Seb having to tell Max and Max cries so much and tells him he doesn't want to! He clings on so tight with his little claws ans Charles is really distraught too because thsts his first brother!

Seb is so upset sfter and doesn't sleep and then they get the call Max was brought to the hospital, looking disorientated because he was so cold and didn't sleep because the fosters family made him sleep outside...

Sebastian definitely gets angry at the CPS but he does get his precious kitten back!

          Ah--where did he go?

          THERE WERE TOO MANY LAYERS--AND SO MANY KITTENS ! 

          But then... there was a voice.           Did it matter? No.           There were CATS. Cats and kittens EVERYWHERE. Cats to his left--kittens to his right--then a mixed bundle that clamored at his beckoning all at once, encouraged onto his bed and assisted as-needed for the smaller ones.           Given such a luxurious set-up, the felines were drawn by his bait and came to join him with eager ambition. That meant, of course, that nothing and no one else mattered. He’d been smothered by the fluffy-love! Viciously assaulted by squishy-kneady toe-beans and the micro-spears that unsheathed with every squeeze of paws. But he didn’t notice, nor did he mind. 

                               HE WAS TOO BUSY SPRAWLED AMIDST THE FLUFF. 

          -- But eventually, he noticed the strange company and sat up with a flourishing fluster, clearly awe-struck by the kitty affections. 

          “Hmm~? What did you say?”

If I take a break for only a moment, Eris wants to drape herself on top of me. 🐱 I guess she likes me after all. Normally, she lays on my neck and tries to suffocate me while doing big purrs and kneady paws like a suckle beast. She never got over being an abandoned kitten. She still has nightmares sometimes... So she can sit on my legs, even if the 10lbs of her hurts in that position. She's a good cat. 💙 She even was good for her first vet visit (HSUS doesn't count; they just shot + spay!) By "good", I mean she didn't draw blood when she bit anyone. They knocked her out on a ketamine mix pretty quick. 😂 She was a sweetheart when she woke up though! Maybe we should do that more often... Eris has a congenital hip defect on both sides that causes her pain. I suspected it even when she was a baby, but she had to be sedated for her first x-ray last week to confirm. Almost $300 later, she's a bitey baby because of purrsonality and pain. She will get extra pets because I know exactly how she feels. I have a similar hip problem. This is what small business money goes towards: average stuff, like a tiny rescue kitten who's growing into a big girl rescue cat. She's 10 months old now! I just saw your halloween shirt design and thought it looked familiar!

i went through your blog and saw that Kneady Kitten and Blobfrogs are your designs. i bought them at hot topic!

i am wondering, is the quality of the shirt better from your shop? because i’ve washed the shirts just a few times and i can tell the designs are fading already and considering i paid like $20 at ht… i feel ripped off by them lol

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear the shirts are fading already. The HT shirts are printed with standard plastisol screen printing and should hold up for a decently long time if properly cared for. Be sure to invert your shirts and wash them in cold water, not hot! It makes a big difference on print longevity.

The shirts in my shop are always printed on premium tees (Bella Canvas, Next Level, etc.) and I use discharge screen print instead, which is a process that dyes the ink into the fabric rather than printing on top of it. This results in a super soft no-feel print that will never crack or peel and instead softens along with the shirt color over time.

I'm very proud of the quality of shirts I offer directly and I encourage you to give one a try :) I think you'll be pleased!

Aiden: You gotta lose yourself to find your way, I guess.

Ronan: This boy finally figures out who he is and who he wants to be.

Challenge 3: Write a scene based on the last 5 emojis you used

(Idk what my last 5 are (other than the above) but my most used are 💖🦦😊😺😸 so let’s go with that? (don’t judge me, I use the cat emojis when texting about my kitty lol) Anyhoot, a bit of Part 2 that fits into “Once My Kitten, Always My Kitten”)

The second she heard the lock turning, Smokey darted down the hallway. She skidded around the corner just in time for Aiden to slip inside and nudge the door shut behind himself.

Aiden laughed at the sight of her. “Hello sweetheart.”

Smokey meowed and wound herself around Aiden’s ankles.

“Give me two seconds--”

Smokey didn’t have that kind of patience. Instead, she leapt up into his arms, forcing Aiden to drop his bag with a little oof.

“Kneady brat,” he muttered, though he didn’t try and drop her in retaliation. Smokey purred and kneaded at his arm.

“Welcome home,” James greeted as he finally caught up with Smokey.

“Should I feel offended the cat managed to greet me first?” Aiden teased.

“One, the cat has no real world responsibilities,” James replied. He closed the distance between them to kiss Aiden. “And two: Zoomies.”

As Aiden laughed, James kissed him again, then pulled away. “Dinner’s almost ready. How’d it go?”

“Oh my god.” Aiden shifted Smokey in his arms to secure his hold on her as he followed James into the kitchen. “Have you ever heard the phrase “took to it like baby otters to water”?”

“Isn’t the phrase about ducks?” James asked.

“See, on one hand, yes.” Aiden lifted Smokey onto his shoulder, then pushed himself up onto the counter. Once he was seated, Smokey hopped down into his lap and curled up, purring contentedly. “On the other hand, have you seen baby otters being taught to swim?”

“Are you going to show me?”

“Remind me later when I have access to my phone that’s not hindered by a kneady cat.”

Smokey most certainly did not poke Aiden harder than usual with her claws for that comment.

“But the gist of it,” Aiden said, with only a slight whimper, “is that they hate the water. I know,” he added as James snorted in disbelief. “Hence, took to it like baby otters to water: Screaming and hating every second despite being perfectly suited for the conditions.”

“And that was what today was like?”

“Yes.”

things i have learned about the kittens so far:

Artemis is aptly named because she’ll chase any toy you move, especially if it makes a noise

when Freya is sleepy she gets kneady and it’s both adorable and also PAIN BEANS

they wiggle before they pounce in different ways - Artemis a bit more forwards and backwards, Freya more side to side

Artemis is chattier so far. constant chirrups.

Freya is the one who demands the most stroking.
