russian cyrillic alphabet for anyone who asked! it's gonna be hell of a ride but that's what you asked for kekw

So the cyrillic alphabet was based on the greek alphabet just like the latin alphabet and therefore theres a lot of greek letters in russian

disclaimer for reading rules (you can skip this part)

i need to mention that the russian letters denote sounds but in russian theres such a phonetical phenomenon called reduction and you can hear this as a part of russian accent in english when bed sound like bet, fog like foc, sob like sop etc (b, d, g & others at the end -> p, t, k). Also o, a, e vowels are pronounced differently in different parts of the word... And sadly for russian learners the stress on the words is flexible and changes bc of different reasons. And theres no way you can see stress marks on the words except if youre looking at them in the dictionary.. yeah. So if the pronunciation doesnt make sense thats why

There are 33 letters in russian alphabet. P.s. ['] means its a soft, palatalized sound, like british l in a word village

Аа - basic, its the 'ah' sound (Алфавит [ahl-fah-v'EEt] -> alphabet)

Бб - the capital letter looks like B without the head and the lowercase one looks like 6 for some. You were right when you thought that it looks like B because its the 'b' sound! (Буква [bOOk-va] -> letter, краб [crahp, no not crap] -> crab)

Вв - looks like B, right? that's a v. Imagine it like this emoji :B this silly lil guy looks like theyre saying vvvvv. (Вишня [v'EEsh-n'ya] -> cherry)

Гг - upside down L, its actually g, like a Бумеранг [boo-m'ee-rAHnk] -> boomerang. Another example, Гость [gohst']

Дд - that's a weird looking one, looks like a house and its Дом [dohm, not dom] in russian. Another example, друг [drook] -> друг

Ее - yeah. the pronunciation is yeah (Ель [yel'] -> spruce/christmas tree, деревня [d'ee-r'EHv- n'ya] -> village)

Ёё - the yeah brother! yo lmao (Ёж [yozh] -> hedgehog) its always stressed so no problems with that. btw if you ask me its the most hated letter. ppl dont put it where it should go and just leave e! wtf! its ё т-т)

Жж - looks like a bug and sounds like one. its zhhhh like in the word garage (Жук [zhook] -> bug, гараж [gah-rAHsh] -> garage, see the reduction there?)

Зз - ah yes the number 3. its the z sound actually (Змея [zm'ee-YA] -> snake, образ [OH-brahs] -> look, image, outfit)

Ии - backwords N is actually a vowel, its our ee sound! (Игра [EEg-rah] -> game)

Йй - и brother, the short и. its y- (Йогурт [yOH-gurt])

Кк - straight up k, always and ever, no example cuz its the same in every position and pretty straightforward

Лл - um... its an L.. idk how you should remember that... (Люстра [l'YOO-strah] -> chandelier]

Мм - an M (Медведь [m'eet-v'EHt'] -> bear)

Нн - you cannot laugh like that in russian, it would be not hahaha but nanana (Банан [bah-nAHn] -> banana]

Оо - oh (Облако [OH-blah-koh] -> cloud)

Пп - p sound (Папа [pAH-pah] -> papa, dad)

Рр - thats not p, its r (Русский алфавит [rOOsk'iy AHl-fah-v'eet] -> russian alphabet]

Сс - not c but s (Собака [cah-bAH-kah] -> dog)

Тт - T

Уу - not y but more like u/oo (Уже [oo-zhEH] -> already)

Фф - impaled o, almost like Q, yet it is ph/f (Фит [f'eet] = Fit)

Хх - never an x, its a h! xaxaxaxa

Цц - upside down п with a tail? erm alright its a ts (Цирк [tsyrk] -> circus)

Чч - upside down h, ch! (Что [shtoh] -> what, more like an exception; Человек [ch'eh-loh-v'EHk] -> person, human being, also чел is the way we say dude, also чувак [ch'oo-vAHk])

Шш - шшш quiet its a sh (Душ [doosh] -> shower]

Щщ - soft sh, sometimes transliterated as tsch or shch. jesus christ (Щека [sh'ee-kAH] -> cheek)

Ъъ - you cant pronounce that. its the glottal stop so you pronounce some sounds separately. like british water you would spell it with ъ in theory, waъer (Съел [s-yel] -> he have eaten; if there wasnt a ъ it would be pronounced [s'ehl] which mean he has sat down. different meaning)

Ыы - okay thats a tricky one. make this face 😬 and now make a sound. thats ы, ive marked it as y in the square brackets (Мы [my] -> we, us)

Ьь - cant pronounce that too. this one denotes the softness of the consonant sound

Ээ - ay without the y (=Эй)

Юю - you (Юбка [YOObkah] -> skirt)

Яя - ya, not backwards R (Яблоко [YAH-blah-koh] -> apple, Pommie ^_^)

some tips on transliterating:

ENGLISH w is generally у, can be в. q is к (qu is кв), j/g is дж, x is кс, h is г in the begging of the names/foreigh words like hannibal is ганнибал

SPANISH ñ is нь, pls google other cases

PORTUGUESE nh is нь, lh is ль, pls google other cases

general advice try transliterating like Fit -> Фит, so every letter/cluster of letters in the original language correlates with similar letter in russian. but in french portuguese and spanish you have to pay close attention to pronunciation, more than to the spelling cuz Ricardo will be Рикардо for spanish but Рикарду for portuguese etc etc

I know wives and gf talk isn't for everyone so asks under a cut - and I hate the term 'wag' so I'll start tagging these 'f1partnertalk' for those who want to bl!

right??? and the fact that in his Australia tourism type video with her he refers to her as his 'partner' which to me is both him being socially minded but also respect bc by that time they'd been together 3 and a bit years!

and exactly !! on the one hand he's not using her as a status thing of 'look I have a gf' but he's also made the very smart decision (and I think this was the Webbers influence) of not having her be a secret or a mystery. her acc going private is pretty normal for F1 gfs who aren't using their profile for business but the fact that he casually reminds people about her and that she'll like certain content posted about her or them is enough to stop anyone thinking she's 'fake' or whatever. there were some feeble attempts to claim they were broken up just bc she didn't go to many races but when folks pointed out she was in final year of uni for a very difficult degree it died down.

gotta say though - and this isn't in reply to you it's an aside about comments I see - I find the straight people thing of jumping to theories about marriage for long term relationships SO weird. it's like there's this ticking time bomb for het relationships lol. it's esp weird since they're so young and his career requires him to be so selfish (his and Lando's words) that I'm like how do ppl see that and leap to them marrying buying a house and planning kids when they not only don't live together yet they also spend most of the year apart??? sure they're super mature and stable for their age but who I am now and who I was during hs and college has been so incredibly different! I couldn't imagine making that huge a commitment esp if I had an all consuming career like Oscar does. I just hope those comments (however well meaning) don't reach them bc that feels crazy over-stepping and would be so awkward to read.

(this is the post anon refers to) oh anon. idk if you've seen them but have a look through here to enjoy Oscar's 8-year little crush on Lando and I think it's safe to say that Lily will at least have had an inkling about it.

and the thing is that being physical just isn't Oscar's way even with Lily which if Lando was at all hmmmm about then he'll have seen that pretty early on. as anon listed above, Oscar shows his affection for people by including them when he talks about his life (which Lando also gets!) also acts of service and signs of respect (which Lando also gets!)

this is me projecting here but idk the way Oscar talks about the boarding school guys he's still friends with and his friends back in Oz but doesn't post about them or have them to many races just makes me think that Oscar decided very early on to just avoid the distraction of sharing himself on social media apart from memes? he's never wanted to establish any kind of online persona and he got really solid a levels as a backup in engineering if F1 didn't work out so he's never planned to be a public person anyway.

where I'm going w that is that Lando will absolutely by now have learned all of this about Oscar. Oscar will like and respond to content about Lando but most of what Lando gets from him will be the acts of service and signs of respect. which is exactly what Oscar does with Lily, his family, Mark, etc. Oscar's own content will be about generically positive stuff re McLaren and the occasional funny post (like P1,P2,P6?). but the people he considers his most inner circle will stay largely off the map. which lbr is what Lando himself does with a lot of his closest friends! especially since his fame began to grow he's stopped posting a lot of those people and we only hear them bc he mentions seeing them. Lando is Oscar's little long harbored 'crush' and Lily is his long term gf. I feel like if that's obvious to us then it def will be for Lando :)

so we can count ourselves incredibly lucky that Lando being Oscar's teammate means we get as much of a window in on them as we do <3

I've begun drafting chapter 4 but I'd be so shocked if I get it written and posted within the next 2-3 days. It definitely won't be a marathon writing session the way chapter 3 ended up being, esp since there are less absolutely-need-to-cover-this-point-in-this-chapter moments in this one so it'll take me a bit longer to flesh out the different scenes. I have very limited writing time this week lol

In other news I was so nervous about how people would respond to Sgaeyl as an AI but it seems like I didn't have anything to worry about! I felt like having her in this form was the best way to stay faithful to the FW source material while still writing in an alternate universe with no magic. Think of SGAEYL as JARVIS/KAREN/FRIDAY, but with a lot more personality and emotions. I try to keep my world building as realistic as possible for the world I'm writing in (see my attempts to integrate real-life cipher types even though I know nothing about cryptology lol), but the dragon AIs are incredibly unrealistic, since they'll have a lot more personality/emotions than real-life, or even near-future, AI would have. Normally that would really bother me, but to me it was way more important to find a way to incorporate Sgaeyl and eventually Tairn and the other dragons. I do have a couple ideas for how to integrate this disconnect into the plot, but I'm still fleshing it out.

On that note, if anyone who reads my stuff knows a lot about cryptology or old code breaking methods, please message me! I won't explain why on here b/c spoilers, but there are scenes that I'd like to include that I don't think can write unless I have a much better idea of what I'm talking about. I want to make this as realistic as possible, but also relatively easy to follow for a reader, and there is nothing I hate more than not being able to explain something in my writing.

I'm really interested to hear y'alls theories on what you think might happen as castles crumbling continues. The people I've discussed the plot with told me they didn't anticipate certain aspects of the story, but I've also had readers send me messages in the past straight up guessing plot twists that I could swear no one would see coming. I also want to hear which characters you're hoping to see more of! personally, I'm excited to write more scenes with ridoc and garrick, both on their own but (maybe, theoretically) also together later in the story. I feel like the two of them would actually be good friends once they're comfortable around each other. Idk. maybe that's my wishful thinking since the two of them live in my head rent free. I just want to gab abt my favorite characters with ppl lol its the only thing getting me through this brutal exam season.

I had started so many blogs and deleted them over these 3-4 yrs on Tumblr 😅 but I made my first blog (@demeto-anima) to post astrology incorrect quote, somehow it turned into TR blog, then I started posting my writings on it. When the list of my works started to grow, I made my side-blog @emotioball, then in December of 2022, I deleted both. Then in Jan 2023, I made my beloved @tristitia, on which I used to post my writings on my beloved Taiju, in March I guess, I deleted it too 😭 Now I'm here again, with the same name, but this time posting nothing because I lost that content maker streak in me somewhere back in September of last year 😭

5. what’s the best and worst part of being online/a creator?

The best part is, you enjoy what you create and the sad part it, it hurts when ppl don't appreciate what you made with your whole heart 😔💔 (and also that to be visible, to become a bigger blog, you have to be socially active which on so many occasions I had failed to achieve because I'm scared of talking to someone else outside my circle (which is a semi-circle tbh)

I saw your ask mentioning Chrissy and I hope you don't mind me ranting about her as a character bc I have THEORIES 🤣 I was really hoping to see her in Scream 5 bc she seems like a complex character. She reminds me of Gale bc she seems like a villain, she seems like a neglectful mother and she even attends AA meetings for her addiction problem, but there's more to her than that. Gale seemed like a jerk until Dewey showed that there was more to her than that and it reminds me of what they could do with Chrissy. The drinking problems of Chrissy remind me of Dewey trying to forget his past mistakes 🥺 makes me think Chrissy regrets all of these past mistakes and she's just trying to cope.

According to Sam, Chrissy was "in love with this other guy" and this part really stood out to me bc Christina, from the looks of it, loved Billy. The writers could've been like "Oh, Christina cheated on her bf for the heck of it" just like what they did with Maureen, but they chose to add more depth to it. With Maureen, she didn't love Hank from the looks of it, it was just sex. The Christina situation is different bc for her Billy wasn't just a fling, this was someone she cared about. This is why I think Chrissy and him HAD to have been friends before hooking up bc in order to fall in love you have to know that person...or atleast THINK u know them.

I have faith she'll be in 6 or 7 since she's the reason Scream 5 even happened. I have SO many questions. For example, did Chrissy know what Billy was planning? Or was she completely in the dark? Did Chrissy tell Billy she was pregnant before the party? 👀 Did Billy care or love her? Did Sidney know her from school? Was Billy making promises of 'breaking up' with Sidney to be with her? There's so many questions and the writers said in an article that "It's hard to say, but I think there's an interesting story there" when Christina being cut from Scream 5 was brought up. I'm DYING for answers 😭 especially with how sus Chrissy looked for being gone in 5.

Ik Sid probably knew of her bc in the locker scene in the hallway you can hear someone say "Hey Chrissy!" so I'm sure it was a social thing.

Imma be blunt that I HC Billy didn't care about her bc we even see him flirting with a bunch of girls at the video store (Maybe one was Chrissy but I doubt it especially with how the other girl was looking at him too like they both were fangirling over him and he acted like he could probably care less but still entertaining it) and we saw how he could throw a 2 to 3 year relationship away over petty hateful emotions at her Mom.

I truly think Billy is just a toxic, narcissistic teenage boy that puts up walls and feels superior to most ppl especially in Woodsboro and like most teen boys in the 90s if he can get a girl to put out; he's going to tell her everything she wants to hear. And that it was a fling to him even if she convinced herself they were in love. Even Tatum was like "I knew he was too perfect😏🤭" with a cheeky look on her face on the bed when Sid stayed over so CLEARLY Billy was sought after (He's good looking as hell so I could see why) and any girl he would be with would probably be like "We're in love!" even if he most definitely is not bc every girl in Woodsboro probably wanted him or at least would think about it if he asked. I think that's why that cheerleader and her friend were so vindictive towards Sid in the bathroom bc they were probably jealous she was with Billy tbh.

I'm sure he lied to Chrissy and told her everything she wanted to hear and I HOPE she was left in the dark bc if she was okay with him killing Sid so they could be together than she is just as shitty as he is. And I doubt she told him she was pregnant or even knew at that point. Who knows? She might have even been at the party but I doubt it.

Ngl Billy having a daughter is one of the things I secretly dislike about 5 bc yeah the angst factor is great however it also doesn't make sense! Why would Billy take such a risk on Sidney finding out and calling it off with him before his horror freak mind could take her virginity to kill her? It's such a huge out of character thought process and I kind of hate it being canon bc even tho Billy isn't the best liar he is articulate and careful with everything. I mean, he planned that night for an entire year so why would he risk it?

It's just so many unanswered questions that I really am curious to see Christina and for now I guess fanon is all we have to go by

okay after reading tfota… it’s okay. i understand why it has a fandom and why it’s massively popular in book fandom spaces. i like the way that holly black pushed the expectations of what is typical to the ya fantasy formula (esp w gender roles and genuine character objectives) i liked reading from jude’s perspective knowing that she is also somewhat vile and seeing her not really hold other women’s ‘vileness’ as moral failings. (tbh i think it’s a bit weird to see how much woman readers hate taryn and nicasia… but in general most ppl can’t consume anything w conflict w out assigning blame or projecting moral compass onto their faves but that is for another discussion lmao) (just more thoughts about ya fantasy below and also about how much i love tithe)

my main crit, which isn’t much of a crit, more so a note + preference! is that it is very much closer to a manufactured fantasy. i read some interviews from some fave ya fantasy writers when i was in my late teens and a lot of them mentioned that ttrpgs were essentially writing tools for them. esp after getting into ttrpgs over the past couple of years, all of the ‘plot’ points for TFOTA read as manufactured as such, esp because a lot of Jude’s ‘downtime’ for thinking happened traveling between locations to her next ‘adventure’ plot point. if i am being honest the whole series could’ve been one long book, there isn’t much separation except for time passing. every book did so much build up to a major ‘action’ that occurred in the last couple of chapters with like zero processing space. (TFOTA QoN spoiler: but i wish [redacted] had been a 🐍 for like half if the book rather than 3 days.) I think the ending was alright, but def a bit fast paced for me!

i think this was my first YA series since high school and even back then i had been more interested in poetry and theory. i wasn’t disappointed or anything, but it is very interesting to see how YA writing has evolved for newer teen audiences! and it’s very cool of me mentally to be able to read it and think yes this for teens! contemporary indulgences and pacing for 2018 teens! TBH a lot of 90s/early 2000s YA still hold up for me, they were writing for a different audience!

I enjoyed the Modern Faerie Tales series so much when i picked it up at my local library in middle school. It was so groundbreaking to me that YA fantasy could include elements of reality. Not just *is a regular girl w a normal life*, but more like *working class, strained family relationships, feeling weird and too different, having a bad time* in the way that teenagers do. like my life sucked so bad as a kid and got like a bit better in middle school, and then more fucked up shit happened to me in hs, so it was very cool and nice to read the presence of class. I’ve read bits and pieces of some of her other works, but the removal of class and other issues just feels so defanged to me! idk tithe was written in 2002 but it was just so different. i’m glad HB is successful and people love her stuff, i wish there was more YA fantasy like TMFT where the fantasy isn’t completely removed from the material world. I saw myself a lot in Kaye esp since she was racialized as east asian despite being blonde and a pixie shdhdjsja 😭 and TMFTs will always be my fave for that plus i’m still heavily fixated on TMFTs… I probably still won’t read much YA in the future, but it was nice to visit some recent YA briefly (!! i am a sucker for ✨ faeries ✨) would be into hearing what others think esp if they read mfts first!!

So everyone knows, how tae was eager to show his solo songs to doy nd even get some advice from him.... Be it shalala nd tap, in both of em doy did saw the glimpse of it nd made tae so confident in his solo..how many time have tae mentioned dy, like he watched it nd said it's good..nd made tae confident..... But the moment tae said doy didn't let him hear the songs, the story really changed...

. As we all knw, doy is a perfectionist... Nd his perfection could see in all his songs too..... But he didn't let his best friend see it, who is a senior soloist before him .... Still he didn't... Why you think it is.... Hear is my theory, correct me if I'm wrong...

. Do you remember, when doy said he hates to practice with tae, coz he don't knw what is rest nd he nags while monitoring.... Nd it was the biggest reason for them to fight in rookies days..... So for doyoung, his taeyongie hyung is really a lot above him..am not saying doy is jealous but for him tae is from a lot more diff level than him..... Like doy really respect tae nd consider him as the most great idol in front of him...i don't knw if he said it before, but am sure for some field he must have consider tae as his role model, someone great to learn things from.... But u knw, doy is a perfectionist but also a worrywart... I don't knw how to explain it...if I was in doyoungs position, I would never let tae hear it... Like everyone knows how tae is a 'T' nd he said it himself in yt show with junhwoo, that when members approach him with concerns, how he respond it without any feelings like, why can't u do it, u do it like that...am not saying tae is someone rude nd harsh...but mayb sometimes he won't act the way others want...nd for doyoung,tae is a great artist ,so when great artist says smthng abt his work, rather than trying to change it, persons like doyoung get discouraged,nd lose their confidence sometimes....am not saying its the case, but worrywart doyoung would never want to take the risk i guess....

on the contrary he called Johnny in his shooting at jeju nd also let him hear the song before the release....i dont knw wtvr the beef johndo had in past,, but they have overcome it well, nd dy find comfort in Johnny... Ofcrs like everyone else we knw how Johnny likes to get doys attention, but I'm more got amused abt dy being so close with Johnny.... I knw some must be for the smoothy sail of the ship but not fully.... I can clearly see dy being comfort with Johnny nd even confident to let Johnny hear his songs.... Am not a johndo shipper, even though am a jaedoist now, I came to this fandom as a dotae shipper... Nd it still hurt to knw there won't be any dotae content for next 3 years... So I knw how their bond is nd how they act as a pillar to each other, nd how comfortable they are with each other.... I hope u understand, the comfort I told here dy having with Johnny, is not more than dotae could have....

Even though doyoung would never admit it, but he must have a ranking position with 127 in his mind... I don't knw where he ranked himself, but ofcrs mark nd tae is definitely in higher rank than him... ( one of the recent interview he said it himself, when ppl talk abt nct they could only remember mark nd taeyong, so that's y he mde his solo with the songs of his like, so ppl could knw dy is someone who sings song like this), nd am sure he ranked Johnny below him( not that Johnny is incapable in any manner) coz, dy have this confident with jn,..like u knw....how to explain...am scared... Omg what if my statement make a war here... Huh nim hope u understand what am saying...

Then some ask, mark is in higher rank why he let him collab!! Like u knw its a whole different love story.... I don't knw what dy has with this mark.... He is great nd talented, nd dy does respect him.... Nd dy even want mark to sing rather than rap, which is actually mark likes to do... Nd dy is confident with mark too, cause u knw mark can really talk prettily... Even if he wants to criticize, he will do it very nicely wothout hurting other persons feeling....so may be that's y....

Nd ofcrs doy must be sad that his best friend is not here for his solo release ... Nd now he's having his first solo concert tae couldn't attend😭😭😭.... (God am more sadder than them....) But trust me doy prefer that, rather than he coming on his show.... But this goes to every 127 member, coz u knw he really doesn't like it, when he is doing something for himself, not in group schedule, he likes to do it without the members seeing it.... That's how acted when everyone wants to go for his musical, nd also when ty went to busan to support him.... Doy want him to leave, coz he don't want tae see him acting..... Same goes for how doy rejected, when ty asked him to watch his drama together in a live... (The one live where legend doyoung jealous over baekhyun moment😅😅!!) ~~

Lastly abt him don't let ty feature in his solo, really makes me curious.... Like u knw how many songs ty wrote for them to duet, nd even yestoday he wrote it for him nd doy only.... But from dy's side I don't see an effort to do so... Am not criticizing, but u knw if he want he could make one.... Nd am sure ty must have offered him a collab in his solo nd my Instinct saying me that dy must have rejected it!!! Am a dy stan, but I do think sometimes dy just keep tae away from his matters.... Like not crossing the line.... I don't knw... No matter how settled nd boring married couple jaedo is now, dy must not want to make his bae jealous... May be... I don't knw... I'll let you answer this..... The reason they didn't featured each other in their solos....

Nd for the johndo shippers, who came here asking typical shipping question.... Go nd watch jcc in maldives.... Coz how many times dy ignored Johnny u can see there....(I have watched it 2 times to confirm it) Am not saying dy dont like nd irrespect Johnny that he ignored him.... But u knw for example compare it with all the djj content nd see how attentive was dy with jae in it.... U will see the difference!! I agree with you in some places, and disagree in others.

Taeyong is not a vocalist, so he can't be a person to be "afraid" of. To begin with, Doyoung doesn't have untouchable idols of his own. He has artists he loves and respects, but not those he worships. He asked (the) Taeyeon to future (who is way ahead of Taeyong in years of experience, solo works and vocal provess), approached Lucy band members, he got (the) Kangta to give him a song, and said to (the) Kenzie that he wants to be the one who will sing the last song he will create in her career (very arrogant of him, heh, they are that close then). Here a producer who has known Doyoung since trainee days said how Do came to supervise and make corrections with post-productions of songs.

I think it is about "going solo", having an album made wholly by yourself. Mark wrote lyrics for an existing song. A song Doyoung picked and approached his favourite to ask to do a collab. A song with Tae will be Taeyong's vision, Taeyong's song. Not to mention, Tae was very busy with his own solo albums. There was probably no time to write a song from scratch, and one that perfectionist Do will like. Tae has a lot of experience as a song-writer, a rapper, but little as composer. The sound he goes for, his team of producer friends, do very different genres from Doyoung.

I agree that Doyoung pushes Taeyong for independance. He listened to Tae's songs and supported him, but he evaded giving more than "don't worry, do you". Tae said himself he is indecisive and needs opinions of others, their help. Do was always "throwing a puppy into the water to swim on its own" with him. I agree that Do didn't want any judgement from an experienced songwriter/producer, to not get more worries than he aleady had. And, looking at how Tae always praised Do's writing and singing, I don't think Do would believe him, in Tae being objective and not biased (ah, you are saying nice things because you are my friend). So in the end, Tae's help won't be of help. Again, Tae was in the middle of his own comeback and promotion when Do was wrapping up his album. Doyoung prepared his first solo album as a package deal, all the songs are a part of one "youth" theme (a book). I see why he would like for his friends, especially Tae (who he respects as a musician, yes), to listen to the final perfected result.

The closer people are to Do, the more harsh he can be with them. Doyoung letting Johnny listen to some songs before the debut isn't a sign of how close they are, actually. It's more about Do not being able to refuse this time, afraid to offend (after he did in the past with the muscial, Johnny always complained about Do not telling him things, not giving him tickets), or, as you said, wanting the verbal support but not being afraid Johnny will shake his resolve/opinion in any way (as JN not being high on the totem pole as an artist). Johnny is a good cheerleader, he genuinely supports his friends, is proud of them, a sertified Do's fanboy. He is a people person, he knows how to find words. Other members also mention it.

The boyfriend factor. Is also a good reason for Tae's absence on the album. Mark is in the child category. MarkDo is not TaeDo, there is no co-dependance, Mark is not Jae's rival.

One day Taeyong will win, we will get TaeDo duet, I'm positive. Either as a single, or on the second album.

I LOVED theory of love too !!!!! i was so confused as to why ppl disliked it i'd love to hear what you loved about it if you have time to answer

God analysing that show is chaos for me that requires essays upon essays I'll try for you though.

1. Khai, Khai Khai Khai... The best three dimensional flawed most hated character you will ever love. Khai isn't perfect but the way X and the writers bring him to life, a guy so afraid of love since he's spoilt and has things easy but also always feel alone due to his parents not always being around, and then also being frightened by the idea of being hurt by love like the girls who hurt him or use him each time he tries to be open to that, so he just stays a player. The only people he doesn't want to fall in love with are people he views as friends because he believes love equals pain and loss, and angst, and he can't cope. His character growth is everything, the way he has to learn a hard lesson of how awful he is, and Third doesn't make it easy for him, he has to learn so much give so much and be hurt so much for him to become who he is at the end. And he has a personality, he has passions like film making. God I love him so much. I love them so much.

2. Thirds self discovery and empowerment, the way he had to learn to love himself first before he could be with Khai properly, the way although it hurt to see how much he loved Khai be unrequited he had to deal with that pain, and grow and forgive him, because he was his person from the start. The way he also had a personality, not the nicest but also the most loyal and endearing to the people he cared about

3. UnTwo what should be a plot twist, not part of the book but added in the show, they made them beautifully written, they added red herrings and plot twists and made us think for a second that he would be with Milk his firstlove but the plot twist was that Un had loved him all along for three years! How do you even beat that side couple? In a BL, where straight side couples are always forced. like TOL is the only show where a straight side couple is ruined for good lessons about love and growth for Bone's character, and Two realising how much he loved Un, how much Un was his person what they did for each other, how they worked with each other, the fact they also had personalities apart from the love story?? It's incredible

4. The structure, meta, foreshadowing devices used in Theory of love. The symbolisms of the mug and the necklace, the mug Being Thirds trust in Khai, and the necklace being his hope in their relationship being endgame, like the way they did that, the way they used many movies to foreshadow and shadow the characters, the way they talked about it. Their little movie review videos and how its how Khai knew of third feelings. The structure, the cyclical writing making the list for 10 reasons why Third hate Khai be how Khai wins him back when he tackles all of them and learn about love. The magnificent writing to do with that?? The directing, the music, the skinship??? Like I don't think people understand how 10/10 this show was, how emotionally incredible this show was, best writing in GMMTV, best directing, best music, best ending. I can't if i keep talkiing about this show it would make me mourn Not me because I really believed Not me was going to be better than TOL for me and today just ruined that.

UwU Lugnut,,, what many ppl dont know is actually in fact my favorite TFA Character,,, oh boy do I have a lot to say on him [affectionate]

First impression I thought he was big silly loud man and I loved that tbh <3<3<3<3 I thought he was pretty funny! I enjoyed him a lot <3 I also thought he was kinda interesting but I wasn't paying too much attention to him.

Impression now Lugnut is my favorite character in TFA.... I think everything about him is fascinating and I wish more of the fandom would find a fascination with him beyond joking about him being a simp. I wanna know why he hates autobots so much why he's so dedicated to Megatron! It's all so interesting and I wanna know so much more!!! especially since I think its fair to resent the autobots since their society is really really awful and messed up. I think he's just really cute and entertaining but also very interesting at the same time... Also the gladiator backstory is interesting...

Favorite moment ALL HIS MOMENTS WITH BLITZWING.... <3<3<3 they are so cute... I really love the scene where he punches Blitzwing by accident... And Blitzwing is like "what side are you on??" I love him in lost and found sooooo much him and Blitzwing are soooo cute and I love them a lot <3<3 DO NOT SEPARATE THEM.

Idea for a story

The kinda redemption arcs the fandom gives Blitzwing but make it Lugnut... Give Lugnut a big fucked up backstory on why he hates the autobots, show Megatron using that to manipulate him and then show Lugnut realizing that Megatron never really cared for him or his trauma. THEN HAVE HIM AND BLITZWING GET OUT OF THE CONS TOGETHER AND KISS. While I know I'm a big ol TFA cons stan and personally I like making TFA Megatron,,, like an actual decent person in my writings. That doesn't mean I don't see the potential n interesting aspects of stories that have him as the villain >=3.

Alternatively have it be a tragic story telling a bit of Lugnut's life from his own lens before in Trial of Megatron he is betrayed horribly and like the others merely tossed in the furnace to power the crashing ship after dedicating so much of his life to Megatron.

Unpopular opinion

I don't like Lugnut x Strika, I just dont like that Strika is one of the few female characters in the show who talks and she is found out to be someones wife =/ like we have the One female ROBOT character with speaking roles not in a relationship mentioned in the show and she gets a confirmed husband in the almanac who she is never seen interacting with I JUST DONT CARE FOR IT TBH DSFKGJHDFSGDFG.

Favorite relationship

The one he has with Blitzwing by far! His fun rivarly with Shockwave is delightful but Blitzwing and their little duo is so much fun. ALSO I WILL NEVER FORGIVE ANY OF U FOR CONSTANTLY INCLUDING BLITZWING IN FICS N FANART AND NEVER TOUCHING LUGNUT EVER. LIKE HOW DO U HAVE AN ENTIRE FIC CENTERING BLITZWING AND NEVER MENTION THE ONE BOT HE HAD THE MOST INTERACTIONS WITH U GET AN F- SEE ME AFTER CLASS.

Favorite headcanon

Look me in the eyes this is not a headcanon it is a theory but it is also a hc bc I don't think this was intentional but listen to me. Lugnut is what an actual TFA Empurata victim looks like. Hear me out. Not only has Lugnut unlike Shockwave got the lobster claw look going on but look at his design just in general.

If I was an evil awful government who wanted to scar up a citizen for speaking out or whatever else and I wanted them to look damn near non human, almost monster like. This would be way better than what TFA Shockwave has going on. You've got the five optics, his weird jaw and his big lobster claws. and these are traits unique to him.

Another thing is Lugnut is generally the one who has his looks put down the most in TFA. At least from what I remember. I could be wrong KDJGFDFSGDSFG. Regardless, in my opinion; sure TFA Shockwave could be an empurata victim in tfa, but Lugnut would be a much more effective one. One that actually sort of does its job, Lugnut doesnt resemble like,,, Any other bot in TFA. To them he does look like a monster and just can't emote as well as every other bot in tfa can. But that's okay bc he is cute n Blitzwing's lovely husband and everyone is just too dumb to realize that <3<3 [and also this idea of society seeing u as a creepy freak mayhaps could be something him n Blitzwing grow close over UwU]

Ok the whole thing w/ clogging up ao3 tags is stupid for multiple reasons, like how it fucks with screen readers for one, but the MAJOR issue is that having too many tags isn’t actually a problem w/ ao3

Like seriously guys? There is a lot to criticize. And I say this as someone who heavily relied on fandom spaces to get me through some really really hard times and still loves ao3. I can say I love what it does for fandom while also acknowledging there’s some seriously fucked up shit going on both behind the scenes and with ppl who use the site. It’s literally like saying “I love tumblr but I acknowledge there are literal nazis on here and as a Jew/human with a working brain I hate them and that they’ve been here so long”

Like. I get u think ur sticking it to the man or whatever. And idk I partially agree bc. There’s so much nasty shit and some technically illegal shit that I don’t want to even mention! But ur not even wasting the moderators time or anything ur just being obnoxious and then everyone starts discoursing on tumblr and I’m legitimately tired of it. I don’t wanna see ppl defending gross stuff and I’m tired of talking about the ppl who do defend gross stuff bc I don’t wanna remember that they exist bc I have shit to do irl and not enough space in my brain for them

So. Idk ima propose at least a temporary solution before I have to hear one more argument for or against censorship bc y’all seriously don’t understand how to have a nuanced conversation

How about instead of asking AO3 to take down gross fics (which may or may not be morally correct but will 100% reopen a very over done conversation) instead we ask for some specific plausible things

1) when you use ao3 explicit and unrated fics are automatically filtered out. They do this on ff.net. Yes it may be like 2 extra clicks for ppl who wanna read explicit stuff but ppl who don’t are going to do that anyway, and it protects the people who don’t know to do that and don’t want to read graphic tags. Most importantly it requires consent to browse explicit fics. Yeah you need to give consent to read explicit stuff, but you can look through the incredibly graphic tags/summaries without consenting to anything. It’s literally the default. Which is both upsetting to ppl who don’t wanna see that and also maybe a bit of a legal loophole they should close up

2) a “suggest tags” feature. This would be moderated by authors not ao3 staff. Basically ppl can like..... idk entire a series of tags and you can choose if you want to add them or not. The person submitting them has an option to be anonymous or not. Obviously the author doesn’t have to add every random tag and it might be annoying but it would help with making sure triggers got tagged. It would be helpful if it didn’t let you suggest tags that were already suggested/on the fic but I’m not too picky. Like I said the point of this is to make sure ppl can block stuff properly, and it honestly might also help authors with visibility bc like. Obviously you know the tags you use but you don’t know what tags other ppl look for. Again maybe it may be obnoxious with ppl having a lot of tags but people already have a lot of tags

3) a dispute rating button. Now before someone bitches at me that the ao3 moderators don’t have time to go through disputes- I know I already took that into consideration. Basically the idea is when you dispute the rating the site will ask you what rating you think it should be and anonymously log it. So if someone rated something M but you think it should be an E the site will log that and send a message to the author. The author has a choice if they actually want to listen to ppl and change the rating or not. They don’t actually have to listen to the ppl disputing the rating. Unless they get a certain amount of disputes. I was thinking maybe like 50 or so?* So if 50 ppl say “hey this really needs to have a different rating” then and only then would the moderators take a look at the fic. And the moderators would then figure out what the rating should be.

(*idk if 50 is the right #. I was thinking it should maybe work on like a percentage of your hits in the fic?)

3.5) have a sexual content marker. This is marked as 3.5 bc i feel like this idea if implemented would be misused. But yeah in theory you could just have a sexual content marker that could be clicked by the OP and then automatically filtered. Again you could use the system from #3 but again I feel like ppl would missuse it.

Anyway yeah. I wanted to give some viable solutions ppl on both sides might actually agree with. Like I get not wanting to make concessions with gross ppl, but it’s a lot faster so I’m ok with doing it for now while the rest of y’all continue to debate or w/e

Final note- please for the love of g-d learn how ratings work. Ask someone else’s opinion if you have too. I have seen so many explicit fics marked as mature or teen it’s a legitimate problem. I’ll give a quick rundown of what each rating means but pls guys

General- g- basically go by what you’d see in a Disney cartoon

Teen- pg/pg 13 - there are swears there’s violence, sex may be mentioned, you might call someone sexy or smthn idc, but no one is shown having sex or or discussing/thinking about it in detail

Mature- R - injuries/gore may be described with more detail. Uhh there could be some heavy making out and the characters might talk about sex or feeling sexually attracted to someone. But actual sex is not shown!! If you have to mention or refer to someone’s genetalia in any sexual way you should probably move it up to an E. Even if ur characters are fully clothed the entire time. Also If you’re talking about kinks outside of a quick joke or reference you should probably move it up to an E.

Explicit- NC 17- sexually explicit content. (You can put non-sexual violent stuff under here but most ppl leave it under mature)

TLDR/oversimplification(for the ratings) -

General: nothing sexual

Teen: implied sex

Mature: refrenced sex

Explicit: shown sex

General tldr:

Some criticisms of Ao3 are valid and needed, and some are just stupid and infuriating (specifically talking about the tag thing stop it’s annoying and ableist). There is constant arguments and drama surrounding those criticisms, and I decided to offer some solutions that actually have a chance at getting implemented, even if I would prefer a different option.

summary: Being childhood friends with Oikawa and Iwaizumi had a few perks, it's all worth it when one of those perks came in the form of one(1) Matsukawa Issei.

Where Matsukawa learns what Iwaizumi must feel like all the time.

a/n: mostly set-up (i swear theres a plot), and one groupchat

Matsukawa has not known peace since he created the groupchat with you and Makki.

His notifications have been going off ever since, doesn't matter the day, the place or the time. He knows Makki doesn't pay attention in class but aren't you in a college prep class? Don't you have lessons to listen to? How the fuck have you not been caught yet? The chat was dominated by memes and theories and whatever show was on last night.

He tried muting it once and got so much shit from the two of you (not to mention the amount of inside jokes made within the span of eight hours that he was a little jealous of) that he resigned to having a vibrator as a phone. The only time it was silent was during practice, and even then it was still plagued by you spitballing about your latest conspiracy theories.

Makki just laughs when he looks up from his phone, sending a wink at Mattsun.

"We're going to her house," his smirk is insufferable.

Matsukawa sighs, praying to Iwaizumi for patience.

The next day he sees you on his way to practice, squatting by a flowerbed.

"What are you trying to do, annoy the plants to death?" in a panic, he decides this is the best way to greet you.

"Oh don't be rude, I only annoy those who are guilty and deserving," you squint at him.

"And what exactly am I guilty of? Being irresistably hot?"

"Yep." you pop the P. His eyes widen a fraction, "That's why you're going to baby jail, cause you're a big fucking baby," you turn away to start pruning a plant. He squats next to you.

"The fuck? You know you don't make sense right?" earning him a non-commital response.

A beat passes.

"Didn't take you to be the gardening type."

"Plants can't talk shit about you," you hummed in reply.

Huh. He makes a mental note of the tidbit. Bad day? he wonders, but he’s not sure if the two of you were close enough that you would admit it to him.

“You coming to practice later?” is what he settles for, desperate to fill the awkward air.

“I...I’ll see if I can make it,” his brows raise, your hesitation not unnoticed. You ignore it.

He observes you, how your deft fingers find a browning leaf and carefully remove it from the stalk. The way you bite your lip in concentration, sweat running down your neck. He thinks about pushing the messy hair out of your face and-

“Mattsun! It’s almost time for practice!” he hears Makki shouting from the gym. Every fucking time, he mentally cursed.

“Aight, that’s my cue to go,” he uses your shoulder as support to stand, “see you if I see you.”

“Try not to miss me too much,” you call out as he walks away. But your voice lacked it’s usual bite, he tries not to dwell on it.

You didn’t show up for practice.

It’s only when the four of them make their way to the school gates that Matsukawa sees you waiting. Oikawa goes ahead to give you a hug , (”Yucks! Get off me,”)

“Why didn’t you come down today? I did a super cool serve that you missed,” he pouts.

You give a light laugh, “Sorry, I was busy weeding the flowerbeds and forgot,”

At your response, Oikawa’s gaze softens and Iwaizumi places a hand on your head, voice low, “You okay?”

“I’m good,” you beam, eyes twinkling, “buuuuut, I would feel better if you guys bought me ice cream,”

He hears Oikawa grumble while Iwaizumi just chuckles, agreeing to your request.

As he hangs back with Makki, watching the three of you walk further, he reaches an unfortunate epiphany.

If you don’t even open up when your closest friends ask, what hope did he have of getting close to you?
