grove, Tafilalet. Thousands of palm trees will line the 20-kilometer road. This path takes us to the Ziz valley, where a river flows down from the high Atlas and irrigates the palm grove. We pause here to take in the spectacular view of the valley and the village of Aoufous from this high vantage point. We make another stop at Midelt (Apple’s capital), where we have free time for lunch in the heart of the Atlas. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey south, passing through various towns and giving you the chance to see nomads living in tents. Then we’ll travel to Azrou, where we’ll stop in Morocco’s largest cedar forest to see and play with Barbary apes. The Moroccan city of Ifrane is located at 1630 meters above sea level on the northern slope of the Middle Atlas. The city’s vast avenues, spotless urban development, gardens, open spaces, and architecture give it a Swiss feel.If that isn’t enough, it also has a major ski resort, Michlifen, which offers slopes down to fes in the winter

Aït Benhaddou is a fortified city, or ksar, along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco. It is situated in Souss-Massa-Drâa on a hill along the Ounila River and is known for its ksars, traditional Moroccan earthen dwellings. The best time to visit Aït Benhaddou is during the cooler months from October to April. The heat can be intense during the summer months. Aït Benhaddou has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Morocco. It is also featured prominently in many films and TV shows. If you are planning a trip to Aït Benhaddou, here are some things to keep in mind: Getting There Aït Benhaddou is located about 10 hours from Marrakech by car. The closest airport is in Ouarzazate, which is about an hour away. There are also buses that run from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, and from there you can take a taxi or minibus to Aït Benhaddou. Accommodation There are a few places to stay in Aït Benhaddou, including guesthouses, riads, and campsites. If you are looking for something more luxurious, there are also a few hotels in Ouarzazate. Sightseeing There is plenty to see and do in and around Aït Benhaddou. In addition to exploring the ksar itself, you can visit the nearby Aït-Ighane-n-Aït-Ighil village, the Taourirt kasbah, and the Tifoultoute kasbah.
