Galaxy Con Columbus Photos

We begin with the biggest reason for us going to this con: Marty Grabstein, voice of Courage the Cowardly Dog! We *had* to dress as Eustace and Muriel and were so thrilled by the reception! Thank you to everyone who got a photo of us!

Next are some cosplayers I got some photos of/with. Like I said, tag yourself if you're in any of these! I'mma start with pretty much the only Urahara *anything* I saw at the convention. Barely any merch of him either save for an absolutely precious keychain I managed to find, but hes my favorite character from Bleach, so seeing this lovely cosplayer was super rad!

Gotta love seeing some Donnie Darko representation, too.

And here are some photos from a Resident Evil photoshoot (I was entirely biased towards the Village group, sue me). Not a big group, but so much fun to chat with the Heisenberg after. Though I wasn't cosplaying anything for this, I did have my Heisenberg plushie and body pillow, which made for a couple of silly photos.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a ton of pictures on my phone past these. Muriel's apron doesn't have the deepest pockets and I was trying to have as little on me as possible for authenticity.

Anyway, I'mma close this out with what was - without question - the most surreal part of the weekend for me at least:

Was not at all expecting to see my favorite artist, Shawn Coss, just kinda hanging out at the con. The circumstances were kinda perfect, too. We chose not to cosplay for Sunday and just wore our chill out clothes for the drive home instead, and I just so happened to have worn one of my favorite SEETHER shirts. It was so cool and definitely made this con all the more memorable.

This was such a good time. Still reeling from a lot of it and definitely looking forward to my next day off so I can actually rest. lol I could probably post some pictures of our haul, but this took long enough to put together so...maybe later.

Ok probably no one gonna give a shit but I just went to my first convention and it was fuuuunnnnn!!! and Im not cofterbul to show my face on here so...sorry? But yeah got some really cool stuff. I met tom kenny to just forgot to take a picture (btw idk if we were allowed cuz security could have been on my ass lol) but yeah he was nice and same with with marty grabstein (btw he let me behind the table so I can hold courage down that while he signed it he signed it twice actually because he didn't like the way he signed it first lol very cool guy) With Tom getting autographs were expensive like $75 and since I'm poor I can't afford two autographs but my brain some reason thought what if I just mention it and the plush was a spyro plush he siged cat dog. I mentioned it and he stared at me and then he he grabbed it and signed it even though technically I had to pay a hundred and $120 for that so it's $75 is kind of more worth it. Thnx you Tom and Marty for being awesome.

(Fun fact I jokinly mentioned the Lost version of Sailor mouth and ask Tom if Nickelodeon was ever going to release it we both laugh. We both really want to see it but obviously we both know that it's probably deep in the Nickelodeon vaults lol)

I had to look her up because she's one of the few voice actors I don't know by name (ashamed). Rest in peace, Granny 😔

Also, the crossover was...??? Idk? I guess on par with regular Courage stuff but weirder than usual for Scooby Doo. Eustace's rapping was painful to watch for sure. Just FYI, this doesn't mean I hated it, I love "cringey" stuff haha.

Also Marty Grabstein seems like a cool guy

Yesterday I went to collage station comic con and it was awesome and I managed to get four autographs from four different voice actors, which is Marty Grabstein, Dave B Mitchell, Kari Wahlgren, and Quinton Flynn.

When I met the voice of courage the cowardly dog he hugged me and my dad, no kidding, oh and Kari wahlgren was super nice.

I might even get these framed and hanged up in my room.

So I was at Atlanta Comic Con this past Saturday and it was really early, I hadn't finished my Monster yet, and this weird GUY walks kind of behind me absolutely screeching about something or other, and it ended with "IT JUST LOOKS LIKE I'M SEEKING ATTENTION" etc whatever I don't remember, like I said, it's early. And this guy was filming him and I'm like... must be some crazy YouTubers or some shit yk. But then this guy finishes his bit and walks back to one of the... voice actor tables??? And then I realized.

That was FUCKING Marty Grabstein doing a BIT right in front of me. I'm sure I'm on that video somewhere in this guy's camera roll giving him the most intense "what the fuck stare" and I deeply regret not showing Marty more respect and admiration. Mornings amiright?

Charity Raffle

In addition to the Charity Auction we are going to have a Charity Raffle for some items as well. This is a way to raise some more money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention WV Chapter. Plush 7 courage the cowardly dog

Got at (goodwill then signed) at the convention I went to in October and yes this is authentically signed by Marty Grabstein so this is probably worth somemoney so when I die it goes for sale I guess

Also Marty was so sweet. He even let me behind the table so I could hold down courage, so he could sign him better. :D I think I was at that booth for like an extra 5 minutes just trying to find a good area to sign the poor dog at lol. He ended up just signing courage all over his body like tattoos.

Ill always remember that day🥹
