The two of you began a long chat, detailing what had happened in your lives and having a laugh out two as well.

Kuai was feeling a little bit jealous, he wanted to laugh with you too.

You began to notice this after a little while later. Whenever you passed them, they always seemed to pout and look a bit sad.

“What’s wrong brothers ??”

They remained quiet until Tomas spoke up.

“I’m more skilled than kenshi..”

“I can be funny just like mileena…” kuai mumbled

You were confused to begin with until you piece it all together, soon gently placing your hands on their shoulders.

“I promise you two, you will always be my brothers. You’re not leaving my life anytime soon ok ??”

They eventually nodded, but there was one order of business from them to solidify it.

They wanted snuggles 😤😤

So you happily obliged, bringing them in your arms and holding them close.

Sighing contently, oh how your brothers were goofballs sometimes.

Summary: a date with kuai

Kuai Liang hadn't expected you to show up at the Lin Kuei temple. Well, he wasn't expecting anyone. Very few people knew of his clan's location. When you arrived, he expected you to be a danger. Those that did visit were usually enemies or allies. It wasn't an easy task to get to the temple. When he tried to speak to you. Your words were hard to hear, and you stuttered. Your fingertips were blue, and he realized that you were freezing. He was used to the cold and forgot that the weather wasn't something others could stand to be in. He quickly got you warm clothes and took you to a small room where you could, hopefully, be warmer. The land was constantly cold, and with the Lin Kuei clan having ice powers, it didn't help. He had gathered all the warmest clothes and blankets that he could find to help warm you up. He even brought some warm tea or a hot soup for you to drink. Once, you had warmed up and were able to speak once again. You told him how you managed to wind up here. It was an accident. You weren't intending to travel here. Kuai trusted you and promised that he'd help find your way back home. Unfortunately, it wasn't until many months later that he found you something. During that time, you would both get to know each other better.

Kuai had never thought about being with someone. He had too much going on and was busy with other things. When you came along, he did like you. However, he pushed it aside. You could have been a threat. When he learned that you weren't, he still held his feelings for you. You had to return home, and you probably didn't like him back. When he helped you back to your home. You told him how you had liked him and thanked him for helping you.

He never expected to see you again. This time, you came prepared with the weather of his home. He took the chance to greet you and to ask you out. You gladly accepted it. There weren't many, if any, restaurants near the Lin Kuei temple. So you offered up a restaurant in your town. He agreed, and you stayed at the Lin Kuei temple until you returned home once again. Kuai came with you, dressed in a nice outfit. You were also dressed nicely, but you were bundled up due to the cold weather. You made a quick stop at your house to drop off the extra clothes before heading out.

Kuai followed along with you and held the door open for you. He would have offered to pay, but he wasn't sure if the currency was the same. He offered to walk you home, and you accepted it. You were slightly afraid he would get lost, but he assured you he would be fine. He walked you home, and he kissed your hand before wishing you a good night. You asked him about a second date, and he accepted it. You smiled as you took a step into your home, watching as he walked away. You finally closed the door and began to get ready for bed.
