Reverse 1999 be giving us two feel-good stories ending at a good note event stories for two patches back to back only to hit us with yet another heart-wrenching, gut-twisting tragedy ever known to human kind.

Years being discriminated not only by humans, but also arcanists, Kumar stood in a very awkward position from the get-go, not being accepted by anyone but herself and for years she resented the fact.

Though her vindictive nature materialised with the help of Manus Vindictae (ironic, I know), knowingly invited her brother and her student back to her hometown where she'd enact a plan that will bring destruction to her whole village, I can't help to wonder if she had someone that always by her side, would things actually turned out great for her?

Can't help to think, if only Shamane or Kaalaa Baunaa were to get to her before she could ever contacted Manus Vindictae, would her future be better?

Also, I can't just talk about Kumar without talking about her boss fight's final phase music! It's so calming, yet has a taste of melancholia within!

Where Kumar was casted out from their home when she was 18 years old. Shamane vehemently against his father decision, and then decided to follow her sister when he found out she had left. His father managed to catch him sneaking out and in the struggle of trying to get loose from his father grip, he tripped and hit his head on a rock. Which then lead to him waking up forgetting a part of his life, and him not remembering his sister.

OR his father uses an arcane skill on him to make him forget about her sister.

Imagine Kumar feeling guilty that she left her younger brother behind to their myopic father, going back to her hometown to do her "business" and at the same time to coerce her brother to leave the blasted place together with her.

Imagine her strolling, taking her time to reach the place that had been once called home. The wind was gently carressing her face when she saw the tall sacred fig tree, and the nostalgia hit her before a young teenager roughly bumped into her, making she fell backward on the rough pebbled road.

"Ah! I'm sorry, Miss. Are you hurt?" A voice speak to her, sounding genuinely concerned before a hand appeared in front of her.

"It's okay, I should be aware of my surrounding." She waved away the concern but gratefully took the offered hand.

But it's not when she finally looked up at the person, that the smile crept up on her face. "Shamane?"

Her little brother was not so little anymore. She remembered back then Shamane has always been a frail kid, a little wind could knock him over. But, now he looks so much better (and taller too! How did he grows so tall in such a short amount of time?)

She was so caught up at being happy to meet his brother again that she missed what her brother had said.

"What?" She asked.

Shamane smiled, Kumar couldn't help but reply the gesture.

"I'm sorry, but do I know you, miss?"

And the smile was immediately wiped from her face.

I think Kumar got over his picky food phase. He used to eat only 200g cans of duck for a long time now. The 200g cans are more expensive than the 400g ones, so I was spending a lot more money than usual on catfood.

Offered him some other food I still had left (400g beef, chicken and shrimp) yesterday and he liked it and I also caught him eating some of Clawdias food which was something different. I still have like 20 cans of the poultry, chicken and shrimp type of food he used to eat for half a year, so maybe I can finally use those lol.

#i dont feed him all 400g at once btw just mentioning the can type because #when i got 400g duck he DID NOT eat that and would only eat the food out of the 200g cans #i did a side by side and showed that to a friend who also was like wow wtf he rly only takes the food from the small cans #apparently its something about how the food is cooked in the cans and the bigger cans needing longer cooking and then losing some flavour #cat #cats #kumar #clawdia #i wanted to get 800g cans but im afraid they wont eat that #that would save me the most money #i got lids to reseal them and putting them in the fridge keeps them fresh so i could use a can for like 3-4 days
