Just a dream
I’m still on a bit of that horror train, so I took a bit of a softer idea I’ve been chewing on for a bit and decided to flex my descriptive muscles. That’s it. Is this super fucking clear? Probably not. But I hope it’s at least descriptive, and effective in painting the picture I want.
I also wanted to explore a bit more of a dark take on my usual writing energy? Idk, kinda hard to explain. I just wanted to write something that crossed wires in a way.
CW: Beware! There be attempted gore ahead! There’s also a bit of a sexual energy, dipping slightly into Ryoji’s darker tastes. Maybe this counts as a hint of Ero Guro? Not super heavy on the Ero tho, it’s just there. The biggest warning is for there being gore.
Minato squirmed beneath Ryoji’s touch, his back arched into his palm, his body offered up for each of Ryoji’s whims. Which, was a sight that brought a soft smile to the god’s face before he dipped his head and began a slow trail of feather-light kisses at the wildcard’s jaw and moved down his neck, then his sternum. “Ryoji…” the shaggy-haired man beneath the god sighed, his cloudy grey eyes focus on the brunette as he continued to leave delicate kisses down Minato’s belly. Each kiss and playful nibble enough to make the muscles below his pale skin flutter, or a shiver run down Minato’s body. A phenomenon that made Ryoji pause with his lips still against the man’s warm skin as he purred, “God, you’re so pretty, funeral lily…” Each fresh inhale of the wildcard’s lavender scent afterwards intoxicating him further.
“R-Ryoji…” And, just like that, the fog of lust was lifted by the distressed tone of the blue-haired man’s whimper. “Mina? Why do you sound so sad all of-” Ryoji didn’t need to finish his question. Because, when he lifted his eyes to look back up to his lover’s face, the pained grimace and tears he saw answered the question. “Funeral lily, what’s wrong?!” Ryoji asked instead as he pushed himself up from the wildcard’s belly to instead reach a hand up to the man’s cheek. Then, his breath froze in his throat.
His fingers. His pale skin, usually the color of a beam of moonlight, was now a sickeningly sticky shade of cherry against Minato’s own fair cheek. A shade that could be tracked down the wildcard’s body until he found the source. The spot where the skin of Minato’s belly had been torn open. A yawning, bloodied maw barely held together by the last few strands of the wildcard’s skin that remained.
For a moment, the sight his funeral lily stained red like this was morbidly beautiful, in that deeply unspoken manner. Yet, the sticky reminder of the blood on his face brought the god back to the reality of the moment. “Ryoji…”
It was Minato’s blood on his face. The crimson color that bloomed across the sheets was his fault. He hadn’t brought his lover any pleasure in exchange for his own. He’d only hurt him. “Ryoji.” The wildcard’s voice called. Muffled by the buzz of blood in the god’s ears as the brunette’s gut twisted and tied itself into knots. “Mochizuki!”
Freed from his dream, Ryoji threw himself out of the bed. Desperate to somehow get away from the copper scent on his skin, only to fall against the sturdy bedroom door before he sank to the floor. With his sapphire eyes barely cleared of sleepy haze as they darted from one corner of the shadow-filled bedroom to the next, the brunette’s heart thundered in his ears. The harshba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump in his chest nearly so loud, that it would’ve drowned out Minato’s voice when he huffed, “Ryoji, what the hell are you doing?” if the midnight-haired man had not moved as he spoke.
Minato?
Sure enough, Minato Arisato sat on the bed. His voice thick with sleep and confused annoyance, but the snow-colored button-up he was draped in seemed...untouched. His shaggy, dark hair was mussed and frizzy, but the wildcard was in one piece. He was perfectly fine.
He was unharmed. Though storm cloud eyes flashed with lightning, those bolts were what allowed reality to trickle back into Ryoji’s brain through the fog of anxiety and the slam of his heart against his ribs. Until, finally, the reaper’s fear had ebbed. “Ryoji.” Minato said in a firmer, yet suddenly kinder, voice that snapped the brunette out of his thoughts to look at his suddenly-softened partner. Why is he so nice all of a sudden?A dumb thought, for sure, because it surely wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that something must’ve been wrong with the god of death to have him huddled against the door like a frightened animal. And, despite his bad attitude and sharp tongue, Minato knew when honey was more effective than vinegar. “Nightshade, why did you jump up like that? Are you okay?” The shaggy-haired wildcard asked as he crouched down in front of Ryoji.
Yet, his quiet, gentle words still didn’t seem to be enough to receive an actual response from the half awake Shadow. only tears. “Hey, hey shh. You’re okay, Nightshade. It was just a bad dream.” the wildcard swiftly soothed, his hands moved to cup Ryoji’s round, soft face and swipe his tears away with his thumbs.
There was no fear. No hesitation to touch Ryoji and pull him from the sharp claws of his hysteria. “I’m so sorry!” The brunette finally sobbed, unable to tell whether the apology was for his dream, or the tears he couldn’t stop when they poured down his full cheeks and over his lover’s hands. Not that the reason mattered, though, to anyone but Ryoji. “Why are you apologizing? All you’ve done is startle me and have a bad dream.” He pointed out, the brunette only able to continue bawling as he stammered on uneven breaths, “I-I didn’t- I didn’t mean to h-hurt you.” Yet, Minato only continued to soothe him. “Nightshade, you had a nightmare. I’m fine, you haven’t done anything to me, see?”
As he spoke, the midnight-haired wildcard moved his hands from the distressed god’s cheeks to instead grab his wrists and put his hands on his hips. The warmth in his voice, the intimacy of the soft skin beneath Ryoji’s palms once more, with no fear or hesitation, only trust. Seemed to be the final anchor the brunette needed to fully realize that his dream wasn’t his reality. So, the brunette was slowly able to pull free of the self-imposed, irrational guilt and just curl around his lover. “I’m so sorry...for scaring you.” He eventually mumbled into the lavender-scented skin of Minato’s neck while the wildcard threaded his fingers through the brunette’s hair. Now sat in the god’s lap, with an arm draped around his shoulders and a thread of amusement in his chuckle, “It’s okay, Nightshade. I’m honestly sort of endeared that your worst nightmare is hurting me.” which, earned a weak giggle from Ryoji before the two settled into a comfortable sort of silence.
Eventually, they would likely move back to bed. But, for the moment, Ryoji simply buried his face in Minato’s scent to replace the stench of blood and distract from how vivid the moment had felt.

The Space Between - Official Post
So... the reveals for the Rare Male Slash Exchange (RMSE) finally happened today, so here I am sharing the three fics I wrote for it!
All three fics are in my Masterpost and my Mizuka's Odyssey series!
So... I wrote for Dracula, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Persona 3! [links go to AO3 - all three fics are rated M and have 1000 words]
This fic is particularly special, because my assignment was none other than my friend, Bleep (@bleepbloopbotz)! We share quite a few fandoms and ships, including Megaten! I've always been a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei mainline series, along with Persona 3 and 4... and with Persona 3 Portable, the female MC, and the slew of male romantic interests and social links, this was a perfect match!
Title: The Space Between
Fandom: Persona 3
Ship: Arisato Minato/Sanada Akihiko, Minato & Minako
Rating: Mature
Category: M/M
Word Count: 1000 words
Summary: Minato follows his connection with Akihiko through space.

Persona romance routes are all pretty bad but damn they really hit rock bottom with p3p femc route like the misogyny is very blatant and it’s almost hilarious like look at the Shinjiro romance. When you do his social link he’s like very clearly respectful of Kotone as a leader and explicitly says stuff like "oh yeah you’re clearly the best fighter we have, I don’t really know much about fighting like you do, I hope I’m not dragging you down, you’re doing a good job as leader just remember to take care of yourself, everyone looks up to you I know you can rely on them" etc. like he has faith in her leading abilities. But then when you romance him he’s like got dialogue like "bwah bluh i gotta look after you because you’re a GIRL and you need to stick by me, a big strong MAN so you don’t get hurt" and "don’t wear that revealing outfit in front of other guys 👺" and it’s like. Does he respect her or not and also like it doesn’t make sense for him to look down on her for being a girl cuz he literally has never not been led by a girl leader during his time in sees and Mitsuru in particular really has her shit together when it comes to being responsible and a good fighter and she’s always known the most about Tartarus
It’s also like. Idk maybe its just me I’m not a girl so FUCK IF I KNOW but to me the appeal of romancing Shinji is the fact that he’s sweet and sensitive and gentle and has respect for you despite the fact that he acts all scary. That’s like, what made me like this character in the first place. But the writers seem to think what women want is for a BIG STRONG MAN to protect them because they are just DELICATE WOMEN who are inferior in every way it’s like. Shut upppp thanks
#persona#persona 3#shinjiro aragaki#this is soooooooo obviously not the only romance route that sucks in this game yall know which one im referring to 🤨#and i actually tend to think of the shinji romance as the best one in the series cuz at least his confession scene is the only unique one#that really highlights who he is as a character and goes with the story#but ughh just idk its so annoying how the writers cant decide if hes sexist or not its really weird and its like#really shows how poorly the writers think of women playing their game its like all the romance options are trash and then your boyfriend is#sexist to you and its so clearly done in a way thats supposed to be romantic which is. ew#like idk if my partner was like talking about how i need to stay close to them because im a weak girl and they are strong man#especially when im literally the leader of the team and have been doing perfectly fine thus far and am clearly the strongest here#id simply run him over with a bulldozer#and its like this will all the guys in this game its like girl shut up and eat glass#meanwhile when youre a male protagonist your gf will kiss your ass to the point its infuriating#and their character arcs can never be too grand cuz then they might not wanna fuck you if they realize they have worth#uh sorry my brain is all over the place basically i hate persona romances lol and i hate how they wrote shinji in his#like dammit i dont want him cuz hes gonna protect me like a man i want him cuz he isnt great at fighting and prefers cooking and puppy dogs#and has respect for me and trusts my judgement and asks me to talk about my life and interests and smiles sweetly#but god forbid a woman in this series be respected i guess

Ring, ring
This, like the last post lol, is inspired by the prompt list I currently have for a potential yandere prompt list I’m debating throwing out. This one is based on the prompt ‘creepy calls’ and comes from my stalker/serial killer au for some funsies <3
CW: Stalking, mentions of breaking and entering, generally kinda dark.
“God damn...stairs.” Minato grumbled as he made his way up his apartment building’s creaky, poorly lit stairway with his groceries in his arms. “If they bothered getting that fucking elevator fixed, I wouldn’t be nearly breaking my neck just to get god damned food.” Yet, it was only natural that his grumbling went unacknowledged, as he was alone in the discolored, wet-carpet-smelling hallway that led down to the chipped and cracked door that Minato called his. Once there, the dark-haired emo put down some of his bags to fight the jammed door open.
The small apartment that Minato called home wasn’t anything to brag about. The smoke-stained walls were thin enough that he could hear his neighbor’s television almost perfectly clear, cramped, and, most importantly, it was cheap. The tile in the tiny slice of a kitchen was cracked and discolored like the front door, with a small fridge that Minato stocked with his groceries. Then, he moved to the living room, which had sticky carpet and a perpetual smell of dust, but he could deal with that, especially after the slog that was his grocery trip. So, with a sigh, the shaggy-haired boy flopped onto his couch, his television flicked on to fill the silence and stifle the sounds of his neighbor’s show.
At least, until his cellphone rang with a telltale cartoon criminal laugh. The ringtone he assigned to Ryoji Mochizuki.
Minato’s stalker.
Though, instead of a normal person’s terror in that situation, the shaggy-haired emo just sighed in annoyance and answered the phone. “What.” He answered blandly. “Awww, so mean to me, funeral lily.” Ryoji pouted through the phone, “Can’t you just pretend to be happy to answer my calls?” “No.” the blue-haired man said blandly, “Considering you threatened to break in if I don’tanswer these stupid fucking calls, I have no real reason to be happy to talk to you.”
At Minato’s remind of that factor, Ryoji groaned in annoyance. “God, you make it sound like I make you talk to me at gunpoint, Mina.” “You kinda do.” “I do not. You can always ignore my calls and just lock your door. How is that ‘at gunpoint’” The brunette argued, which only made Minato roll his stormy eyes as he sat up on his couch. “I repeat, threats of breaking in. My parents always locked the doors at night, yet you still got in there like the cockroach you are.” Minato argued back, getting a bright laugh out of the man, “Okay, you got me there. But you still can’t hide that you just enjoy talking to me~” Ryoji teased, his words enough to earn a dark scowl from Minato.
On some dark level, the emo knew his stalker was right. Ryoji had basically forced Minato to chase off all of his friends or risk them being killed in the crossfire, so, these morbidly casual phone calls were the only real source of socialization Minato had left. But, whether he was lonely or not, he wasn’t about to admit that to the infatuated nutjob. “Why do you even call me? You follow me around everywhere I go, it’s not like we can chat about how my day was.” He huffed, the unacknowledged point left between the two men like a rotten chunk of meat. “I just like hearing your voice, funeral lily! It makes me feel less lonely.” Ryoji hummed simply, dark amusement woven into his words, as if he knew the deepest of Minato’s unspoken thoughts. “But! I actually do have things to do today, like you, I’ve gotta go grocery shopping, so~” He sang, “I’ll call you tomorrow, love you, dear.”
With that, Ryoji Mochizuki hung up, and Minato was left alone in his cramped, smoke-stained apartment once more. Only the television to keep him company, now.

Sunday Morning (with you)
(A Shinjimina drabble)
Fandom: Persona 3 Character(s): Shinjiro Aragaki, Male Persona 3 Protagonist, Koromaru Ship: Shinjimina Word count:675 Support on AO3
It was late morning on a Sunday when Minato finally stumbled out of his room, alive to the rest of the world. Normally during the rest of the week Minato was up bright and early, his day jampacked with activities, so Sunday was the one day he could laze about and sleep in (and he still felt like it wasn’t enough time for him to sleep, considering all he had to do and the Dark Hour happening every night).
Everyone else in the dorm were real “go-getters” which meant that left Minato all alone without all the early risers-
“Coo, coo~ Who’s a good Koro-boy? Are you a good Koro-boy? Yes you are! Aww!”
-Except for moments like these.
Minato held in a laugh and quickly ducked behind the wall, not wanting to get caught. Carefully peeking his head out, Minato saw Shinjiro on his hands and knees, playing around on the ground like a dog with Koromaru.
Minato bit his lip, trying so hard not to make any noise while watching the two of them play, not wanting to face getting caught and being at the brunt of Shinjiro’s wrath.
“Korooooo…… I’m gonna getcha! Bah!” Shinjiro pounced on Koromaru and Koromaru yelped in excitement before jumping away, prancing in a circle around Shinjiro and daring him to try and get him. Shinjiro laughed happily and his eyes followed Koro as he danced around, then they suddenly went wide, and Minato knew he’d been caught.
Shinjiro couldn’t say anything, he just started coughing in shock and Minato couldn’t hold back his laughter anymore. It started as a giggle, then became a snicker, before it was a full on cackle-gut-buster, and Shinjiro’s face burned in embarrassment. Koro simply sat and watched, tongue dangling out of his mouth as he panted happily and his eyes switched between the two of them.
Shinjiro got off the floor, looking at Koro like this was his fault and he'd get him for this later. “Hahaha, laugh it up Minato...”
Minato wiped tears from his eyes, clutching his stomach. “Y-you’re so cute SHinjiro-senpa-hahahaha!”
Shinjiro’s face burned even more and he pulled his beanie down to hide his face.
Minato, trying and failing to contain his laughter, swooped in and wrapped his arms around Shinji and held his middle tight, resting his chin on his shoulder and laughing into it every so often.
“Aww, Shinji-senpai, stop being so cute. I can’t take it.”
Shinjiro sighed and ripped his beanie off, mussing up his hair and looking at Minato with a pouty glare that the second year decided not to comment that looking like that only made him cuter.
“Why is it that whenever you overhear me it’s always me saying some dumb, embarrassing shit?”
Minato smiled. “Because you’re cute and I’m sneaky.”
Shinjiro made a face. “Well, at least one of those is true…”
Minato pecked Shinjiro’s cheek with a kiss. “They’re both true, and you know you’re even cuter to me when you pout.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever…” Shinjiro tried to wave Minato off and Minato just smiled because he knew Shinjiro was just trying to hide how happy he was, shy about his emotions as always.
Relenting his teasing, Minato let go of Shinji and stood, offering his hand. “C’mon, I’m sure Koro still wants to play. Let’s do it together, senpai.”
Shinjiro grinned and took Minato’s hand, allowing himself to be pulled up, and when he was on his feet he sneaked a quick kiss on Minato’s lips, laughing into his mouth when he made a surprised squeak.
“You’re not the only one who’s sneaky, Minato.”
Minato felt a competitive spark ignite in him and a devious smirk took over his face. “Oh, it’s on, Aragaki.”
“Right back at ya, Arisato.”
Shinjiro growled playfully and lifted Minato up and Minato yelped and laughed and Koromaru yapped loudly and chased them and together they played on the lazy, pleasant Sunday, and later they were found by the rest of the dorm in a cuddle pile on the couch, all played out.
