Je viens de voir passer un fanart de Byleth et Dedel à 1min27 dans cette vidéo de France Culture (https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=1377800556269036) sur un sujet qui n'a rien à voir en plus. C'est beau.

C'est magnifique, parfait avec le petit logo "France Culture" pour sponsoriser tout ça.

Je suis fière de participer au service public audiovisuel en payant mes impôts!

Pourquoi sur un sujet qui n'a rien à voir, elle était en train de parler de otome games qui tirent la sonnette d'alarme sur, en gros, les relations toxiques qui peuvent se cacher derrière le traditionnel "je trouve mon âme soeur, on se fait des bisous et tout est bien qui fini bien"! - et justement, Dedel et Billy c'est un peu le même bouzin : Billy suit Dedel parce que l'amour rend aveugle (ou complètement débile?) et ça se donne la main et ça fait un soutien de rang S avec une illustration franchement pas tip top...

Mais le couple toxique se révèle !

Dedel refuse d'accepter l'héritage métisse de Billy, (si bien que le jeu doit se plier en quatre pour faire en sorte que Billy perde son héritage maternel de Nabatéen) et l'a poussée à démolir ce qui lui reste de famille, pour que Billy redevienne la personne détachée qu'elle était auparavant, même si elle détestait son surnom et sa réputation de "démon cendré".

Billy qui a suivi son coeur et ses sentiments se retrouve dans une situation complètement pourrie qu'elle avait adoré quitter, et est condamné à n'être qu'un faire-valoir (les ailes de l'hégémonisme Adrestien uwu) pour servir les desseins de Dedel.

Si ça se trouve, c'est exactement ça que voulait dire la personne interviewée par France Culture, qui avait joué à Fleur Vermeille!

Iced Coffee : Do you like reading? If so, what’s your favorite book? I used to hate reading in school. At the time I didn't know it was because I didn't like the style of the authors. Nothing captured me and when I had to read it felt like a chore. But these are the classics! Teachers said. You'll learn so much about the human condition! My mother chimed in. It wasn't until high school where I was unofficially appointed "translator" to assigned Shakespeare plays that my love of reading took off. My favorite book will always be Wuthering Heights. (I know I know I can hear the groaning from some)

How do you come up with titles for your fics/chapters?

I don't usually do chapter titles since that feels like a lot of work. But story titles usually come from a piece of dialogue that I feel is really important to the whole picture I'm trying to paint, or from a relevant poem.

6. what books have you read in the last month?

Alors, je n'ai pas beaucoup lu au mois de mai, j'avais du mal à trouver quelque chose qui me plaisait, mais parmi les derniers que j'ai fini, il y a :

L'héritage de Clara, de Françoise Bourdin : les chroniques d'une famille bourgeoise entre les années 60 et 70, avec quelques secrets inavouables et l'ombre d'une matriarche (Clara), que chacun essaie de rendre fière. Pas le meilleur de Françoise Bourdin, mais j'aime beaucoup les familles qu'elle dépeint.

Haut de gamme, de Candace Bushnell : une plongée dans les méandres de la jet-set américaine clinquante et névrosée du début des années 2000. Rien que pour le dernier tiers du roman, particulièrement fort et cru, ça en valait la peine !

Couleurs de l'incendie, Pierre Lemaitre : j'avais détesté le film, alors on m'a conseillé de lire le roman d'origine pour comparer. Le roman s'en sort bien mieux, grâce au style de Lemaitre, tout en cynisme, mais je continue à trouver certains éléments capillotractés...

Sinon, je suis en train de finir de lire One Night At The Penthouse Suite, de Bianca Mori, et vraiment j'aime beaucoup : l'histoire d'une jeune héritière qui se retrouve à endosser le rôle de son père récemment décédé, à la tête d'un grand groupe industriel. Elle doit alors faire avec les vicissitudes de rivaux et trouver un équilibre avec son compagnon, issu d'un rang social beaucoup plus modeste. Franchement, j'étais très dubitative au début, je m'attendais à de la romance niaise assaisonnée de cul à outrance, mais non, c'est un bon scénario, et j'aime beaucoup les personnages principaux, n'hésitez pas à le lire !

Although since I read the Arsène Lupin books, I like the Lupin/Béchoux one (too bad there's like 3 fics of them on Ao3...) if I'm being egocentric and cite my own characters, I like Lionel/Raphaëlle, Lionel/Urbain and Polidori/Sid (in a fucked-up kind of way)

First ship ever: Mmh. Probably Sakura/Shaolan from Card Captor Sakura. They were so cute!

Last song you heard: Calloway by Zeal and Ardour. May have danced to it all alone in the street at midnight. Maybe.

Favourite childhood book: Aaaah how can I chose. TOO MANY.

Currently reading: The Arsene Lupin series (in case you haven't guessed it, it's been taking over my brain) I still have three/four books left, but I forgot my anthology at work...it's above my locker...I hope it'll still be there when I'll go to work today :c (it belongs to the library!)

I just finished Dungeon Meshi, too. It was really good! Food as a metaphor for a lot of things.

Currently watching: Nothing. I don't watch a lot of series...

Currently consuming: nothing, I have to go to work and don't have time to eat or drink something! (but I have time to answer tag games, I guess)

Current craving: More time to write, to draw and to play the Sherlock Holmes game series!

Série en cours : Gloutons et dragons ! C'est une très bonne série avec un bon humour, des personnages attachants et avec de bons graphiques et animations ! (et fallait y penser de transformer un univers à la D&D en série de cuisine !) Par contre, il ne faut pas avoir faim devant les séries qui mettent la nourriture en valeur vu que même si c'est bizarre, ça a l'air bon ! 😋

Sucré / salé / épicé : même sans aimer manger, bec sucré en force !

Statut relationnel : vive le célibat ! ✌️

Obsession actuelle : ma BD et m'améliorer en dessin avec ! (les bouches sont un enfer à faire correctement --' ) Même si parfois, j'hésite un peu à faire la fin sous forme de texte illustré vu qu'il y a pas mal de dialogue, je finis toujours par me dire "non, on va bien arriver à finir tout ça en BD, courage !"

En attendant d'aller chercher mes sources pour ma prochaine histoire (demain j'espère), j'essaye aussi d'écrire une petite histoire qui me trotte dans la tête depuis un bon moment : pendant une mission, les lions trouvent une pierre de résurrection, capable de ramener une personne physiquement pour une seule journée, ce qui engendre pas mal de tension dans le groupe étant donné que beaucoup d'élèves de Garreg Mach la veule pour différentes raisons, même si le focus serait plus sur Félix étant donné que cette pierre fait remonter ses pensées au sujet de sa mère Félicia (et surtout pas Glenn pour des raisons explicitées dans le texte) et lui rempli la tête d'idées noires.

(Ah, et si tout se déroule comme prévu comme c'est prévu pour le moment, vu qu'on est le mois de l'enlèvement de Flayn, Jéritza a la raclée qu'il mérite et fini à deux doigts de la noyage sans arriver à la livrer mais lui est arrêté.)

Dernière chose que j'ai cherché sur Google : "Catherine fire emblem" pour ma BD vu que sa tenue canon est cool ! (Byleth par contre a un autre habit que le canon !)
