i adore spock’s and bone’s relationship so much. bones says he dislikes spock and of course spock tries to act as indifferent to bones as he can but its so obvious they love and care for eachother. spock is incredibly happy to see bones in A City on the Edge of Forever and of course bones is happy too see him and jim too. bones would go out of his way to save spock and spock would do the same for him. spock plans to sacrifice himself for bones safety in The Empath and bones injects him to switch places, which is so stupid and i love him for it.

these bits are obvious but nice to think about: spock wants bones to be there when they go to vulcan and they request eachother for teams when they have to beam down to a planet. they spend lots of shore leave together <3. they have their banter and they have their little fights but they hold so much empathy and love and care for eachother and of course this includes jim aswell.

its so adorable i love silly little enemys in love.

mccoy always teases spock about keeping his feelings tucked away and not let them affect him (although we all know they do), and how it prevents him of living life to the fullest. spock has got to do it because he was treated as different all his life for being only half vulcan, so now he's gotta be at least two times more vulcan so other vulcans will start to consider him one of theirs, even though he will never be the same as them. but actually, mccoy himself keeps his heart guarded because his life is unbearable. he hates space, travelling in space, being in closed environments, he didn't even want to be a doctor, suffered a hard divorce and left a daughter behind. mccoy has got to guard his heart every minute of every day, cause otherwise he would suffer. mccoy teases spock for what he himself does every single day, because he knows you could live like that, but in his eyes it's so much better to experience life to the fullest, especially if what you do in life gives you joy and purpose. he doesn't want anyone to live like he has to if they have, in his eyes, a better alternative

Thank you to everyone who’s supported my McSpirk bullshit 😭 I love drawing these spacemen so much they make me so happy I can’t describe it. Here’s my personal designs and head canons for the boys.

Kirk is genderfluid and bi, Spock is agender and gay, and I think it would be really funny if Bones keeps insisting he’s straight because Kirk and Spock are both nonbinary but let’s be real bro is bi as hell. I tried to keep pretty close to their canon heights and ages while injecting a bit of my own head canon ;) they are all in love and married. This is also canon.
