What I Read in April 2023
I hadn’t been sure about this series, but volume two kept my interest.
I think my enjoyment of Aphra has waned, so I don’t think I’ll be continuing.
Heine continues doing his best to be a good teacher and ter Princes are just hilarious disasters. ^_^
This volume was great! Lots of laughs and then really sad moments.
I liked it, I’ve watched bits of the anime, so it’s nice to start the manga from the beginning.
De-aged Train is fun. Hate this cover though.
Go Nagisa!
The only book I read this month, oops, got caught up reading harry potter fanfic instead. ^_^’ Anyway, I enjoyed the book over all, but did not like Anna or Grace, and Mathew and Alastair try my patience.
Mysterious back-story time!
This volume sucked me in right away. ^_^

What I Read May 2022
Yeah, after I got volume thirteen had to do a whole re-read of the series, I love it so much!
Depressing, but it is a dystopian. Well written as well, don’t think I’ll re-read again (see again the depressing bit). Overall a good book and I see why people praise it.
Train... actually left a dangerous situation? Is he really a shonen protagonist? XD
*this volume was a pain to find, like most listings had it as stupidly expensive, finally managed to get it but still... ^_^’
Lots of fighting (and Rukia scolding Ichigo)
Finally have read this book! I enjoyed it. ^_^ Very different world Nigeria is, where apparently (at least according to Sunny’s dad) twelve year old girls go out and get pregnant and you just full on send children to their possible deaths. I admit I never really warmed up to Chichi or Sasha as their personalities rubbed me the wrong way but I liked Orlu and Sunny.
final published (in english) volume. I guess I’ll have to see if I can find the rest online to read. (curse you tokyopop)
I think the strain is getting to Light, he’s slipping a bit. (also Soichiro!)
This was an unexpected purchase but it caught my eye and I really loved it. For one it doesn’t hate the concept of magical girls just twists it in a good way for our character who is a boy. Max is a fun protag (also I love the cat) and I love his cast of friends who are there for this very interesting journey. (also Max’s dad is the best)
It was okay, but for some reason this volume read weird to me... not sure what that was about.
Good, I enjoyed the stories (also I am obsessed with long haired Near now)
*DNF’d Any Duchess will Do by Tessa Dare, Borne by Jeff Vandermeer, and Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft
