Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou mag zichzelf met veel trots Unesco werelderfgoed noemen. Dit authentiek dorpje maakt deel uit van de caravan route en wordt al eeuwen actief gebruikt door nomaden en handelaars. She would prey on the Spanish that invaded Morocco, by seducing the men towards her she was able to drag them under the riverbeds. They say the men became possessed or were never found. Some moroccans actually believe she was a heroine & the reason for Spain losing against Morocco, others see her as a mermaid, or a demonic djinn. Aisha is usually associated as something to be feared, but a spiritual being/demon/jinn that helped Morocco. there are various versions of her story, but she is almost always identified to have Goat/Camel feet. Moroccan residents say if they pour boiling water down the sink drain and call to Aisha, she will come to help with a situation. People (led by men) gather at the river where she is known to reside bringing bring milk / bread / incense and candles.
