(Thank you for sending such an interesting request! I ended up liking this scenario so much that I wrote out a few characters for it!)

Descendant of the Lady Bone Demon: Part One

Maybe they should’ve seen this coming. Maybe there were a few warning signs they didn’t pick up on. Looking back on it now, it’s pretty obvious, isn’t it? All those little things should’ve added up a long time ago.

The way the room grew silent and tense when you walked in, no matter how how exuberant it had been prior. How you manage to sneak up on everyone without even trying, as though you had no presence. The wide berth that strangers give you, even though they can’t explain why. That last one had been particularly strange for your friends. They hadn’t understood why people would treat you so coldly, not back then.

They understand now.

Mei Dragon thinks of you as one of her best friends, right alongside MK. Even in childhood were the two of you close, your company providing a brief break from her parents expectations and the crushing weight of living up to her family name. She grows up to think of you as a sibling, really. She’s a ride or die, rise to the challenge, thrill junkie sort of girl. And above all else, she’s fiercely loyal to her friends.

So Mei doesn’t believe a word that LBD has to say. She doesn’t care about destiny, about fate, about these so-called “invisible strings that guide us all through life”.

She lives her life as she pleases, doing what makes her and her friends happy! And she’s not gonna listen to a word that some wannabe world-destroyer has to say about it!

Until the Lady Bone Demon mentions you.

“Y/N bears my very own blood, thin though it has grown. In time, they will follow the very same path I have, to cleanse this world of pain and suffering.”

Now she’s listening. Her control over the Samadhi Fire slips, scorching a ring of death into the earth around her. The heat alone wilts the any flora that was spared outright combustion. “How…” The fire flickers, fizzles.

And then promptly reignites, blazing hotter than ever before. Immediately, the Lady Bone Demon cringes away from Mei’s sweltering power as oppressive heat waves bear down on her. She can only watch in fear and awe as the Samadhi Fire grows hotter and brighter, fueled by rage.

“How DARE you say that about my friend! Y/N would never do anything like that!” A blazing arc of black and red fire slices into the blue crystal formations created by the demon, melting them into sizzling puddles. Her anger builds with each lash of multicolored fire, reducing each and every spiked crystal around her to a mess of glowing goo.

That anger doesn’t fade even after the fight is over, not even after she gets to see the Lady Bone Demon shred apart and drift away. It’s cathartic to watch, but doesn’t make her any less angry about what she heard.

No, that anger only fades once she has you in her arms, hugging you as tightly to herself as possible. You don’t know about your lineage. No one else does either. Just Mei. Which leaves her with the worst dilemma of her life.

Does she tell you? Does she tell anyone?

She doesn’t want to be like Sun Wukong, hiding important information from even the people who would be affected by it the most. She was a victim of that, and it had hurt. She doesn’t want to hurt you. That’s the last thing she wants. But she also doesn’t want to cast any doubt on you, doesn’t want anyone to think you might end up a destructive foe that would one day need to be struck down.

The fear of losing you somehow outweighs the fear of you being angry at her for withholding information from you.

So she keeps quiet.

Mei rationalizes her silence on the matter by telling herself that she’ll tell you later. Yes, everything will work out, she’s sure of it! She’ll just… wait. Just a little bit. When everything calms down and everyone starts to move on from this disaster, she’ll speak up. Once everyone is in a better, happier mood, they’ll definitely be more receptive to the bad news, right? So she isn’t doing anything wrong. She isn’t acting like the Monkey King. She’s… just keeping you safe.

And she really hopes you won’t hate her for it.

Tang has long pondered your place in this little group. It’s not that he doesn’t like having you here, nothing of the sort! Really, he sees you as family, the same way he sees everyone else in this ragtag group of misfits.

But you stick out like a sore thumb. Everyone else has a direct tie to the original pilgrims who once undertook a legendary journey to retrieve sacred texts.

Tang Sanzang for Tang. Zhu Baije for Pigsy. Sha Wujing for Sandy. Ao Lie for Mei. Sun Wukong for MK. Everyone had someone who their skills, appearance, or even personality harkened back to.

Everyone except for you. Tang had made several guesses before, wondering if there was someone you yourself were standing in the place of. But no one truly seems to fit. Rather than distancing himself from you over this disparity, he makes an effort to grow closer. “It must be lonely”, he reasons to himself, “being the odd man out.” He’s struggled with his own insecurities of being useless or weak, so he can relate to you on a personal level. After making that connection between the two of you, he starts to look out for you, trying to help guide you as you grow.

Tang probably sees himself as your father figure, just the way he sees himself as MK’s.

But, since you don’t have the support system that MK has, he tries to take a more involved role in your life. He’ll sit down with you to chat about any troubles or struggles you have, offering you a kind ear and a welcoming shoulder. And if you ever are struggling with something so bad that it breaks you down and leaves you in tears, he happily takes you into his arms and stays with you through the meltdown. If you fall asleep in his embrace after wearing yourself out, he enjoys it all the more.

He cherishes moments like that, actually.

Sure, he’s sympathetic to your feelings of loneliness and isolation. It’s true that he wants you to be happy. Sometimes he hates the world for hurting you the way it has.

But he loves that you trust him enough to break down in front of him, that you trust him to console and protect you in your weakest moments.

Even at a moment like this, where one of the greatest threats to humanity is bearing down on the two of you. For once, he doesn’t hide or cower. Not when your life is on the life. His golden shield encapsulates both of you, a fierce glare painting his face as he holds you close. You breath raggedly against his shoulder, barely able to support yourself. You had been wounded in the fight, nearly passing out after taking several blows for him and the others. Now, he holds you close, standing tall as you lean on him for support. He watches as the Lady Bone Demon throws attack after attack at the two of you, each blast of crystal and bone shattering and fading against his aureate shield.

The ancient demon glares down at him, a sneer curling her face. “You would fight your destiny? The great monk, Tang Sanzang-”

“I don’t care! Even if I am his reincarnation or his descendant… the choices I make are mine and mine alone! And I will always choose to protect my friends!”

“Even Y/N? Even the very one who bears my blood within them? Are you truly willing to risk saving them now, that they might follow my ways later?”

All the little pieces click into place for him. The mystery he had pondered the most was finally solved, and now he had to live with learning the answer.

“That- that doesn’t matter! Y/N is a person all their own, who will make their own decisions! And I trust them to stay by our side and fight for good! I won’t let you corrupt them!”

And he doesn’t. His resplendent barrier holds fast, shining brightly until all that is left of the demon has been scattered to the wind. He holds you gently, mustering the strength to carry you on his when everyone makes the trip back to Pigsy’s noodle shop. Someone like Sandy or Wukong would definitely better suited to the physical labor he was performing, but Tang couldn’t bear to separate himself from you yet.

Nor is he willing to let go once everyone has taken a seat. He props you up against himself, rubbing your back to keep you awake. “The kids eat first,” Pigsy says, carrying three hearty bowls of noodles. MK, then Mei, then you. Once all of you have your noodles, the chef goes back to the kitchen to start on another batch. Tang holds the bowl and the chopsticks, lifting the noodles to your mouth. Occasionally, he tips the bowl to your mouth so you can sip at the nourishing broth. On any other day, he would’ve swiped a few bites for himself while feeding you. Now, you’re all he can think of. He feeds you bite by bite, then guides you to lay your head in his lap once you’ve finished.

“Hey, Tang.” Pigsy peers down at him, another bowl of noodles in his hands. He passes it to Tang. “What was that demon lady saying to ya anyways?”

Tang looks down at you, watching your chest rise and fall, looking more at peace than ever before. He can’t tell you. Not here. Not now. Maybe not ever. But he and Pigsy can both keep secrets, and more than that, you’ll have two targets to split your anger between, keeping Tang from catching the brunt of it if you ever do find out. So he asks:

“Do you think you can keep a secret, Pigsy?”

Red Son

He doesn’t know why he likes you. By all means, you’re just another peasant, another mortal working at the same noodle store that his arch-rival is. But there’s something different about you. Maybe it’s the way you never seem to flinch or cringe or even cower. Maybe it’s the cool head you keep. Maybe it’s the wide-eyed awe you stare at his creations with.

Even after you had been kidnapped.

“I thinks that it was very clever of you,” you softly admit, not fighting against your bonds. “The way you used the tri-toothed 1x2 plates. I don’t see many people use those.”

He shouldn’t be happy to hear you say that. He should scoff and huff and strike down your praise like it’s meaningless drivel. But it’s not. Not to him. He’s been waiting to hear something like that for a long time, actually. Now, if it only it had been from the mouth of his father…

He shakes himself from those thoughts. “Not that a PEASANT like you could ever comprehend just how truly clever my work is! In fact, the legs of this machine are held in place by a truly unique-” “Technic angular wheel,” you finish for him. “It was a smart choice. I bet finding one that could evenly bear the weight of four legs at once wasn’t easy.”

No… no, it hadn’t been. In fact, it had been very hard to source that component. But here you were… acknowledging him. Praising him. Giving weight to his accomplishments by recognizing them. Somewhere deep inside, he’s a little touched to have his efforts commended.

Not that your kindness inspires him to release you. The only thing that frees you is MK and Mei coming in and storming through, knocking him over the head and escaping with you in their clutch.

Still, he doesn’t… hate you, at least. Or maybe, he just hates you less now. It’s a surprisingly good start.

A start that you continue to build off of throughout your repeated interactions, to his surprise. Your praise wasn’t just a one-time thing, wasn’t a way to get him to drop his guard. It had been genuine, entirely sincere. You had truly thought of him as clever, and you still do.

His schemes become less destructive, but more frequent. MK starts sending you out to deal with him, and most of your “skirmishes” end without any true damage. The two of you talk tech, and then he “tactically retreats” from the fight. Eventually, he drops the act, just swinging by the noodle store to talk with you about mechs or vehicles or rare components and where to find them at reasonable prices.

It’s a strange sight for everyone, the two of you amicably chatting. Sometimes someone will try to butt in, usually MK, who tries to keep up with your conversations to no avail. Other times it’ll be Pigsy, making sure that one of his employees isn’t being threatened or endangered. If one of his new mechs has a Journey to the West inspiration, Tang will happily chime in on it.

But most often, it’s only the two of you, happily talking as equals. Not enemies. Not rivals. Just… actual friends, somehow.

Even if it meant fighting to defend them, these are the sorts of moments he doesn’t want to lose. He wants to protect these cherished hours he spends with you, sharing noodles and blueprints in the middle of a crowded but welcoming restaurant.

Even if it meant fighting a foe he had no chance of defeating. All he has to do is buy a little bit of time. Just enough for MK and his ragtag team of idiots and peasants to smash this osseous demon into pieces. He glares up at her, his hair and hands exploding into flame. It’s a mere display, a small threat to keep her occupied. If she focuses on him, then she can’t hurt you.

Not that she’s trying.

“Foolish child. Do you really think I can’t understand the game that you’re trying to play? You would stand in the way of a peaceful world, all in the name of protecting the heir of your enemy?”

He falls to the ground, clutching his head in pain as she taps into his mind to deliver her next words.

“But a meager resistance cannot hope to undo destiny. I will find Y/N, and add their power to my own. That is their destiny, and I will see it fulfilled.”

“You- you won’t! I wont allow it, you… you PEASANT! You can’t hope to beat all of us! The Demon Bull Family, Sun Wukong and his successor, and the Six-Eared Macaque! All of us will stand against you! If we stand together, there is no threat that can overcome us!”

It’s a little funny, almost. Once, he would’ve scoffed and mocked another for saying such a thing. They sound silly on his tongue, cheesy and overblown. It’s something more suited to MK and his band of goons, speeches of friendship and overcoming adversities together. But it’s true.

And her defeat is testament to the strength that loves brings.

He thinks he loves you. You’re what he imagines having a little sibling is like. He wonders if you could love yourself, if you knew the truth of your heritage. Maybe you could. Maybe you’d fall apart and refuse to trust yourself ever again.

He chats idly with MK as you rest your head on his lap. It brings a strange peace to his heart. You look almost happy, in spite of the bruises and cuts. You look happy, which is proof that you didn’t hear a word that the Lady Bone Demon said about your blood ties.

He doesn’t want to rob you of that happiness so quickly, not when you fought and bled for it.

He absentmindedly strokes your head, thinking of how he’d roast anyone who might try to harm so much as a single hair on it. He can’t let anyone hurt you. Not even himself.

So he keeps quiet, and prays that all will turn out well.

Sun Wukong

Wukong was probably was sleeping when you ran off. He realises you aren't in the room and sits up frantically before looking all over for you.

Once he finds you, he is distraught you are covered in bruises.

He doesn't understand why you are smiling you are so clearly hurt!

He locks you in the house, thinking someone hurt you.

He becomes worse.

Macaque

Is distraught, worried sick, about to destroy the whole world just to find you.

And once you are bad with bruises and cuts?

End of the world for him.

He does slowly learn and accept it just how you let go of unused energy.

But he still is worried when he sees you come back everytime.

Red Son

Well, you are now always wearing a tracker?

Red is happy about this but he will let you go off as long as you have a tracker on.

He always bandages you up after you washes you, then wraps you in a soft blanket.

"Could you at least not go bruising yourself?" "But that's half the fun!" "...You are lucky I love you so much-"

Be warned, if you ever come back with a large cut, he will lock you in the basement.

Mei

HA. HAHA. HAHAHAHAHA.

Yeah no. No. It's not- It's not happening.

Mei has literally has you locked in one room in her house. It's not happening.

If you end up with bruises on you your walls will be soft and multi-coloured.

It's never happening.

Nezha

Well, Nezha will be breaking your legs for this.

You'll learn not to run.

Nezha doesn't approve, to say the least.

The only upside is that they will take care of you during your recovery.

I just made a yandere shadowpeach/Peachbuds time travel au…

So… in this world Mei Hou Wang 2009 in this au is what sun wukong and macaque was like in the past when they were kids.

I am going to make a story on this at some point but for now, I’ll just give you the summary of the au.

MK is given a box with a letter by Guanyin, the goddess of mercy and is told to deliver said box to Sun Wukong

Mk goes over to ffm and gives Wukong the box and leaves because he has to deliver food to people

Sun Wukong read the letter and it says something like “Remember this?” Or something idk

He opens the box to see the outfit that Liu’er Mihou wears in Mei Hou Wang 2009

Sun Wukong get’s flashback about Mei Hou Wang 2009 and the time he killed his bff and is eaten away by guilt

Wukong takes the outfit,that guanyin put a spell on, out of the box to get a better look at it, but when he does he is sent back in time

Wukong wakes up in his rock egg and hears Liu’er getting chased by the Demon King of Confusion or whatever his name is

Just like in Mei Hou Wang 2009, he saves Liu’er by getting out of his egg

Wukong realises that he is in the past and takes it as a sign to not mess up his and Liu’er’s friendship

Once the two meet, Wukong gets romantic feelings for Liu’er and becomes a yandere

He tries to separate Mihou from the other monkeys and the other characters we see in the cartoon and might of killed a few people who got too close to Liu’er

Liu’er never became Sun Wukong’s enemy like in Mei Hou Wang 2009 once Wukong is the new Monkey King, never loses his white fur and becomes oblivious to Shihou’s possessiveness

Sun Wukong gets everything he ever wanted, power, titles, immortality and most importantly of all his future mate, Liu’er Mihou

The two becomes mates, Liu’er is separated from everyone in Mei Hou Wang 2009 and LMK besides from the ffm monkeys in LMK

Liu’er is just a small cute oblivious fluff ball ——————-

This is all I have for now, I’ll add more if I have anymore ideas for it, I’ll make a story at some point.

People can make drawings and one shots about it as long as I am credited for the au.

Just a continuation of the topic with Yandere Mk

/ Here Mei got sick, so Red Son brought her apples :3/

Red Son in this story does not consider either Mei or Mk to be "adults " for him. He sees them more like a younger siblings, who are very annoying, but beloved

And Mk...What about him? He's head over heels in love with the Red Son. He tries to prove that he is worthy of his love, but without result. He even changed his image!! He began to talk moderately, to discuss something besides games and the Monkey King

The Red Son understands everything perfectly, but does not put a bold end to this issue, but also does not give hope. He just doesn't want to upset him too much, but after talking to Mei, he still decides to tell Mk the truth.

Let's say the mayor was panicking looking for something and mk see that when the mayor and macaque were tied up on the plane

And then the Litt reader who very shy and calling the Mayro bad man

And she wants Mommy but don't know het mommy evil

So everyone takes turns taking care of her especially when they find out that she's been a little girl or toddler for years lol

Oooh, intriguing request! 🤩though I won’t be doing all of these as I wouldn’t know how the two would meet and such.

I’m going to do this in groups again as seem to be the easiest for me.

Warning: noob author, sweet rotting cuteness, dark theme, yandere characters, and others.

Characters: mk, mei, sandy, dbk family, macaque and sun wukong.

Mk, mei & sandy:

The three of you meet each other when they were heading to the zero gravity arcade, you had bumped into them actually and so they decided to take care of you until they find your parents.

They took you to pigsy for help, Or that’s what they had plan to do at the start before they started to think. ‘Why was she alone? If she was all by herself wouldn’t that mean she was abandoned?’ At that they knew they would kill the parents as they had abandoned a defenseless girl out in a city.

They shared this with the others but the ones who does more is mk, mei, and later on sandy.

When sandy met you, he knew right away to keep you away from danger like mk and mei is doing. He let’s you play with the cats as you might get stressed from not being able to be with you parents, but you don’t have to worry as you have your new family with him and the others plus his cats especially mo.

When you and the others (pigsy, tang, mk, and mei) went to a shadow play for a break and relaxation.

(I’m doing this by memory so hopefully I do a good job.)

Mk noticed the mayor in another part of the theater and mentioned about the not mayor, you knew the not mayor as he had always followed your mom but you think of him as a bad guy as he creeped you out with how big he smiles.

When they noticed you being scared of the not mayor they made sure to keep you out of his sights right away.

As time went on they began to become more obsessed with keeping you with them.

It was when pigsy, tang, and sandy found the statues of their past life when Sandy released his theories on them and you.

His theory about you is where you seem to have never been aged as you never grew any on the adventure to save the world from lbd.

Though it was soon clear as you explained that your mother had you stay as a child as when you grow up terrible things happens to you when you do so she had made it were you never grow up.

When mk and redson join, mk made sure to give you more affection at the lose of mei to lbd, and since you don’t know your mother is bad you worry about her a lot with this new enemy and you would like her here now.

It wasn’t until macaque came in with the not mayor was when they figured out who your mother is.

And they won’t give you up to her, not on their life.

Sun wukong x macaque:

Macaque had kidnapped you when you were brought to the theater by the noodle family. You were so sweet and innocent.

He’s hoping you would help his relationship with sun as they always wanted a child together but problems escalated and they couldn’t but now they can with you!

He knew you were lbd daughter so he would use that to convince sun wukong to give their relationship another chance.

When sun wukong met you he saw familiar aura around you and like always go with his gut, though that is hard when one you’re adorable and two when the love of your life is wanting to start again.

They did lots of things with you like parents would that made macaque was so glad to find you and would make sure the three of you are together forever.

Sun would do the same, as he is confident in his abilities to eliminate any opponents that would come your way.

When sun was possessed you had asked macaque to let your mother help sun but as lbd is evil and would take you away from the two of them.

So he had to go to the noodle family.

They were obviously shocked and happy to see (Y/n) after for so long of searching for her. He had also bring the not mayor as well.

The not mayor had explained his masters will for destiny and had also explained how (Y/n) will never age from her current age ever, making her forever a child.

They understood her reason but still against her for her wrongdoings.

After defeating lbd though they all decided to try and share (Y/n) with each other with a good few difficulties but all agreed on how it would be better to become a big family to protect and love her and keep her away from all of the corruption that lays upon this world.

Spider queen:

(Sorry if this is short, I’m kinda doing this last minute as I found a way to add her in with changes in the original plot. Hope y’all like!)

You were caught by one of her minions; syntax, specifically, you held a aura around that made her interested in you and decided to have you as her daughter and heir to the throne, as she had always wanted a child that would rule the throne and that wasn’t one of her minions child.

(Don’t know why but I find some similarities from queen chrystalis in spider queen and also have y’all noticed that with spider queen when her hair is down she sort of looks a little like azula?? Anyway back to what’s happening.)

She was at first going to use you for that powerful aura that was just overflowing and rule the world with you as the heir but as time fly by’s she started to realize how she loved being a mother and would do anything to keep you safe and hidden, which is a good thing she didn’t fall for that little girls act and quickly grabbed you and went to a safe place to hide, she also made sure to grab her minions as she needs little helpers to make sure everything is safe for you to properly be her daughter.

She’ll do anything to make sure you stay with her and forever be her daughter and to stay as close with as ever

you were being swarmed by the staff at pigsys shop, your hands tucked in your sweater while they ask you silly questions. “where are you from!! mei asks, uncomfortably close to your face, “and where did you meet mk??” tang says peeking over you, “you guys do know she’s not my girlfriend right…”

mk finally speaks up and you can feel the excitement in the room drop, some of them even looking dejected. the only person in the room who seems to light up at this, is the strange man sitting in the corner, he’s a celebrity so you tried to ignore him through your visit here but it’s almost hard as his follow you every time you get up or excuse yourself. soon most of the people in the shop spread out, starting to do their own things. leaving just you, mei, and mk, it was a little awkward at first but soon lightened up.

“i never thought that THE monkey king would be that weird.” you randomly say, still thinking about the awkward encounter. “he usually isn’t, I don’t know why he’s acting like that” he looks almost scared like he was worried about the guy. “I didn’t even think he would show up, to be honest, when you told me you were the monkey kid I thought you were just joking,” the conversation turns back to the happy one it once was. you guys continue talking about stupid stuff until you want to leave, you wish goodbye to your new friends and start to walk back home.

you can almost feel eyes on you on every step of the way, feeling observed and uncomfortable. you quicken the pace, you feel exposed even with having so many clothes on. you get back to your house safely, making sure to lock the doors. your head immediately hits the pillow, feeling tired, but your mind is happy after an successful day. “you look so adorable when your sleeping.” you immediately jump up looking around to see whoever just talked to you. the hair on your skin feels as if it’s rising and the paranoid feeling comes back again.

you convince yourself it’s just your imagination and start to drift off again, but you feel a cold hand to under your sweater, touching the sensitive skin around your breast. this time however you can’t move, you feel frozen to the spot, the only thing you can move is your eyes, looking up to see the monkey kid fondling you, looking down on you with such intensity like he’s been in love with you forever. you also notice your not in your room, somehow being transported to some weird magical place, one that you can’t help but call beautiful,

“I’m sorry for doing this so suddenly,” the king says, getting closer to kiss your soft lips, “I just couldn’t help myself.” he takes off your sweatshirt completely. immediately nestling between your breasts, “you should stop wearing those big shirts. you look so pretty all naked for me”

Oh my gosh happy birthday!! :D For the sake of not running out of space Imma group this together: ☀️MONKEY MEN🌑: They tried to make you a birthday cake...thing is neither of them know how to bake. They had to set their bitterness aside (or- well, they tried to) and the result was Wukong trying to distract you while Macaque scrambled around trying to find you something, even sending out his clones so he could sweep multiple stores at once (while pocketing a few shiny things for himself b/c mfer is a magpie). 🚦TRAFFIC LIGHT TRIO🚦: Mei got you a gift weeks in advance, she stays on top of birthdays. Same for Red Son! MK however didn't remember until the night before because ADHD is a bitch, but he likely ended up drawing a bunch of pictures of you, him, Red Son, and Mei. Mei also has a cake ready b/c she's The Best Ever. The trio's general vibe is just "BFFs 5ever because it's longer than 4" and everyone they care about is given the same treatment. 📖FREE NOODLES🍜: Pigsy is gonna be cookin' up a whole-ass STORM!! All of your favorite foods will be made, and breakfast is definitely served in bed. Dinner's gonna be a whole feast with the cake made extra special. Tang's the type of guy that follows "It's your birthday, so whatever you say goes!" He'll be fully open to trying out something new, and his gift is going to relate to a really niche subject that he knows you absolutely adore. It's likely he's done research to make sure he got the gift just right! 🕷️SPIDER DEMONS🕸️: These four are so wild it's funny. Spider Queen probably used her silk to make you a really fancy outfit, Syntax (who had your birthday set up as a reminder on his phone) probably is gonna give you some kind of drone that can help you out with mundane stuff (you get to name it). Goliath tried to make something, but whatever it is it's gonna be messy...he did his best. Huntsman? Deadass he probably went to go hunt your favorite animal so he could stuff it. If your favorite animal isn't in the area or it's a fictional one catch this extra-ass motherfucker carving a big-ass statue of it.

They had these gifts prepared. They knew your birthday was coming. They still all forgot until the actual day/the night before, for various reasons. Hey, at least the gifts are well-made. ☠️BONE DUO👻: Both the Lady Bone Demon and the Mayor are going to appear on your doorstep at midnight. They have a full day planned with ways to celebrate your birthday and 'no' is not an option. You will be spoiled!! The Mayor's got enough money to take you out in style, probably in his limo to fancy restaurants, most likely one of those rotating ones. The gifts will be exactly what you need, even if you didn't know you needed it yet. Even if it seems odd at first, best to just go along with it. 🪷CELESTIAL SQUAD🌙: Chang'e has a gigantic cake prepared, most likely one layer for each year of your life. She's been working on this for forever!! Nezha helped her prepare a big party on the moon for you. Both of them are likely to gift you presents of Celestial origins (blessed jewelry that protects you from demonic possession, or a very rare book). They might have lost count of their own ages, but they understand how important birthdays are to some people. 🦁THE🐘BROTHERHOOD🦅: They're completely unfamiliar with how mortals celebrate birthdays, but they're going to do their best. Cake? OK sure they can make one (it looks god awful). Presents? Surely any mortal would appreciate dangerous weapons and armor (it's horribly wrapped)! With the whole "listen to the birthday person" thing they might take it too literally. Like if you say "Let's hit the road" they are going to demolish that goddamn road b/c you said to and are the birthday person. Your wishes must be followed. They're trying they really are.

Primal Moon: Two

(I’ve created a new Character.AI bot to go along with this fic, by the way! ‘Primal Moon Mei’)

Twice a year; once in spring and once in autumn, a verdant moon rises to bring the bestial instincts of non-humans to light. Celestials and demons alike struggle to keep hold of themselves, something ancient welling up within them and shifting their thoughts and feelings to a more animalistic state.

“Be affectionate and kind,” says the voice of your elementary-school teacher, ringing in your head. “The Primal Moon might change your friends, but they’re still your friends. Don’t hit or yell, dears- you’ll only scare and upset whoever you’re dealing with.”

That lesson had been years ago, the first time you had heard this lunar phenomenon referred to by it’s true, scientific name- over the years, it had gained many different monikers.

Many people these days liked to call it ‘viridescence’. Years before it was better understood, it was called the ‘Green Surge’, only used in modern times by segregationists who viewed demons as inherent threats to humans. Religious folk see it as a time of internal cleansing, one’s sins leaving the body. To them, it’s the ‘Spring Tide’, a wave of unholiness exiting one through their connection with the rising moon. Lightheartedly across Internet forums it’s been dubbed ‘Prime Time’, photos of the green moon edited onto pictures of athletes and celebrities.

Your friend is a celebrity in her own right, actually. You had met her when she was live-streaming and struck up a quick friendship, the two of you near and dear to this day.

It’s the first time you’ve actually been around her during a state of viridescence, though- you had both lost track of the time as midnight crept closer, leaving you as perfect little treasure for Mei to take in hand.

She had snatched you right off your feet in her massive maw, hurrying your dangling form to a precious hoard. In it were countless possessions ranging in value, everything from worn childhood plushes to limited edition action figures to antique jewelry.

And you sat on it in the very middle, a sweet and soft crown jewel to be admired and adored.

Now, you look up to her. Her draconian eyes leer down at you, your image reflected in pools of endless yellow. Her head tilts in time with yours, scales twitching with each movement.

“…Mei? Are you alright, hun?”

Delighted by the affectionate nickname, a rumbling purr comes from deep within her throat. Mei adjusts her whole body, pulling you close with a coil of her emerald scales. Your best friend’s head dips forward and nudges yours, the tip of her large, pointed snout pressing against you before she hisses, her tongue flicking out. For just a moment, a strange black and red fire dances along the length of the organ.

Then, she starts to shift- from any other perspective, the event would be awe-inspiring. The graceful slither of her draconic body, each emerald scale glinting like starlight as it caught the sheen of the lanterns above.

There’s a low rumble in the back of her massive throat, a deep and thrumming call. Your best friend twists around until a certain portion of her glittering scales are in front of you- looks like she wants scritches.

“…even during a time like this, you manage to be a little cute.”

You aren’t exactly incredulous at that, though. Mei’s family is absolutely loaded, and they were rather strict and protective throughout her childhood- they had probably gotten her proper (and expensive) counseling to deal with all the problems that viridescence brings. So, although she was impacted as much as any other non-human, Mei was much better at controlling herself than most.

Slowly, you reach out to her scales, scratching at the defensive keratin with both of your hands. “Is that any good, Mei?”

Another rumbling purr comes from her throat, and Mei nudges you once more. Her long tongue flicks out, the wet organ rubbing against your face before slinking away back into her mouth. An incredibly hot sensation spreads where her tongue had been, a few degrees below burning.

It takes everything you have not to scream as the boiling saliva spreads on your cheek, but you manage to compose yourself enough to quickly wipe at the wetness with a sleeve, staggering away from her tongue. And then, in doing so, you lose your balance and slip, tumbling down Mei’s hoard. Near the bottom you land on her tail, feeling a feathery mass of green fur bind around you.

Mei lifts you slowly above herself, releasing you from her grip midair. You fall several feet into the massive coils of her body, feeling the dragon-girl knot herself around you like a python. Against your struggles you find yourself slowly consumed, twisted up like a pretzel in the folds of emerald scales.

There’s heavy pressure pushing on you from all angles, keeping your form locked securely in place. All of Mei is warm to the touch, blocking out the cold of the night. Still, aside from the cheek that had been smeared with fiery saliva, nothing outright hurts. She’s careful to not crush or strangle, though her grip is impenetrably tight. Constant purring rumbles her body, leaving you enfolded in what feels like the world’s coziest earthquake.

Warm and safe in the embrace of your best friend- there are worse ways to face the moon.
