the bite of 87 isn't important to the lore: It comes up ONCE in the first game, barely effects the lore, we don't even know who it happened to, literally its only lore impact is that the animatronics can't walk around during the day anymore. meanwhile the bite of 83 is incredibly likely to be the inciting incident that caused the murderer to do the murders. the "WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87" meme is not the bite of 87

golden freddy might have two souls: in the final fnaf 3 cutscene the bad end has golden freddy's head with two lights in it, and in the survival logbooks it's heavily implied there are two spirits rummaging around in there. there's more evidence but it's funnier if i don't tell you. the generally accepted canon is that golden freddy is possessed by a little boy named evan and a little girl named cassidy which is so genderweird of them

there are two purple guys and only one of them is actually purple: purple guy one is a murderer who killed at least six children. purple guy two is a rotting corpse who had his organs scooped out and possessed his own dead body to hunt down his father (who is purple guy one) and set him on fire twice. purple guy one is also a rotting corpse but he's in a fursuit

foxy has weird fucking genders: the foxy from the first few fnaf games is a guy and is referred to with he/him pronouns. in sister location, there's a foxy called funtime foxy, and when you select "girls night" in the custom night, they're one of the contestants. and in ultimate custom night, mangle (a really fucked up version of foxy) is referred to with he/she pronouns. this is canon and makes my gay little heart very happy

one of the novels had matpat mpreg: okay it's technically not matpat it's a guy named mat. however it's hilarious to say it's matpat. no this isn't a joke there was mpreg. with springtrap. i refuse to explain this

purple guy (the murderer one) might also be a yellow guy: in pizza sim there's a minigame with lore in it where you play a yellow mustard man who's a terrible father. it's theorized a lot that he may be the ourple guy because his son has grey text. no we don't know why he became yellow. he's never yellow again except when he's one of the comical amount of bunnies (there are like ten different bunnies in fnaf)

there are eight dead kids: we even know their names!

purple guy and his family are all british: in the opening cutscene to sister location, we hear the voice of one "mr. afton", who is the purple guy (the one who killed kids). he's british. throughout sister location, we hear the voice of a little girl, who is heavily theorized to be afton's daughter- elizabeth afton. one piece of evidence for this is that she is also british. and in the final cutscene of sister location, we hear the voice of someone named michael (who is the purple guy who's actually purple), talking to his father, and saying he's gonna come fucking KILL him, right before springtrap (purple guy) is shown and guess what michael's fuckin british. fnaf takes place in utah and no other characters are british. it's just the aftons.

there are three different jeremys and they all die: jeremy fitzgerald from the second game is heavily theorized to be the bite of 87 victim. one of the missing children is named jeremy and is possessing one of many bunnies. in the vr game a guy named jeremy is haunted by one of many bunnies and cuts his own face off. i personally find it hilarious to headcanon that jeremy fitzgerald is also jeremy from vr and maybe even the jeremy who got killed by william afton. especially considering the time traveling ballpit

bears are canonically extinct: in security breach, handunit mentions this in ONE LINE. it is not lore important. it is never mentioned again. objectively the funniest possible thing steel wool could've done

Howdy Hey, ID! I wanted your opinion on a theory of mine! I'm only kind of mentioning it since you answered and ask that's kind... added evidence (PQ being labled 'It's Me') So based on The Princess in PQ being labeled as Cassidy at some point in SB I believe that Cassidy must be in the PQ Game. Here's the 'Ify' part of my theory:

I think Cassidy may be the Crying Childs name. I mean in the Logbook CC seemingly alter's text while The one you should not have killed uses faded text, and we find the name in a Word Search, which could be altered text. This means we A)Don't know TOYSNHK's name (That name should theoretically be found with the Foxy grid), but Also B) CC's a girl. Because as time has gone on Cassidy has always been represented as a girl. (Usually with Dark hair and Green eyes) We also have 'It's Me' being particularly linked to CC usually toward Micheal. So if 'It's Me' is the Princess's code name, and 'It's me' is used by CC, and the Princess was once named Cassidy, wouldn't this be the strongest evidence to connect that name with that character, rather than TOYSNHK?

Any theories are valid until disproven with HARD evidence by the Developers, but this just seems to make the most sense to me and i wanted a second opinion, as this means CC has been trying to get rid of GLitchtrap (a form of William in some compacity) in the PQ games.

There are a few reasons I don't think Cassidy is CC (other than the fact that he's referred to in FNAF 4 as Mike's brother and Gregory seems to be much more connected to CC than the Princess imo).

For one, in the novel trilogy, Cassidy was one of the 5 MCI kids, in addition to Susie, Gabriel, Fritz, and Michael Brooks as the Golden Freddy spirit. To me it makes sense that, as Jeremy is in the games instead of Michael but the other names we're given all remain the same, the Cassidy in the games associated with Golden Freddy's would be the same Cassidy, just filling a different role.

It's Me is typically a Golden Freddy thing, but technically it's never specified who is saying it. It could be both CC and the VS. Could be one or the other. It also appears on Foxy's Out of Order sign. For PQ, I took it more as just "ah, ghost kid time and Cassidy's name was in the files and the Princess is Gold therefore Golden Freddy." There's also how Princess is actively trying to yeet Glitchtrap/William and has a conversation with red old man sprite which reminds me of Old Man Consequences. To me, this implies that Cassidy is the Vengeful Spirit being talked to by OMC and trying to attack William, as that's what the VS's whole deal is.

Additionally, with the Logbook, the faded text is the one putting "my name" all over the place to leave clues for the crossword puzzle, and CC is implied to be the altered text.

There's probably some other stuff I could try to remember but I have a final I need to take lol. Hope this helps!

Main characters of Scott Cawthon Theory

You don't know who I am and I don't know who you are, but I have something interesting for you. This pics shows boy and girl who play main role in Scott Cawthon's plans . From Left to right their appearances.

The Desolate Hope - Coffee and Sample 217 (this is their human virtual world like avatars). Pilligrim's Progress The Video Game (Thanks to DJ Sterf for walkthrough of this game) - Same kids from TDH but this time they are minor characters. A Christmas Journey - Ian and Stephy and they are brother and sister. (in my opinion this is their weirdest incarnation/past life). Five Nights At Freddys 4 - Evan Afton/Crying Child/Bite Victim/First Spirit of Golden Freddy & Cassidy (in my theory)/Pigtail Girl/Scary Story Gossiper/Second Spirit of Golden Freddy (again, in my theory, this is also why I think PG and Cassidy is one and same person, I think she looks different in logbook because her appearance in FNAF very similar to Elizabeth aka orange hair and green eyes).

But that's not all, I am sure that also their current reincarnations is Gregory & Cassie from Security Breach & RUIN. Yeah I know that they looks WAY different than kids from other incarnations, Cassie have a different ethnicity or race I think? BUT they still have the same traits like previous reincarnations, stripes and pigtails (even if Cassie's haircut is different, its still similar to pigtails).

Also I find interesting detail, that they have a different heights and ages in their incarnations. The Desolate Hope - same heights but ageless since this is simulation. Pilgrim's Progress The Video Game - same heights and ages. A Christmas Journey - boy taller and older. Five Nights At Freddy's 4 - boy shorter and obviously younger. Security Breach + RUIN - boy taller and older (don't forget that Gregory is 13-14 in SB and Cassie is still a child, probably 12 years old).

My Tally Marks Theory

In FNAF ruin, when you head over to Bonnie ball, you come across that is empty, however there are tally marks on the wall and bunch of plush babies appeared but they disappeared. The 3 main numbers that appeared are 2,4,5. We see those exact numbers in one of the rooms in the daycare where 2,4,5 are coloured. I have theory that those numbers represent the games itself and that FNAF 2, FNAF 4 and Sister Location are connected.

Let's start with the easy one and that is the connection between Sister Location and FNAF 4. With Sister location having voice-lines, we get more information about the lore itself. In one of the voice-overs, William Afton is discussing about Circus Baby where he is speaking to the board member about what Circus Baby was created for based off she will entertain the kids, the board member is more curious about the blueprints themselves since they show questionable details. This is because the funtime animatronics were created by William Afton to lure and kill children. Through baby's designs, she is 7ft2 making her the tallest animatronic of the franchise. Her questionable design that I believe the board member wanted to know is the fact that she has a claw. This is because she was created to kidnapped children without nobody suspecting. Another thing we have is there's a dialogue where you hear a little girl asking her father to let her play with baby but she also says that her father created baby for her. These lines show that the little girl is the daughter of William Afton.

In the Sister location minigame and Circus Baby's monologue it is heavily implied that Elizabeth broke her father's rule and went over to Circus Baby. While no one was looking, Circus Baby takes the claw out and kill Elizabeth Afton. In FNAF 4, you find an empty girls room. This shows that the crying child and foxy bro are not only related to the little girl but it shows that they are the children of serial killer William Afton. The last piece of evidence which when you find the private room, in the corner of the TV. There is a fredbear plushie with a device. If you type 1983 in the key pad. The three screen change to a surveillance video of inside of the house. But the house is shown to be the house that the crying child lived in.

So since we figure out how sister location is connected to FNAF 4. We need to figure how both of them are connected to FNAF 2. There is one game that will help us with this and it's the most recent one, FNAF Help Wanted 2. In the game, you have to collect to these memory plushies. While The four main plushies (freddy, chica, Bonnie and foxy) are found in minigames, they are associated with. But the golden freddy plushie and the puppet plushie are found in places that doesn't make sense, I mean when you find the puppet plushie is found in a sister location game where you type 1983 in a code. But the problem is 1983 was only mentioned in FNAF 4 and the puppet wasn't even seen in the game. Meanwhile for the golden plushie, it is found in hard mode of Fizzy Faz Night 3, the staff bots are replaced with the nightmare Bots that look eerily similar to nightmarionne, the nightmare version of the puppet. I think this steel wool telling us that FNAF 2 and FNAF 4 are connected along with sister location.

In order to see to how they are connected, we have to look at the security log book. In the book, you see faded words which it sounds like the book is either talking to the owner rather it's talking to someone else within the book. The security logbook was a big help because it gives the fans that identity of golden freddy, Cassidy. But it also shows that golden freddy was possessed by not just Cassidy but also the crying child. Cassidy mentions something to the crying child that we only seen once which is the carousel. The first and only time, we saw the carousel is in FNAF 2 until we have to fix it in Help Wanted 2. Since we know that FNAF 2 takes place in 1987 and FNAF 4 takes place in 1983 which is the year of the one of the bites. They are showing us that the carousel was around when the crying child was alive and they brought it back for the grand reopening when they opened the new pizzeria in 1987.

Another thing I do wanna bring up is how similar the funtime animatronics are to the toy animatronics more specifically what they were made more. Since we know that the funtime animatronics was created by William Afton to lure and kill children. The toy animatronics are the opposites instead of killing children, they are protecting children and they have a criminal database where they can detect a mile away. Even when somebody tampered with their face recognition, they are okay with kids but they just stare at the adults. Not to mentioned, it is most likely that it was Mangle who caused the bite of '87 and possibly the reason why they had to close down and the toy animatronics ended up being scrapped.

The funtime animatronics have a similar experience, Elizabeth Afton falls victim to Circus Baby which results them to close down Circus Baby's Pizza World. In night 5, you find two IT technician hung in the Ballora gallery and funtime auditorium. The funtime animatromics are sent to the scooping room where their endoskeletons are destroyed in way to cover any evidence of murder. They also ended up using the scooper to scoop up Michael Afton's organs to steal his identity.

However the question we need to answer is who created the funtime animatronics? Was it Henry Emily? Well let's see the evidence. While the phone guy in FNAF 2 said they were trying to contact the original owner of FredBear's Family Diner which I believe is Henry Emily. They could've found the blueprints of the toy animatronics and since they know that the killer was still at large and they also knew the pizzeria appeared to be the hunting ground, they put the criminal database like the blue prints said. I believe that the blueprints were made by Henry Emily. Why I think that? Well in the insanity ending, you listen to Cassette Man whom know is Henry Emily goes into a monologue where he feels guilt and remorse. He confessed how he unwilling created a monster and how he needs to stop the monster one and for all. Not to mentioned in ultimate custom night, where you get a cutscene that shows Freddy whom represents Henry trying to stop Foxy whom represents William but keeps failing.

I think he was going to make the toy animatronics but instead up scraping it and went into hiding because he probably thought catching him won't do since the one thing that they never found were the bodies. I also think that the concept art that were released before Security Breach were probably what Henry's vision of the toy animatronics would look like and how eerily similar to the funtime animatronics with the faceplate as well.

They have similar features to the toy animatronics except the toy animatronics are seen as kid friendly since how they were made in order for the kids to like them not be scared of them. I think Henry wanted to have William Afton be caught by an animatronic that is the opposite to the animatronics he created. One of my theories that I have done is not only the crying child and Charlie's death happened in 1983, but also the crying child witnessed Charlie being murdered which caused him so much trauma and I think that with FNAF 4, FNAF 2 and sister location shown to be connected, it possible that Steel Wool telling us that is the case.

Cassidyay be crying Child

Iknow i just made my Eva cc thing but just listen

I literally made this script for a video so if it paced weird thats why

Cassidy isn’t the TOYSNHK. Like that’s not her name. Cassidy is the name of the CC.

This script ORIGINALLY started out as a ‘CC’s name could be Eva’. Then I had a revelation while looking for the reference photo’s for that.

Let’s start with Eva vs Evan. The community got Evan from the Logbook’s Foxy Grid, but the ‘N’ was always shaky and used difference Evidance compared to the ‘EVA’. But it HAD to be Evan because Eva’s a girl name and CC is a boy… 

So I sat there googling if Eva can be a boy name, it can but is more strongly considered a girl name, and wondering if CC could be a girl. Then while looking for the OG theory on that and the images associated I had this… Epiphany. 

TOYSNHK talks through faded text right? And CC alter’s text? That’s how they communicate. 

*take deep breath*

The word search text is CC answering ‘What is your name’, CC says his name is Cassidy, which is a more gendernuatural name (I mean in the book series cassidy is also referenced as a girl, but Scott was a bit wishy washy with pronouns and genders in the first few games), so it would make more sense. Then the Word seach saying ‘What is your name’ is Cassidy/CC question to TOYSNHK.

The Foxy gird answer, with a faded alphabet in it, is TOYSNHK’s answer to CC/Cassidy’s question. 

It’s a conversation.

Faded: What is your name?

Altered: Cassidy. What’s Your name?”

Faded: Eva.

Does this change anything with the widely accept Fnaf theories at large? No not really, you just replace any mention of Cassie as TOYSHNHK’s name as Eva. Now I will admit there are some counter points. With Cassidy looking like the log book child in the novels. But other wise this fits better.

Am I saying this is 100% correct? No, but it’s worth considering, especially since it turns a widley accepted fact on it’s head.

Next time I do a theory video like this I may get into my ‘Cassie might be paralleling CC and Gregory is paralleling Micheal’ theory. But that’s a problem for another Hess.

In Ultimate Custom Night, we did not know the name of "The One [Afton] Should Not Have Killed", although we could infer that they were a boy, and the spirit within Golden Freddy. Personally, I was satisfied with that, and wasn't particularly bothered with learning their name. However, FNaF's story direction had other plans, given that the Survival Logbook had a series of clues leading to to the name... Cassidy.

Some further context: Cassidy was the name of a Missing Child, a girl who possessed Bonnie within the continuity of the Novel Trilogy (the role of Golden Freddy was filled by Michael Brooks, who was characterised completely different to The One). She was a background figure in The Fourth Closet, who was brought into sharp focus by the fanbase due to the Logbook. To which, I just have to ask... why? No really, why Cassidy? It feels really bizarre to take the name of a background Missing Child and make her the Golden Freddy kid, especially as The One was indicated to be a little boy, and Book Cassidy does not seem to have any of the traits of The One. This is in contrast to the rest of the Missing Kids between the Novels and the Games, who seem to be a perfect match, especially Susie.

There is of course a different perspective, that Cassidy was chosen to be the name of the Golden Freddy kid for some time, but if that was the case, I don't see why she was put to Bonnie, when there was already the boy Jeremy, the name of the Bonnie kid in the games. What makes this even stranger is that the Fazbear Frights series has it's own equivalent to The One, namely Andrew, a boy who is implied to be the Golden Freddy of FF. It's so bizarre that there is a child who may as well be The One, even down to their gender, but seemingly cannot be. Now let me be clear, I do not think the Stitchwraith storyline occurs within the games, what I'm saying is, just like how many of the Missing Children are consistent between Games, Novels and short stories, would it have been such an issue to keep the Vengeful Gold Freddy the same? You know what, heh, I would have been fine with Bonnie being a girl called Cassidy in every version of the FNaF story.

What is a question you have about the fnaf lore?

I don’t have that much questions about FNAF lore per say. It’s too complicated and I don’t care that much. And if I do have questions abou the lore, it’s probably the same as everybody’s.

Like, “are The Security Girl and Vanny the same person?”, “Is Ballora also possessed by a spirit, and if yes, then who?”, “Are Funtime Foxy and Mangle the same animatronics?”, “Is Henry gay?” or “Who’s Cassidy exactly?” Ahhdhdjd. The last one bothers me the most, probably. It’s a spirit who possesses Golden Freddy along with the Crying Child (who’s name is Evan, apparently) ((according to MatPat)). But how are they connected to Aftons and Emilys or are they just a random kid who just so happened to be stuck in the same animatronic as the crying child shdbfjfbdj + they were never shown in mini games or really talked about in the books or games, except for the Security Logbook.

Elizabeth Afton is actually the Youngest Sibling - as @birdsareblooming pointed out, when we see her room in fnaf4, she has a torn-apart mangle toy. mangle was stated to be made to entertain toddlers. would also explain why she's not in the gameplay, she's at daycare/with her mom

The Vengeful Spirit is Michael Afton - another one where cori convinced me and I might have an entire essay that I will publish after I finally sit down and edit through the Security Logbook section but until then here's a bullet point post

The Girl in Drowning is representative of Charlie, not Cassidy - She's literally got gray skin, black hair, gray clothes, and neon green lighting, much like a certain gray-skinned black-haired pixel girl with a green bracelet who died in the rain (water motif). Her dragging Kara down because she doesn't want to be alone could be seen as a metaphor for Charlie trying to give life but instead kinda sticking them all in robots

FNAF AR had some BANGIN re-skins - come on. look at them. Clockwork Ballora? Bangin. Broiler Baby? Bangin. Catrina Toy Chica? BANGIN. Springtrap as an actual fucking clown???? BANGIN.

Vanessa is an Afton in the Gameverse, too – Cori's workin on a whole explanation diagram for this but the most BASIC evidence is "her last name starts with 'a' and she's a nepo baby." I dont think she's William's DIRECT daughter cause man died in the 90s and she was 23 in the 2030s so. grandkid or smth

"Cassidy" isn't the Golden Freddy Kid's name, it's Crying Child's – the logbook has Crying Child communicate through manipulating the text, while the spirit he's talking to speaks in faint writing; the second spirit never has a confirmed identity, but CC is most definite considering the stuff referenced around him. The "ITS ME CASSIDY" is revealed through.... manipulated text. The clues are in........ manipulated text. "It's Me" is CC calling out to Michael. The other spirit says "My name is..." a couple times BUT they also ask CC if he remembers his name just a few pages before. Granted this might just be us not understanding something but also if Cassidy is CC's name then who the fuck is Golden Freddy Kid. is Michael Brooks still canon

The nightmare gas didn't "ruin the lore" it's just kinda funny – look guys literally all of this lore is fucked, the fact they just threw in "also William Afton was doing nightmare gas experiments on kidnapped kids and then abandoned it for shits and giggles" in the eighth book of their second anthology series and then moving on like nothing happened while the fanbase collapses in on itself is like THE funniest thing they could've done

Out of Curiosity and a bit of Confusion: Is there any way you could explain what exactly happens on the "Happiest Day" and what Charlie (and possibly CC Afton ?) have to do with it?

The exact details aren't specifically known, but from what we know, a 'happiest day' occurs when a spirit's happy memories outweigh whatever is causing them to stick around, giving them the ability to move on. In FNAF 3, you have to complete the minigames to bring in 4 of the MCI kids, those in the main animatronics, before Charlie (who seems to have a gift for working with spirits) can give the fifth, Golden Freddy spirit cake, symbolically giving all of them the ability to move on (though if HD did happen, they didn't move on based on FFPS at that point).

As for CC, he's likely the Golden Freddy spirit receiving the cake. After all, I don't think the Vengeful Spirit would be as easily appeased, and in the next game, he's highlighted as a major character connected to Fredbear and to the guard in FNAF 1. There's art in the logbook of a girl matching Cassidy's description getting cake from the puppet, and another in Security Breach of the girl in a hospital bed with the FNAF 4 bedspread, so I think that symbolizes how Cassidy and CC are both in Golden Freddy, and that when it's showing Cassidy in those images, it's actually CC who was there.

One theory about why all the other spirits had to be brought in for HD in FNAF 3 is that CC's memories/Remnant was used to stabilize the possession of the MCI kids, splitting parts of his memories and soul between them. Without his memories, CC couldn't move on, and the other spirits couldn't move on while still having them. So, Happiest Day was him being "put back together" so he would be able to move on.

Not that he seems to have lol.
