Seven Sentence Sunday

Hi! You might've noticed my header's absence—that's because @littlemisskittentoes made me this lovely moodboard for my F1 rivals-to-lovers fic which I'm writing for the big bang, and which I'll be sharing a snippet of today.

Also, thanks to everyone who tagged me Wednesday! I didn't quite get it together to post, so I'll be thanking y'all with the rest of my tags below the cut.

Alex opens his mouth, though how he plans to respond, he’s not certain. Before any words come to mind, though, his phone slips through his hand, bouncing onto his shoe before landing on the tile between them. Alex kneels down to pick it up, momentarily saved from forming a reply. His brain’s still coming up empty, though, when Henry speaks again. “You might as well suck my cock while you’re down there.” Alex whips his head up to make sure he didn’t just imagine those words coming out of Henry’s mouth. He’s prevented from pinching himself when Henry adds, “It’ll be good practice, looking up at me.”

Seven Sentence Sunday

I am bringing you more of the lovely work No Nut November coming to an AO3 near you on Nov. 30th. (fair warning I am unable to make my crack fics not have feels inside them.)

If he just acts like it is normal, if he just acts like he gets to have this with Henry all of the time then maybe Henry will not mind enough to let it become standard. To make it something that is every day as opposed to a fantasy that Alex dreams up long after the orgasms and jokes have passed. When it is dark outside and all that can be heard is the rush of the city and the occasional ambulance, and Alex is left with his pounding thoughts, a heavy staccato against his skull, a meandering rhythm that is never even, never sure footed, and never aware of just how much it hurts. Alex dreams of getting to have Henry in all the soft ways, in all the important ways. He dreams of getting to hold his hand and place kisses on the soft spot between his ear and neck. He thinks about recharging with cuddles on the couch and books read out loud to each other. In the darkness of their apartment, in the dead of night, when he is allowed to be soft, when he is allowed to be serious, Alex dreams hard of what it might be like to get to call Henry his, and mean it in every definition of the term.

(Out of character) hi howdy it's damien and this is my blog to rb pokemon posts in character as my pokesona Damarine (pronounce it and shorten it however) who I'll eventually make a ref for and some lore bits but that'll be later and I'll tack it onto the post when I get around to it, anyway here's some info on Damarine:

Disclaimer for any anti shiny people: Magikal was not caught in the wild nor was she from a shiny mill, she was a surprise in a group of magikarp eggs that my family raised, and she's named after the line of matriarch karp, she's healthy for her kind and well cared for, I do not support shiny mills whatsoever

Facts:

Magikarp enthusiast

Has several tattoos of water pokemon and late Magikarp of theirs

Very cool like water

Not even really that aggressive like one would think when they're mad but a hell of a dagger glare

Several scars from trying to pet water mon and failing to do so

Has gone through more flippers than shoes

Vegetarian

Might eat your caterpie though

Hops around locations, touristy person

Water trainer overall but the dark type peeks its head sometimes

In the form of being menacingly chaotic

V has four copies of this magazine: one to put the A4s in her locker at school, one to put the pull-out posters up in her bedroom, one to read, and one that’s still in mint condition.

V: “This was after one of the approximately seven quadrillion shows I went to between 2008-2009. Greg said “we’ve taken too many smiling photos, let’s make serious faces for this one,” and this is how it turned out. The matching shirts were an accident. This was one of my favorite shows of all time even though the audience was tiny and it was in a bar that really didn’t have a good area for an audience – it was so energetic and so much fun anyway!”

Greg Raposo/RAPOSO - “Nothing” (Ready To Go, 2008)

V: “The photoshoot for this era of Greg’s band (called RAPOSO, and then STEREOPATH, and then Greg Raposo Band, and then RAPOSO again) was done by one of my best friends out in New York in 2008, while the band and us groupie squad were at a show for the Fresher’s Week at the university of one of our other best friends/gals in the groupie squad. The four of us really poured our entire hearts, souls, and every ounce of energy into Greg and his band for those two years! I designed the group’s 2008-2009 logo and MySpace page, for which this photoshoot served as the header. This song was never considered one of the band’s leads or singles, but it’s among my very favorites.”
