I've been busy with loved ones and keeping up with my degrees and hoping to pursue a masters soon. Also been spending a lot of time focusing on myself and my mental health. It's all been so rough but I'm so happy to be back because I missed talking to you all and I think I'll feel so much better if I start posting again.

Hi everyone, long time no see! I'm back and better than ever though on this account. Having multiple emails just got to be a bit too much. I'm still very much Cassidy Jackson, a STEM major who writes realistic fiction as well as dystopian now. I'm a year older, maybe a year wiser and back to bring you full force into me taking over writeblr (I'd never do this, there are too many amazing writers out there!)

Hello...it’s me.

*blows dust off the fics, shelves and the blog* *leaves the cobwebs as a Halloween decoration*  Yes...it’s been a while.

No - I won’t bore you all with the story as to why I disappeared and what happened. All I can tell you was that I was severely burned out. I hit a wall and no matter what I tried, or what I did - I couldn’t get through it or over it. 

It was my body’s way of telling me to take a break. 

It was weird because for me...I’ve always loved writing and being on here and reading and posting content and then suddenly - that desire had gone. I was struggling to get words out, panicking over storylines and trivial things. I was then reminded that for a long time, I have been writing consistently - as well as running multiple other things in my life. I can’t remember a time (albeit one very serious one where there was a loss in my family) where I wasn’t around on here. And i’ve been on tumblr since Jan 2019!  

SO let’s just...stop talking about all that and skip to the good part...shall we? As of this week, my posting schedule is back and you will see a new chapter of Yours to Protect on Wednesday and a new chapter of Lights Out on Friday. 

Over on patreon, there is an exclusive firefighter series, a new halloween oneshot (just posted) and new content coming this week too!  It feels so good to be writing again <3  I hope you are all well, sweethearts. I hope life is treating you good and I am sending you all so much love.

Hello! So…I’ve been gone a while. I lost interest in trying to regress or being a cg and I wasn’t much help to myself or others. I will try and get to my askbox soon. I’m sorry for my absence. I’ve just had a lot of anxiety, social and general. Since I’m back, I’ll start this off with a discussion. What’s your underrated comfort movie? Mine is Dilili in Paris. I’ll say that the character design and voice acting is….mid at best. I love it because Dilili is a lot like me when I’m little and I feel that there is a lot of culture in the movie! There’s a lot to learn about from the movie and the bright colors and music is so cool! I also have a love for Art Nouveau lol currently watching with a bowl of soup and a cup of tea.
