hmm I've never really considered this! Gia and Theo probably would, she has bright blue hair and at some point Theo gets pink hair. Also they're married so it makes the most sense hahaha... Dimitri and Oli might too, Dimitri's purple and Oli is blond but the back/underneath of his hair is black.
Oh and I'm just now remembering that Dimitri and Liv definitely do this together. I even drew them, this takes place at a way later part in the story.
It would make a cute non-canon illustration to draw them all doing their hair together though!
This is Dimitri's elderly beagle Fenway!! and also a TERRIBLE doodle of Lennon (very outdated design) with Alyssa's cats from January 2020. (I was a college animation major and trying to gear my art style closer to some cartoony stuff) One of Alyssa's cat's name is Plumbob. I thought for sure we had names for the other two but I can't find it in my notes at all! Eventually Lennon and Alyssa get two more cats together and Lennon names them Monopoly and Xerox. Alyssa's dream pet is a cow and she wants to name it Peanut Butter!!

Welcome to the Shadow of the Eclipse
October 4-31, 2023
Some introductory notes
The “shadow of the eclipse” is a time period lasting from 10 days before the first eclipse, to three days after the final eclipse. It is recommended not to start anything new, or schedule anything important, during these days - as usual I refer everyone to the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince of Wales, as an example.
Of course we live in a place/time which scoffs at letting astrology help with the timing of events - therefore don’t lose hope if something falls unavoidably within the eclipse shadow. Just be prepared.
I wanted to take a more thorough approach to delineation, this time. I hope it’s helpful.
South Node Solar Eclipse
A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon lies close (in the Zodiac) to either the North Lunar Node, or to the South one. It occurred to me to do a little research on whether which Node is involved, makes any difference - and yes, it does.
Astrologers call the South Node “the dragon’s tail” - Steven Forrest calls the South Node, “the dragon’s butt” - because here we are “pooping out” what we don’t need and can’t use. (One person’s poop, however, is another person’s fertilizer.)
Eclipses conjunct the South Lunar Node, like the October 14 one, have an outflowing (outpooping?) of energy. They tend to feature external events which we have to “rise up to.”

Going down that list was a very uncomfortable trip down memory lane for me. When those South Node eclipses affected me, it was generally a harbinger of some difficult “external event” which I had little to no control over - which is not the same thing as saying “it wasn’t my fault.” I brought some of it on myself due to bad decisions. Some karma chickens coming home to roost, in other words. Not all of them were dire, though. One in particular gave me something of a respite from what had been happening in my life - it was conjunct my natal 12th House cusp.
Saros Series “7 South”
This eclipse is part of Saros Series “7 South.” Bernadette Brady writes,
The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear or, on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed. (The Eagle and the Lark)

Whatever Shall We Do?
1) Determine which of your natal houses this eclipse falls in.
2) Determine whether the eclipse makes an aspect to anything in your chart. Use a 1° orb. In my case, the conjunctions, squares, sesquiquads (135°), inconjuncts, and oppositions made the most obvious impacts.
3) If there is a close aspect to a planet, check to see which house(s) that planet rules. One South Node eclipse was conjunct the ruler of my natal 4th House, and I moved three months later.
4) Avoid strenuously negative thoughts. If you put a lot of energy into anticipating that something is going to be horrible and painful and disastrous, well, guess what - that’s exactly what’s going to happen. If you catch yourself falling into a panic, try to refocus the energy into “the best possible outcome.”

This is Daniel!! He is my pride and joy, and drawing him truly makes me feel really happy ^_^
Under cut is a whole lot of information about him!!!
I originally created him in April 2013, but he was a girl named Kristina back then. I feel like I have to acknowledge the mess that was Kris the Cat before I get onto more relevant information: She was THE scene kid, THE evil girlie who wanted to poison everyone. THE one with dark blue wings and awful lot of make-up even though IRL I couldn't dream of putting make-up on ever (Repressed emo kid with "grr tomboy" mentality). She stayed with me for a whole year until 2014 June when I decided... hmm what if I Genderbend Her since I had seen some artists who I liked genderbend their own ocs. So I did. (That artwork I made is lost in the sauce forever, i think i deleted it off the web and then my dads computer got fucked so its gone permanently.) And that design of him kind of stuck with me more for unknown reasons so I made him my main sona.
Here's the timeline of his designs that I made back in 2020:
The reason why his name is Daniel is mostly due to Danny Murillo and Danny Worsnop, the lead singers of the 2 bands I was extremely in love with at the time. Hence my own name too. At the time I was 12, and because me and my bestie (hi Evan!!!!) were playing toys with our ocs on DeviantArt and wanted to make a band, we came up with 3 extra characters (he made Ethan and Aiden, I made Jack) and Danny became the lead singer of Fallen Soldier (epic cringey band name from cringey teens!!! I even made a failgirl logo for them!!) (The name originates from them probably listening to too much Rise Against and 5FDP)
I haven't changed his backstory too much from since we made it up the first time, since there's really no need to. When I say that my best friend is very intertwined in this world, I mean it. We built the world for these furries together and I will cherish it forever :3

Personality: He's very sweet and kind, and enthusiastic about the things he enjoys. He gets attached to people quickly, that also means he can be quite possessive over them, sometimes feeling unnecessarily jealous when his friends don't pay as much attention to him as he'd like. He understands that this is a personal flaw and doesn't act upon it. His social battery drains real fast when he's out in crowded places, and mostly just enjoys spending time alone or in a small circle of friends. He enjoys art and music greatly. He needs a little bit help sometimes understanding social cues and such. She hates the Sun and tries to stay in the shade as much as possible, it makes her overheat. He likes to purr and knead when he's happy... he sometimes forgets to retract his nails so umm yeah. Meow. He likes people watching. He's normal I promise. (lie). He likes taking care of his friends.. he will make them gifts, buy them clothes or treats. He does have a bit of a short temper but he feels guilty about it, and tries to not lash out over stupid things that have no importance.
I mostly draw Danny wearing feminine clothes that can be related to emo/scene/goth/just alt fashion. Aka a lot of black. He does really like velvet and skirts though!!! Unlike me he does actually wear jeans too. :3 he just doesn't like them to be ripped, is all. He almost always keeps his hair down.
He loves the paisley pattern, velvet, corduroy, leather jackets, lacey skirts and shirts, leather shoes... you get the drill. He also always wears the metal bracelet on his right hand and the 2 necklaces around his neck. (just like meee)
Backstory Factoids:
As of right now he lives in California. He grew up in Estonia. He has been best friends with Jack since early childhood. He met Kratis at a local library where the mans was working. He got introduced to Kratis' friends, Ethan and Aiden. They had been planning on starting a band, and since Danny could sing, they just took him and made him the lead singer. Jack joined the band later on after Danny introduced him to the rest of his new friends.
He found Inbawez (weird freak of a pet) when wandering around a nearby forest, Inba took instant liking to him and never left.
Beside being in a band, he goes babysitting every now and then. He is also a freelance illustrator who does cute art commissions on the web.
The "California" they live in is not a representation of the actual USA Cali since I have never been there and we refuse to change their living location. All we know is that Daniel lives in the middle of the forest in a 2 story house with his boyfriend.
pre-danny lore Kristina lived in a hollow tree with her shadow pet Inbawez. She was obsessed with Kratis and due to forgotten circumstances she and Kratis are blood bound. lol

Taurus Jupiter has had us appreciating what we already have, yet we also had the tendency to dig in our heels at the idea that we could change things for the better during stressful situations. logan is a recently turned werewolf, she was bitten 9 months ago and she's very angry about it. part of the reason why she came to fenrir's wood is she knew it had a decent supernatural population and after her first few transformations, she knew she wouldn't be able to hide her lycanthropy from her family for much longer. she didn't want to hurt them, so she chose to just leave without saying anything, hoping they'd eventually forget about her.
she has anger issues, which have been made much worse since she's was bitten. she finds herself getting frustrated a lot easier than she used to and if provoked, she will start a fight with someone. over her course of being in fenrir's wood she's been working towards managing this better, but she still doesn't have a great handle on it.
used to be a part of fight clubs when she lived in the u.s., which were a good outlet for her anger. she was in fight clubs for years so as a result she's very good at hand-to-hand combat. no one in her family knew that she was a part of these groups and she became very good at hiding bruises or injuries she got from them.
she has an adoptive brother who’s younger than her by 8 years and she grew very close to him in her time in foster care, they maintain a close relationship despite her moving across the country. logan is generally a pretty stoic person and her soft side comes out massively when she’s around her brother. she’s fiercely protective of him and will not hesitate to defend him when necessary.

Always judge Saturn retrograde periods by retrogrades of other planets in Saturn's karaka houses relative to the ascendant.
I just wrote another long post about Saturn retrograde's effects for this year for each rising, but I also analysed my own life as per my ascendant for every Saturn retrograde period in the last 5 years, and I wanted to make a quick note with additional conclusions. All the retrograde periods of other planets, while Saturn was already retrograde, related to houses 6, 8, 10 and 12, were the ones when the most physical changes occurred in my life. That is especially powerful if you also have a natal planet in these houses and it ends up aspecting any of the transit retrogrades.
Saturn is the rule maker. All planets going into retrograde in Saturn produced houses during Saturn retrograde will always have an extra energy enforced on them, depending on the ascendant, because these planets begin to work directly in favour of that retrograde Saturn. When that planetary alignment touches your personal planets, it results in significant life events.
For example, I have natal Ketu in the 8th house in Taurus. In 2020, the most active period for Libra Risings resulting in solid material changes was Venus Retrograde in Taurus in May - June 2020, as it was falling in our 8th house that produces for Saturn, during which time Saturn was also retrograde in Libra Rising's 4th house. Right after Venus Retrograde ended, my grandfather passed on after a long battle with cancer. That is because the 8th house was affected by Saturn retrograde in the 4th house related to mother's family legacy (grandfather was from mother's side). I inherited most of his possessions, as Venus rules material items, and transit Venus was conjunct my Ketu directly.
Remember to calculate this based precisely on your ascendant sign. I believe this technique to be particularly significant for Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius risings, as Saturn rules these ascendants.

Introducing the “PYUSD,” Unveiling PayPal’s Journey into Cryptocurrency
On the evening of August 7th, the California-based payment company PayPal announced that it will launch a stablecoin named PayPal USD (PYUSD), making PayPal the first tech giant to issue a stablecoin. This news instantly ignited the entire cryptocurrency industry, as PayPal, with its user base of 430 million, introducing a stablecoin undoubtedly will greatly advance the integration of Web3 with traditional finance and the real world.
Reportedly, the stablecoin PayPal USD (PYUSD) will be issued by Paxos, a company that has previously collaborated with Binance to launch the USD-backed BUSD. In PayPal’s announcement, the official statement reads: “PayPal USD aims to reduce friction in payments in the virtual realm due to lack of experience, facilitate swift value transfer to support friends and family, remittances, or international payments, enabling direct flow to developers and creators, and promoting the continuous expansion of digital assets by the world’s largest brand. While most stablecoins are primarily used within the web3 environment, PayPal USD will be compatible with that ecosystem from day one and will soon be available on Venmo.”
It’s evident that PYUSD will be gradually introduced in the coming weeks, eligible US PayPal customers who purchase PYUSD will be able to transfer PYUSD between PayPal and compatible external wallets, conduct peer-to-peer payments using PYUSD, select PYUSD at checkout, and convert PayPal-supported cryptocurrencies to PayPal USD.
The seemingly abrupt emergence of PYUSD is actually the result of years of strategic planning by PayPal.
As early as 2016, PayPal established a long-term partnership with Coinbase. In 2018, Coinbase enabled US customers to make instant withdrawals through PayPal. Last year, European Coinbase users were able to withdraw funds from their PayPal accounts, with Canadian users following suit.
At the beginning of 2020, insiders reported that following a brief collaboration with the Facebook-led Libra project the previous year, PayPal’s current focus was on expanding its payment expertise. Subsequently, PayPal released job openings to expand its new blockchain research team. PayPal’s Chief Technology Officer, Sri Shivananda, mentioned in an interview that the company wanted to “have its own perspective and understanding of blockchain technology and explore how it can help us create an open digital payment platform that can serve everyone.”
In June 2020, reports emerged that PayPal was planning to directly sell cryptocurrencies to its 325 million users. In October, Charles Cascarilla, Co-Founder and CEO of Paxos, announced that Paxos would support PayPal’s “new service,” allowing US users to directly purchase, hold, and sell crypto assets from their PayPal digital wallets.
In the same year, a research report from Japanese securities firm Mizuho Securities indicated that Bitcoin trading among PayPal users could potentially benefit the company’s stock price and projected a revenue increase of about 20% for the following year. The report raised the company’s stock target price from $270 to $290, while PayPal’s stock price at that time was $218. Meanwhile, Paxos announced securing $142 million in Series C funding from companies including PayPal.
In February 2021, according to investor reports from PayPal, in the fourth quarter of 2020, PayPal added a net of 16 million active accounts and processed a total payment volume of $277 billion. Users who bought cryptocurrencies through the platform logged in twice as often as before their cryptocurrency purchases. This marked the first profitable period for the payment giant since introducing its cryptocurrency buying service at the end of the previous year. PayPal’s transaction revenue increased by approximately 12% in the fourth quarter of 2020 compared to the previous quarter, reaching $5.7 billion.
In March 2021, Reuters reported that PayPal would launch a cryptocurrency settlement service, allowing U.S. consumers to use their held cryptocurrencies to make payments to millions of online merchants worldwide. The following day, PayPal CEO Schulman purchased a pair of cowboy boots using Bitcoin through PayPal and recorded the purchase process, which was shared online. In April, Paxos announced completing a $300 million Series D funding round, with continued investment from PayPal.
In May, according to a report by The Block, PayPal officially considered launching a stablecoin. Insiders indicated that if PayPal were to issue a stablecoin, it would be more inclined to collaborate with third parties and had discussed stablecoin matters with several teams, including the Avalanche team. Prior to this, Bloomberg developer Steve Moser discovered relevant code related to PayPal exploring the creation of its own stablecoin within the PayPal iPhone application.
In April 2022, PayPal’s President and CEO, Schulman, emphasized during the company’s quarterly earnings call that digital wallets would play a critical role in PayPal’s future growth. He stated, “We need to double down on digital wallets. I believe that’s the future of the industry and the core of PayPal.”
On-chain transaction records also confirm the above information: The current total supply of PYUSD is 26.9 million tokens. In November 2022, Paxos minted the first batch of 1.1 million PYUSD on the Ethereum network, followed by several small transfer tests. On February 1, 2023, another 26.4 million PYUSD were minted. On February 23, 25.5 million PYUSD were burned. On August 3, another 24.9 million PYUSD were minted.
In conclusion, despite PayPal’s involvement in the cryptocurrency space over the past few years, the official launch of their stablecoin remains a significant event in the development of cryptocurrencies. Stablecoins, as a convenient gateway to enter the crypto world, are often considered important tools for guiding cryptocurrency users.
Furthermore, the compliance journey of PYUSD seems to highlight the relaxation of regulatory policies in various countries and regions. After Singapore and Hong Kong reaped many benefits from embracing Web3, signs also indicate that the attitude of the U.S. political sphere is shifting towards embracing digital assets in step with the times: BlackRock applying for a Bitcoin ETF, a court ruling that XRP is not a security, and now PayPal issuing the stablecoin PYUSD. Changes in the regulatory environment often determine the fate of an industry.
