While I am stilling writing up profiles and designing characters for my Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! series 'Hunted Butterfly', I decided to do a quick character lineup of my OCs that I considered to be a part of the main cast. I will have a line up for supporting characters and antagonists. 

I also wrote up some basic info about them as a form of roll call to introduce them to new people. 

From left to right we have; 

Salem- A demon spider-monkey hybrid. Knighted warrior of his home planet and guardian of his godson Reynold Nystrom Jr./Rain, he is Gibson's biological brother. His mysterious knowledge about Dark Ones and his unique combat have helped the Hyperforce team in many ways, they are concerned about his awareness of Dark Ones as he will not elaborate on where he got this knowledge from.

Tech- Commonly going by his nickname, a very skilled mechanic and Chrome's younger brother. He usually works alongside his creator/father in his projects and helping with raising his goddaughter, Sophie Ito. His understanding of new and old technology has helped the Hyperforce team a lot with fighting the war, he and Otto are close mechanic buddies as they work on new projects together while also having a mutual concern for Chrome albeit for slightly distinct reasons.

Chrome- A fully robot monkey mercenary as well as the chosen wielder of the Dark Reaper who fights the Krivark on his home planet. He is Tech's older brother and primary guardian of his goddaughter Sophie Ito; he later becomes Otto's boyfriend. He works to find the answers to many secrets relating to his home but also Eki's past, secretly having a feeling she's more important than what was originally thought to be.

Skyper- The last monkey created by the Alchemist and later became a Formless-Monkey Hybrid due to Skeleton King; he is Antauri's biological younger brother. He's very unique in not just biology but also in his general personality, at times he's mysterious even to himself. These days, he's acting as Eki's self-proclaimed guardian/protector.

Eki- A bionic human girl who was rescued from her 'creator' by the Hyperforce which after some time she becomes a member of the team and Chiro's foster sister. She is learning about life and freedom while adapting to her powers, thankfully for her she has a good support group in her growing development. 

Amy- The botanist of the Hyperforce, using her knowledge to help Gibson craft cures and keep the team safe from dangerous specimens on unknown worlds. She is also Sparx's younger biological sister; She's probably one of the very few who can stop everyone else from killing Sparx but will have her moments where she wants to 'kill' him. While not an occasional fighter, she can hold her own when needed. 

Azure Spear and Ruby Mace- A pair of monkeys who are very much in love to the point where they got married, they live on the same planet as Chrome and work various part-time jobs to keep themselves occupied. Azure is the peacekeeper while Ruby is the warrior, they in a way act as unofficial advisors to the Hyperforce with Ruby more of the fighting type mentor while Azure is the more emotional/mental advisor. They have a good relationship with the Hyperforce team while being old friends of Salem, Chrome and Tech. 

Octavia- A monkey-sea siren/mermaid hybrid and the adopted daughter to the current queen of Atlantia, an underwater kingdom that resides in the Shuggazoom ocean. She acts as the expert of sea life and later becomes Gibson's girlfriend, through her Gibson has learned to relax more and accept the concepts of 'magic' better. She's close to the female members of the team and has a good relationship with the males, Sparx is protective of her's and Gibson relationship. 

Coco- A young female monkey created by an exiled Veron Mystic member and raised as not just his student but also his daughter in a small pocket dimension. Other than the Power Primate, she had light and healing powers. She eventually becomes Antauri's girlfriend (And to Skyper's delight, his sister-in-law). She's honestly struggling to adapt to Shuggazoom but she knows that she'll be ok with the rest of the Hyperforce team with her. 

Kaneki- One and the only surviving prototype of the monkey team who later became a part of the Super Robot as a part of its subconscious and in control of it. When he is discovered and his new body is completed with the updated nano bots, he is fully trusted with controlling the Super Robot when needed and acts as a secondary advisor and guardian to the whole team. It is heavily implied that he and Antauri have developed a form of psychic connection due to the events of 'I, Chiro' while he's lowkey worrisome about Chiro's future. 

That's it for now, hopefully I will have written up the profiles for other characters as well.

Yes, I am currently on hiatus. I have too much on my plate at the moment and I'm dealing with many personal issues, related to work, mostly. I will likely return, or I might break my hiatus with a monthly update, just so people know I'm still kicking around.

Queen of the Sky - God Save the King!

I recently received these artworks of some characters from my upcoming novel, Queen of the Sky.

Freerunners - A Family Among the Stars

An aspect of my original Freerunners science fiction universe I've grown particularly fond of aren't the governments, but the groups of people 'just trying to survive.' It is the tagline of the Freerunners universe after all, it's a post-cyberpunk future where humanity gave up on their interstellar dreams and did geopolitics in space instead.

I've done a lot of updates to the worldbuilding. See below the cut

Freerunners

For some, Freerunners are trouble, for others they’re saviours, and for the powers that be, they’re a wild card. Explorers, smugglers, bounty hunters and mercs with a heart of gold alike can call themselves Freerunners. They operate outside the bounds of the Colonial Powers, either pushing the limits of human knowledge and engaging in scientific endeavour, scouting, and surveying new lands for potential colonisation, pursuing interstellar criminals or in some cases, doing the dirty work for some corp or interstellar criminal. It all depends on the profession of a Freerunner, and how moral (or immoral) they are. Freerunners are tolerated by some Colonial Powers but are also sometimes the targets of these same powers, especially if they engage in illegal activities like smuggling or mercenary work for the wrong customer. Corporations sometimes use them to move things around beneath the notice of those who would use these things to damage their reputations, or they might be hunting them as threats to the bottom line. Freerunners are often found in the frontier. They often aid in defending colonists and spacers, far from the protective umbrella of the colonial powers’ navies or space forces from Star Rakers and other threats.

Spacers

Spacers are without a doubt the new spaceborne working class of the Earth Colonies. They are the miners, space station crews, maintenance workers, cargo ship crews, zero-g workers and do all the dangerous jobs ‘gravlegs’ either ignore or take for granted. Spacers work thankless jobs, often for low pay, with harsh conditions and often, overbearing corporate control, or a government that either endorses their predicament, or is too spineless to stop it. Spacers often group themselves into Unions or Guilds, and have developed unique dialects, slang and cultural traditions. Often, Spacers and Star Nomads have shared dialects and slang from osmosis, as the two spacefaring groups often work alongside or with each other. Conditions for spacers vary wildly between the Colonial Powers. For spacers working in the Aurigan Commonwealth, they enjoy strong worker protections and extensive government oversight of their corporate masters, as well as strong unions. In places like the Confederation of Free Settlements, a nation that is well known for its Corp Worlds, Spacers often resort to militant activity to express their frustration, such as sabotage or strikes. Not all Spacers live under the yoke of the corporations, or even in the Earth Colonies. Some live in the Frontier, which is often beyond the control of the Colonial Powers, and so remote that the corporations have little financial incentive to expand that way. Here, Spacers are at the peak of their liberation and power, with organisations like the Frontier Spacers’ Union being well-known for managing the myriad space stations in the Frontier with strong workplace democracy and unionisation efforts.

Star Nomads

Star Nomad, sometimes known as ‘Starmad(s)’, is a generic term referring to people who are born and live in space. They move in huge convoys, reminiscent of Battlestar Galactica, between stars, making a living by moving freight, or working for mining corps, or in some cases, by illegal means such as smuggling, piracy or mercenary work. Star Nomads are self-reliant, technically minded, and ingenious. Star Nomads have, what they like to call ‘smek’ (a corruption of the Russian-language word ‘smekalka’, meaning ‘savvy’), a unique talent for improvisation, self-reliance and ingenuity that only being born into the Starmad lifestyle can grant. Starmads are loyal to their crew and their convoy. Crews function as a kind of family but are also analogous to a province within a nation. A convoy is basically a mobile country. Each convoy has a unique name, colours, culture, and heritage. Their ships are as diverse as the stars themselves, often smekked together due to their age, or because of a lack of repair facilities. Some wealthier Starmad convoys own space stations along popular jump routes, acting like deep space truck stops. These stations are deep space fuel depots, rest stops, repair docks and trading posts, and only make their parent convoy wealthier. Starmads who run these stations are known as ‘shashies’ and, depending on the culture of the convoy, treated with anything from kinship to derision. For some, Starmads are little more than organised Star Rakers. There is, however, a significant difference between Starmads and Rakers. The average Starmad is a law-abiding citizen who is trying to work to feed their families, their crews, and their convoys. As a group, they rarely resort to violent action, and they rarely commit crimes. However, their nomadic nature leads them to being treated with disdain by most of the colonies.

Star Rakers

Space pirates, shipjackers, raiders, scavengers and ne’er-do-wells of every sort, Star Rakers, or simply ‘Rakers’, are the unsavoury underbelly of deep space. The scourge of the Earth Colonies, Star Rakers are widely derided due to their reputation for wanton rape, pillage, and murder, like a bunch of Dark Age marauders. Star Rakers are about the only thing the colonial powers agree on, and that is that Rakers are ‘hostis humani generis’ (literally: enemies of mankind) and are liable to be shot on sight without repercussions. Many Rakers are former Star Nomads, exiled from their convoys for heinous acts that aren’t worthy of an immediate bullet to the head, or simply managed to evade justice. Star Rakers are a loose and diverse group, some see themselves as gentlemen pirates following Cruiser Rules, but in space. Others are dyed in the wool psychopaths who fight for the pleasure of killing, and others turn to this life as a result of the material conditions and economic realities that motivate Star Rakers, particularly the piratic, shipjacking and scavenging sorts.

Final thoughts

My monthly updates will be a combination of Cyberpunk VP, the monthly Airfleet Universe update, and a look into Freerunners.

My longer term wish list is to go back to regular posting. At this stage, there are no firm plans.

Winx Club Headcanons – Personality Traits and Magical Abilities

Lord Nabu Ophir Kareem Bahr of Atlantia, High Wizard of the Andros System

Nabu is the eldest child of Lord Adeel Omar Nabu Bahr and Lady Zara Sofi Bahr of the second most powerful planet in the Androsian system – Atlantia. Nabu is the oldest of 6 children and was the heir to his familia land and titles until he abdicated at 18. From a young age Nabu was betrothed to Helisia, another influential noble on Atlantia, until a marriage was arranged by King Teredor and Queen Niobe of the Androsian system.  Nabu was raised isolated from those outside his planet and system, however, he was an extremely social and friendly child and he didn’t struggle to make friends, both inside and outside his station.

Nabu was educated on Atlantia both in forms of combat, strategy and magix.  When he graduated, he was offered a position to further his magical talent, by training in Andros’ deep ocean with the merfolk. This opportunity is what pushed his magic to being superior to every other surface wizard or sorcerer in his system.  Nabu’s magical abilities combined with his natural ability in stealth made him an expert in espionage and trickery.  He is also proficient in hand-to-hand combat, long range weapons, strategy and flight. These skills have made him highly sought after in the magic dimension, as very few wizards or sorcerers have his type of magic abilities and his knowledge of specialist combat.

Nabu is an honest person, very rarely inclined to lie to one’s face. This characteristic has also made him compassionate, kind and understanding of others and their situations. He is also extremely rational, and able to take a step back before making any serious decisions.  He can also think quickly in time sensitive tasks and he is able to adapt his combat and magical abilities to suit whatever he needs at the time.  Nabu’s flaw, however, is that he is selfless and almost self-sacrificing to a degree. His ability to care and give his life for others without a thought, is eventually what got him killed , when he sacrificed himself in the battle against the Black Circle.

2K Celebration: Plot Creation: Can I please request some plots for my newest OC (who’s still in the plot development stages) who is from Disney’s Descendants.

-Her name is Malana, who is the daughter of Monna.

-Her faceclaim is Auli'i Cravalho

-Her love interest is Melody from The Little Mermaid 2 (who’s faceclaims is Zendaya - I’ve based the casting on Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King from the new live action film)

-She loves surfing and the beach

How do they meet and is Malana aware that mermaids exist? If she’s Moana’s daughter she definitely has the stories of Maui and Te Fiti but are mermaids legends to her or something she’s aware exist but has never seen. Since it’s set in Descendants like do they know one another already from possibly living in Auradon (or if you’re thinking the full 3 films do they meet at Auradon Prep)

With the two of them both having different views of the sea with Melody having awareness of Atlantia versus Malana having Polynesian legends influence her. What do they think of the stories each tell? How are they in interacting with one another with different perspectives of the sea?

Can Melody surf or does she have an interest in it? Would be cool to see Malana maybe teaching her how to surf or honestly just the two of them having a beach day, maybe with other Descendants characters.

Rebooting my old "Tecna and Zenith AU"

Zenith is orginally not born in the magic universe. It was transported there because of a horrible event called "The war of the three worlds"

Zenith and the second world Omegion, their ally that fought in the war fell leaving the strongest planet known as Primon Victiorium on it's own as the strongest planet.

Tecna or Techama fought in this war as a nymph of Zenith (Nymph of life and death) to everyone shock. But she was badly injured and lost her Nymph powers. She was degraded back to Magic winx and lost many of her memories. Making also her mentality regress back to 16 year old.

She slowly regained her powers and memory again. But only the death mixed with the power of technology.

When she becomes a nymph again she will become the nymph of destruction. Never to become the nymph of death and life again.

Tecna dosen't want remeber the past because she loses herself to her anger and go on a murderous rampage.

Tecna has scars around her back from the war and turning into full Zenithian. Which she hides with skin color paint from Zenith.

The winx are shocked when they see her scars. And are horrified to hear that magic can not take away her scars.

The reason she got badly injured and nearly died was because of betrayal of her "sister" The nymph of justice and her "former lover" the primo victorium prince and demon general of the raging fire.

Leaving her "sister", aunt and last of her race as the only pure Apexians left.

They were deemed as traitors by the hive minds and if they are even seen they will be executed.

Tecna's brothers was also fighting in this war. After her nearly dying in the war so are they fiercly protective of her.

The planet arrived the same day as Domino fell at the hands of the three ancestral witches.

Zenith had a healthy ecosystem. But after getting teleported from their old universe The planets rotation truly went to hell. Making so it became eternal winter.

But Zenithians was not affected of this change. Because before they arrived to Magic universe they were not called the hightech race. They were race of the dead .

No it was even worse! It was their sister race the Apexian's, the race of life and it killed nearly all of them off.

Only halfa's and a lucky few by forcibly turning them to full blooded Zenithians.

Their death took hard on Zenithians. Many lost their wife, husband, daughter, son, grandchild, cousin and friends. Apexian's where the race that show the good in the living for Zenithians.

Tecna's mother where the 2nd Queen of Apexians and she fell in the war. She was the light, the emotions and love of the eldest Highmind, father of Tecna and her 19 brothers and king of Zenithians. CRYOS.

Tecna was half Zenithian/ Apexian. But became full Zenithian after the war.

Magnethia or by her true Maneia is not Tecna's aunt but her cousin.

She like Tecna was also turn full Zenithian after the "War of the three worlds"

She was the nymph of sea of memories during the war. Now she is the nymph of the fallen ones.

Magnethia was orignally together with a Primon Victorium lady knight. But after the war she was recued by Technoatonio or more known as Technotio back then from the lady knight who tried to kill Magnethia.

Magnethia is the daughter of TRION the youngest of the Hive minds. Her weapon is a Mechanised trident.

The hive minds are. CRYOS: King of glorius Olympia, SAREN: King of silent Titantia and TRION: King of singing Atlantia.

Each of this city was renamed after each of the kings wifes who fell in the war. The Queens of Apexians.

The current Main Ruler of Zenith and Olympia is Chronos who has taken the title Cryos Alpha. He is a fair and strict ruler. The current ruler of Atlantia is Digitiana aka Trion Beta and The ruler of Titania is Micha aka Saren Omega

His advisor is one of his closest friends known as Mechardo or his true name Mechius.

CRYOS, TRION and SAREN are currently holding Zenith from falling apart. They reside in Core of Zenith.

Tecna currently lived with Magnethia and Technotonio in Titania. So she could have a calmm enviroment to regain her powers. So they hide the royal statuses of each members of the hive minds.

The third nymph of zenith is a young 12-year old traumatised girl that erased her own name. She is a executor of titania that wields a giant mechanised axe, She only trust Tecna and sees the winx as enemies.

Tecna know who she is but can't say her name.

98.9 % of Zenithian population dosen't trust organic races. Because they did trust the Omegxians and Primo Victoriumians. And look how that went!

No one in the family liked that Tecna went to Alfea college for Fairies. They thought it was just waste of time. But with help of Magnethia she was allowed to go.

They regret to listen to Magnethia. Because Tecna got unwanted attention when she became apart of the winx.

They especially dosen't like Tecna's friendship circle with winx. They consider the winx girls as nothing more but naive girls with little battle experience. And that they see the world black and white.

And they know about her relationship with Timmy. But that's okay. Because none in the family(even Magnethia and the little girl) sees this as serious relationship. They just see Timmy as Tecna's boy toy she use to escape the past and she soon will throw away.

When Tecnotonio did the "boyfriend approval analysis" on Timmy in season 6 it was not to test. It was just to emberass and make a joke out of him!

Tecna is angry and dosen't care about their opinions. She truly loves Timmy because of how sweet and helpful he is. And the winx girls for brining out of her shell and make her feel like a flesh being.

Her family saw this nothing more but PTSD and teenage rebellion.

What is your favorite series about?

My time to shine lol! Ok let me tell you! We follow a maiden named poppy and she’s been chosen by the gods since birth to fulfill that role in the kingdom so she’s is seen as the holy person bc she survived from the craven and she also has powers she’s an empath so she can feel what everyone else is feeling and also she can heal so she can’t be touched, addressed she can’t even be approached she’s like off limits she’s can only speak with her guards or the high priestess so to protect her the king and queen assigned her a special guard which comes in hawke/casteel but by others he is known as Prince casteel or the dark one he’s from atlantia a different kingdom so for right now he is undercover bc he also wants poppy just to trade her in for exchange of his brother that is captured by the queen of Solis but eventually things change poppy starts experiencing these new feelings with hawke so she starts questioning everything her powers start getting stronger and developing more then her kingdom starts getting attacked by these creatures so she is forced to trust and leave with him and from there and thru out the books she starts learning who she really is then Cas and her starts becoming something more there’s also sexually scenes in the book too also exciting new too 😭 Amazon and the author are teaming up to make a show out of the books! Don’t know when but I’m fucking excited and nervous! I also don’t wanna get out too much just in case anyone wants to read it lol

So this first book i really enjoyed. It was a bit slow but very interesting. I liked poppy in this first book. She was feisty and tough. My heart hurt for her and all she went through. Not to mention Hawke was very hot. I liked his character very much as well. Then what we had of learned of the world was interesting, i definitely wanted to learn more. Overall i really enjoyed it and got through it quickly.

Okay unfortunately i liked this book a lot less. It was very frustrating. I had hoped we would be getting more world building and well we did but not enough to really expanded the world. Instead we got 637 pages of a slow plot, annoying character inner monologue. I started struggling almost half way through the book with poppy's thoughts. I get why they were like that. People have only lied to her throughout her whole life but enough with the flip flopping. not to mention a majority of the book was in one place, with characters talking and talking, then a little bit of action. I was so bored. I finished this book and was so dispointed after i enjoyed the first book. I have decided to dnf this series.

Side note: I did love casteel and kieren. They were great.

I don't think I'll ever stop being annoyed by the fact that so much fanart about From Blood and Ash as well as the subsequent books portrays Poppy as the usual thin, perfect woman that sadly has become the norm in fantasy novels (*cough* ACOTAR *cough*).

There are several text passages where it is clearly stated that Poppy is NOT thin, that she does not have a narrow waist and that she is anything but the stereotype of women in fantasy.

There even ia a post about this issue from Jennifer L. Armentrout, in which she states that Poppy is definitely not considered thin by present standards.

As a woman who is not thin herself, Poppy's character actually is the first high fantasy-character who doesn't make me question myself and my body. She is strong, and she is resilient, and she is brave. She shows that warriors don't have to be thin and muscular, at least not only that. She shows strength despite not being molded after the stereotype. If that is not a form of empowerment, I don't know what is.

And while every single reader is free to imagine worlds and characters the way they want, when people pointedly ignore such important CANON notions which could help a large part of the readership with maybe not comparing themselves to unrealistic stereotypes, it is really disconcerting.

We finally need to sever the connection between emotional strength and physical perfection. The one does not cause or require the other.
