So I saw this note about how the survivor's memories get wiped every now and then to keep them from giving up. After all, if they did remember and knew it was an inescapable game of cat and mouse the survivors are bound to just give up on living- and that's not very entertaining for the entity.

So now just imagine you manage to become romantically involved with the killer of your choice-

You haven't died in a good long while, your memories haven't been wiped yet- you're beginning to give up.

All you have is your lover- and even they seem to be hiding something from you.

After all- they only meet with you during the downtime between matches.

Why haven't you ever seen them outside it?

Then it happens, in your exhausted state, ready to quit fighting and just succumb to death you wake up in a strange place.

a forest that feels all too familiar but you know, you believe, that you have never been there before-

Your killer knows something happened when you're not waiting for them in your typical place.

Slashers With a Sick S/O Pt. 2

For DBD Characters I will be doing an AU where The Entity allows Killers/Survivors to return to their normal realms strictly for supplies. No contact except what's necessary.

Brahms Heelshire & Malcolm

Let’s be honest here Brahms would be able to care for you while you were sick for a while but he would need help for the times he regresses going into little space. It’s not that he doesn’t want to care for you full time he just simply struggles to handle any stressful situation and caring for another person is understandably stressful. Malcolm would need to be called eventually and you know he would drop everything rushing to both you and Brahms.

Malcolm and Brahms would end up both caring for you when they could. Malcolm may need to take some days off from work but he wouldn’t tell you about it till you were better he’d make up some excuse something along the lines of how good timing you had and that he had some days off lined up already. Just anything to stop you from trying to send him away.

Just imagine worried Brahms coming up to you his eyes wide with worry as Malcolm held him back stopping him from jumping into your arms for cuddles or physical reassurance. You are gonna be hearing a lot of “You want to get sick too Brahms?” from Malcolm.

Brahms would be next to you as much as he can not wanting to leave you for a second. If you asked for something though Brahms would be zooming through the halls and walls at full speed seeing your request as a time-sensitive mission that must be completed as quickly as possible.

Just imagine Malcolm on his way up from the kitchen food in hand for both you and Brahms when the man rushed past him scurrying to retrieve whatever you asked for catching Malcolm off guard and leaving him confused. Then a crash sounds plot twist Brahms tripped and now Malcolm has a crying Brahms and a sick Reader to take care of.

Malcolm was focused a tray of food in hand. It was nothing special a simple sandwich and home made-soup Malcolm froze as Brahms rounded the corner. “Brahms? Is everything oka-” Malcolm was ignored however as Brahms zoomed past Malcolm at top speed his cardigan waving in the wind behind him. Malcolm was speechless as he watched Brahms run off disappearing around another corner. Sighing Malcolm decided to ignore whatever the masked man was getting into knowing he wouldn't be away from your side for long.

Before Malcolm could take another step however a loud crash sounded somewhere down the corridor causing him to jump “Bloody hell! Brahms?!”

Brahms sniffled by your side a few butterfly bandages on his forehead keeping a small gash that resided there held together. Malcolm sat at the foot of your bed rubbing the bridge of his nose.

Honestly- outside of the realm of cuddles and screwing Billy would struggle.

He could bring you easy-to-make foods like crackers or premade food or the cans where you simply pop them open from a little tab at the top. Don't expect any warm food though. Cold leftovers? Maybe.

Billy wouldn’t get many chances to care for you though if we're going with the idea that you're staying in the sorority house and since I'm the author here- we are going with that idea. He would try his care would mainly come from simply being there for you he would curl up into you and stay there.

He would be happy in fact that you were sick because it meant you had to stay home with him and he could have you all to himself.

Imagine him making your bed into a little nest for the both of you over time slowly migrating to your room from the attic. Would definitely spend all his time in your room after that only going into the cold attic when someone came into your room. Just imagine this absolute gremlin of a man hissing and scurrying off.

You laid in your bed staring at your ceiling as Billy curled into you the both of you wrapped in an ungodly amount of blankets that did little to help the steadily growing fever you had. Surely one of the girls would barge in your room sooner or later scolding you for the excesses amount of blankets and Billy would scurry off hiding and waiting till they left his eyes squinted in offense. How dare they interrupt [Y/n] time? He would surely think plotting their murder before they left and he returned to you his mood restored and all plotting forgotten to only be reignited later.

Frank |Legion| (Some Susie/Joey)

Aha- as much as I love this man (I may be a Legion main-) he would do the bare minimum. Like- the BARE minimum. You better hope you can take care of yourself otherwise you would most likely need to get Susie or Joey to help you out with anything.

You being sick would obviously affect how you perform in trials so if you asked okay begged Frank would maybe get some things you needed/wanted if he remembered. It’s not that Frank doesn’t care about you it’s more the fact that he doesn’t feel the need to coddle you. I mean- it wasn't like you could truly die or anything.

I could see him allowing you to cuddle next to him if he’s lounging and I could see him letting you stay in Ormond with him and his friends if you weren’t already.

He would take it easier on you in trials though he would never admit it and if you or anyone asked him about it he would definitely become hostile about it. He’s like a bomb, don't light or you will get an explosion.

While Frank would be more apathetic towards your illness Susie and Joey would care and put effort in by checking your temp and all that fun stuff. Susie would make effort and remember what you wanted chanting your list of stuff in her head before trying her hardest to secure the goods in whatever amount of time the Entity has allowed her. Same with Joey he would also make an effort checking in on you every now and then and pretending you didn’t exist in trials as much as the Entity would allow.

The rhythmic sounds of the generator in front of you had never sounded more irritating as you worked your hands deep inside the machine while your nose ran causing you to sniffle. Every other survivor had been avoiding you like the plague (aha get it) not wanting to catch whatever you had managed to fall ill with. Your heart rate picked up and a pool of red light showed from around the corner of the wall you were hidden behind. Too tired you simply pulled your arms from the machine before standing on shaky legs. You were sure you were a pathetic sight.

Looking up you saw the familiar mask of Frank and the corner of your lips dipped downward. You really didn’t want to run today, your lungs felt as if they were stuffed with cotton, and you doubted you would make it far if you tried. Giving up you let yourself slump against the wooden wall next to the generator you were working on waiting for Frank to either leave and ignore you that round of for him to pick you up securing an easy kill and sending you back to Ormond to rest where you would undoubtedly be tended to by Susie and Joey.

Candyman

This man- lemme just tell you if you thought you were just getting a little oh what you're sick? Here's some tap water YOU WERe WrONG his care will be immaculate this man would move literal cosmic galaxies for you waiting on your beck and call every hour of the day. What’s that you sick you say? You will be pampered so much you might just die from sheer heartache for this man. And even if you did no biggie he’d just do some shit and bring you back with him. Your his forever and since your his he will make sure you are taken care of in every sense of the word.

Expect sweet words, like this man will be full-on spitting gentle poetry at you for even the simplest of questions. He will make you feel worshiped and loved and would not be against cuddling you even if you were hacking up a storm.

He would bring you fresh tea for your throat as he takes your temperature asking you how you feel while holding your hands and looking deep into your eyes.

Every word you would say he would memorize taking everything to heart and acting upon even the most ludicrous request. He also wouldn’t shame you and would be more than happy to hold your hair back and comfort you as you threw up.

Despite how horrible you were feeling you couldn’t stop the way your heart throbbed wonderfully as Daniel approached you a warm smile on his handsome face. He was holding a warm mug filled to the brim with freshly made tea. Handing you the drink he slid into bed next to you his good hand holding you close. He placed gentle kisses on you cheek and neck all the while whispering sweet nothings into your ear letting you know how much he loved and valued you. How he would do anything for you and how you were perfect to him.

The buzzing of bees were a comforting sound to you and helped lull you into a blissful sleep as your body worked to fight off the illness overwhelming your body. As you began to drift off Daniel took the mug from your hand letting you rest your head on his chest. His fingers danced through your hair “Sleep well my Honeycomb.”

Dwight Fairfield

This boy will be so nervous like he will pass away from nerves. He’ll be fretting over you constantly “Are you okays?” and “How are you feeling?” will be asked even in trials he’ll be working on a gen with you and timidly look up asking how you are. EVEN if you're the killer. This sweetheart will stop mid-chase at the smallest cough turning to fret over you.

He’ll be like a helicopter parent watching everything you do and making sure you do only things to improve your condition no matter what it is. “What’s that [Y/n] you want me to get you [Insert unhealthy thing]? I think not!”

This nerdy man has an overwhelming need to care for the people around him even if it hurts himself so Dwight is definitely the next one in the Entity’s realm to get sick. He will feel absolutely defeated if you don't improve at all but that would only push him to care for you more.

Imagine Dwight just coming up to you after a visit to get supplies completely decked out with multiple masks and all that with gloves and cleaning gear on the ready. He just stands watch at your side spraying anything and anyone with cleaning chemicals when they get too close or try to speak to you all while he’s yelling “Die germs!”

Needless to say, the killers will actively avoid you to escape Dwights wrath.

Danny was curled up his eyes wide and his breathing ragged as he hid fear pulsing through his veins. The thudding of footsteps could be heard not far away. Covering his mouth to silence his shocked gasp he watched from under a bed as brown shoes collided with the wooden floor of your cabin that he had broken into in search of you. “Come here Danny boy.” Dwight’s voice taunted further terrifying the formidable killer.

“No!” Danny screamed as his ankles were grabbed and he was dragged from his safe haven “Mercy! Please!” his begs were to no avail as he was sprayed down with a concoction of cleaning supplies Dwight had whipped up. “Be gone you germ-covered heathen!!” Dwight yelled pulling another spray bottle filled with cleaner from his crude tool belt filled with cleaning supplies.

You silently watched the situation from your bed while Michael looked through the slits in your closet eyes wide with pure terror. Once Dwight was finished with Danny leaving him dead on the floor he slowly turned making eye contact with The Shape.

“Run. Save yourself.” Danny weakly moaned reaching out for the burly man in your closet.

Evan McMillan |The Trapper|

He would pat you on the head and set you up in a bed and that would be it unless you asked for more help/care.

His overall lack of care isn’t coming from a place where he doesn’t want to care for you or that he’s too busy too he simply never was cared for when he himself was sick so to him what he did was normal. It was what you did for sick people. They could still fend for themself, right?

If you were so sick you couldn’t it would take him a while to realize the extra care you needed one of the other survivors or killer would most likely need to point it out to him even. However, once he realized how you need more care than a simple here’s a bed and some water have fun he’ll feel horrible and be over-attentive. Basically hovering over you at all times and making sure your every need is cared for.

He isn’t as gentle as some of the other slashers/survivors would be but he’s trying truly. This man came from a place where he never really had to care for another person and it shows.

He would feel bad about his lack of experience and would most likely still enlist someone to help him for your sake. Expect constant visits to Herman until you get better. Under Evan’s supervision of course.

Evan sat next to you his hands in his lap as he watched your uneven breathing with furrowed brows. Your face was flushed and your eyes screwn together in discomfort. Reaching out he brushed a few strands of hair from your face. He had never been so worried for you, he knew you were strong and could take care of yourself but here barely being able to breathe you looked so frail. “You’re doing fine Evan. They’ll get better soon I promise.” Herman said sighing as he watched his friend’s internal struggle Evan’s mind whirling with shame and worry. You’ve taken care of him many times before and yet when you needed him he had failed.

Herman Carter |The Doctor|

Aha- have fun.

He will not even hesitate in dragging you to his realm his doctor mode activated. He’ll set you up in a room at the old hospital, aka his room but he wouldn’t admit to it and would sleep in his office, and immediately take your temp and give you a thorough checkup he’d even have records on his findings.

Lots of meds will be sent your way and depending on how sick you really were this man may even get a drip IV involved just to be extra. It'll be like you live full-time in a hospital with a crazy doctor. So hope you are not scared of needles.

He will and I mean WILL no buts about it treat you like a mini-experiment that he is in love with (Nothing too outlandish) especially if you’re the first one in the Entity’s realm to truly get sick. His care would be amazing when he’s not busy working on theories and experimental treatments for you.

Carter will secretly want to prolong your sickness if only so he can get more research done. But hey at least the place will be pretty clean.

Carter sat next to you, the room you were laying in smelling like a hospital pumped full of chemicals. The methodical clicking of a pen was the only thing you could hear aside from the periodical scribbling. “How are you feeling today [Y/n]?” his question had you turning your head to look at him, his headgear removed to allow easier communication. Closing your eyes you replied your voice hoarse as your nose was clogged uncomfortably. “Same as yesterday.” you had mumbled making Herman frown. “Well, seems like it’s time to try something new,” he said throwing the clipboard he held aside before standing and placing a hand on your overheated forehead. A syringe in hand and a worryingly manic smile on his face.

Oh, you’re in for a wild time, trust me. When Frank embarrassed himself in front everyone and you had to rub salt into his wounds, he was quickly brought back to reality from his feral frenzy trip. Dream log

This one was weird.

I was trying to do research on Joseph’s current status in Marvel Comics, since the last I’d seen him, he’d been resurrected by his original creator but brainwashed to believe the exact opposite of what he had believed before, and I wanted to use him in a fanfic. However, as I was doing the research, Marvel came out with a comic about him, which somehow was also a live performance that I was involved in. (My dreams are often very clear on the fact that something is fictional, while at the same time being really really vague on the concept that you don’t live through most fictional media, particularly not comic books... they stay on the page you’re reading, you don’t become part of them.)

Anyway, things got freaky, because Joseph had changed a lot. He looked like... well, maybe like an angel, but not the fluffy, I am a person with wings kind... more like an eldritch abomination in human form. He was glowing slightly, and his skin was translucent, which meant we could see his bones and muscles, and he had no body fat anymore and was really, really angular, almost inhumanly so. He had been freed of his connection to Magneto by not actually being made of protoplasm or having a genome anymore, although he still had magnetic powers and he was still trying to protect mutants, and he was still in the mindset Astra had instilled in him in Magneto: Not A Hero, where he was basically a mutant terrorist. Only, he had these cubes, like ice cubes if ice cubes were made of blue-white plastic and were glowing inside, and also either they were magnetic or Joseph had telekinesis, because he could move them with his powers. Apparently these cubes contained some portion of his new essence, or had the ability to make people into what he was, and he was trying to force them onto mutants to turn them into... whatever the fuck he’d turned into.

But then, in order to prove to him what a terrible idea this was, Rogue swallowed one, and Wolverine and Gambit were holding her up to show her to Joseph while she started glowing from the inside, brightly enough that it washed out her features and made it hard to see her. Joseph, upon seeing what it was doing to Rogue, recognized that he was harming the mutants he was trying to protect, summoned all his cubes back (including the one Rogue ate, right back out of her mouth), and surrendered. The last we saw of him, there was a Christmas tree ball on a large tree in an outdoor park, and inside the ball, we could see Joseph sitting, looking once again like a young Magneto and not like the weird thing he’d been before. Also, he’d gotten a haircut, and at first he was sitting on a bench or bed looking depressed, like he was in a prison, but as I approached the ball, he looked happy.

(This is leaving out all the parts about me standing with his entourage in the climactic confrontation with the X-Men, my claiming I was there because I’d just been trying to protect my kids and the entourage telling me it would be fine because it was just like cosplay, one of my children apparently being a humanized Scootaloo, etc.)

So then I decided I was going to write the fanfic, and it would have David Haller (but the version from the Legion TV show) freeing Joseph (who was supposed to be from the comics) and the two of them would go on a road trip together, trying to escape the shadows of their better-known adult male relatives, called Dave and Joey’s Excellent Adventure. This was supposed to feature David being an annoying little shit on purpose and Joseph being sarcastic in return, like this:

D: So what do you go by nowadays? Joe? Joey?

J: Joseph will be fine.

D: Sure, it’ll be fine, but it’s boring. I’m going to call you Joey.

J: I would really rather you didn’t.

D: What, you actually like being called Joseph? Kind of a pompous twat name there, don’t you think?

J: (deadpan, but being sarcastic) Well, I considered calling myself Josephiroth, but I thought that might be a bit much.

(It’s funny because Joseph actually does look like Sephiroth)

...I halfway want to do this now. It would take a lot of work because I’d have to figure out where Xavier and Magneto are in the Legionverse and why no one seems to remember they exist, and what the fuck the ice cubes are, and is cloning even a tech that makes sense in the Legionverse, and so forth, and then figure out some way of unsubtly conveying to the reader that my Magneto doesn’t look one tiny little bit like Michael Fassbender and therefore Joseph doesn’t either, and why are they even on a road trip, and is Lenny with them? Also, David has to start calling Joseph Josephiroth, just because. I rather like David the annoying little shit, but it’s not quite compliant with his canon characterization, so I’d have to figure out which of his alters it is and do I need to make a new one up.

Hello again! May I request a reader with Legion's Joey getting sandbagged by a fellow survivor? I imagine getting thwacked with a pallet must really hurt (I'm really just a sucker for hurt/comfort fics). As for the motive, I imagine some survivors might be annoyed with a survivor who's in a relationship with a killer. Tyyy 💖

The snow crunched under Joey’s feet. He just couldn’t find a survivor not even one. That was until he heard yelling in the distance. He ran over peeking around the corner to see what was happening.

He saw you and another survivor he didn’t bother to learn the name of. The two of you were having a fight over something. “You know what?! Fuck you!” The survivor suddenly slams the pallet down on your head. He thought the pallet was going to break from the force.

You were on the ground rolling in pain. The throbbing pain in your head was so loud. You almost didn’t hear him yell. “Holy shit!” Joey was at your side in a second flat. The survivor that did this was long gone by now. “How many fingers am I holding.” He puts up three and holds it in front of your face.

“When did you have so many fingers?” You were slurring your words together. Now Joey is in a bit of a panic thinking you had a concussion. He pulled you into his lap holding you close. “I’ll be fine Joey don’t worry.”

“Why did they do that?” He was quiet trying not to disturb you. He watch you rest your head on his chest. “They were yelling at me about us.” Joey got a gut feeling that you may be batter off without him. “It’s not that big of a deal they’re just like that.”

“Maybe we shouldn’t see each other as often. For your sake.” He watch you pull back giving him a look. “Are you crazy? I can take a bump on the head.” You pulled him in for a kiss. It was a bit sloppy due to your lack of coronation. It didn’t stop the butterflies in your stomach.

“I know you’re lying about that. Those things hurt.” Joey laughed lightly pulling you closer. “Well yeah it did but you know what I mean handsome.” The tone of the conversation became light. The both of you held each other enjoying the moment.

Hearing gens go off in the distance you remember where you are. “You should get back to your hunt.” You stand up brushing snow off of your jacket. You got lucky unlike some other survivors and had one on.

“Are you sure your going to be okay?” Joey watched you stumble a bit. “I’m sure I’ll be fine. Don’t worry so much okay.” He sighed giving you a quick peck on the cheek.

“Sorry it’s just your the only thing on my mind.” You push him with a stupid grin on your face. “Stop being cheesy and go do your job.” With a final wave goodbye he goes into a frenzy and runs off.

When he did find the survivor that hurt you. His normal sweet demeanor you see is gone. You noticed that the survivor was more distant and stayed out of your way. You’re going to have to talk to Joey about this.
