Live Streaming of the Premier Event

As I posted before, a Yu Yu Hakusho Event featuring the cast and screening of the first episode will take place in Tokyo, on the Evening of December 13. Fortunately, for those who didn't win tickets, they will be broadcasting it live on YouTube, X, and TikTok. It starts at 18h30 (JST).

Nobuyuki Sakuma and Suzu Yamanouchi will be live broadcasting the entire event on the eve of the global distribution!

Starting at 19:00 (JST) on Thursday, December 14, a Watch Party to watch all 5 episodes at once will be held on X.

Special photos of the cast taken by Maciej Kucia (AVGVST) will be released on December 14.

The main cast of the live-action will be on the special edition cover of the famous anan magazine. There's going to be a 16-page special feature about the live action, including exclusive photos and interviews with the cast and staff.

In solo interviews and roundtable discussions with the four main cast members, they were asked about their thoughts and feelings when they were chosen to appear in the series, behind-the-scenes stories of shooting, and their thoughts to take on the challenge of a work that has been loved for many years.

In addition to the four guys, anan also interviewed Go Ayano and Kenichi Takito, who play the Toguro Brothers, the biggest enemies who have many fans from the original work. They talk about the difficulties and joys of playing characters that required highly difficult acting as they filmed using CG.

In an interview with director Sho Tsukikawa , he was asked about his thoughts on producing "Yu Yu Hakusho" in this era.

Here's a sneak peek of the guys during the magazine cover shot.

It's so cute when they all start chanting: "Yu Yu Hakusho". At the end, Kanata Hongo says Hiei's famous line: do not underestimate the power of the evil eye.

Yusuke Vs Younger Toguro Mural Showdown

I am curious to see that. From what we've seen from the trailer, Yusuke VS Toguro will be an epic confrontation!

Edit: The mural is at the Shibuya Crossing. They used blue lights to simulate Yusuke's spirit gun, and on the other side there's Toguro taking it!

I am super curious. From this image, we can understand that all the ad-trucks that departed from Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka and Hakata will be arriving in Shibuya on the 14th, but what will happen? Some kind of big announcement? 😱

What the fuck is going on - an illustrated summary

So, you started watching Kinnporche the series a.k.a horny gay mafia thai show and you go into the tags to see some nice gifsets, some people screaming into the void etc, but then you enter the tags expecting to see the mentioned above and instead find people losing their minds, 58 injuries reported and 1938 found dead and wonder what in the flying fuck????

So, I give you KINNPORSCHE WORLD TOUR

BOC, a.k.a Be on Cloud, the company behind the production of the tv series announced a world tour that the cast would be performing in and everybody went whaaaaaaa????

And on top of that they announced something called Cumulus and people doubled down on the ???? feelings. Some throwing up crying screaming went on, we saw some clues here and there and finally we discovered Cumulus was some type of band that would perform in the mentioned world tour, made up of some actors that can sing, play instruments and so on. Okay, so it's going to be like a concert???? many wondered, but they started announcing who would be there and it was like the whole cast???? People that cannot sing or play any instruments, so what...?

Anyway, this happened mostly while the show was still airing so we were mostly losing our minds over it and rattling our cage's bars like ferocious little hedgehogs, blissfully unaware of what was about to happen. The show ended, tears were cried, missing them hours happened, amazing metas came out everyday deserving some type of award and the actors and BOC went on a little hiatus to prepare for the first date of the would tour to take place: July 25th in Bangkok. So we came back to our GIRLIES THERE'S GOING TO BE A WORLD TOUR era. Before the hiatus, various actors gave us some clues that not only singing was gonna go down but other performances as well, but as the show ended and everyone was kinda depressed everything was mostly a-okay until today, the first performance day. Some people bought the live stream tickets to watch it from outside Thailand (also inside thank u BOC) thinking they would see a comic con-style interview with the actors and some musical performances but absolutely nothing prepared us for what happened, not even the unhinged pictures and teaser trailers we got beforehand.

So let's go on an illustrated showcase:

We did have our little boy band Cumulus performing, if that's what you're wondering

We also had role play/cosplay hours

(sailor moon courtesy of inside jokes in Perth's - Ken in the show - lives and Apo going as Mile's favorite character from an old c-drama, as Mile is there indulging and living his best life)

We had also fanfic canon compliant and alternative universe scenes coming to life before our very own eyes

And mostly people being naked, stripping, performing whatever they felt like performing and having a blast

They also threw up screamed cried like us peasants but I reached the pics per post limit. Anyway, this world tour is actually international and they announced more Asia dates and there are Europe and the Americas' dates to be announced, so you newcomers are gonna see the tags on fire for the next few months and hopefully more chaotic unhinged energy emanating from our beloved cast!

what book are you currently reading?

I finally got around to reading Dune! It's going really sloooow since I have been working and trying to write my thesis at the same time, but so far so good! (The 1st movie def didn't do justice to some things oops) 

what’s your favorite movie you saw in theaters this year?

I haven't really been to the cinema this year. Objectively, I would say it was Banshees of Inisherin (which I saw with Iva ofc hehe). In terms of the experience of live screening it def was The Rocky Horror Picture Show! It was so fun, I loved people singing and making comments to the plot, epic

what do you usually wear?

Most days of the year you'll see me in mom jeans and a shirt tucked in them or a sweater over them for colder periods of the year. Recently I bought high-waisted wide-leg black jeans and I AM IN LOVE. For shoes I prefer the vans sneakers and dr. martens boots.

Honest answer is that I think I'm average at everything lmao. I guess I'm good at planning, organizing and respecting deadlines. I'm bad at maths and quick thinking haha

I always say both, but if I'm put in a spot and have to choose, I'll say cats. I feel like kitties are just closer to my personality and I like their dynamic.

I have been writing some rather emo poetry since highschool (I'm okay), so earlier in April, I wrote a little poem I liked:

Recently, I got back into writing fanfiction bc of watching KP, here's my fave line from my fic (ofc titled after MCR) The world is ugly, but you're beautiful to me:

Kinn sits up and studies the night in Bangkok. The bright yellow lights of the buildings are reflected in the darkness of the river. The Theerapanakul headquarters are amongst the brightest shining buildings, shaping the skyline of the city.  Sometimes the building feels like his home, swarming with memories of his brothers and him playing, of his mother reading them stories and preparing them for bed. Growing up made it feel like a prison in which he exists, simply fulfilling his destiny.

what is something that you’d like to create content for?

Before I got into KP brainrot, I really wanted to write for Beyond Evil, but never got to it. But now, I do have a pretty well-developed idea for a BE fic! Everything is on hold until I finish my thesis tho

I'm not, however, I'd still say I'm somewhat spiritual. I grew up catholic, but I realized it's just not for me. Since it's hard for me to believe there's nothing at all, so the closest to what I'd label myself as is agnostic.

❣️ Moonlight Chicken - one of my most anticipated shows over the past year and admittedly the first 2 episodes had me a bit unsure about the pacing and the characters as it was so divergent, which changed rapidly with episode 3 though and by episode 4 I was hooked lol. The storytelling approach is unconventional and so many nuances about the characters and their lives feel so real that it hits home hard lol and the realism + minimalism is a very nice change of scenery coming from gmmtv. The cast is superb to say the least and also the ppl behind the scenes deserve tons of praise because it’s obvious that it takes a good amount of life experience as well as in directing and writing to narrate these stories in the distinct way that they do and I applaud everyone who’s part of it because you can tell they put their heart and soul into this production. 9/10.

👎🏻 609 Bedtime Story - this is a bummer because I was really excited for this one, also since it’s from the eclipse director, and it had a very promising start but then it got real weird. Like why make it so complicated? there’s no need for that. We get the idea and what you’re trying to tell us. So why make the plot so tangled? sigh. On the other hand I really liked Ohm in this role and it might be his best one yet. He was finally able to showcase that he is capable of more than just 1 facial expression lmao so I liked him as Mum but unfortunately he wasn’t able to save the plot. what a shame. 6/10.

❗️ Jam & Film, the mains of the BL To Sir, With Love, will be starring in a new series together under OneD. Further details have yet to be announced.

❗️ The main actors for the upcoming BL Pit Babe were announced. The main roles will be played by Pon Thanapon & Benz Natthapong. Others include Pavel Phoom, Nut Supanut, Michael Kiettisak and more.

❗️ The upcoming BL My Universe will consist of 12 stories with 12 couples and 24 chapters.

KPTS World Tour thoughts

I saw a lot of spoilers for Day 1 so I knew what to expect in terms of performance from the cast. When the show opened and the full effects of the stage were shown, my initial thoughts were that they looked like idols. I was expecting Apo to shout, "Hello, Impact arena!" and then they start to sing (I am so used to this opening for idol concerts, lol).

Mile uttering Kinn's iconic line was a good opening for the show.

I adore their hair, makeup and styling for the opening. They were all sparkly. Special mention to Tong who had gemstones on his platinum blonde hair.

I think everyone had an input on what they want to do on the concert. Hence, we got segments that were either expected/unexpected/hoped for.

Favorite segments would have to be Pete's escape (it is difficult to maintain emotions with fans screaming so kudos to Bible and Build for pulling it off without breaking character), Big's farewell to his one-sided love for Kinn, Porsche getting his dream bar (it had a dream-like quality to it because Kinn and Porsche were softer somehow. Plus the end was more Mile and Apo than Kinn and Porsche), and the Zhan Zhao-Sun Wukong (which not only fulfilled Mile's most-talked about Apo anecdote but the fans' wish to see the two do something related to this)

The thank yous showed the journey. I got interested in this show partly because of its history and its cast who went through a lot to complete it.

The last part with Cumulus and DJ Ta was just them having fun on stage.

For the live stream audience, I love the introduction of 3D effects (the lanterns at Hum Bar looked awesome).

The live subtitling, as expected had delays though I wondered if they didn't have advanced translations to scripted parts. Can't vouch for the accuracy but I think that translation errors are also bound to happen since the translator had a shorter time processing the words. I do hope that if they do release a concert DVD, the subs will be fixed. And for the other stops, they use the smaller LED screens for subtitles.

Overall, it was a good show.

Also, if I were Be on Cloud, I would do a final concert in Bangkok after the world tour. As a sort of farewell to the show and to take it to full circle.
