to add insult to injury that poor woman who played the meth lab oompa loompa allegedly hasn't even been paid for her time yet. so add wage theft to that events long list of crimes.

Weirdly doesn't surprise me, real shame. Looks like all the actors were trying their best, they were given a (terrible) script the day before and were told their costumes would be ready on the day. Reading the woman's interview she was clearly mortified, and is now owed £500 for the two days.

People are comparing it to Dashcon.

It used AI art and charged $40 for this supposed "immersive experience"...

Then people went in, and got THIS.

The poor kids were crying. They thought it was going to be this magical experience, and instead, they got a mostly-empty warehouse.

Apparently, the cops were even called, and I honestly can't blame them--the single oompa loompa working in a "laboratory" literally looks like a hungover raver in a meth lab.

Still looks better than Dashcon, though.

yes, i've heard of the glasgow willy wonka experience (it was awful)

I've seen a hundred posts about this shoddy hellhole, so that's why I decided to jump on into the hype train.

They didn't even TRY to make it look good. They just threw a bunch of candy props in an abandoned warehouse and called it a day. But most importantly, they used AI to falsely advertise their place to make it look better. The ads are filled to the brim with jumbled text and messed up fingers, because you know how AI is. Also, they even used AI art to create some of the posters seen at the attraction. Disgustang.

Now, let's talk about our wonderful cast of characters: Willy McDuff, the Oompa Loompa Meth Lab Girl, and our favorite villain, the Unknown. For that last one, the Unknown is a whole new character who only shows up in this adaptation of the story. So, how did they come to be? It turns out, they were created by some mindless geeks dabbling around in ChatGPT to create a script. I don't mean to repeat myself, but they're STILL not even trying. These bitches have never heard of imagination and hard work.

Lastly, we must talk about their selection of sweets. They don't have chocolate. How ironic. All they have is limeade, and they give each kiddo a SINGLE jelly bean. Not a few jelly beans, just ONE. Congratulations. You've crushed the dreams of innocent children.

This situation got so bad that the police had to arrive, and that's where we end our story. This was an interesting topic for me to cover! Moral of the story: AI is for pussies.
