All forms of fan works are welcome, as are all Kylux Adjacent pairings.
There are lots of options to choose from regarding creation. We have 3 prompts available for each day (two words and one quote) and you can pick which one you create for. For example, on Day 1, you could create based on the prompt ‘Rescue’ and ignore ‘Kidnapping’ or ‘Take Me Instead’ or you could choose to incorporate two or three prompts into your creation. There are no restrictions at all!
On the prompts days, you can either submit your creation directly to us via our submissions box or you can post it on your own tumblr. If you post it on your own tumblr, make sure to tag it with the tag (#makekyluxsuffer) and mention us (@makekyluxsuffer) so that we can reblog it here for everyone to see.

It's Karma
Day 2 of MakeKyluxSuffer (@makekyluxsuffer) - Blood | Bruises | ‘You’re Hurting Me.’
---------------------------------
“Honey. Please stay awake.” Hux said shaking Kylo. The transport to get off the collapsing base was on the way. Kylo only had to hold on until the medics could get there.
Kylo groaned as Hux applied pressure on his wound. “I’m sorry.” He whispered, looking up at his boyfriend. “You better be.” Hux joked.
“No,” he said raising his hand to touch Hux’s check “It’s Kama.”
“And why is it Kama?” Hux asked, he could hear the transport landing close by. “I killed him. I killed my dad. And then I went after the girl and...”
“Excuse me General. You're going to have to move so we can get him on a stretcher.” Hux followed as Kylo was brought on board the transport and taken to the medical centre in the back.
Hux sat in the seat, looking at his hands.
He didn’t care for the planet blowing up behind him.
All he could focus on was the blood on his hands.
“General.”
Hux looked at the doctor. “He’s going to need more medication when we get to the finalizer. But other than that he should be okay.” Hux nodded, unable to find words. “Are you okay sir? That’s quite a lot of blood.” Hux looked back down at his hands.
“It’s not my blood.”

Why Not Me?
For @makekyluxsuffer prompt 4: Forbidden/Unrequited/ “I’ll Always Be Alone.”
If someone had told Armitage Hux back when he was but a cadet that he would be hopelessly in love with an ex-Jedi in a few years, he would have called them crazy.
Then he would have shot them with his blaster for daring to suggest he was able to feel, let alone love.
Yet here he was, the youngest General in the history of the first order, head over heels for Kylo Ren, leader of the Knights of Ren.
His co-commander. His enemy. His reason for trying, his reason for wanting the first order to achieve success. When they won the war, Hux had promised himself he would tell Ren how he felt.
That was until the girl. A lowly scavenger, whose only claim to fame was her mysterious connection to the “Force”.
And she had Kylo Ren completely wrapped around her dirt-covered fingers from the moment he heard about her.
Hux had lost many nights to a mental competition (usually accompanied by a strong drink) of himself to the girl. The only things she had going for her were her force ability and her body.
Though it wasn’t exactly like she was beautiful, Hux understood the appeal, even if he had never found women attractive and never would.
The truth was Hux succeeded her in every way, the only difference being that he was not a woman, nor was he force-sensitive.
He was 99% sure Ren didn’t care what gender the scavenger was, but it wasn’t like he could make himself un-forcenull.
Hux found himself despairing, because Ren had it all right there: a person with similar position, someone who could balance out his weakness, someone who wasn’t a golden pillar for the karking Resistance- but no, he wanted the Jakku Rat.
As Hux watched the holo-projected version of Ren propose to the girl (because that what it was, a proposal, no matter how negatively he had worded it) he couldn’t help but react to Ren’s statements.
“Join me,” the past version of Ren pleaded.
Hux stretched his hand out to Ren’s, just as the voice of the girl cried out about “Ben” and all that other nonsense.
He shut the projector off. He knew what happened next.
He had the scars to prove it.
He placed his head in his hands, sliding down against his wall onto the floor of his quarters.
Ren would always be obsessed with her. That was the truth of the matter- Hux could see it in the other man’s eyes.
“I’ll always be alone,” Hux declared.
He could love no one but Ren, and Ren would never love him back.

@makekyluxsuffer day 2 using prompt: ‘you’re hurting me’
“You’re… Hurting me,” Ren says. Even through the mask, he sounds shocked. His head is tilted up, exposing his neck; Hux has his fingers dug into it. He’s not quite sure why Ren hasn’t killed him yet.
“You have hurt me before,” Hux points out. But it’s not the same, he knows. Ren had used the Force. Thrown Hux at walls, choked him with invisible hands, shoved him across the bridge or set him stumbling into corners. Never with his hands.
Ren has hurt other people with his hands. Or his sabre. Now--that’s an interesting thought.
“You avoid touching me,” Hux says. “Why is that, Ren?”
Ren’s hand raises, grasps at Hux’s wrist. Hux tightens his hold.
“Why, General,” he chokes out. “Do you anguish for my touch?”
“Why haven’t you forced me away yet.” Hux asks. Ren remains silent. Hux frowns. Lets go. Ren lets Hux’s wrist slip from his fingers, and turns on his heel. Leaves.
Hux watches him go.
He sees Ren next a day later. On the bridge. Ren turns to face him, makes sure Hux is watching as he tilts his head up, just enough for Hux to see the newly blooming bruises on his neck, barely hidden by his collar. Hux’s eyebrows furrow. He does not get distracted. He turns away.
He’s not quite sure what to do about this, this… Infatuation with him that Kylo Ren appears to have developed.
He is, on the other hand, sure he can use it to his advantage, somehow. He simply has to figure out a way to. For now, Hux elects to just ignore him.
Two weeks slip by--slow and quiet as a deep river, for Hux, at least. Ren, however, is getting antsy--he is more trigger-happy with the Finalizer’s crew, for one. He startles easier. Hux finds Ren has been spending more time in the training rooms, as well.
And it would not be worrisome--this pattern has happened before; whenever Snoke comes down hard on Ren’s back then it is the rest of the ship that pays for it--but Hux can feel Ren watching him at all times, a sort of pressure at the back of his mind. It makes Hux want to rush his thought processes. He knows, however, that to rush (and to rush here, especially, to rush the issue of Ren) would be inadvisable.
So, of course, it is just Hux’s luck that Snoke decides now is an acceptable time to call both him and Ren in for a debriefing on some issue or another. Hux enters Snoke’s pseudo-throne room; his heels click loud and echo in the silence.
For once, Ren is already present.
His back is to Hux. The feeling of something in the back of Hux’s mind increases until he can feel it throbbing in his skull, like his head is going to implode and all that will be left shall be a crater of--well, of brain matter, Hux supposes. He stops shoulder-to-shoulder with Kylo Ren, staring up at the great black dias Snoke likes to project himself onto.
“He’s not coming.”
Hux does not react to these words for a full minute. The pressure in his head builds.
“Stop that.” He says.
“Stop what?” Ren murmurs. The mask’s modulator gives it a rasping undercurrent.
“Whatever you’re doing to my head,” Hux snaps. “Get out of there. You don’t belong in there.”
“I belong wherever I want to,” Ren informs him. Hux’s lip twitches into a snarl.
“Do you now.” He says.
“I do,” Ren whispers, the breathy tone coming out almost purely static. Hux turns his head to watch him.
“You’re goading me,” he says.
“I am.”
“You want me to hurt you.”
“...I do.”
Hux narrows his eyes. “And what would you do for me in return?”
He can feel the smirk underneath Ren’s mask. “I’d get out of your head, General,” Ren purrs. Hux’s upper lip pulls back again, and quick as a whip he pulls out his monomolecular blade and shanks Ren in the side.
“...Oh!” Ren gasps, coughs. And Hux drags the blade out of his co-commander’s flesh, cleans it on Ren’s doubtlessly filthy uniform (if anyone could call it that) and leaves the room. His heels echo just as loud, offset by Ren’s laboured breathing. Hux passively realizes he must have caught Ren in the lung. When he hears the thud of a body collapsing behind him, Hux does not turn around.
…Hux does, however, visit Ren in medbay, not even two hours later. “Do you regret your actions, now?” He asks.
“No,” Ren says, immediately. Hux isn’t quite sure what else he expected, really. He hums.
“Would you stay off the bridge more often, if I hurt you,” he asks, and Kylo laughs. He still has his mask on, and everything he says comes out so, so garbled.
“You don’t want me off the bridge, General,” he says. “You enjoyed seeing the marks you left on me. You enjoyed the way it made you feel.”
Hux snarls, torn between the need to hurt Ren and the knowledge that Ren will only enjoy it. His illogical side wins, and Hux plunges his fingers knuckle-deep into the wound he’d left before, easily breaking through the thick layer of bacta coating its surface. Ren shudders, spine arching, collapsing against Hux as blood starts dripping down his side. Hux watches it pool on the floor.
“I hate you.” He tells Ren.
“I know,” Ren answers.

Here events went differently - Kylo summoned his dead mate at the moment when Hux was already dead, but had not yet regained his senses. It broke the natural course of things. He remained forever sixteen years old, could not speak and was very attached to Kylo.

@makekyluxsuffer Day 1 ; Kidnap/Rescue/‘Take Me Instead’ (Post TROS, canon divergence, no Ben Solo & Hux Lives AU)
Hux never wanted to return to Exegol.
It was difficult enough for him being in the darkened skies over it during the final battle against the Resistance, eyes scanning the surface for any sign of his beloved Ren. Eliminating both Darth Sidious and Rey in one battle wasn’t an easy feat but Kylo had emerged victorious, albeit missing an arm and in desperate need of medical aid.
With Palpatine gone for good, Hux believed that all the Force nonsense was over. He believed he and Kylo could rule the galaxy in peace, with order and control. He was wrong.
The scattered Sith acolytes have gathered and chosen Kylo as their next leader. Or rather, chosen to clone him and use his blank slate to mould him into their pawn, their weapon, their very own leader.
And of course, they need the original Ren to clone.
They’re chanting when Hux enters their temple. It’s buried deep within the chambers of Exegol, rooms filled with equipment and tanks ready for their new offspring, with detailed analysis of Kylo’s body and health scanning through the screens as though he’s a piece of data and not a living creature.
Hux has come alone, dressed in his black and red stormtrooper armour, minus a helmet and modified with better weapons and more room for agile movement. His backup are waiting outside; if he can’t rescue his husband then no one else is going to have a chance.
When Hux finds him, Kylo is lying on a stone slab like an animal readying for sacrifice. His robes have been torn from him, leaving him naked and shivering. There’s a tight collar around his neck that is glowing red, an eerie crimson colour that reminds Hux of the glow of a red kyber crystal. The cuffs around his wrists and ankles are the same, seemingly pulsing with dark energy.
At the foot of the stone slab are eight figures in red, hooded robes, their faces hidden from sight and their chants low and mysterious. Hux doesn’t understand what they’re saying but he doesn’t need to. His twin blasters are on them as soon as he enters the temple’s chamber.
“Let him go,” Hux says, his tone laced with power. “Let him go now.”
The acolytes do not stop chanting. They don’t move, unfazed by Emperor Hux’s entrance. He takes the opportunity to tend to Kylo, touching his cheek and whispering his name.
“H-Hux,” Kylo breathes, wheezing. His eyes are barely open, barely conscious. His skin is littered with cuts; he would have put up a damn good fight before he was taken and stripped.
“It’s alright, Ren. I’m here. I’m taking you home.”
The chanting stops abruptly, startling Hux with the sudden silence. Seven of the hooded figures take a step back, leaving one at the front.
“You will not speak to the vessel,” it says, speaking as though a serpent would, hissing. “He is ours.”
“He’s mine,” Hux growls, standing up and staring down the acolyte. “You won’t touch him again.”
The acolyte huffs, “The boy has great power. The dark side is strong with him, his blood is worthy of the Sith. We will clone him and take his essence. You may have his empty shell when we are done.”
Low chuckles emit from the group of hooded creatures. Hux remains tall.
“Take me instead,” he says, tears brimming in his eyes as he looks down at Kylo, counting the bruises that litter his pale skin. “Let him go. I’ll take his place.”
The acolytes erupt into laughter.
“You!” The main one shakes their head. “Armitage Hux. A runt and bastard child of an old commandant. You are not worthy. You know nothing of the Force or the dark side. You will be punished for coming here and interfering with the boy’s destiny.”
The acolyte raises a pale, wrinkled hand as though to summon powers but nothing happens. Only Kylo’s heavy breathing echoes throughout the chamber.
“Unworthy,” Hux smirks, placing his twin blasters back into their holsters strapped to his thighs. “I’ve heard that word my whole life. I’ve proved everyone else wrong and I’m about to do the same to you.”
Slowly, he unclips the stormtrooper armour that covers the back of his hand, removing the black glove underneath. His lips purse together in a satisfied grin as he reveals his palm to the group of hidden figures, showing them the ancient symbol that sits there. The Sith. Sidious.
“No! It cannot be!”
“Impossible!”
“He is our saviour, not the boy!”
Hux shakes his head, “I may be a Hux in name but I am a Palpatine by blood. You call me a bastard but my mother was the Emperor’s legitimate daughter. You insult him by insulting me. You’ve tested me by taking and hurting the one I love and for that, you’ll pay.”
“No! Emperor, please!”
“Mercy!”
“I’ll show you who’s unworthy,” Hux grits his teeth in rage, unleashing his collated Force powers onto the acolytes, making their minds suffer as he pollutes them from the inside.
No one takes what’s his.
The red hue of Kylo’s restrains dims as Hux calls forth all of the darkness around him, fuelling his powers to destroy the acolytes until they collapse as mindless bodies, drained of their life by the grandson of the leader they once blindly followed.
When Hux is satisfied that they’re taken care of, he turns to his beloved. It would seem as though Kylo passed out before he had the chance to see any of what’s just happened. It’s probably for the best, Hux thinks, as he pulls back on his glove and armour; this way, he can keep on protecting Kylo from afar like he has done since the day they fell in love.

It feels like fly.
Day 1 of MakeKyluxSuffer (@makekyluxsuffer) - Kidnapping | Rescue | ‘Take Me Instead.’
----------------------------
“KYLO!”
Hux yelled as he ran through the ship towards the hanger. The resistance had made their way onto the ship. From the bridge Hux was able to see the security footage of them taking Ren and dragging him towards the hanger.
Hux needed to stop them, so he decided to run after them, and run he did. He didn’t stop he only worried about getting to Kylo in time to stop the resistance taking someone else Hux loved. They had already taken his mum and his dad from him, and he was about to let them take his fiancé too. Hux rounded the corner into the hanger. There stood Kylo being spoken to by General Organa. “KYLO!”
Hux felt something hit him.
He brought his hand down to his stomach.
Kylo looked at him with horror in his eyes.
Hux looked up at General Organa.
The blaster she held was aimed at him.
He looked down.
Red.
He had been shot.
Kylo raced over and was able to catch Hux as he fell backwards. “Baby, please. You have to stay with me.” Hux looked up at Kylo, pure love in his eyes, he reached an arm to wipe away the tear that fell. “Please, Armi. The wedding is only a week away.” There was a gasp from behind, but Kylo ignored it.
“I love you.” Hux said closing his eyes.
Hux’s breathing stopped.
Kylo let out a shrill scream.
“Take me,” He yelled up at the sky. “Take me instead. Not him. Anyone but him.”
But nothing happened.
Kylo clutched onto Hux’s body, sobbing into his fiancé’s hair, as the resistance and his mother stood there watching.
Just mumbling 3 words over and over.
“Take Me Instead.”

The Skywalker Legacy
For @makekyluxsuffer prompt 3: loss/grief/”please don’t leave me”.
Kylo Ren was a man who wore a mask. He covered his face to emulate his grandfather, the very man whose legacy he hoped to achieve and surpass. He spoke through a voice coder to hide the youth his real voice betrayed, he covered the eyes in his mask so no one could see his emotions through them. There was only one person Kylo Ren would take his mask off for- his husband and former enemy, Hux.
Hux also wore his own mask, but Kylo had figured out how to take it off, just as Hux had taken off his. Originally, their marriage had been one of convenience, because Hux hadn’t trusted Kylo not to break off a relationship after he got what he wanted from Hux. Kylo had said yes simply because he figured it would be less of a pain than saying no.
How things had changed. Now, he and Hux truly loved one another, having spent months with the other without the influence of Snoke. They both got something out of it neither had expected: love.
On the night of their one-year anniversary, Kylo woke to the sound of a sudden silence. Hux was always fitful when he rested; due to years of caffeine consumption every waking hour of the day, his circadian rhythm had suffered the consequences. The man was never quiet when he slept.
Next to him, in their marital bed, lay Hux with his eyes unmoving. His lips quiet, his skin paler than snow. When Kylo placed his hands over his husband’s chest, hoping to solve whatever night terror this was with the force, he realized Hux wasn’t breathing.
The cry that left his lips shattered the windows of their home. He held the man of his dreams and nightmares in his arms, wishing for more time. They had just figured things out. They were planning for children.
Now, Hux would never get to see the First Order emerge victorious. He wouldn’t get to see anything at all.
“Please,” Kylo said with his face covered in tears, his stoic mask broken for good, “don’t leave me.”
But Hux was already gone.
