Yo I am so sick of Under the Oak Tree as a series, the ML Riftan is irrationally angry all the fucking time any time his wife speaks to anything that isn’t just lying still for him to fuck her and absolute reverence for him. He reads as a sexist mega controlling red flag trying to disguise it with the excuse of protection. And puts his wife down by calling her useless and unhelpful while he’s at it. You’re telling me after 109 chapters and the six billion arguments they get up to about this exact problem he doesn’t get better about it AT ALL?

0/10 ML, he’s fucking trash.

At the very least the shitty ML’s who realize their wrong doings after their wife leaves them and try to change to win her back are doing SOMETHING OF PROGRESS. They still don’t deserve forgiveness, but at least they’re TRULY AND DEEPLY REGRETFUL

Maxi fully expected him to bring out the whips and chains - or worse, to beat her with his bare hands - and she wasn’t sure she would be able to take it.
