When Lieve'tel emerges from the pool, she expects to see the younger clerics she was working with, what she was not expecting was to see Bertrand Bell, a man who just this morning told her he was on his was to Wildemount.

She pauses on the steps, the blood dripping from her hair and robe, "Bertie?"

His face breaks into a huge grin, "Hey, Tel. Long time no see."

She runs forward, her soaked through clothes weighing her down, but she doesn't care in the slightest. She hasn't seen him in months, more than half a year. So she doesn't care that she's covered in blood, she runs straight to him and throws her arms around him.

It seems Bertrand doesn't care either because even though there's blood on her lips and half a dozen student clerics watching, he pulls her into a deep kiss, dipping her a little. To the jeers of the students of course.

"I missed you, Tel," Bertrand whispers against her lips.

Lieve'tel pulls away from him with a smile, squeezing the blood from her hair, "You wait outside, I need to finish her and get cleaned up."

"I'll wait for you," Bertrand kisses the back of her bloody hand. "Always will."

Lieve'tel's eyes follow him fondly as he leaves the room before she takes a deep breath and looks at her students, glad the blood covers the blush on her pale skin.

I know it’s a joke, but it would have been sweet if Keyleth had anything of Vax’ that could somehow count as a reliquary and he could help out the party from beyond the grave in this way.

(Also, like... given that reliquaries of Champions are apparently important to the clerics of the Raven Queen, and given that Vax did not leave a body, I wonder if they ever came knocking (in Zephrah or Whitestone) to... ask... for things.)
