Misses being a big brother

LMAOOO I CAME FOR UR THROAT HAHAAA

ok chill chill he's doing okay

He's just not used to being the youngest in any given group, he used to be the oldest kid in charge of the younger ones and his little sister too

But dont get him wrong! He rlly does love the advantages that come with it,

and when he's feeling down abt not being older u usually cheer him up by reminding him he can be the biggest little shit he wants and every single Link will forgive him once he pulls out his baby seal eyes lmao

Ur the easiest to rope into horse playing/goofing off and he's very happy abt that

The others can be too serious for too long so he appreciates how u and him lighten them up by trying to give each other noogies (he loses most of the time)

As soon as Wind found out the others could play instruments, he immediately demanded they do campfire songs every night lol

(Most of the time one person caves, even just to idly play smth)

Likes inventing weird new games to play that'll convince as many other people to particpate, he used to do it back home too, like finding the prettiest rock on the island, that way his grandma and even adults could play too :)

Needs to sleep beside someone at night, bc he secretly likes it, back on his adventure going to sleep all by himself (unlike living with his grandma/sister) always was a little hard for him

Very hard to wake up in the morning, sleeps in the latest out of all the Links

("I'm a growing boy? Ofc i need my sleep, whats ur excuse??" @ the other Links who sleep in late lol)

Likes to sew! He's still learning, but his grandma used to teach him how so he could help her keep up with his growth spurts/recklessness tearing his clothes up

Idolizes u forever if you embroider, and will watch u like those videos of someone's cat who's fascinated by watching owner craft smth lol (like this ⚫️v⚫️)

Enjoys making stoic people crack their persona and laugh

Also has the wheeziest laugh youve ever heard, it makes u laugh every time, even when he started laughing over a dumb pun

Oh yeah, makes a foul amount of dad jokes for someone whos only like 14 💀

(He once managed to break Time and Legend, which then broke Wars and Twi, and it just continued down the Chain until everyone was crying or on the ground, he wears that shit like a badge and it literally made his confidence go 📈 puffed his chest out and everything lol)

Wild (Breath of the Wild):

U already know everything there is to know abt him??

I dont even have to say it, and it shows when ur around him lol

Like he'll go to do smth stupid like shield surf down death mountain in a unknown Hyrule, and before anyone can even realize thats what he's planning to do you've caught and stopped him and made a compromise to shield surf down some snow bluffs later instead

Or when u know he's gotten new ingredients in some other Link's Hyrule and is going to try and cook with them tonight, so u help him make a regular meal of smth else along with so the boys dont suffer stomaches

Like u can absolutely predict his bullshit all the time, just imagine the most adrenaline junkie thing he could do in that moment with the combination of things around him and you always know what tf he's up to, ur always right lol

Ur the only one who can get him to stop the chaos (besides maybe Time, weirdly enough Sky/Hyrule/Four bc they are the least likely to tell him to stop, so when they do, its usually a very, very bad idea)

Likes hair ornaments, he's got long hair for a reason after all

Likes u to style his hair, and esp if u teach him how to braid or do diff styles <333

He loves that u help cook/at least prep, and u make sure another Link helps too, bc thats a lot of ppl to make food for with little to no help 💀

(Makes u ur fav foods at even the slightest mention of them, like u wont even have to say ur craving Link's already whipped the pan out best housewife fr)

One of the few Links who's adventurous with his clothing, and trying new stuff

Wild was worried abt his Champion tunic getting messed up but was sad he couldn't wear it as much anymore

So u handmade him a new shirt that imitates the old one but with some new designs to represent the Chain! :)

He started crying.

He either hugs so lightly he seems like he's not enjoying it (no true, he's just trying to be polite)

Or he squeezes so hard be pops ur back and nearly breaks a rib

U got the latter for that shirt lol

Any new thing he doesnt remember how to deal with, like how to sew (he knows 1 stitch help), how to wash clothes (dont mix whites and blacks, and colors), how to soothe headaches/muscle aches etc.

He just wanders pitifully over to ur side and looks pitiful lol

Like he's a confused and saddened puppy

And just holds up whatever mess he's made like, "im so sorry, i dont know how to do this pls"

Bc he trusts u to know (the other Links may be hit or miss too tbh lmao)

And ur the least likely to clown him for it too, at least nothing he doesnt also find funny

Sage (Tears of the Kingdom):

So sue me, i enjoy this stupid-definitely-not-canon-unhinged-Link thats done with everyones bullshit and wants to be a hermit

SUEEE MEE ABT ITTTTT✨️

The first time u saw his hair nest and immediately clapped ur hand over u mouth in shock and tried to take a brush to it on sight

He fucking hissed at you.

Feral bitch.

Sage isnt like that all the time, but he was certainly the most distrustful and prickly out of all the Links

(U could smell it was like a defense mechanism from his adventure/past from a mile away, and knew with time that it'd fade away into his true self... like how u just knew Wild that well too)

U are the only person allowed to casually touch him, he shys away from the other Links, let alone strangers,and the first he allowed to help him with his hair

Tbh after u washed it out and got tangles and mats out and cut split ends off etc.

He almost teared up, and was extremely confused why

Def the type to not have realized he felt insecure lowkey abt it until it was fixed (he also was embarrassed to say he didnt rlly know how to take care of it)

Energy of a stray feral cat that leaves dead birds on ur doorstep without fail every morning and u leave a food bowl out in hopes he'll actually be your cat 💀

Extremely protective of you, and eventually the Chain, to the point where he might set someone's hair on fire or use runes on them

Like not enough to seriously injure but enough to scare tf out of ppl and have them running for their lives

(Did he literally growl at someone when they tried to flirt with you?? ... why is Twi encouraging him.)

Was unnerved by Wild at first but slowly got used to him and often butts into whatever private convo u two are having

Like just casually struts up and plops his head on ur shoulder and waits for attention, may complain loudly depending on how grumpy he is that day

(Wild's not getting jealous and constantly hogging u for cooking to get even more time with you what-)

Okay but unfortunately

Once those 2 got comfy with each other, they started tag teaming everyone

Like u can now bet that if an explosion happens in the distance, Sage definitely caused it, and if he's there, then Wild's there making him the explosives

(Same for if Wild's there, then Sage's there)

Def the Link that likes showing the most skin, he "gets overheated easily" - local half naked man justifies his nakedness

Absolutely grievous clowning on the other Links, like its getting into bullyinggg 😭

His words are E rated for Everyone, no ones safe not even you

Sage: "wait, all those rings and nobody's ever put one on you? And you've never put on one someone else??🤔🤔"

The rest of the Chain: 💀😭😶

Time, trying to hide he's choking on laughter so hard he's abt to fall into the firepit

Will occasionally team up with Wild to make a protective little border on either side of you while in towns/new Hyrules

U once offered to sing/hum for him after a nightmare while it was ur turn on watch (he sleeps up trees btw) and after u switched off w/other Link, u both went to edge of camp to sleep next to each other and he had the best sleep of his life like that

Now demands begs u to sing him to sleep every night, wont take "i dont sound that good tho" for an answer

Courage (The Legend of Zelda, 1989 Cartoon TV show):

Yeah... he's here too.

Just dont read this tbh

Enjoys being ✨️special✨️ by being the only hero twink out here with brunette hair

Was insecure abt it being curly/wavy until u slowly built his confidence

Bc he's got the most confidence in his strength, but not in much else tbh 😭

Actually will randomly have moments of responsibility or capability you didnt expect out of him bc he can be so silly and jokey all the time

Youll be lost as hell and he just "hey its ok the stars look like this so we go this way" and it works

Like the type of person u sort of avoid relying on bc he's like a playful jock type and then they randomly show theyre the captain of the team for a reason

Dont ask why, but hes good at knitting, shhhh no, no, no explanation he just secretly is he wont even tell u why or how or when he learned this he just "hehe, wouldnt u like to know princeyyy/princesssss/your majestyyyy"

Hyrule, and rest of Chain standing by, went to talk to one of the Great Fairies in a Hyrule once to try and get some info abt where to camp tonight or where nearest town was and before he could get close enough to ask,

Courage was already yelling like "YOOOO BIGGEST FAIRY WHATS UP?! u mind giving some poor lost fellas like us somewhere to go with ourselves tonight??"

They kept talking super casually and she laughed so hard that she let u guys stay near her that night to camp and be under fairy protection like no fairy boy Link needed 💀

Everyone was shocked, and thats how u all found out Courage is rlly good with fairies/their best friend no matter the Hyrule

Every time u guys learn smth new abt him it feels so unexpected, like out of left field or smth

It just never seems to fit his usual persona, or at least not what youd expect from him

So needless to say the first time u guys learned he could talk to magical objects that were powerful enough (like the fucking triforce)-

(this was apparently so normal he literally lived with a piece of it just in his room all the time????)

Has weird mixture of country boy vs. royal prince sensibilities?

It alarmed several Links. 💀

He can talk to Fi.

(Sky and you nearly cried)

Like he lived in the castle alongside Zelda so he inherited some spoiled/etiquette stuff, but he still would absolutely go splash in mud puddles in the rain

Would literally do fucking anything if it meant youd give him a kiss on the cheek

Likes to hug you a lot too, with his huge ass arms lifting u up (no he does not care how much u weigh ur going UP) and spinning u around

Its his favorite, almost as much as kisses

No but he's slay fucking Majora to get a kiss, like it's actually unbelievable and kinda endearing how excited he gets if u promise him one lmao

Koridai (Link: The Faces of Evil):

Omg not them putting Link's name in the title of the gameee i didnt know that 😭😭

Geezzz,, i dont know what im on

But ig heres that other silly ass Link if anyone feels like reading it

Will also fight any god, including Hylia, for a kiss

Actually astoundingly good at strategizing

Like after a few times in heat of battle him organizing Links, Time and Wars practically jumped him to include him in planning shit

He was similar to Courage to in that he just was cracking jokes all the time u didnt expect it, also he's significantly more sarcastic than Courage

U introduced him to dark humor and the laugh he laughed practically burst out of him, he looked shocked by his own laugh lmao

So he also now has a streak of dark humor he shows when u talk for while/sees someone also enjoys it

Its like his not-so-guilty-pleasure

Really good at baking? He apparently learned a lot of miscellaneous skills to better court someone and he now uses them fully to seduce you,

thru gift giving mostly, its is love language besides acts of service :)

(All Links do some amount of acts of service tho <3)

Rlly good at styling hair surprisingly, and at shield surfing??? What

Actually down to try Wild's experimental dishes...

And by that i mean he pranks the rest of you by sneaking the inedible bits into ur food

U may or may not have nearly choked him out for it and now he doesnt do it to you, and even was trying to act all pitiful abt it like "sorry lovely, but i just wanted to tease u bc ur so cute!! 🥺👉👈"

Like,, stfu u little shit 💀

He has the energy of a male orange cat, dont ask why he just is, and specifically the orange cat getting on top of the fridge or stuck between the the screen door and glasss door comically or smth 😭

Hes also loud as hell

One of the worst at stealth unless he just keeps his mouth shut completely, like his whispering is loud

He proclaims his affections very loudly too, like gettin u flowers and chatting ur ear off with what he likes abt u lol

No, like he can go for 20 minutes or more if u let him, u better stop him before he gets into the personality based compliments

Bc those sound wayyy too personal to be aired out in public ngl, like its so soft and domestic itll kill u lol

And he means every word too 👀

Forever and Always

2nd place raffle prize for @triplecatattack, a 600 word oneshot of Yan!Courage and Guide!reader.

Ever since he was little, he could see you. You grew up alongside one another, ghostly hand wrapped around his. You kept him entertained as he worked, chatting on about whatever met your interest as he did whatever labour his parents gave him. It was not a fun life, but it was enough with you there. He could count that no matter how much he suffered, it would be ok. You’d be there to mend the wounds and ease achy muscles. But as he got older, the more he realised how abnormal your presence was. Sure, he appreciated always having you, but it wasn’t normal. His parents made that clear. He lost count of how many times his father beat him bloody whenever he was caught talking to you, screaming about how you weren’t real. But that couldn’t be true. Not when you cradled his jaw and cleaned the blood from his skin, leaving him totally healed by the next morning. You must’ve been an angel, he thought. Sent from the goddesses just for him. And when he got the mastersword, it was only further proven in his mind that you were meant to stay by his side. You taught him to fight with grace and compassion, how to heal those hurt by monsters and taught him that there was love left in the dead, leathery thing he could call his heart. There were books and myths that told of how you were made just to keep him safe and loved. That you were real. That you were bound to him by your very soul.

It made it harder when you left, your soul ripped from his. He felt the emptiness without you there, without each little whisper. He felt so angry that the word didn’t cut it. He wanted to shake his younger self that thought you were abnormal and wished you’d leave so he wouldn’t get new wounds, tell him to be more grateful for the time that he had with you. He wanted to crack the bones of every person who told him you’d stay, who shipped him off to this fate without warning. He wanted to take Hylia from her throne and leave whatever evil there was to overtake it. He’d smile, knowing whatever fate would meet her, she’d be deserving of it. He would play no hero for her. She did not deserve it. He was never a hero for Hylia’s grace, but for yours and yours alone. He was never mad at you, you were far too good and kind to ever be mistreated. You’d have never left him if you had the choice. Forever and Always, you promised.

And it seemed you made good on your promises. You were here again. Whole and absolutely stunning as the day he lost you. Sure, eight other men in tow, but nothing he couldn’t deal with. No one he couldn’t slaughter. Sure, you lost your memory of him, but nothing he couldn’t remedy. You just needed time. Your soul was made to fit the gap of his own, and surely, you’d understand once you’re together once more. You’d come to terms that those men, not just the heroes, died for good reason. Perhaps he could even get a kiss for such hard work, but he’d never ask anything of his Angel that they’d be uncomfortable with. He was already a sinner, the blood on his blade not any that could be washed off, but he’d never dream of tainting you. His hands that are so violent would find their way around you with the tenderness you taught him to have. His words, so sweet with the kindness you showed him. And he’d treat you with all the love he had in him, no false idol worthy of his worship.

Triforce of Mischief

Summary: Chain sees that you have a particular tattoo and chaos is the only reaction they have, since language barrier is definitely a thing. Time & Twilight freak out. Wind could have spoken sooner.

Following your departure from the Ordon Spring alongside the other boys, you journeyed toward the Ordon Village. Most of their conversation still didn’t make much sense to you, but at least you learnt a few words here and there on the way, especially from the Smith and the Sailor.

The midday weather was brisk, even though the sun shone at its peak. You had a similar attire with your travel companions, a relatively long sleeved tunic that sometimes revealed your wrists if you were to raise your arms. Yours had wider arm-cuts, but felt like they weren’t thick enough for this kind of weather. A slight shiver ran through you, which Link fortunately noticed. He paused and offered you his signature cloak, to which you politely refused multiple times (at least you motioned it somehow). His attempt to offer warmth made the fangirl within you scream in delight, but you kept declining. You blushed slightly and finally accepted even though you knew you weren’t that far from your destination, wrapping yourself in the warmth it provided.

You thanked the Golden Three that you had been on hikes with him on Mt. Lanayru regularly before your involvement with the other Links; otherwise, you did not think you could survive all this hiking. Thinking about having to climb the ladder to the Rancher’s treehouse already made your legs wobble.

Though you could swear that the Ordon Spring waters calmed your nerves and eased your inner storm for a little bit.

Luckily, you were almost there. The wooden arch that said… something in Hylian (probably ORDON?) took your attention. Oh you were so excited…

[And that’s me,] the Rancher spoke as he pointed towards his treehouse. This was really like the game, nestled in a secluded corner near the entrance of the village. You didn’t understand a word he said, but you could see near the tree there was a brown mare simply grazing around.

And what a sight she was. You couldn’t help yourself as you whispered “Epona…?” to yourself and walked towards her as if you were in a trance.

Of course, you didn’t notice the Old Man raising his eyebrow or the Rancher also hearing you. You stopped in your tracks, then watched the Rancher go towards the horse instead, petting it and saying something to it. He made eye contact with you as he was caressing her nose, and motioned you to come over, you guessed.

“May I?” you asked, and even though the language barrier was still present, the Rancher gave a warm, friendly nod. As you approached Epona, her deep, soulful eyes locked onto yours, and it felt as if she understood the reverence in your gaze. With a gentle, careful touch, you began to run your hand along her sleek, chestnut mane, marveling at the silky texture beneath your fingers.

[Epona] he said, as he gave an apple to her. You just smiled, pretending to hear it for the first time and repeated her name.

Epona seemed to appreciate the affection, and she leaned into your touch, her powerful frame radiating warmth and serenity.

As you continued to pet Epona, your sleeves slipped down to your wrists, revealing a set of three small triangles on your skin. The right one was filled in with black. The Rancher and the Old Man both noticed this mark, and although they didn't say anything, they exchanged knowing glances.

When everybody finally settled in Twilight’s cabin, he lit the fireplace. His cabin had an air of rustic charm, filled with a cozy warmth that welcomed all who entered. The walls were made of weathered wood, lending the space a natural, earthy ambiance. The cabin had lanterns that hung from sturdy wooden beams overhead, which you imagined would cast quite the gentle radiance, once lit.

The Chain kept talking between each other, though you didn’t understand much. Wind was all the way up, lost in his world. For some reason, really interested in Rancher's books.

You took off the cape Wild lent you and gave it back to him, since it started getting quite warm inside. You already had another layer under your long sleeved tunic, so you took the upper layer off as well, now sitting with the others (you secured yourself a chair at least) in a short sleeved shirt. Time and Twilight were still casting glances at you.

“What?” you stretched as you pointed the pointless question towards them. Not that it would change anything…You saw that Sky also managed to get a chair, and he was already kind of looking like he was about to doze off. Maybe you should have followed suit…

[Champion, you are sure Y/N does not have anything to do with the Hero’s Spirit or any sages?] Time asked Wild. He seemed quite perplexed by the question.

[Or is she part of the royal family perhaps?] Twilight continued.

[Uh, no? Why?] Wild replied.

You just closed your eyes as you listened to them speak. It felt like listening to an audiobook in a language you didn’t understand, as a sleeping aid. Though you had a strange feeling that they were talking about you.

Legend and Hyrule were definitely listening in, though the former pretended as if he couldn’t care less, even though his ears definitely perked up at the mention of the royal family.

[You mean the mark on her wrist?] Sky chimed in instead, to your surprise. The others seemed surprised that he was way more perceptive than he looked.

[What mark?] Four asked and then Time & Twilight explained the mark they have seen on your wrist.

The volume of the chatter was increasing, slightly annoying you. Wild gently poked your shoulder to see if you were awake, and you opened your eyes. There was no way you could sleep in this noisy environment.

He pointed at your left wrist, gently touching your arm after checking in with you, and motioning you to raise it. The whole room was staring at your Triforce of Courage ink now.

Oh, right…

“Guys, it’s just a tattoo,” you tried to explain to no avail.

It is hard to explain things when people literally don’t understand a word you say.

You could see Time & Twilight & Legend & Warriors and Sky comparing their faded Triforce marks on their hands, and Wild & Four looking confused about the whole thing.

[I mean, I did say I sense some residual magic on her, but that’s definitely not what I was sensing,] Hyrule was saying as he glanced at your tattoo.

[Members of the royal family don’t randomly get the mark of Triforce on their wrists, not unless they are Zelda at least,] Legend scoffed. Wind seemed to be not paying attention, still busy with Twilight's books upstairs for some reason.

[Well this is certainly odd, I never thought much about the mark, though we had other matters to attend to… But… What is Triforce?] Wild kept questioning, though he seemed to have forgotten that he was still touching your shoulder from the side. You sighed. It was fun at first, but now it was getting quite boring that you didn’t understand anything. Though it wasn’t that hard to guess…

[Yeah I was about to ask the same thing… I just thought that’s the symbol of the royal family or something?] Four added, making the rest of the group look at them in disbelief. Sky seemed especially distraught.

The bickering continued for a while, and you kept thinking about how to explain this to them. Weren’t these people familiar with the concept of a tattoo? Of course, why you had something like that was another matter, but excuse you for wanting to get a Zelda-themed tattoo and considering the fact that you might end up in Hyrule?

Hmmm, what if I just show them something similar instead, to try to explain?

You sighed, stood up and walked towards Time and Twilight, while the group's curious glances still loomed over you. Right, these two already had some markings that were like tattoos, so you thought it would at least be a good parallel.

Right after you pointed at your tattoo, you pointed towards the Rancher's face first, specifically to his markings. He had a confused look on his face, which quickly became an expression of horror, which seemed to have spread to some others in the group.

Wait…

[Farore above…]

What in Hylia's name was going on? That sounded grim, along with some others.

Next, you moved to Time, who was already sitting next to him. You mumbled a quick "Sorry…" for invading his personal space as you blushed, hoping he didn't mind. He was as stoic as one could get, you hoped he wouldn't somehow grab your wrist or something.

You also pointed (almost touched, really) to his marks on his face, before you pulled back and pointed towards your tattoo again.

"It's just a tattoo, why do you all look so judgemental suddenly?" You almost screamed in protest. You tried to make the motion of drawing the shape by yourself. Even tried pretending as if you have a nail and a hammer, and as if you are drawing on a skin.

I don't think tattoo pens exist here…

Time's eyes widened. The atmosphere in the room was even worse.

[How…?!] he said in shock.

You realized a little bit too late that it wasn't the smartest decision to point at his Wolf markings and Time's Fierce Deity Mask markings and then to yourself.

Because Twilight and Time kept speaking with each other, with Legend and Hyrule chiming in, the others watching you suddenly with suspicion, with Wild going between you and the others almost in a defensive stance. It was getting heated. Oh Gods…

Meanwhile, the Sailor finally decided to come down with a huge grin on his face, earning even more scornful looks from the others.

Then he started laughing.

Little rascal.

He knew.

He knew yet he did not step in until the last minute, pretending to browse the books and maps up there instead.

You sighed almost in relief as you watched him try to explain things to others. At least, you assumed.

It was quite clear that these were the heroes who held the Triforce of Courage, and not Wisdom.

How could anybody not think of tattoos and just jump to the worst conclusions instead?!

But you were sure, the Sailor was especially deserving of the Triforce of Courage, since he dared to wait until the last moment instead of coming clean right away.

It was only months later you found out what was said, and that there was an agreement to never ever mention the incident again.

"I knew what it was right away," Wind smirked at you, after he explained what happened on that day. "We have a few people in the crew with some sick ink!"

Sure, you understood that there was some residual magic they sensed on you.

But… Was it really your fault that they immediately thought you could both be associated with twilight magic and Fierce Deity at the same time? Come on, even for this universe, it sounded cuccos.

"Having that symbol tattooed is quite a choice though," Four gave you side eyes.

✦ He started to realise who you were one of the times you rewatched his show as a joke, around when he started to feel a large amount of deja vu. With it only getting worse if you decide for whatever reason to rewind part of an episode.

✦ his attachment starts when you react to him during the episodes (whether that's quietly or talking about him during the show) not that it takes all to much for him to get attached if you show him any attention what so ever. You’re watching his show afterall, no one elses. Don’t tell him it’s literally named after zelda.

✦ He falls fast and hard, trying to get your attention any way possible, winking and smiling at you - small things that could be brushed off as glitches with how you’re watching it. Things that can be ignored so you can continue watching, the biggest mistake as he takes it as a sign to get more confident with his actions.

✦ You dare to watch him with anyone else though? He’s pissed beyond belief, you’re his and his alone, how could you get it in your head that you’re allowed to be with anyone else? That’s not how this works don’t you get it?

✦ when you get close to the end of the show he starts to panic, because what’s he supposed do now to get closer to you, it’s not like he could force you to rewatch the show but what if he could get into other shows? When he gets that idea in his head your fate is sealed.

✦ gravity falls would be the worst to watch after this, seeing giffany would give him more ideas, too many ideas. Eventually leading to him wanting to break out as soon as he really can afterwards

✦ he’d be the most unbearably clingy partner, constantly demanding your attention and begging for kisses, you’re his lover, you should be more than willing to give them to him right? If you aren’t he’s got nothing against bribing you for them. He just wants to be loved can’t you see? You’re better than zelda right? right?

MLP G4 LU Chain HCs!!!!

/inspired by @kenvamp 's (check the art out here)and @cheatsylu 's (check over here)

I had.. cutie mark head canons for Pony LU chain and I need to talk about them (these are my own HCs and you guys don't have to agree btw!!!!!!!) So, how and when each pony gets their Cutie Marks: Warriors: same time as his scarf. He was given the scarf and then the cutie mark appeared. He got it a bit later than his peers, but it's a very cool cutie mark. Fitting for a captain.

Time: can i be spicy? i want to be spicy, he got his cutie mark when he was 20. Not when he did OoT, not when he did MM. 7 year nap and woke up hoping for a cutie mark only to see a blank flank. and during MM, Everyone comments on it! like he never gets the mark of adulthood ever! okay not "ever" i want him to get it when he's 20 or sth and his cutie mark sucks,. and even twilight doesnt know what it looks like like he got it during a battle

a battle when he was TWENTY and it looks like the FD

and like, yall know Trouble Shoes who HATES his CM, yea Time loathesssss his

first he wishes he has one and now he wishes he didnt - only person who knows what his CM looks like is his Wife btw

Wind: OHO OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE SPECTRUM- Bro probably helped his sister and taught her how to swim or sth and get his CM at age 4 like by the time he does WW his cutie mark has been there for a While. He is a Big Boy. He deserves it

Four: Would it be funny if he has four different cutie marks and when he's merged they're like, blended together - and his cutie mark gains another shape each time he upgrades the four sword - but like, instead of the four elements for the four sword,.his cutie mark is the forge and it just becomes more detailed and has different colors - like a red fire, blue hammer, green anvil, purple tweezers

Twilight: Yall know Yaks and Cows exist in MLP as like... high sentient beings that also go to school and talk and stuff. What if Ordon Goats. like Twilight's Entire Village. Twilight stuck out like a sore thumb. And he's Very very disappointed that his cm isnt a goat. he got his cm at age 14 when he was helping everyone on the farm, and it's some generic rancher stuff like a hay bale or sth.

Hyrule: is the triforce. id like to imagine that full triforce wielders gets a triforce as a cutie mark. He has a bunch of magic of his sleeves, and if you know anything about MLP G4 naming conventions, magic-adjacent ponies are named after light-emitting things. So, Triforce emits a BUNCHA LIGHT

Legend: Oh my god I imagine he hides his cutie mark because its something very soft (bnuuy) and people wont take him seriously - he got it when he was very very young, before his adventures. But the rabbit cutie mark depicts a rabbit that's shaking an apple tree. (proof of courage. or sth. that's what im aiming for as a symbol of bravery, but I am no writer)

Sky: Got his CM at the same time as Sun!!!!! They have matching cutie marks. His is a sword and a Crimson Loftwing's feather, while hers is a pair of wings, one white (like the goddess, but she didn't know that before the adventure) and one blue like her loftwing.

Wild: He DID have a CM before the clammy, but one of the side effects of the Shrine of Ressurection is that it also erases that pony's cutie mark. he woke up with a blank flank. and my guy fought the clammy and found his own new cm that fits him. honourable mentions: Spirits! He got it when he got on a train for the first time, it. was. magical

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you

Dingus one and Dingus two.

There are some yandere headcanons under the cut, huge shoutout to @gliphyartfan for talking about them with me and big props to @cloudninetonine because their interpretation Courage and Korodai heavily inspired this one(also I’m taking their nicknames) AND almost everything is inspired by their brief yandere headcanons on these two.

As Cloud has stated in their own post, Korodai is actually quite intelligent and clever under his goofy exterior(which he’d have to be in order to finish his own quests considering how little handholding there is).

Because of this, Korodai is quite the skilled manipulator, able to easily play insects like a fiddle and trick them into cornering themselves. He uses his silly exterior to his advantage, getting people to drop their guard and underestimate them.

In contrast, Courage is actually quite the brute, the brawn to Korodai’s brain. He isn’t stupid by any means but his strength is definitely one of his greatest tools. Courage doesn’t possess a large arsenal of items like other heroes, so he makes good use of what he does have.

Courage is so strong that it’s possible for him to tear flesh off bone, and he’s very willing to get his hands dirty after falling off the deep end. When dealing with vermin he’s all too ready to break bones, smash guts, and rip limbs off with his bare hands.

A headcanon Gliph came up with is that Korodai is actually quite religious, though it’s not something commonly shone. He grew up on the outskirts of the kingdom and worked his way up to the eyes of the Royal Family though the church, doing great deeds that eventually deemed him the chosen one.

Both Courage and Korodai are total flirts, but Courage is the one who’s more likely to do small romantic gestures for the one he loves. Things like bringing you flowers or setting up a picnic with a nice view somewhere.

Also something they have in common, both of these forbidden heroes are extremely touch starved. Their respective Zelda’s are complete tsunderes who don’t easily give them affection. So if or when they receive lots of affection from you, they don’t know what to do at first and blue screen. But soon their absolutely spoiled rotten which feeds into their other yandere traits.

Korodai and Courage are both very possessive but show it in different ways. While Courage will try and intimidate or scare off anyone that gets too close, Korodai will silently plot to get them out of the way. Often times Korodai has to hold back Courage just to make sure he doesn’t do anything too rash.

He knew you were meant for him from the start. You had always been such a caring companion, perfect in every way. ・❥・Your especially helpful when it comes to Cia. Your an unaccounted for variable. And she doesn't like that. She can try and get rid of you, but because Wars keeps you so close, it doesn't quite work out.

・❥・This only deludes him further, because if this powerful sorcerer that has a hand in time and space, can't separate you two, nothing can.

The hand around your throat tightened just a bit as his hips crashed against yours. In the back of his head, he worried about hurting you, but he had a mission that needed to be fulfilled.

As a Captain, the mission would override any concern.

He needed to ensure you stayed with him. That no matter what, you stayed by his side. And what was more damning than a baby? A person who would rely on the two of you so heavily that you would never even think of leaving him.

And that's what he needed. He needed you to stay with him. He needed you to remain with him, with your unyielding loyalty and unbending ferocity. You were everything he needed in this life. And the thought of you having his baby? Was something he also needed. Just the thought of having this perfect little nuclear family made his nerves buzz. He would provide and you would stay by his side.

Like a good little bird.

・❥・I can't tell if I hate this guy or love him.

・❥・I just- I think i mostly wanna hit him.

・❥・Now, I don't know a lot about the animated series, but I have too much self respect (/j),

・❥・But he probably meets you through Sprite. She seems like the type to be like 'Look who I met' to attempt to rub it in your face, but it backfires.

・❥・Courage finds himself too enamored with your glorious feathers and effervescent eyes, immediately laying it on thick. He's complimenting your eyes and your smile and the way the light reflects off the apples of your cheeks.

・❥・If you dare even giggle at his honeyed words, he knows he's got you. Hook, line and Sinker. Now, Courage is more of a brawn over brains type of guy, but he's still a link. He knows how and when to go on the down-low.

・❥・And, honestly, who's better suited for you then the hero of Hyrule?

"Come on, Princess. I know you can do better." He knew his smirk was infuriating if your low grumbles were anything to go by. "How can you prove you want my kid if you don't work for it?"

You gave a challenging look, bounces speeding up as you leaned into his space. You gave a low trill, feathers moving in a wave of agitation as you did, teeth bared down at him . It was so cute seeing you act so aggressive. Like you would ever stand a real chance against him. It was almost daunting- how trusting you were of him. How you just believed everything he told you.

How you trusted he would ever let you out of his sight.

How you trusted he would never use whatever means necessary to get what he wants from you.

How you trusted that he wouldn't do anything to keep you tethered to him.

But he would. Because once you were tied to him, once you were his in every way- with a fat ring on your finger and your belly so swollen you couldn't see you feet- you wouldn't be able to escape. There was no where in this kingdom nor the next that he wouldn't be able to find you. Not that it would matter. Once his child was safely growing, you wouldn't be able to move fast enough to get rid of him! You would lose your, aerial advantage, your running and hiding abilities would be greatly hindered, and should push come to shove, he wasn't against using the triforce to keep you right where he wanted you.

Afterall, you wouldn't want the kingdom your child was growing up in to be destroyed...Right?

・❥・For Legend to trust you to this level, you must've met him at the beginning of his first adventure. In fact, you probably saved him when he was still young and inexperienced.

・❥・Thus proclaiming you as his most trusted companion.

・❥・After Koholint, he for sure latched onto you far more than ever before. He couldn't risk you being torn away from him too.

・❥・Because of what happened with Marin, he felt he had lost the ability to love. But you quietly and calmly reassure that he hasn't.

・❥・Thus leads to him just...knowing that you are here to stay. You won't be leaving him anytime soon. You won't ever leave him behind.

・❥・He lost his chance the first time and he absolutely refuses to lose it again.

・❥・Even if it means temporarily overriding your basic autonomy. You'll understand eventually.

<><><><>

He knew his other form sometimes bled over into his hylian one. it was something he learned to live with and, sometimes, battled with depending on his mood and the circumstance.

He was sure this was part of that.

He had heard the saying 'Fucking like rabbits' but this is just a little ridiculous. It wasn't all that unwarranted however. He needed to mark you as his. Brand you and litter you with enough hickeys and bitemarks to have even the most dense boys (Because that's all they were when compared to him) backing off.

Legend had lost too much in too short a time to take any chances. Honestly, it was a miracle that you were still here. Hylia had proven that she liked taking the most precious things in his life away from him (That fraud. Thinking she could outsmart him?! Thinking he would go down without a fight?! She had another fucking thing coming.) and you had held that title for years.

And you would. For at least a few more months. But even then, you would only have to share.

As he hoisted your legs up to your chest, folding you practically in half as he kept his rhythm steady and continuous (over and over again. Until you remembered the shape of him and only him.), he felt his lips twitch. He could see you now, cradling his and yours young. An absolutely precious little kit that would have your eyes, your perfect eyes, and maybe his nose. Who would be brought up with your gentle nature, but his intellect. Who would know no dangers of the outside world as he would destroy it to keep you two safe.

If it kept you two warm, he wouldn't hesitate to burn it all down.

・❥・Yall have been WAITING for this one.

・❥・Now, my broken little rat. He probably meets you up on the Sky islands. You probably help him get down and he just...latches onto you.

・❥・When you stick with him, even down on the ground and into the depths, he slowly learns to trust you.

・❥・If your patient with him and let him move at his own pace? You aren't leaving. He has let too many people leave and let too many people fuck him over.

・❥・He will not let you do the same. In fact, he's thinking of a million and one ways to keep you with him.

・❥・while all of the boys will think a5bout it, Sage is the only one to actually genuinely clipping your wings. You can't leave him if you can't fly, now can you? He's faster than you.

・❥・ Let's say, for the sake of it all, you happen to befall an accident that makes clipping your wings necessary. While he isn't super excited about you being injured in any capacity, he is a little grateful that he didn't have to do it.

・❥・And on the plus side, he gets to be the good guy and nurse you back to health!

・❥・Not flying health (He has no idea why your wings aren't healing like the rest of you), but healthy enough he can enact his own little plan.

"Shit."

His voice quivered as he bent over your own hunched form, keeping your chest pinned to the counter he had deemed acceptable. His one hand remained locked onto your hip while the other snaked up your chest to gently wrap around your throat. There was no pressure behind the action, just enough to keep you right where he wanted you.

Keep you perfectly still while he pumps you so full of cum you'll have no choice but to carry his child. You won't ever be able to leave then. No, you were kind. Too kind for his world. Too nice, too much of a beacon of pure light to ever do that. You would never deprave a child of his father, nor would you deprave a father of his young. And he knew this. If he planned on capitalizing that fact, just a little, that was no one's business but his own.

Just the thought of you carrying a child, a perfect mix of both of you-- just as much yours and they were his-- was almost enough to have him thanking Hylia for you. For putting him through everything if only to gift him with you in the end.

I'm alive and thought of a different subject to write headcannons for. I'm more than happy to hear any feedback, but take my headcannons with a grain of salt. I tried to make it accurate enough so enjoy!

Best to worse hygiene in the Chain:

1. Warriors

2. Calamity

Here is my reasoning for the best to worse hygiene in the Chain:

1. Warriors

• I have to put him at the top cause jojo even stated that he does try and keep up his appearance on their journey. He does seem like the type to try and always seem presentable in any circumstances. So, I'd say he'd be the one to bath the most out of the Chain.

• He's also a knight and I do believe that knights had a different standard for cleanliness than others. (But Warriors takes it to another level)

• He might not have the beauty routines and what not like the modern day, but he's very thorough with cleaning himself.

• He'd take two showers before climbing in a bath. He would have a small hand bag for all his toiletries; soap, shampoo (I don't think Hyrule would have conditioner in any of the era's honestly), some nice smelling oils or something to keep up a fresh smell. Stops in villages/towns usually have him going and restocking everything, potions, armour, weapons and hygiene items.

• He have two particular scents that he prefers and often switches between the two.

• Basically the man's the cleanest a person could get in any Hyrule.

2. Calamity

• Again, knights I believe have a certain standard with hygiene. Him also being Natura/Flora's personal knight would mean he'd have to be more clean and hygienic than other knights.

• He's not scared to get his hands dirty, but I can see Natura/Flora yelling at him to wash his hands because of a little dirt. I can definitely see most of the Zelda's being neat freaks.

• He's got a simple routine thats straight forward. He also doesn't spend too much time in the shower/bath, but that doesn't mean he's not thorough though.

• He also just grabs whatever soap and shampoo he can get his hands on in villages/towns when he notices he's running low.

• He's the type to unconsciously scrub too hard and get rashes because of it.

• He's the one to get Wild and Sage to take bathes with a lot of fighting.

3. Legend

• Legend is sensitive to smell - don't ask why but he does.

• This man is the one to judge everyone else if he catches a whiff of them smelling off. He's not afraid to call them out in their odours and will try and get them to go and bath immediately.

• He does surprisingly keep himself in a routine, he makes sure to shower and then bath (if the circumstances allow it) every second day.

• He likes to do a thorough job with washing in the shower and then taking a long relaxing bath afterwards.

• He takes the second longest with bathing - after Warriors of course - not because he's got a lengthy routine like Wars, but he does have imaginary arguments/debates while he's busy.

• I can see him being picky with the smell of his soap and shampoo. He would take ages in villages/towns/markets just to find something that smells nice to him.

• He also doesn't like sharing his soap or shampoo with anyone, unless he deems it absolutely necessary like getting Wind, Wild and Hyrule to bath.

The scars never truly stopped hurting. The blood would stop, a scab would form, the scar wouldn’t be as tender, but it still hurt to look at. It didn’t matter whether it was from the perspective of a picture or the reflection in the mirror— it didn’t change the mournful cry in your chest that always threatened to bubble out.

Still, you sat with your tunic looped through your forearms while your eyes remained caught on the old wounds. There were days they were easier to ignore. Days it didn’t matter who you were at your worst. But in the days you find yourself reminded that the you of the past lives living within the you of the present, they’re a little harder to leave be. It’s a just little harder to not wrap your arms around yourself in an attempt to console that aching bit of yourself.

At some point, each memory finds its way swimming to the surface all at once. It’s uncanny, how accurately the mind can recreate the sensations of memories and pain it once tried so hard to surpress. All at once you’re reminded how it feels to hold your life in your hands, your nerves suddenly back to raw and frightened. To be left with only your sorrows and the hope to carry through. That primal part of your mind, in its panic, telling you to hide as the door to your inn room opened. It urges you to cover your wounds— lest someone see the most fragile parts of you and decides they are simply too much.

Courage’s hands ached with the heavy bags of equipment and boxes the inn keeper had requested he help with. A day's worth of walking up and down stairs and monotonous lifting meant that he’d gotten quite… grimey. But despite the hard work, even he could admit, the nicer room and sauna were perks worth his work.

Sure, he was no smart man. There weren’t any schools for miles around, and even then he doubted his family would have the money to spend his and his brothers’ education.

But for what he lacked in scholarship, he made up for in strength. Not in the simple manner of labouring like his father— no. He was proven to be far, far beyond that. He could finally fight back.

To the world and its cruelty.

To his father and his drunken swings.

To his brothers and their torment.

To evil as it was.

He counted it as odd— the glassy look of your eyes as you stared at the mirror. But as soon as your trance was disturbed, it was broken. You offered a small, gentle smile to him in your reflection as you fiddled with the towel around your shoulders. You seemed ok, not perfectly content, but nothing that raised alarm bells. Your worries tugged at his nerves, but the last thing he’d ever choose to be towards you is overbearing.

He loved that small upturn of your lips, something so soft that it couldn’t be fabricated (such a detail he learned during his time as a knight, smiling is the mask of any good wealthy person). He had been so out of touch with genuine endearment during his time as a decorated knight, flirting with whichever noblewoman draped herself over his shoulder, that he wouldn’t be all too surprised if he’d fallen head over heels for you right then and there. He’d lived his life in a daze up until the, playing to his strengths within the court. He’d almost forgotten such a sense of genuine attraction.

He’d made it a point after you to not flirt with you— or not in the same manner he did with the noble folk of the court. You deserved far more grace and honour than lewd innuendos and wandering hands. Someone who stirred such a pure sense of hopeless romance in a heart as beaten as his deserved only his best treatment.

He gathered his swimwear and led you down the halls to their hot springs, keeping close watch for any prying eyes or wandering hands that may find you as their target. His most beloved deserved his protection. It didn’t matter if his blade had shattered and his bones had splintered, he’d fight to his dying breath if it meant keeping you safe.

Which is why the sobs from the adjacent row changing rooms were so concerning.

“My love?” He knocked softly on the door, not wishing to escalate the situation if it didn't call for it.

“Are you alright?” The weak hiccups and strained breaths only increased. His brow furrowed as he felt his heart squirm beneath his ribs.

“Dearest, what’s wrong?” There were only a few small shuffles before the lock clicked open. You looked at him through the crack with a level of concern that mirrored ashamed. He feels the way his face softens and he has to try and stop his hand from reaching towards you. Your hands cover your arms as your shoulders curl inward to appear small and shrunken.

“I-“ You choke on the syllable as you force words out, “I look horrible” You shuddered as you exhaled, the sound morphing back into your cries.

He can, at first, only manage to hold you as you cry. If he cannot rid the pain from you immediately, he can at least kiss each tear so they’re welcome. He would not let you believe your emotions are anything but beautiful. Because they are an extension of you and your life. How could anything of you not be beautiful?

When he gives you space he can see the irritation around the scars, scratch marks overlaying the fragile skin. Blood pokes through in a few of the less healed areas, and all at once he gets it. He nods wordlessly, embracing you with his own scarred arms.

“You’re so beautiful” His voice is filled with such awe and splendour you can’t even consider if they’re anything aside from pure candor.

“All of you.” His lips press against the inside of your wrists, right where your veins are visible.

“And you’re so sweet” He speaks into your skin as he works his way toward your elbow. Through his lashes you can see him looking up at you as he snickers at his own joke.

“And My, how I'm so lucky to love you.” He kisses where your scars end before diving back up to capture your lips.

You two aren’t so different, he thinks. You suffer similar demons. But if there’s anything that he can do to ward them off, it’s tell you all the things you make him feel. That life is worth living. That people care about you. That it’s ok to cry. That you’re worthy of love— in all its facets and forms.

If there was any way to describe the way Koridai would present his affections to you, it would be through finery.

Many say that most people choose to interact with the world in a similar manner to the way they wished the world would treat them. He was no such exception.

Sure, while he certainly was held to a standard of respect and dignity, he wasn’t as much a fool as he pretended. He could tell that he was, no matter how much heroics he did, an outsider. Where we saw his livelihood spent protecting them, they saw a jester of sorts.

His service to them was expected.

There were days he wished that he were born into that life. That he could understand their intricacies when interacting and that perhaps, with prestige he could prove himself more than just a performer.

He wished he had such finery as a good and simple life. But, he could not so simply provide that to himself. He had not the money nor the means. The wealthy wanted their entertainment and it wasn’t easy to leave them unsated.

Where he could not provide for himself, however, he provided to you. Full meals, fine jewellery and clothing… his pockets were lined, but he’d empty them for you. The shine in your eyes as you opened a gift from him was far better than any rupee.

It had taken an only slightly embarrassing amount of time to get your ring size discretely and find a jeweller he thought fit for the job.

Even then, there came the incredibly precise matter of picking out a style for both yours and his own engagement ring. The styles had to complement one another without forgoing the practicality of something that would be worn on one’s hands. Not too fragile nor bulky, not overly simplistic nor egregiously bold- You get the deal.

Then, obviously, came the matter of finding a wizard to enchant the ring (because of course it needed enchantments) for which was a task he found to be needlessly difficult. But with careful management and months spent stealing books from the castle’s library, a wizard was found and an inn booked and the travel started.

He didn’t want to leave you in the room while he added the final touches to the rings, but he’d be damned if he didn’t propose to the culmination of his joy at the perfect place. So he left you to ‘get ready’ as he hiked up a comically large mountain towards a tower surrounded by swirling clouds and crackling lightning.

Some six or seven odd hours later, he was back down said mountain and incredibly fortunate to see both the sun and his sun again. He was light on his feet, gliding through the flow of people with an unfamiliar grace. He’d gotten a few odd stares regarding his soaked clothes and dopey grin, but it didn’t matter to him. It didn’t matter so long as it was the same smile you kiss before bed.

Now, it’s not that he was expecting any sense of divine perfection when he opened the door. You already embodied that to him, no matter if you walked the span of the world or fell down a cliff.

But it was concerning to see you crying.

It was more so to see how you tried so hard to cover it up.

His smile was wiped off his face as he moved with the same speed as before to your side. His hands cradled both of your shoulders in an attempt to block out whatever harmed you. But of course, he cannot easily block out what’s already inside.

“Hey hey hey- what’s wrong, pretty?” His voice must’ve been around as fragile as you felt, your head shaking no as you tried to pull back. He retreated slightly, granting you space if that’s what you wanted.

“D- I- Don’t. I’m not-“ You could hardly cough up the words. He reminded himself to breathe, forcing shaky lungs to draw breath.

“Not ok? Tell me what’s wrong lovely, I want to help” There was some crazed fear in the way you looked at him, like you’d been caught in some trap. Foxes and the like in similar situations would knaw their legs off if it meant escaping.

He hopes you know there’s alternative options.

He can save you too, if you’d let him.

“How could you say I'm beautiful when I look like this?” Your voice is hoarse. Instinctively, he goes to grab a glass of water, but he freezes in the motion. He swivelled to look back at you as you shrank away, your hands haphazardly moving to cover patches of cut skin.

“My love-“ He doesn’t quite intend for the way his own voice sounds strangled, but he never intended for you to be in pain. Even if it were from before he could’ve helped you, he could only wish that in the fire you’d know you wouldn’t be condemned to suffer alone. Not so long as he’d be there to hold you as you cried and begged for forgiveness from a sin you didn’t commit. Not if he were there to kiss every inch of skin if it helped with your discomfort.

Not so long as he loved you.

Not so long as he breathed.

Bonus!

The door opened too quickly for you to tug your tunic back on. Much to your relief, you were only met with the eyes of the youngest hero. You flinched slightly in shock before settling back down where you sat.

He haphazardly climbed up onto the bed to sit by your side as you continued to get ready for another long day fighting. Your shoulders only ached familiarly as you tugged on your pack.

“Ready Kiddo?” He replied only with a nod and a grin lacking a few teeth.

It wasn’t until well past noon that you could find a moment to sit down and eat. You savoured the cold breeze as it ruffled the grasses and trees. You did, admittedly, savour it less when it covered the sound of Mask creeping up. Smaller hands seized your tired shoulders in an attempt to tackle you. His ambush was ultimately unsuccessful, warranting him air jail. He crossed his arms in unamusement before turning his attention to the handful of yellow blooms in his right hand.

“And what exactly are those for, mister? Poisoning?” You asked, bemused at his little smirk. He shook his head, extending them out to you.

“For me?” He nodded enthusiastically. “Why thank you, my knight”

“For your injuries.” His tiny voice corrected.

“Injuries?” You looked down to double check that you weren’t, in fact, bleeding.

“Your arms. They’re scarring.” He stared at you blankly. Your arms? Oh. That makes a little more sense now.

“That’s right, I forgot” You treasured the bright smile on his face, a sight that didn’t often greet you.

Twilight:

He grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other and was the sort of person who always helped out. More than that there were several kids in the village that he helped out with so when you come down with something he wastes no time telling you that you need to take it easy and get some rest. He's a blanket and his cloak to keep you warm, if it gets too hot let him know and he'll get a damp cloth, and if you need to throw up let him know so he can hold your hair back.

Twilight stays by your side and monitors your condition as he does small activities to keep the both of you occupied. It's easy to tell he has done this with smaller kids before because the way he handles it is a lot like how a mother would with a young child.

Courage:

Not only is this a mission, it's a personal one. He decides that you shouldn't walk in your weakened state and will try to pick you up bridal style so he can show off how strong he is while helping you all at the same time. Even if it's not that far of a walk he's just trying his best to make sure you know you can rely on him.

He keeps a cup of water by your bed stand and a box of tissues there just in case. He'll bring you food and will read to you if you wish. If you want to walk he'll give you his arm to lean on. Courage isn't afraid of getting sick because he's too busy thinking of all the ways he can be obnoxious in his attempts to flirt with you.

Legend:

“Don’t worry I have something that can help” and then he spends the next hour going through all of his belongings to find what ehs looking for. Ok that's a lie he has a method to his madness and vaguely knows where everything is. He has cures and tinctures that range from mundane, to magical, to just strange. Yeah a flaming sword may not seem like it would help but keeping it close will warm you up won't it?

It’s so strange how he just hands you some strange object and explains in a few offhand sentences that it might be this one semi-magical object he picked up one time but it should do something that will make you feel better. If nothing else, trying to find out exactly what it is is fun and engaging. Like a puzzle but just for your head.

He doesn't really know how to help that well but he’s there if you need him, even if he doesn't know exactly what to do he'll try his best.

Warrior:

He is one of those people who will help but it’s more of by letting you have the day off. He doesn't get sick often, blaming it on his superior training and a healthy diet, but when he does get sick he overreacts so badly. Even if it's just a common cold or a light sniffle it's a huge deal to him. During those times he likes to be alone so he can handle it himself and since it happens so little it's almost like a day off. He can spend it doing whatever he wants as long as it's a light activity that won't make things worse.

Which is to say that when you get sick he just leaves you to it. You know what works best for you and he knows what works best for him. Not that there cant be overlap but he'll get you anything you need and offer you assistance but besides the times he checks up on you if you don't ask him to stay he won't. Mostly just so you can have some time alone for whatever you want.

Four:

He’s not sure what to do but he's happy to help if you need him. I can see him dropping by, finding out you're sick, and spending the day with you; or you're sick and drop by for a visit and he insists that you stay by the forge while he goes to pick some healing herbs that will help. There's snacks at the forge if you get hungry, if you need to nap there's the bedroom upstairs, and a place or two to sit on the floor. It’s not that he doesn't want to help but with Four he doesn't know how to help unless you give him specific requests.

Koridai:

No time to waste he will take this as a chance to prove he is just made of boyfriend material. He is flirting with you and staying close to your side. No matter how much you push him away he just brushes past it and says that he can't leave you alone, not while you're in such a fragile state. Doesn't matter how small the cold is, he has decided that making you swoon isn't just a part time job but something to do at every available option.

Time:

Does Time know how to help? Not exactly; yet that won't stop him from trying! Checking up on you is a given but what he brings you is a little strange? He’ll get you some warm milk because it'll help you sleep and milk is good for your bones. Yeah ok it's not the best for this situation but he's so sweet about it that it helps no matter what he gives you. Just checking up on you and gently shaking you awake so he can hand you a leaf he picked up off the ground.

Hell kneel down by the bed and explain he was searching around the woods for something to help you. So he wound up walking to the deku tree, hanging out there for a bit, and remembering that when was a kid and sick he would spend time in nature, and he brought you back a leaf from his adventure. He checks you temperature and then leaves you to get more rest.

Ravio:

He decides that laughter is the best medicine and will do anything to make you laugh or cheer you up. Telling jokes and stories when he's by your side and making sure you are as comfortable as possible. He'll get you anything you need and the price is what you would expect. Just no kisses, you are sick and he can't afford to catch it. He has a shop to run after all.

When no customers are in the store he'll run by your place and check up on you. Nothing that will take up too much time because he can't shut down his shop or anything. On his lunch break he'll stop by a stall and buy some food for the two of you to share and something sweet to eat to keep your spirits up.

Sky:

I see Sky as the type of hero to overwork himself. Even when he is sick he just assumes it'll go away on its own, and sometimes even pushes himself harder because he doesn't want to fail as a hero. Even if other people see him get sick he will deny how bad it is and underplay it. It's a bad habit but he doesn't expect this from others.

When you get sick it's all hands on deck. He refuses to let you overextend yourself the way he does and will assign you to your room and you can't leave unless it's a short walk. You can't even let him talk you into riding a loftwing because the cold air won't be good for you, cold weather is how you get sick after all.

Which can mean a boring day stuck inside but he makes it as fun as possible. Choosing to skip class or call in sick as well he stays with you so you don't have to stare at a brick wall all day. Rather he plays games with you, reads you books, and will nap with you until you feel better. He even brings you food from the school's cafeteria so that way you can eat in bed.

Hyrule:

Because I know that in a post apocalyptic situation there might be a doctor you can visit but more than likely you're doing this all on your own. Just hunker down so that way you don't get into a fight while in a weakened state and hope it isn't actually serious. Not every cough means you're about to die but who knows at this point it could lead to something worse. So staying put and focusing on getting better is the plan.

Due to Hyrule having healing magic and having done a thing or two before he is in full medic mode and will be acting both as a doctor and a nurse. Providing support and comfort while giving you warm herbal teas that don't taste too good but will help with whatever it is you have. Any symptom is treated to the best of its abilities and he's less worried about the illness and more managing and stopping it from spreading or getting worse. So that means bedrest.

With how dangerous it is being outside he wouldn't want you out there on a normal day and especially not now.

Wild:

He makes you soup. Just soup. He knows it's good for when you get sick so he's making you something rich and creamy like french onion or chicken and dumpling. It’s probably the best soup you will ever have (minus Wind’s grandmother's soup.) Food that's good for the soul is the best support for you right now.

He insists that you have to stay back and not do anything. Take an easy day inside or relax at camp. He'll stay with you or in the general area so you're never truly alone. He wouldn't want you to get caught off guard due to being sick or asleep. He keeps the fire lit at night and keeps you entertained with stories so you don't die of boredom sitting there.

Wind:

His first thought is to get you something to help and it’s worth getting sick over just so you can have some of Grandma’s soup. Not joking, it's delicious and it really does fill you with hope. It’s what he always gets when he's sick so he's glad he gets to share some with you.

If you're able to go outside he encourages it because fresh air is always good for but especially when you're sick. If you can't leave your house he'll have you open up some windows. Throughout the day as he passes by he'll shout at your window to see if you're ok and tell you what he's doing. He’ll make a game out of it by saying you're missing the wildest of things happening all over the island and acting like it must be such torture being trapped inside.

Really he just misses your company. Being sick sure does suck too bad he never gets sick and won't ever wind up like you.

To help you feel better he’ll bring you sticks and things he found outside so that way you can feel like you're still part of the outside world. Its he's way of saying he's worried about you and wants you to get better.

Calamity:

Due to all the pressure around him trying to be the hero Hyrule needs and the war going on he finds this more of a break or vacation than anything else. It is terrible that you came down with a sickness but he gets to spend time with you and not have to worry about anything else besides making sure you're ok. This is a win win.

No one else is around and if someone does come to check up on the two of you they don't stay for long. Which makes it a wonderful time to have some heart to heart talks and for him to let his guard down. It doesn't happen often and it really brings out the side of him that smiles and laughs and isn't always struggling to not crack or break under the pressure.

let’s meet our heroes!

(who we’ll call by their well known names for simple sake)

Wild(Link Azure Rune)[Age: 17]{Civilian nickname: Azul, Cook, Champion or “Champ”, “Cub”/Only Twilight calls him this/}

he’s technically our ‘pink lead’ or ‘mini leader’ of the ‘main’ team. He lived in the suburbs of Hateno with his parents and own younger sister. He befriended Mipha and Daruk when he was little around the age of 4 when his family had visited both Mipha’s and Daruk’s homelands respectively. He later gets to know Flora, Revali, and Urbosa when he was around 12 and sure things were a little rocky with Flora and Revali at the start of things but later they became thick as thieves, and with three more to add to the friend group(they still stay in touch even after he befriends the rest of the “chain”). Fast forward to 17 and he’s now in high school, one that’s he’s just transferring into due to having to move to Central Hyrule City because of his dad’s new job working as a castle guard for the royal family. While he is grateful he technically gets to be in the same class as Flora, Mipha and Revali(they’re helpful too). He pretty much still imitated by pretty much everything else around him. Such as not only the school being way bigger than his former one, not to mention the multiple number of students too. Sheer number is way intimidating than he can ever imagine, luckily he ends up meeting Wind and Tetra by literally bumping into them, they both actually help Wild. He was also pretty much there during the first attack cause it literally happened on the first day of school, just literally after school too(Seriously he was going to meet up with Flora, Mipha and Revali too). So there’s a Lynel wreaking havoc and Wild almost got caught up in one of the attacks if it hadn’t been someone pulling him out of the way, this someone being Warriors, and getting scolded a second later about why Wild was just standing there and it’s dangerous here so he should run. However Wild soon spots a familiar face. Wind and Tetra were both in trouble, and seeing he rather not stand by and do nothing. He rushed straight into the battle with one of the dropped bow with their extra arrows on the ground. Even though Warriors pretty much told him to just freaking run and get out of there. That actually triggered something in Wild as the moment he shot that arrow at the lynel, that arrow was engulfed in a bright glow making it enough to piece and stun the lonely in place, giving Wind and Tetra more than enough time to get out of there(Wind however noticed there was something familiar about the one that saved him and Tetra just now). Wild newly grabbed bow began to transform into something else. A transformation device that lets Wild turn into his hero form, and Wild doesn’t even think twice on whenever or not he should use it or not. The moment he does, Wild has a rush of memories he doesn’t even remember having before(Memories as the Original Wild) and powers he wasn’t even aware he has awakening as well. He uses this new power to actually fight the lynel and actually holding up pretty well(got to quickly rescue Mipha for a quick second), especially having way too much fun snipering lynel with a bunch of arrows, before soon finishing it off with his finisher move. Lynel is defeated and taken down, Wild and Warriors find a spot hidden from the public as Wild got a whole lot of media attention being that “The Hero of Wild has somehow returned to save the day” and “Does this mean the other nine heroes of courage will show up”. Wild is definitely a handful regardless he still has a lot of things to learn to actually adjust to living in Central Hyrule City, especially now having hero duties too(plus being reminded that he needs to keep his identity secret too).

Warriors(Link Leo Griffin)[Age: 24]{Civilian nickname: Captain or “Cap”}

He’s pretty much lived in Central Hyrule City for his whole life(his family too but still) and currently while he’s one of the newer castle guards just recently assigned to watch over one of the royal family members(Legend). He sometimes acts as the ‘main’ group leader, he actually awaken his memories prematurely compared to getting his actual powers upon one day running into Time when he was younger, so he knows the ins and outs of what they are dealing with, he just needs to figure out how to trigger his own powers as well. He awaken his powers when Wild was in trouble while fighting Gohma, and not only that but Time who just happened to be there at the wrong time also got captured too by said monster(Mr Lon Lon cannot exactly transform unless he wants his identity as “Time” to be downright exposed), he didn’t want to be stuck on the side lines as he couldn’t do anything to help Wild or Time(Mask|Sprite). Warriors was going to save those two if it the last thing he’ll do. His powers finally trigger in that moment and he’s finally able to transform to not only get both Wild and Time out of that webbing the two were trapped in before(and Time being able to escape, he however doesn’t transform seeing Warriors have things handle, and not just because he wants to see Warriors in action, nope 😶) but manage to work together with Wild in dealing with Gohma but also got to use his own finisher move on the monster too. Having save Wild and Time, and getting out of there(don’t want to accidentally reveal himself after all). He’s more than happy of having his powers had unlocked, of course regardless he’s just glad the both of them are okay and alright, he even got to hug both of them properly once they were properly hidden from public eye. So, now that he is able to help out more than ever(he didn’t just want to watch from the sidelines and be unable to do anything to help, heck, he even loathed the fact of being unable save the ones he cares for before too). Unfortunately he still has royal guard duties aka he needs to guard a certain someone from the royal family and that someone also seems to really dislike him(or potentially seems to hate his own guts, this luckily gets solved later).

Wind(Link Zephyr Kainalu)[Age: 14]{Civilian nickname: Sailor}

The youngest of the team. Wind lives on one of the close by islands with his grandma and little sister. Though he also stays with his best friend and fellow partner in crime Tetra when staying on the mainland with her, he been staying there a lot more recently cause of the new school he’s attending with her. He awakens to his memories and powers after noticing Wild been acting old, and had also been going straight for this odd little cafe with that guy that follows that “Felicity” guy more. Followed them all the way to a nearby port, gets caught by them both, later gets to see Wild and Warriors literally turn into the two heroes of courage that literally been making a huge buzz at school to fight that huge octo that just appeared(something about that monster felt familiar to Wind but he doesn’t know why), see them doing awesome before the giant tentacle ensnarls the two making it not awesome, spots Linebeck’s boat that has a cannon, uses that cannon to blast the thing to oblivion(Well tries to, also Wind will remember to apologize to Linebeck later if he accidentally wreaks it), oh past memories and powers come back, now he can actually put that octo in its place. Battles the thing with the powers, and than eventually uses his own finisher move on octo monster. So after that fight Wind pretty much collapsed(being caught by Warriors) looking pretty much shocked and yet very much amazed “That was f****king sick and awesome”, well was until he saw Linebeck’s boat uhhh, wreaked(Uh oh, no wonder Wind used his wind waker to quickly get all three of them out of there seconds later). Wind now part of the team! He definitely makes things more exciting by being here, he is more than eager to be with the others again even if not exactly all the chain yet. Random side note he does have an older cousin that is just two years older than him, who Wind noticed been acting slightly off since the start of this whole mess. Wind is not stupid to not notice how his cousin looks at certain things and than gets a headache afterwards(also Wind still curses cause well 🏴‍☠️, doesn’t stop some of the older members giving the sailor a certain look for said cursing).

Legend(Link Felicity Hyrule)[Age: 18]{Civilian nickname: Veteran or “Vet”} and Hyrule(Link Le Fey)[Age: 17]{Civilian nickname: Traveler or “Trav”, or “Fae”}

Both Legend and Hyrule are considered a duo and actually work together as a team pretty well(plus it’s not too uncommon to see the two of them together either). Legend and Hyrule met when they were kids being the ages 7 and 6 respectively. Due to each other’s influence, they were not as quite alone or lonely compared to their time as the First “Legend” and “Hyrule”. Sure Legend is still technically snappy but Hyrule helps reeling in Legend before he goes overboard(plus is the only Legend is willing to be soft around and not be as snappy. There are others, like Ravio Lorule[and Marin] but Hyrule is the first), and Hyrule has the tendency to apologize for things even it isn’t his fault which Legend helps stick up for him(Legend can’t tell you how many times he stuck up for Hyrule since he knows Hyrule can be too nice to say otherwise, especially when Hyrule says it’s fine and leave it be. Legend doesn’t believe that). However the two will always be grateful and thankful for each other’s presence in both of their lives. Plus they’re quite a fearsome pair when they work together. Also Legend has more than once wanted to punch Warriors in the face for the constant following and guarding the older does(Just because Legend’s technically part of the royal family does not mean he needs someone to follow him like a baby duck), Hyrule always stopped him from doing so. They both awakened to their past memories and powers when Legend notices Warriors isn’t as going as following crazy as he normally does, and actually decides to go confront Warriors about it because it isn’t quite like him to be acting this ‘off’ with Hyrule coming along as well just so Legend doesn’t turn it into a shouting match between him and Warriors. Long story short hijinks ensures as not only do Wild and Wind get to see what Warriors does in this life but who he supposed to be technically ‘watching’ over too, they plus Hyrule get to see Legend and Warriors butting heads. A lot(clear deja-vu for our team as the banter was quite familiar too). Later a monster Gleeok(something both Legend and Hyrule clearly feel a good amount of deja-vu around) shows up and Warriors tries to get Legend and Hyrule to leave/run. Legend and Hyrule obviously refuses as what exactly would that mean for the three staying behind. Wild and Wind already rushes in to transform with Warriors warning them a little too late about uhhh, Legend and Hyrule still here. With both now pretty much in shock. Despite that they do manage stay out of the way fighting till, one of the heads from Gleeok tried to crush both Legend and Hyrule, Warriors and Wild get the two out of the way but is instead nearly crushed instead if it weren’t for Wind’s quick thinking by him using the phantom sphere. Either way Legend and Hyrule have to deal with the fact that Warriors and Wild just saved their lives however regardless both of the two now really want to help out, especially when at some point Wild, Warriors, and Wind don’t seem fast enough to keep up with the monster. The duo become more desperate to help upon seeing Gleeok nearly crushing the three heroes, wanting to be fast enough to save and protect them.

Around this moment both Legend and Hyrule’s past memories come flooding back, plus their powers too. They transform into their heroes forms while also suddenly getting a whole lot faster than before as not only does Legend and Hyrule get the three out of the way very quickly, but also managed to make the Gleeok back off with their powers too. So after working Legend and Hyrule into the plan, they all work together to take down the monster and the new duo use their finisher move on the monster together. Taking down the monster, Legend and Hyrule get a now whole chance to process, well everything(I will not deny they did end up hugging each other greatly after this fight). With Legend and Hyrule being part of the team now, it actually makes things easier on Warriors’ guard duty for Legend as with both of them being the heroes of courage, as this technically means Warriors’ is filling his duty of being a guard to Legend and Legend doesn’t need more random guards that aren’t Warriors to follow him(heck even Hyrule if the other was with him) everywhere either. Doesn’t stop Legend and Warriors arguing about it. Also Legend technically lives in a grand lavish mansion now(still has an apple orchard in the back and cause Legend upright refuses to live in the royal castle) cause he’s technically part of Royal Family(Hyrule even technically gets his own room due to constantly visiting Legend too).

Twilight(Link Twil Ordona)[Age: 23]{Civilian Nickname: Rancher or “Ranch hand”}

He’s from the countryside of Ordon. He only recently moved to Central Hyrule City due to a new job opening that allow him to make more money for his adoptive family at home. He actually met up with someone who actually his blood related older cousin(Time) that allowed him to have this job. He awakens his memories and powers after returning from a job errand he ran before and just so happen to already met the rest of ‘main’ team on said return. He actually gotten along with them alright(thought Legend might have been prickly but gives him the benefit of the doubt, especially seeing the others trusting him so much). Anyway, he went looking for them after getting pretty worried about them from a recent attack by a monster with a weird shaped stone face, a shadow beast.(Doesn’t help Twilight feels an uncomfortable familiarity with said monster too). He shouldn’t exactly know where he was going with it getting dark and he can’t see. However he somehow still know where exactly to go, like being guided by instinct(that strange yet beautifully enchanting woman’s advice is ringing through his ears again) so he follows said instinct. He almost seems faster than normal. He finally gets to the others, and sees the five heroes instead however all five were hurt and can barely get up. Clearly struggling to fight this monster, and yet despite that. Something at him screams “HURRY TO THEM, SAVE THEM” and than Twilight’s eyes almost get more wolf like “PROTECT YOUR PACK WOLF!” and without even thinking he runs to get to them as fast he can, and howls getting both the group of five and the large beast’s attention(and in made it stop it’s approach to the heroes). From this his powers and past memories immediately awakened as he ran to them. He also immediately transformed into his hero form and not a second later that, he immediately shoved into his wolf form and managed to knock back the shadow beast away from the heroes. Plus is the only one to easily navigate through the darkness as well, he has “walked” through it before. With giving the heroes a fighting chance and Twilight shifting back to his hero form to use his own finisher move on the beast. He nearly collapsed once the adrenaline wore off after seeing the beast was completely vanquished. However It was only after this battle and sees that the others were safe.

He realized something, and after soon leaving the group of five heroes behind(greatly startling them by doing this) , he immediately goes to look for the woman he recognized as “Midna” from his past life. However, she was no where to be found. As if she was never there at all. The others later catch up to him, they all get a proper conversation(Wild already bear hugging Twilight at this point) and lead Twilight back to their home base(while making sure normal folk don’t spot them). They didn’t realize the one Twilight was looking for watching off from far off with a small smile of her own. Random detail though, He still calls his family in Ordon when he gets the chance to as even though he isn’t there in person with them. That doesn’t mean he can’t stay in contact with them. Especially telling them how he himself is doing. Twilight can also tell how eager his adoptive younger brother is to not only getting to see him(especially the rare chance of Twilight coming back to Ordon for a visit), but also it slowly seems more and more likely that the little guy would want to visit too.

Time(Link Kokiri Lon Lon)[Age:*Looks physically around 30 ish but uhh age is debatable for this guy as well, he won’t exactly bother to say nor tell said age*]{Civilian Nickname: “Old man” or “Mr Lon Lon” or “Mask”/“Sprite”Only Warriors calls him this/}

He’s not part of the ‘main’ team and instead served as the mentor to our little group. He is considered to be one of the “legendary cures” and is technically the first of to awaken to his past life memories and activate his powers at literally the age of 16(be glad it was not 9 or that would have been a whole different mess) as he unlocked them saving his girlfriend(Later wife) Malon(who also later get her past memories after the night she and Link got married). He’s more been help protect the city from the shadows and has been able to stay under the radar for quite a long time before he went more official when, well , lynel but before he can get there to transform to save Warriors and quickly deal with the situation, boom Wild, and the rest of the ‘main’ team following suit. Time does get his own chance to shine, not telling you how exactly(*COUGH*Mask festival*COUGH*)

Sky(Link Caelus Loftwing)[Age: 21]{Civilian Nickname: Caelus or “Cal”}

He is also not exactly part of the ‘main’ team and also a mentor for them despite his age. He also considered to be one of the “legendary cures”. Like Time there still moments or events either he or Time or both do jump in to help out the ‘main team’ whenever he can. His small time cafe “The Chain” that he runs with Sun(his girlfriend of at least 5 years, were childhood friends long before that), is actually where the base of operations or “Home Base” for the heroes(what better cover for our team of heroes than to be at the cafe working part time as waiters that just so happens to be very popular with customers). That aside he can technically summon his past life Loftwing partner “Crimson”. Luckily for Sky, Crimson really good at hiding from people that shouldn’t exactly know he exists.

Four(Link Serenity Smith)[Age: 16]{Civilian Nickname: Smith or “Smithy”}

Four here, is considered as our “Sixth” ranger. He actually doesn’t join the team for sometime as originally he’s a very unique case. Unlike the others, his past memories and powers as the original ‘Four’ were separated from his current self due to a very unique case, that unlike what happened with the rest of the original chain. Four’s “self” was still around as a Sword Spirit(who managed to look more human compared to other sword spirits) in the Four Sword(More will or might be explained in separate post). So cause of that Four had a normal ish life(Sure he felt things that were strangely familiar, his thoughts felt like they want to go four different ways. Not to mention the recent “Heroes of Courage” that showed up recently and people began to talk about them left and right, so despite that), it’s all good, not like he has anything to do with the weirdness(No the occasional headaches at weird times that are totally not connected with each other don’t count). Well, that was until he actually finds out who the “Heroes of Courage” were by mere accident after watching his younger cousin transform into “Wind” thus figuring out who the rest were(Four is definitely inner freaking out, this whole time his younger cousin and those odd group of guys said cousin been with. Had been the heroes of courage the whole time. Give him a few minutes), he soon begins to help with behind the scenes as he isn’t capable of taking part of the fighting himself as how can he possibly help out on the frontlines again? Didn’t stop from Four also becoming a part of the group as well too(aka friend too). He only began to truly help out with the battles by awakening to his past memories and powers. This relates to the fact his best friend “Mira”(or Shadow) being forced to work for the villains(More details will be explored on a separate post) and Four was protecting Wind at the time. Four’s defiance in refusing to give into fear or despair allowed Shadow to find the courage to take a leap of faith and throw Four the four sword back after having to steal it in the first place, which allowed Four’s past memories and powers to be awaken. Shadow got pulled under the curse that was inflicted on him because of the betrayal he just did, and Four refused to let “Mira” suffer for something that was never his fault. He immediately transforms and easily falls into his new(old) battle instincts very quickly as he manages to not only be on par with Shadow and the monster that was also there but give the others enough time to recover too, during this battle he did manage to chip off a piece of the control on Shadow however he was taken away before Four could actually set Shadow free from whatever control it was. Four is pretty much devastated(tired too) having lost his best friend to the villains. However he has the others there with him for support, and thus the last of the “Nine Heroes of Courages” are finally back together at last. Four was already part of the group by than so it’s more official now(he did get the very awkward experience of how his own memories are supposed to fit together, at least he wasn’t bedridden like a certain past split of his in his previous life). Side note, he apparently can summon a large bird like creature(Another loftwing like Sky) named “Zeffa” so. Now Four has a pet bird he’ll have to pretty much take care of and not let anyone else(that’s not the chain plus Malon and Sun as well as anyone else that already in on that little “secret”) know he has said huge bird, especially his dad(which is already awkward enough as it is. Four doesn’t need to add fuel to that fire by his dad accidentally seeing Zeffa somehow).
