desperately seeking a series of fanfictions I read ~10 years ago and can no longer find. I distinctly remember there was a collection of monaboyd fics somewhere, and those fics were god-tier (at least to me).

Some titles I remember: Nights In White Satin / Etchings in Glass / Ebb and Flow (or something like that, English isn't my first language).

It's like they vanished into thin air, I cannot find them anywhere!

ok, I got tagged by @overeasysmokemachine to list my 5 favourite fics I’ve written, so in no order:

One More Rule (MDZS, wangxian): I love writing WWX, I love when he’s a goof and overdramatic and silly

in his place (TKEM, Yeong/OMC [briefly] & unrequited GonJo [or is it]): I love a Five Times format, I love Jo Yeong, I love giving him ADHD and many boyfriends. 

Haunted (MDZS, gen): Beth Wishes She Was More Poetic Than She Is lmao.

A Perfect First Impression (MDZS, junior-centric gen, modern AU): the first entry in what I call the Tales of the Shithole Apartment. There is a longer sequel sitting sadly on my hard drive partially written but completely plotted out. 

Adoption (MDZS, wangxian): I still really like the ~twist~ in this one lol

Moriarty update on chapter five. the colonel (Boyd) picks up a cat awkwardly. whines about moriarty (monaghan) not wanting to kill more people. Holmes becomes the subject of an underground counter investigation. Moriarty recalls his proposal to Rose which did not make me tear up at ALL. this is so good :)

Billy/Dom! and idk about hate but I was definitely young enough to be much more passionate about ship wars and was not into Dom/Elijah very much. I wrote a lot of monaboyd though, my tumblr name was adjacent to my current one but slightly different. I've been as brand consistent as possible from the very start. (Though my fic was posted to a different livejournal.)

I was alround for most of the fw dramas! Some I was just a casual observer reading the threads on, ofc, but I was always there for the tea.

The part of lotrips I'm most fond are the memories I made while attending cons. My first kiss with a girl was at a game of spin the bottle at a lord of the rings convention! (Also pretty sure my second and third ones were also at lotr cons as well.)

three ships: Currently, Bojere duh. Previously, um, there are many to choose from but let's go with Steve/Bucky (MCU) and Steve/Danno (Hawaii Five-O) and leave my dark rpf past out of this one.

first ship: I'm not sure how I got into shipping exactly, because by the time Merry/Pippin came along it was not new to me. But it was the first big one, which very quickly lead to Monaboyd, which was the first huge one. Can't believe those guys are still friends after more than 20 years since meeting (!!!) and doing a play together soon (!!!) (man, if that was in Europe I'd be sooo tempted).

last song: Apart from last night's JO stream, Hyvää yötä ja huomenta by Don Huonot (it's for... reasons, ok?)

currently reading: Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux (physical book) and Miehiä ja mielenrauhaa by Marja Kangas (on audio), both are for book club. (If that one friend from book club who is a Käärijä fan and sometimes reads fic happens to lurk on Tumblr: if you saw this NO YOU DIDN'T) I used to read a lot, but since the kid and getting back into fandom I barely read any actual books /o\

currently watching: Kid shows on Yle Areena omg. When I need to turn my brain off, I tend to gravitate to trash reality, like Temptation Island Suomi, Selling Sunset or Love is Blind or the likes. We also watch Taskmaster UK a lot. Last finished show was Ted Lasso, which I kinda want to watch again soon. Shows that I should finish at some point: all the Star Wars stuff on Disney+, Daisy Jones and the Six, Community rewatch, Three Pines
