a/n: just a little scenario i thought of while trying to fall asleep! i'm like pretty sure this might be ooc but I can't help but imagine this after seeing the 4.1 trailer!

It’s early in the morning and you’re still dozing off in bed, the warm feeling the comforter provided and the pillows and the bed beneath you felt so soft and comfortable, the white noise that the ac provided, it all felt nice, especially when you’re engulfed in Wriothesley’s embrace.

As much as your lovely boyfriend would love to have a late and lazy morning with you, he really can’t. He needs to be at the Fortress of Meropide early in the morning. Apparently today ought to be busier than most (not like the other days weren’t).

Wriothesley wasn’t in the best of moods, it’s not everyday he gets to spend most mornings with you and every time he thinks he can finally get to do so, it gets stripped away before him. He already has to leave early mornings but he despises it even more when he has to go much earlier, so he couldn’t really help but to get in a foul mood.

He didn’t think it could get any more worse than having to get up early, yet he was in for quite a ride. First, it seems like the shower is much more cold than usual just to spite him, the coffee maker in your shared apartment wouldn’t work properly, he can’t figure out where he placed his other pair of fingerless gloves, there was a small tear in his cape, his hair would not cooperate, and for some reason he couldn’t tie his damned tie.

He sits down on the bed, a scowl visible on his features and he lets out a frustrated sigh as he undoes his tie for what seemed like the millionth time. And like magic you suddenly woke from your comfortable sleep, like you sensed his frustration or something.

You rub your eyes in an attempt to eliminate your drowsiness, you look out the window before looking back at your boyfriend who’s back is facing you. You crawl out of bed and make your way to stand in front of him. You greet him in a soft tone, “Hi there darling.. Want some help hmm?”

He looks up at you and a small smile grazes his face, “ ‘m sorry, didn’t mean to wake you up love, but that would be really nice to get a hand..”

You kiss his forehead before fixing his collar and you do his tie. While you’re doing his tie he can’t help but admire the way you look, you look so ethereal even though it’s early in the morning, he also can’t help but think that the way your morning voice sounds is so hot. He’s too busy admiring the beauty in front of him he hasn’t noticed you’re done, until you kiss him once more.

“There you go darling, all done” you say as you fix his top and you smile at him.

He takes both of your hands in his own and he kisses it, “Thank you so much love..”

You steal another kiss from him before saying, “It’s no biggie, need help with anything else?”

“No no it’s fine love I can handle myself”

“Hmm you also said that last night and look who’s frustrated just a few minutes ago, so lemme come and help, I don’t leave for work until later today anyways.”

He felt so lucky to have someone like you, your mere presence alone calms him down. He stands up and he holds your hand and you help him with the things he stressed on about.

Later that day he bought flowers and had them delivered to your workplace and it has a note which read: Thank you for today, yesterday, and every other day that was and will come.I love you darling.

He’s down bad for you just as you are for him!

a/n: former god reader! mention of god of stars, as well as god of dust aka guizhong but she was mentioned briefly 😭 dw about them

He wasn't ready to bid farewell yet. But it's all part of the journey in the end. He knew something like this would happen yet he wasn't able to prevent it from happening. Even the strongest of shields can't protect those he loved most.

He gazed at your beauty one last time and embraced you, tears slowly falling from his hazel eyes as he closed them he whispered, “I'll look for you in every lifetime until we finally stay so please — come look for me in return my love.”

･｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ.

“Legend has it that the God of Stars was the one who prevented the death of the God of Dust during the archon war but she too soon passed away due to her protecting her people but she will always keep the kindness of the stars with her.” Mr. Zhongli was sitting along with the crowd that was listening to the storyteller, no storyteller has ever mentioned the God of Stars before, not even after their death but this one did, maybe this storyteller is one of their people, he truly was glad that some still chose to remember the power of the said God.

At the mention of your God name he seemed to perk up and look around him as if you would appear at the mention of you but much to his dismay you didn't. But his Hazel eyes found the sight of a familiar path, a familiar bridge.

He quietly excused himself and walked towards the bridge he just saw and to his surprise there was someone there, someone who had a familiar aura and then they turned around.

Zhongli's hazel eyes meet with yours, and time may have stood still for a moment. You stand still before him like a star around him. There's a twinkle in his eyes then — it was yours. How he wishes this moment could be forever.

He slowly walked towards you and so you did as well and as cliché as it was once you're both at the middle an embrace is shared and as soon as your arms wrapped around each other home was found and felt.

Tears, hugs and the meeting of lips were shared and after that Zhongli took a step back and tilted your face to meet with his. His hand is holding one side of your face as he says “You are as beautiful as the day I lost you..”

Your lips met his and all your love seemed to pour in once more, after all those years being apart you can't help but miss him even more. Your lips separated and his thumb reached for your lips and grazed it. Zhongli then whispered softly into your ear the continuation of the words he said all those years ago “I've looked everywhere for you and now.. you're here. I've found you and so have you. This time I hope we stay.”

Not long after the lovely reunion you continue the walk at the bridge and at the end of it the same tree that you and Rex Lapis himself had planted layed there as beautiful as ever, like someone took time out of their day tending to it.

Some golden and rose colored leaves fell from the tree and you walked towards it and sat down with your back against the strong log of the tree. You patted the spot next to you and urged him to sit down and so he did. You leaned your head on his as a joyous sigh escaped your lips. Oh how you've missed all the times you spent with him.

“I can't believe that you're here right now, I can't believe that Rex Lapis, the first man I've loved, is here with me right now. I've been dying to finally see you once again, I thought you would have broken our promise..” you told him as tears start to build up in your eyes but you quickly wipe them away.

Zhongli chuckled and replied “It's Zhongli. I go by the name Zhongli now and I'm the one who cannot believe that the first being I've loved and still do even after I die is here before me. And please don't be dying just to see me, just don't. I don't know what to do if that happens. And of course I would never break our promise.” He knew the dying part was for humour but he just wanted to say what he felt, he couldn't help it.

The breezy air of Liyue blows along with the leaves of the tree behind you with some petals joining along. “Alright then Zhongli, I go by the name [ ___ ]. Let's just be one with the regular people of Liyue. A lovely wedded couple living together in a domestic home.” you interlock your arm with his as you swipe your hands in a way to show him your idea.”

He lets out a hearty laugh loving the idea of living a normal life with the one he loves most. A new story will be written on the stars, the fondest of memories will remain in their hearts forever. Their love will never be forgotten, no matter what form they take and what lifetime they may be in, they'll always find each other no matter what it takes.

“You wrap your arms around me and I'm home..”

okay I love mr zhongli so much but i feel I didn't do him justice in this one? anyways thank you for all the love I've received so far, like? it makes me so happy :'D

a/n: if you couldn't tell this is a polymorous relationship fic with the pairing kaebedo (kaeya x albedo) and a reader insert. this is my first time writing a poly fic so please forgive me if it's not the best and if you aren't comfortable with polymorous relationships please scroll! thank you have a great day!!

One knock.. Two knocks.. Three knocks..

“My love, may I come in?” you call out to your lover as you stand in front of his office door.

“Yes hun it’s open” with his reply you twist the door knob and the familiar musky scent of his cologne hits your nostrils. You walk up to Kaeya who sits behind his desk doing paperwork that he was assigned to. “How are you doing my love?” you ask as you take a loose strand of his hair and tuck it behind his ear.

“Since I took a day off for the 25th I have more work to compensate for my leave.” he sighs looking around at the untouched pile of papers. “What about you darling?”

“I finished with mine, I’ve planned ahead and just finished my last set of papers earlier and handed it to Jean to sign.” you tell him as you find your way to sit on his lap. “I think Bedo has already finished since he’s already at Dragonspine.”

Kaeya lets out a humm as he buries his head into the crook of your neck inhaling your soft scent. “You should finish though since I plan on surprising Bedo at the camp. He thinks I won't finish till tomorrow. Unless you want me to surprise him alone..” you let out a sarcastic sigh as he explains.

“No no noooo I want to be able to spend time with the both of you as well!” he whines like a little kid whilst hugging your waist tighter than before.

“Well then get to work Alberich.” you tell him but he’s quick to reply “I would be doing work if you weren't such a distraction” he remarked with sas. You get off of his lap to which he whines more not wanting to do anymore work.

“Which is why I’ll be leaving to find Klee while you finish whatever work you need to.” you kiss his forehead and then his lips. You bid your farewells and left his office to spend time with your lover's sister.

･｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ.

Kaeya stretches his arms as he walks down the stairs of the favonious headquarters knocking on the acting grandmasters office to drop off his finished paperworks, once done he goes back to his office to grab his stuff before he leaves.

Once again descending the stairs he hears the soft laughter of his lover and the loud yet adorable laugh of the cute elven. He opens the door of the room where the laughter can be heard and he sees Klee laying down on the floor while ____ braids the young girl's hair while she tells her a story.

A small smile made its way to Kaeya’s tired face but as much as he doesn’t want to disturb their adorable moment they have to go meet Albedo in Dragonspine so he knocks on the already open door to make them aware of his presence. The two look at him and Klee jumps up from the floor to hug the blue haired captain. “Mr. Kaeya!!”

“Well hello there Klee, you’ve missed me that much?” he lets out a laugh as he pats the little girl on the head. “But Klee, we should head off to go see your brother, would you like to come along?” the little girl nods her head vigorously. Kaeya laughs at her energy at this time of the night but he picks her up and he looks at you and asks, “You ready to go my love?” you smile at him to answer his question and you pick up your bag from the ground and you walk to him to grab his hand and off the three of you go to Dragonspine.

･｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ.

“Hey Klee sweetie are you cold? Come here I’ll warm you up so Kaeya can rest his arms from carrying you too.” you take Klee in your arms as she snuggles deeper into your coat. Both you and Kaeya continue to walk with the cold air of Dragonspine hitting your flush skins, you both bear with the cold and proceed to climb the snowy path.

It took a while but you now reached your lover's camp and there he was sitting by his desk examining the liquid in a test tube as he took down notes. You stop to admire the beauty the man holds so Klee was the first to move from your group to greet her brother.

“Albedo!!” She ran to hug her brother who had a shocked expression plastered on his face as three of his most favourite people appeared before him.

“Oh why hello to you too Klee” the chalk boy hygge the little girl back as he stands up with Klee still in his arms.

“I’ve missed you Albedo..” Klee mumbles as her voice shrunk but quickly shakes her head and hugged her brother tighter.

Albedo lets out a laugh and he replies “I’ve missed you too Klee.. so much..” They talked for a good while but it didn’t take long for the little fella to doze off since it was pretty late. You move to pick Klee up while Albedo stores his experiments away in a safer place so that Klee doesn’t accidentally knock one out in her sleep.

Once you’ve all tucked her in you finally have the chance to spend time with each other. You walk up to Albedo and hug his back and Kaeya soon joins you guys by hugging Albedo from the front. You three spent a moment in silence just loving the feeling of being within each other's reach. It's been a while since you’ve done this, all the work has been keeping all of you busy.

“I miss you guys, it feels like ages when we’re apart..” you mumble into your lover's back snuggling closer to him.

“God, I miss you both so much it felt weird not being with the two of you for so long. With ___’s travels, Kaeya’s captain duties, my chief alchemist stuff, we’ve all been busty during this past month.”

You notice how Albedo’s grip on Kaeya’s waist seems to tighten just a bit. So you move away from his back to get a clearer view of his face just enough to notice the droplets of tears that fall from his bright teal eyes.

“Awwh hun no need to be so glum now, we’re here and that’s all that matters.” You move some stray front hairs away from his pale face and you give him a small closed eyed smile.

You move forward and give Albedo a small kiss on the lips and you turn to give your other lover one as well and you also notice how he seems to be tearing up as well.

“Awwh darling you big baby come here, we missed you too!” You grab his face and pepper his face with a lot of kisses and finally your lips find his.

“I thought I’d be spending this Christmas alone but I’ve been proven wrong since I have three of the most precious people in my life right here with me. Even in the cold air of Dragonspine it feels warm because of you three.” stated Albedo.

“I just have to say that I must be the luckiest man to be able to call the two of you mine.” Kaeya expressed kissing Albedo’s forehead and then yours.

The three of you share an embrace never wanting to let go, the feeling of warmth that they provide feels safe, as if nothing would ever get in the way of you three. I mean you have known each other ever since you were in Khaenri’ah, you’ve been there for each other since the beginning and will be together until the end.

“If possible I would like to wrap my arms around you both forever and bask in your warmth. I love you both.” you whisper in a soft tone not wanting to disturb the little girl in her sleep. I love you’s were replied and some kisses here and there being with the two males surely made you the happiest. This year's Christmas will surely be well spent.

hiii lovelies!! it's been a long time since my last post in this blog, i haven't gotten any motivation and time to write here because of my school schedule but during christmas break i've gotten some inspiration lately!! i hope you have a merry christmas a jolly hanukkah or just an amazing day if you don't celebrate any holidays!! i'm sorry for the lack of posts and i feel like my skills have dried out since then but i hope this is alright, let my love for this ship riseee!!

a/n: it may be ooc but I just have a feeling within me that deep down inside this boy needs and wants to know how to love and to be loved because of life taking everything away that he cares about, you know?

Never once in his whole life was he able to know and cherish this unfamiliar feeling. He never had any moments to spare being so occupied by his duties to protect and defend the land of Liyue and serving their archon. All those years have been spent with not even an ounce of love both on the receiving and giving end. Though it eased him knowing that the people of Liyue felt safe when the adeptus led their land, but now at present where the Qixing are the ones who take this duty upon themselves. With that it gave him much more time to himself, though he brought it upon him to still be on lookout on the borders of their land but he wasn't as busy as he was.

The moon shines along the stars and the cold breeze felt — serene. You close your eyes as your arms support your weight on the fences of the balcony. A sudden but faint noise distracted you from your thoughts, one of your eyes opened to check but closed once more when nothing was seen indifferent.

You smile to yourself before a soft laugh escapes from your throat as you cross your arms above your chest to shield it from the cold night air of Wangshu Inn. “And to what do I owe the pleasure to be in the presence of The Vigilant Yaksha.” amusement with hints of sarcasm laced your tone as a huff came from Xiao.

“Hmmph, my presence usually goes unnoticed with others, even the traveler doesn't notice until I say something…” Xiao's hand was on his chin, head tilted down as he mumbles to himself yet still audible enough to be heard by beings that are in a close proximity.

Another laugh emitted from you. To which finally looked up from his train of thoughts and if you looked closely enough you could see the tips of his mouth twitch up into a small smile, a genuine one.

After your fit of laughter died down you finally got a clear view of his facial features, it looked softer per say. It was something you noticed whenever you were around him. It might sound like a very bold claim but anyone who has enough common sense can put the puzzle pieces together and they'll surely think the same, but then again it hurts to hope for nothing. But the look in his eyes said otherwise.

“I just wanted to spend some time with you..” the last part of his words were in a soft whisper barely audible yet it reached your ears like the all of those conversations you've had with him in the past.

Your hand reached for your chest as an awed expression adorned your face. “Awwh Xiao.. you don't know how much I love spending time with you as well..” Those words were enough to get heat rise to his cheeks.

He lifted his hand to cover his mouth and let out a cough to clear himself from the words you had just let out. You turn your head to look at him once more and your eyes are met again and a smile somehow makes its way to your lips as you take a step closer your arms find themselves around his neck and you whisper “I mean it though.. Every moment I spend with you is something that I'll treasure and will always be grateful for.” as those words left your lips you felt his own on your forehead.

“So do I. You brighten each day of my life, the dullest and darkest of times can be turned into anything but that even when it's just glance at you — everything feels warm.. and nice… and for that I wanted to thank you for it..” He suddenly confesses as he wraps his arms around your waist with such a loving look in his eyes, it was so subtle but it was there.

You and Xiao spend a moment with still silence and embracing each other. The action spoke loud enough for both parties to understand.

“Thank you for loving me, for accepting who I am, thank you for being the person who I fell in love with..” Xiao said with pure sincerity in his voice, you both close your eyes and lean in slowly and the moment your lips touch each other it gives you a feeling of security and safety within his arms.

“I love you” you told him after your lips parted from his and to that his eyes widens for a brief moment soon after he looks at you with the fondest eyes as he whispers against your ear: “I love you more”.

Love. Something Xiao never felt for as long as he lived. But when he met you he suddenly learned to know what the foreign emotion felt. You felt like home, the loving place and person he desired, for as long as he lived.

and sorry for acting like a ghost I just lacked inspiration and motivation :( hopefully my writing hasn't gone downhill, I really love doing this but it takes a toll on me sometimes

You have been invited to join this event and you’re in the grand banquet hall, everyone is dancing gracefully, swaying alongside the sounds of elegant music. Drinks, perfume, flowers and the food gave the hall a heavenly feel. As beautiful as everything may be, nothing is as beautiful than the being he was looking at — you.

“My dear sister Ayaka, I will take my leave. You do what you fancy while I — look for someone..” Ayato turned to tell his sister yet his eyes found their way to look at you once again. Ayaka followed her brother’s gaze and once she did she knew what her brother meant.

“Ah of course have fun brother.~” she let out a soft giggle as her brother grew flustered but made his way towards you.

You are standing at a spot where it wasn't too crowded yet not too empty, the other nobles and clan leaders who knew of you have come and said their greetings but like anyone else they come and go as they please.

“Ah I'm glad my people have helped you out, we'll be glad to do business with you more in the future..” you let out a sigh as the noble left, the sole reason you agreed to came here was to be respectful and attend like anyone else. You reached out to grab your glass, holding your fan with the other as you heard a charming voice speak.

“They can be tough to handle sometimes huh?” a chuckle soon followed his question.

You turned to the source of the voice and was greeted by the handsome Yashiro Commissioner, “Ah Mr. Kamisato Ayato, to whom do I owe the pleasure of meeting you?”

A smile withered its way to his lips as he noticed a smile forming on your own. “Mx. [reader] no need for such formalities, but I couldn't help but notice that you looked rather ravishing in this fine evening.”

“Oh you flatter me Mr. Ayato.. though might I be so bold to say that you look very stunning yourself.” as Ayato slowly took in your words the heat he emitted was the same as of someone who has a pyro vision.

Your giggles was clear that the way he reacted didn't go unnoticed, he cleared his throat to ease everything down a bit then he asked a question.

“Mx. [reader] might I have the honor of having a dance with you under the glowing moon and shining stars..?” he asked a hand gestured towards you to accept.

You placed your hands atop of his as you let him guide you to the destination he had in mind.

The party was amazing really, well planned out and everything but it really didn't fit both of yours and Ayato's preferences. So here you both are fleeing from the ongoing events and running towards your heart's content.

The two of you take time to regain your breath and once you did Ayato held out his hand once more and in his oh so lovely voice he asked

“Shall we dance..?”

“I would love to”

As soon as he got the answer he twirled you into his arms. You looked into his periwinkle eyes, it felt as if his gaze was glistening in favor of the stars above as well as a smile present on his features.

You let the rhythm guide you and control your movements far too mesmerised in each other's gaze, everything — all the problems and everything else didn't matter now, the only thing that mattered as of this moment was each other.

Uncontrollable feelings are being let out through the sway of each step you take. Unsaid words are now understood without being voiced out, the love for one another ever so visible.

Ayato's eyes shine like a star-lit sky. And under that sky, every moment is enchanting and filled with magic. The beauty he holds is unbelievable but he also thought the same way towards you.

His eyes scanned your face admiring the features that make you so ethereal in his eyes. He tucked in a stray lock behind your ear cupping your cheek with the same hand as he whispered in a tone that only you can hear.

“The day I met you, I found my missing piece. You complete me and make me a better person. I love you with all my heart and all my soul. ‌I secretly fell in love with our midnight talks and the way you smile.”

After each word came out of his mouth the more flustered you got. Yet you held out your hand to rest on top of his which was still resting on your cheek and you answered, “Mr. Ayato you do know how to be romantic don't you? But you don't know how long I've desired to hear those words from you. Kaeya is seated at his usual spot in Angel's Share, his drink that he ordered untouched as his mind and thoughts run with the wind no longer in his place anymore. The redhead in front of him is confused as to why he acted odd, the typical cavalry captain who's so nosy and loud isn't here at the tavern, yes he may physically be here but his mind runs from wild probably far away from where he presently is.

Kaeya doesn't seem like the person to be nervous about something like this, that's what he thought of himself as before he met the love of his life. Love changes a person— for better or for the worse. Fortunately for him it's for better, you changed his perspective on various things, one of them being love.

Never did he once think that someone will know and see what's behind the facade he's worked hard to put up. Maybe because you are like that too that may be the reason why you understand what he feels and why he feels that way.

“You seem to be nervous about something..” A voice greeted him as he came back to his senses. You sat down next to him and ordered a drink for yourself.

He let out a laugh as he turned towards you “Me? The Kaeya Alberich— nervous? Pfft” He really doesn't want to admit to the obvious does he.

“Whatever you say Mr. Alberich” you sipped from your beverage as a delighted hum left your throat.

A few chatters later you paid and left the tavern with Kaeya, you're walking together really towards nowhere and just walked around to your leisure “Valentines is near, do you have a date of your own?” your curiosity getting the best of you as you turned away while he thinked about an answer to your question.

“No but I will, if they agree, of course.” Your eyes widen at the answer not being sure on who he might ask out.

“What about you?” Your eyes turned to glace at him as you tried to come up with an answer but just gave up, “No..” you mumbled, your shoulders slumped as you continued to walk with Kaeya.

“That's good..” he whispered to himself hoping you wouldn't hear. You hummed in question to ask him to repeat what he said but he quickly denied and said it was nothing.

When you looked ahead you were already outside of Mondstadt gates, you looked at him in question “Where are we heading to?”

“You'll find out!” a cheeky grin displayed on his face as he held his hand out towards you. You cocked your eyebrow but accepted anyway.

After walking a good distance and chatting as the sun long fulfilled its duty and the moon soon made its presence known to the world.

“Here take my hand” Kaeya stretched his hand out for you to hold onto, firmly gripping his hand he pulled you up as you finally arrived to where he dragged you to, though you weren't going to complain.

You both walked towards the edge of the cliff and sat down, as you both attempted to catch your breath.

“The view from up here is gorgeous!” your eyes scan the sky as you admire all the things going on up there.

Kaeya glanced at you and let out a huff, “It really is”.

“So... is there any particular reason as to why we came up all the way here..?” you looked at him once more as you asked.

“There is a reason, yes…” he gazed at your eyes as he stood up offering for you to hold his hand once more. You took his hand and held it searching for any clues in his eyes.

He held both of your hands as he spoke, “[reader] when I first met you, I just thought you'd be one of the others who'd just pass by me and just be one of the people who'd partake and help me get more information and nothing more. When I'm with you I don't have the fear of being lonely since I know you're here by my side. The time you drank and sat with me through my darkest, my highest and my lows. I want to be like that with you as well, I want to see and be with you through your ups and downs and make you feel like you don't need to worry as long as you're here with me.. You taught me how to love again..”

He knelt down on one knee as he pulled out a velvet box, “So will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me..?”

Tears started to well up in your eyes as you nodded “Yes I will Kaeya, I would love to!!”

He smiled, his own tears starting to fall from his own eyes to dampen as well, his eye patch getting wet. He slipped the ring onto your finger as he stood up and your lips were captured by his.

“I love you [reader]” he whispered, his hands holding your face.

“I love you too Kaeya” he placed a kiss on your forehead as you both looked up at the sky holding each other close.

“Happy Valentine's Day, from now until forever..”
