Today is Marle Day (March13), so, here is a special Puyo Puyo Quest card for the day!

36th Marle Does Things (The 7th Saga edition)

(Long post alert !)

Hi everyone !

For this 36th Marle Does Things , Dark Marle is back to her evil plans !

And for this plan, she becomes a boss for a video game I discovered recently and loved, The 7th Saga !

I want to address a big thanks to @rabbitriceballll , who had made her statistics.

Note that in the universe of the Marle Does Things, the ominous pendant does not exist and only Dark Marle exists (After all, my Marle is Dark and doesn't intent to become good ! 😈)

The 7th Saga © Enix / Produce!

Now, all the details :

1 : Marle's here !

The player can select an 8th apprentice at the beginning of the game, Dark Marle, if they do, they play the story the same way but after having beaten the final boss, they must fight the 7 other apprentice (in a random order).

After that, Marle uses the power of the 7 runes to assert dominance over the world.

(So choosing Dark Marle opens an "evil route" of the game...)

If not, like in the three pictures of this Marle Does Things, the player can fight and recruit Marle like any other apprentice (and she would have the Dark Marle stats from @rabbitriceball) but her chance to betray the player is 5% after each fight (witch is way higher than any other apprentice).

If Marle is fought (as any other apprentice), her stats are from the level 50 and roughly doubled. She is (as any other enemy apprentice) immune to vacuum and debuff spells.

She will also be immune to all thunder spells.

But, the most important twist is that she WILL betray the player at the game's end.

2) When the Vicious Circle strikes

So, after beating the final Boss, and just before the latter can kill the player's character, Marle will arrive to finish it (Or will just finish it if she has been recruited) and will take the 7 runes)

Then, if she has been recruited, she will offer the player to join her, if they does, the "evil end" from the Marle's route will take place (as if the player have chosen Marle).

If not, Marle will attack the player's team (if she was recruited, a random apprentice will join the player at the same level as their character).

And so, she will be the true final boss form the game, and that is the fight depicted in the 3 pictures of the Marle Does Things !

In this final fight, Marle is battled at level 80, regardless of the player character's level and all her stats are roughly quintupled.

If the player manages to beat her, she will retreat (but stay well and alive in the State of Keys and kill the player character (like the "normal" final boss).

3)The aftermath and a word to @rabbitriceball :

If the player manages to beat Marle, she will retreat (don't worry, my Dark Marle is immortal) in the State of Keys and the normal (good) ending will take place, the world is saved.

A word to @rabbitriceball :

Thank you a lot for having written Marle's statistics for the 7th Saga, I found the idea of the ominous pendant very interesting and if I worked on the game, I definitely had included it , as the idea of the stats and damage type changing depending on Marle's form is a formidable concept.

Unfortunately, that doesn't fitted in the universe of the Marle Does Things, where my version of Dark Marle (aka my Marle plushie) is purely evil and cannot be redeemed by any mean, thus making Light Marle inexistent (after all, a plushie cannot change form... And mine wouldn't want to, even if she could ! 😈).

But, one again, I found your concept of bringing a little versatility on Marle's character wonderful.

The Final Boss' game (with a little prize) !

Hi everyone !

For this new year, I would like to play a little game with you all !

The star of the Marle Does Things, as the final Boss in my homebrew Dungeons and Dragons campaigns needs YOUR ideas to create a boss for my next campaign to help her to crush the heroes !

The game is simple !

Give me ideas in order to create a boss for my next campaign !It can be anything (SFW), even a single mechanic or a complete random detail ! Everything's good !

The game is open until February the 11th (and this post will be pinned on my account for the duration of the game). Then, I'll choose the ideas I prefer...

My favourite (or most contributive) idea will be rewarded a picture of the star of the Marle Does Things signed by my hand !

I intend to make a CR 20 monster, it's stat block will be published one written.
