You wiped the sweat from your forehead and bent down to catch your breath . You were sure that you looked like a zombie right now . Your shirt was dripping wet . Each and every muscle of your body ached and you just needed sleep right now . " I ....can't ...I " You murmured and failed to form sentences . " Fine . Let's take a break ." Baekhyun suggested and sat down on the bench near you .

It's been a week since you became a secretary . You attended meetings , sent e-mails and organised your boss's schedule . The work load was too much and the job was demanding but you were somehow able to handle it . You clearly remember your first day when you fell asleep during a meeting . You had apologized to Baekhyun numerous time and he decided to accept your apology on one condition . You had never thought that sleeping during a meeting would cost you your sleep . That explains your presence here . You had never imagined that your boss would ask you to jog with him at 6: 30 in the morning . You swore you were never going to sleep during a meeting ever again .You thought being his secretary was going to be easy , but nah , the universe loves to play games with you .

You took baby steps to your seat . You slouched against the seat and closed your eyes to relax . Gradually , you breath became normal . " Here . Drink this ." He handed you a bottle of water and you bowed your head . " You must be thinking that I'm the worst boss in the world . " He chuckled and drank some water hungrily , water dripping from his chin , sliding down to his chest . Was it your imagination or he was looking really hot ? " I did deserve punishment for I had done ." You spoke and looked down . " Honestly , I called you because I was lonely . I love being close to people and having someone to talk to , so I called you . As far as you are concerned , you do give a good laugh when you run .It's your choice to come to jog with me everyday . Come on , it's time to run ." He grinned before running away . You gasped and huffed before catching up with him . Even though it was annoying , you felt like jogging with him everyday . And you did .

You wondered why Baekhyun asked you to come to his office . He had no schedules as of now . " Yes Sir ? " You asked him , careful to hide your nervousness . " I have someone I would like you to meet ." He smiled and as if on cue a cute boy who had been hiding behind him ran towards you and hugged your legs .You shot him a questioning look . " I think you already did . Miss Y/N , meet my nephew , Jaehyun . " He introduced you to the little cutie pie . You bent down to the child's level and smiled at him . You swear you were going to melt seeing his cute eyes . " Hello , I'm Byun Jaehyun . " You kissed his cheeks and pulled it lightly . " Hello sweetheart . I'm Y/N , your uncle's secretary ." You chuckled seeing him pout . Baekhyun cleared his throat , tired of being ignored . You had totally forgotten about your boss and quickly stood up . " I want you to take care of Jaehyun today . " Baekhyun requested . " But what about the work Sir ? " You questioned .

" I will take care of that ."

" And this is how you draw a flower ." You showed Jaehyun your sketch of a rose and he clapped his hands . You were a babysitter before you worked as a waitress so you had some experience with kids . You were sure that you were gonna become the best mother after knowing numerous tactics . Kids were usually ecstatic with you . They were always fascinated by your drawings . Who wouldn't be ? You had always wanted to become an artist . You didn't become an artist ; the only thing you could do was dream .

" Can I have a tour of this building ? "

" Of course ."

Baekhyun was anxious . His nephew was a mischievous kid . Honestly , he was scared of the cute little devil . He clearly remembers the day when the kid spilled paint in his bedroom and added cucumbers in his dish without him knowing . Chills ran down his spine when he remembered how he vomited and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night . He was walking towards the conference room when his eyes landed on you . You were looking outside the window with Jaehyun by your side . He saw you drawing an imaginary circle with your hands and pouting . You picked him up and nuzzled your nose with him . He didn't realize that he was smiling this entire time but he knew it was definitely because of you .

Baekhyun adored his employees . He believed that being close to them would increase trust and would help to establish a healthy and a friendly relationship . He always devised ways to be casual with them and keep them happy . After all , they worked hard for their families . The opening of his new hotel was near , all of the people were under pressure , and a company dinner would definitely cheer them up .

" I know you all are under pressure and are working hard day and night . I want you to relax today and enjoy the time together and forget about the work for the time being . I know I'm not the best boss -" His little speech was interrupted with 'No Sir ' , 'That's not true ' , and ' You're the best ' . " I'm still young and I'm trying hard to be come one . Anyways , Cheers ! To Mistic chain of hotels ! " He continued and lifted his glass of wine in a toast , followed by the others . You lifted your glass of wine and drank it a bit . " Wohoo~ " Baekhyun shouted and the party began .

You had never imagined that a company dinner could be fun . It was nice to be in the company of such outgoing and funny people . You were sure that the people at your table were the noisiest . The evening was filled with laughter , experiences , truth , happiness and sheer excitement . It felt like ten Jongdaes had filled the table . Ah ! You had to call Jongdae too . " Who's the youngest here ? " Chanyeol questioned and scanned the crowd and his eyes landed on you . " Y/N-shi , you're the youngest right ? Show us some aegyo ." Chanyeol beamed . " I-I ..." You stuttered and waved your hands in denial . " SHOW US ! SHOW US ! SHOW US ! " All of the employees started shouting excitedly , you were surprised to see Baekhyun cheering for you too . " Fine . Booing Booing ~ " You squeaked while doing the aegyo , trying to pour all the cuteness in the act . It was followed by laughs , giggles and awws . You covered your face with a few strands of your hair . You wanted to curl up in a ball due to the embarrassment . This was a night you were never going to forget .

" How are you going home Miss Y/N ? " Baekhyun asked as he saw standing alone . " I'll take a cab from here Sir ." You answered and your eyes continued the search . It had been a long night and now you wanted to reach home . It had been cringy night for some part , thanks to your aegyo . " I can drop you off if you want ." He proposed . His offer was very tempting but you didn't want to bother him . You were capable of going home on your own . " It's okay sir , I can manage . " You smiled at him but in actual you were worried as there wasn't sign of a single cab . " A zero may or may not be deleted from your salary if don't get in the car ." He teased and whistled nonchalantly looking elsewhere . You gasped in surprise . " Are you blackmailing me ? " You spoke in shock . " Then what do I do to convince a gorgeous lady to get in the car since it's not safe outside ? " He said and smirked a little . That caught you off guard and you didn't know what to say . You let your cheeks do the work . You let your guard down for the first time and got in the car .

" I'll be going then . Goodnight ." He smiled at you once and got into the car . The ride was a bit awkward . But you discovered a new side to him . The fact that he could sing so well intrigued you . He cracked some jokes and hummed along to the songs . He just dropped you off and was going to leave . There was this little part of you that wanted him to stay . Well , it is said that be careful what you wish for and it is true . Baekhyun slammed onto the accelerator one more time but the car didn't start . He tried it again and again and again . He gave you a nervous laugh . " I think I should call a cab ." He mumbled and scratched his nape nervously . " You won't find a cab now ." You teased him and smirked a little . He looked at you through narrow eyelids . But then his expression changed . " Maybe I can stay at your apartment for the night . You won't say no to your boss right ? " He teased you and entered the building .

" Which one is yours ? "

" It's small . How can a person even survive here ? " Baekhyun expressed with a hint of bewilderment in his voice . " I can . " You answered his question and went towards the fridge . You lived in a studio apartment which was small , obviously , but comfortable . You never had guests so all you never were conscious of keeping it clean . You were so busy with your job that you never had the time to cherish it . You wake up , go to work , come back and sleep . That pretty much self - explanatory . You were proud of yourself now that you found some juice in the fridge . You needed to go shopping someday ; your fridge is almost empty . Pouring the juice into two glasses , you carried it to your boss who was observing the picture kept on the nightstand . " That was when I was in the orphanage ." You spoke and he turned to look at you . " Juice ? " You asked him and he took the glass from you , gulping it down in one go . He kept the glass in the sink and sat on the sofa . He jumped on the sofa and slumped back against it . " It's comfortable . I'll sleep here ." He stated and removed his suit jacket . " I wasn't going to offer you my bed , you know ." You joked and stifled a giggle . He gave you an expression of disbelief and you wished you had clicked its photo . " What ? I'm joking ." You giggled and he huffed .

Your bed was on the northwest of the sofa so you had a good view of the angel who was sleeping on it . His sleeves were rolled up and he laid his head on his arms . You smiled to yourself as you scanned him . He looked so adorable with his tongue protruding . He shifted and faced the sofa . This indicated that you should go to sleep now as it's pretty late .You closed your eyes and tried to sleep . You tossed and turned many times , unable to sleep . You heard sounds of shuffling . You felt as if someone was running. You turned on your head and were confused to see your boss jogging . " What are you doing ? " You sat up on your bed . " I wasn't able to sleep so I thought why not exercise instead of wasting time ." He spoke in between the breaths . You chuckled and walked towards the fridge and took out two bottles of beer . " I know something which can help you sir ." He looked confused when he saw bottles of beer in your hand . " Follow me ." You walked out of your apartment with Baekhyun following you . " For a second , I thought you were the boss ." He joked as both of you climbed the stairs to the rooftop . He silently followed you till you reached the rooftop . The door was not locked as usual . You pushed the door open and scanned your surroundings . " Here we are . " You grinned . He walked towards the railing and looked down . You sat down on the carpet which was already there and Baekhyun imitated it . " When I am not able to sleep , I come here and observe the starry night . It's serene . Helps you relax ." You sipped the beer and sighed . He sipped on his beer and observed the sky . " It's beautiful indeed . And relaxing ."

You smiled looking at him and observed his side profile . He sighed again and looked down . " How long have you know Jongdae ? " He suddenly questioned . " Since I was a kid . We lived at the same orphanage . He used to protect me from all the bullies . He used to do my hair too . Don't tell him that otherwise he'll kill me ." He chuckled and you giggled . " I wish I had someone like that too . You know , for sharing stuff , having deep talks ." He sighed and look down . " What about Mr. Do ? I thought you were good friends ." You spoke and looked at him . You remember that day when his friend Mr. Do Kyungsoo came to visit him and he looked so ecstatic . " Well , there's a difference between being close to someone and talking to someone's whose popular . " The realization hit you hard . You had never realized that . " I don't have many long-lasting friendships ." He sipped on his beer and gave you a sad smile . " You have me ." You blurted before you had the time to stop you . He looked at you with wide eyes shocked by your sincere words . He cleared his throat and looked away . His ears turned red and you blushed .

" What about you ? Any difficulties that you have faced so far ? " He changed the topic . " Well , I-I ...um..wouldn't that be unprofessional on my part ? " You questioned and he gave you are-you-serious-right-now look . " I thought we were close ." He confessed and you bit your lips contemplating whether to say it or not . " I-I was always isolated in the orphanage . I liked living in my own shell . Jongdae helped me to break that shell and come out . He always comforted me whenever I cried . He is my family . I envied the children who got adopted while I , I had no one except for him . But I was becoming used to it . Until a day came , when Jongdae got adopted too . I bawled and held on to his leg for hours , refusing to let him go . But I had to , and I did . He visited me everyday , bringing chocolates and stories about the world he lived in . He always assured me that a day will come when I will have a family , a mom , a dad , possibly a sibling too . I waited for it , for like an eternity . I couldn't take it anymore and I left the orphanage to live on my own and I'm still alive ." You passed him a sad smile and tried to control your tears as the memories flashed before your eyes . " I am always here for you when you need me . I am your boss till Jongdae comes and after that we can be friends . Don't think that I'll leave you , I'll continue to pester you ." He chuckled and you joined him .

It was then you realized , you didn't want to leave him .

Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!! 2017 Event Report

The aforementioned event is a concert that took place today (August 2) at Yokohama Arena. The concert ran for almost three hours (approximately 7pm to 10pm) and focused on P3, P4, and P5 songs. The games Persona 5 Dancing Star Night, Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night, and Persona Q2 were announced during this concert as well. The first two are targeted for a 2018 release, while there is no news on the lattermost’s release date.

Under the cut are more details about how the event went, including the songs and shenanigans I can remember off memory. TL;DR it was a very fun concert and I’m glad I came!

Note: I tried my best to write everything I can remember from memory but there might be blanks here and there are some song titles I cannot remember well. I’ll note them as needed, in any case. Also I’ll be using the following to refer to the protags: P3 protag = Minato, P4 protag = Yu, P5 protag = Akira.

The concert’s opening song was “Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There”, followed by “Burn My Dread”, then “Pursuing My True Self”. In all of these segments, the back-up dancers were dressed up as Shadows and accompanied Lyn Inazumi, Yumi Kawamura, and Shihoko Hirata respectively as they sang and danced (a bit) to the song. The three of them along with their back-up dancers performed a medley of “Beneath the Mask”, “Signs of Life”, and... a song from P3 whose title I can’t remember well. It might have been “When The Moon's Reaching Out Stars” but I’m very uncertain about it, the only thing I’m sure of is that the song is from P3. I will correct this post once I figure out what it’s supposed to be.

After this was “Life Will Change” (or some variation of it, I wasn’t noting the song names very well at this point in time), and it was revealed that the back-up dancers were actually costumed as P5 characters! So we had dancing Futaba, Ann, Haru, and Akira. After that, they danced to another song, I’m not sure of the title but there were less to no vocals in this one. It was “Tokyo Emergency”, I think. I could be wrong on this one though.

After that, “Mass Destruction” came up and the Shadow back-up dancers were revealed to be Mitsuru, Shinjiro, Junpei, and Minato. Lotus Juice was also present and was there for the next song, “Deep Breath, Deep Breath”.

For “Reach Out To The Truth”, we had dancing Dojima, Nanako, Yosuke, and Teddie. What a treat. After that was “Last Surprise”, followed by a small intermission where the singers had a bit of a talk!

Before I forget, all of the costume reveals were accompanied by some original voice tracks from their respective voice actors! Everyone went pretty wild with the P5 people and Shinjiro’s VA (Nakai), ahaha. I don’t think they were in the event itself, but it’s pretty neat they did those things!

Anyway, during the talk, they ended up commenting on their get-ups because they were pretty much getting into the Persona theme, to say the least of it! Kawamura was wearing a SEES armband and a really cool jacket that resembles the Gekkoukan High blazer, Hirata was wearing a Yasogami High uniform, Lotus Juice was wearing a SEES armband and a shirt with Yasogami High logos (apparently he couldn’t choose between the two games lol), and Inazumi was wearing something that looks a lot like Makoto’s uniform. They were all pretty cute and cool! Also Shoji Meguro was around!

After the intermission, we were treated to a tap-dancing Futaba, who was actually tap-dancing to “Phantom”. Next numbers are “Tokyo Daylight”, “Key Plus Words”, “Break Out Of...”, “Laser Beam”, “Will Power”, “Beneath the Mask (Rain)”, “Blooming Villain”, a song from either P4 or P3 which I can’t remember, “Keeper of Lust”, “Battle for Everyone’s Souls”.

After this, Hiroko appeared alongside someone else dressed up as Justine, with the other as Caroline. The person in question is someone named Arisa Noto, and she’s the one who was Dancing!Nanako earlier. They sang the “Junes Theme” together, it was really cute.

The next song was “Poem for Everyone’s Souls”, it was pretty dark throughout the time they played this song. They then played another song whose name I can’t remember, then “Mistic”, with the Haru dancer doing ballet for it. She continues the dance into “Heaven”, and “Our Beginning”.

After that, they played “Burn My Dread - Last Battle -” and “Maze of Life”. I think it was here in this song that they did some simple stunts, like the Shinjiro dancer lifting the Mitsuru dancer (I think Hirata also got lifted ahaha). The following songs were “Time To Make History”, “The Whims of Fate”, “Rivers in the Desert”, and then the game announcements followed!

Persona 5 Dancing Star Night was the first to be announced, followed by Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night. Later on was PQ2, with the Arsene logo thing and something like “more information to come”. Despite some of the announcements being a long time coming, the reactions were very positive and someone in the audience even shouted “Arigato!”. That kinda thing.

Somewhere around this time, they also played a song whose name I can’t remember. It might be the P2 song people have been mentioning, but I’m not too sure, please don’t take my word on this one.

There was a bit of singer talk again sometime in between the songs (I can’t remember the timing anymore), but sometime later after the game announcements, they showed some P3 movie ED scenes WHICH WERE NOT OK before they started playing “Kimi no Kioku”. This song is a million ways not OK especially since Kawamura asked us to sing a part of it and I think everyone was not prepared lol but we all sang it anyway. My heart ahh.

Next song was “Life Will Change”, then “Never More”, and lastly (predictably so) “Hoshi To Bokura To”. And that marks the concert end, more or less.

Alright, time for overall impressions! I already said it before I started but I really, really enjoyed this concert! I like what they did with the penlights here, i.e. the audience didn’t have to switch the colors of the lights and they all did automatically. Which, I think is the reason why they disallowed people to use their own lights. The light effects were damn cool, and some of the interesting effects include matching the colors to the game where the song’s from (i.e. blue for P3, yellow for P4, red for P5) and forming stuff like the letters P3, P4, P5 whenever necessary. Awesome stuff. Also that whole audience being asked to sing part of “Kimi no Kioku”. Hoo boy, it was kinda soft but I do like the way it involved the audience in that manner.

The singers also served as MCs of a kind and they did wonderfully as that, in addition to all the singing. This is my first Persona concert so I have no idea how they all fared in that respect, but yes, I think their experience as entertainers really shows and I certainly wouldn’t mind going to a concert of theirs in the future, should they do one.

That said, I’m very much looking forward to next year if they do one again! It’s worth every yen I paid and if they held this on another day too, I think I might actually be tempted to buy a ticket to that one too. If you guys get the opportunity to watch one of these concerts, please do! Or do the next best thing and buy the CD, if/when it comes out!
